Gana Restaurant in Harrow

We were seven of us went for a get-together meal. For the Monday night restaurant is fairly busy. Customer sitting area bit tight, but service was great. Multiple check backs are done by waiting staffs. Both of those boys are done a great job. Food wise all of them are taste nice. Spice level can be adjusted as per request. My only recommendation is Lamprise need bit more improvement. Parking is free to after 18.30.

Gana is a beautiful Tamil restaurant with a warm and inviting atmosphere. I tried their Shovel Grill Special by the Rayners Lane branch, a generous spread of seafood, meats, biryani, and egg - easily enough for three people with leftovers, all for £70. Some of the grilled meats could have used a bit more flavour, but when combined, everything was enjoyable. The butter squid starter was an absolute standout - I'm salivating just thinking about it! Highly recommend! The tea however, was in need of adjustment - which the team happily did and it was better. By the Wembley branch they also have a new lime juice mocktail - which was divine!

Had a mild chicken curry and naans, with chilli paneer and other family members had the thali. Was all very nice, had my chicken curry as mild, but even still that was still abit too spicy! Service was great, regularly checking on our table which was great. Will come back and no issues to recommend this place.

Very conflicted with this review. The owner was very friendly & welcoming but that’s about as far as the positive experience goes. The waiters are also nice. The real problem is in the kitchen. The chicken 65 was sub-par. Served here on the bone (who does that?!). But thankfully they made a boneless version for us which was just average. The anchovy fry arrived cold. We pointed this out. So they took it away and brought it back with some onions over it. It was horrible Thankfully they took it away and didn’t charge us for it. The daal vadai had been made earlier in the day then microwaved. It was dry and tasteless. Lion lagers were great. So can’t recommend the place for food despite great service. The kitchen needs serious improvements Get the pakoras on the counter - they’re great

We ordered a little after noon on a Monday for 1.30pm and the food came at 2. Given that it's a working Monday, I have no idea why it was that late.

Scrumptious food: Gana devlied special, chilli garlic naan, butter naan, Nattu kozhi curry. Masala tea & a delicious mango lassi. Service: brilliant service, very attentive and friendly. He suggested us the above menu, made sure to explain the spice level and provided options. Didn't get his name; would love to give this credit to him (short hair, uses spectacles) the chefs and all the crew.

I have visited **Gana Restaurant** a few times over the past few months, and each visit has been a wonderful experience. Tasty foods but a lots of chilly pieces.

Gaana Restaurant is lovely if you love Tamil dishes packed full of spices- especially in Koththu Roti, Chicken Biriyani etc. The Falooda that they serve is delicious and is a great finisher for your main course meal (though I will say it is a tad too sweet for my liking, personally). Service is lovely and fast, therefore great for those who are on the go or have errands to run! It's great to dine in or takeway when you're feeling peckish after a long day in Rayners Lane (or just Harrow in general). It's a restaurant perfect for families, perfect for couples, perfect for friends, or even perfect for single visitors. I will definitely go there again, since the food serve is just like my mother's ❤️

The service is good, but the restaurant can get quite busy on weekends. They have a takeaway shop next door, which is convenient. The food is consistently good.

We’ve ordered 1 potion chicken devil, prawn fry and milk coppers take away. I had very unpleasant experience when I open the food at home. Food was bad smelling and expired chicken and prawn. The milk copper was completely out of date. Please avoid this place.

Had My sister bday party there. it was great had a parking at the back the cameraman is a special guy. Love him too. Overall it's a good place to hire out for any tamil functions

I’ve been going to Gana restaurant for nearly 15 years now.Food quality and the customer service are both excellent.Specially when we dine in today, Manoj gave us a good customer service.

Unfortunately when we went, there was not any naan bread as we wanted to originally order so had to alternatively order the roti and paratha. We had the mutton curry which was recommended as the most popular order however there was too many liver and bone pieces for our liking (even no bone marrow!). The mutton roll was overpriced and underfilled with meat. We also ordered raita and it never came.

We had Sunday lunch at Gana, we were the onky table for most of the time. Our server was Guhan who was very helpful and attentive. The food was authentic Sri Lankan food that was tasty. Guhan was very accommodating, making one of the dishes less spicy for our daughter. Our first time here but we’ll visit again.

Lots of food choices. We had a party of 8, they were a bit slow to bring out our drinks, but they were enjoyable once we got them. The food was tasty and if you like spicy food this is the place for you.

If you want your taste buds to experience an array of the most exotic, spices, flavours and 🌶 I suggest heading over to Gana. I had the prawn Kothu Rotti whilst the prawns were overcooked the overall flavour was absolutely sublime. The portion was very giving as well. My sister had the masala dosa which she enjoyed, the sambal was flavoursome with a good kick of chilli. Garlic mogo was stunningly seasoned and crispy. Very enjoyable. Masala chai arrived late and was not very warm. Will definitely visit again. Thank you 😊

We celebrated 2 birthdays here and the service was amazing with the food being flavourful and arrived on time. The staff were really accommodating as well being very interactive and joyful. Mohammed and the rest of the staff were excellent hosts, will definitely come back again.

Got my order wrong. I ordered mutton kottu rotti but they delivered chicken kottu rotti. Not happy!

I visited Gana restaurant with my family yesterday and we had a great time. The food was incredible with ranges of spices and the taste had really shown of Gana. We had the best time with all the waiters, and the service led by Guhan was very good. I would definitely visit again.

We travelled far to come and try this restaurant but it disappointed us as when we came there, we had to wait 20 minutes to be noticed by one of the staff, food was average, food took forever to come and the staff didn’t know who ordered what food, would never come again, it’s a waste of time.
