Little Thai in Harborough

I absolutely love this place. Always excellent service with a smile. The food is on a different level. There are so many different dishes on the menu that it is so hard to choose. Only solution is to keep visiting and eventually try it all.

Brilliant! So tasty every time we go! So affordable for the portion size! Great for a take away too! We always get the curries and coconut rice! The skewers are nice too Wish they had more desert options but other than that brilliant! We’ll always be back! Our go to when we are in Market Harborough

Delivered at the time advised however it was over an hour after ordering which wasn’t advised until after the order was placed. Had selected asap. Food was delicious as always

Our first ever sit down restaurant Thai meal with the family , following on from our first Thai takeaway last month . A good atmosphere and pleasant welcome as we arrived. We ordered a set meal and some extras including a couple of sizzling dishes . The food was freshly cooked and piping hot . It was all very tasty with good flavours that didn’t overpower. Service was good and overall a good meal and we would be happy to go again.

While staying in Market Harborough we found this little gem of a Thai Restaurant. We were met with friendly staff and although we did not have a booking they found us a table for 2. Food was excellent.

Great service, friendly, clean, and authentic! Hadn't been for a couple of months, so we decided to go for a treat. Can't praise this place enough. The food is amazing! Absolutely taste in everything! Love it.

Third time visiting the Little Thai Restaurant and as usual it didn’t disappoint! Service is spot on, food is faultless and delicious and great value for money. Can’t wait for my next visit!

The meal was cold, ribs and chicken satay tasted odd and had to be left uneaten (early order, was it left overs?). The Pad Thai was worse than mediocre but really the only vaguely edible thing in a very expensive takeaway. Supposed to be a treat but was anything but! Never again

Awful, cold food, cooked at 18.05 on receipt, delivered at 19.30. Shocking!

Excellent food, very attentive service and lovely ambience. Definitely one of our favourite restaurants and one we will be visiting again for sure. Also free parking after 6pm in the car park just 30 seconds away.

Wow, oh wow! Booked up for a treat. Excellent service. Great table at the window. It was a cold, windy night but so nice and warm inside. I can't say enough good things about the food! Everything was awesome to taste. Great, great night!

Ordered duck spring rolls. Usually get 4. I got 2 cut in half and paid same price! Really hope this isn’t a new thing as that’s not on.

The food was amazing, we had a party of five and everyone completely enjoyed their meal. Amazing place.

A very mixed review. Firstly they were great at letting me have two starters as a main course plus the food was very nice. The downside was when they served food they kept leaning over me rather than going around the back of me. Then nice hot plates were brought out, but then the food was brought out a lot later and the plates were cold. When we came to pay (there were quite a few of us) they gave us individual bills which was brilliant as it saved us trying to work out what everyone needed to pay.

Food and service was fantastic as usual. We love Thai food and this restaurant is excellent.

Four of us went for dinner. We do eat here several times a year. The owner Lek, is a lovely person. The staff are very nice and the food is excellent. Granted we love Thai food, but having just came back from 2 weeks in Thailand the food here was a a good as it was in Thailand. Great value for money.

Great food great service reasonably priced dishes

This was my first time at Little Thai and it won’t be my last. We had such a lovely meal and the Pad Thai was perfect! The staff are all super friendly and welcoming too. 10/10!

Stayed locally for a Silverstone event and wandered round here for a meal one evening. Very good quality Chinese/Thai food and excellent presentation. Nice decor as well. Will come back this year with my wife when I am next in Market Harborough.

It was okay. Sort of disappointment as it's a restaurant we'd been hoping to go to do thought we'd try their take out. Average, husband ate his but I left most of mine

Nice place. We had curries and a blackbean dish. Statters were yummy.Good rice and service was very attentive. Happy little place, good food. Beer a bit steep, so we drank less!🙂

Food is great and service is good. If you are sat near the door bring a coat because you will be cold. Good vegan options.

Food was amazing, but delivery was ordered for 17:45 and turned up nearly an hour after that.

Food arrived worryingly quick. Wrong curry delivered. Only 2 pieces of chicken satay not the usual 3 and the Thai crackers were half the size!

Not the best Tai food that I have had, quite poor, veg still semi raw, and small bottle of sparkling water £3.50…. Overpriced. Prawn crackers usually provided free but not here, small dish £3.95…..

When the food finally arrived it was cold, very disappointing

Food actually never turned up after 2 hours after being told it was out for delivery. Staff were unhelpful in updates and gave false information for arrival time. 2.5 hours later chose to cancel and were still very unhelpful. Still £70 out of pocket.

Surprisingly busy for 6:30pm on a chilly Tuesday night in November, we walked into a little slice of Bangkok. Very attentive service and an excellent range of veggie options. I loved the decor, especially the big golden boat, and the food was really tasty.

I would like to give our experience 5 stars. Beautiful food, prompt service despite being extremely busy. Remembered by owner despite not having visited for some time. Really ‘top notch’ will be back Thankyou so much. My husband forgot to pick up a gift from our son that was left on the table & we were rang immediately to let us know before we drove off Thankyou so much, you deserve to be busy. The best Thai food restaurant around!! Having been to Thailand a few times I’ve always found that most Thai restaurants in the UK don't live up to the amazing food you get over there. That’s not the case with The Little Thai. Delicious, fresh & authentic Thai food! Lek & the staff are amazing too!

The Little Thai restaurant has for many years been our stand out favourite Thai restaurant in Leicestershire, so our experience last Friday came as a shock. We have to assume that the owners, and definitely the cook has changed because the quality and amount of food is dreadful in comparison to the past. The meagre portions are both poor quality and expensive for what they are. The fish cake starter was more like a cracker than a cake, and a spring roll was cold and obviously fresh from the fridge or freezer and not fully cooked. The stir fry with ginger was totally lacking in ginger except for one very small slice to the point that there was no ginger essence to the dish. Another dish was over chilli’ed to the point of discomfort at eating it, and the Prawn dish being bland. A starter, a main course fir 3, a glass of wine, one beer and a soft drink came to over £92. Not good value in anyone’s books. I think we were both too shocked, and because the restaurant was so busy that we didn’t have the opportunity to raise our disquiet at the time. Sadly after all these years we will not be going back to risk a repeat performance, and if they are not careful they should find a lot of their other regular customers also voting with their feet.

Nice food, lovely staff, a great restaurant found right in the heart of Market Harborough. The prices are fair and in keeping with the current climate. We had a set meal for two, and there were 2 things we weren't fussed about, so they allowed us to swap them. We would have completely understood if they had said no.

This restaurant is so good and the takeaway was just as good. Everything is really fresh and delicious. The takeaway was delivered quickly and everything was still hot. One of the best places to eat in Harborough both at the restaurant and as a takeaway.

Yellow curry is always fantastic but feel that 2 x skewers of chicken satay for starter is not enough especially for how much paying. Used to get 3 of them a couple years ago when we first moved to Market Harborough.

Ordered meal,over phone, Cole ted about 30 minutes later. Loads of good quality ingredients in main dishes which tasted really good. Had the Little Thai starter platter to commence. Loads of good flavour and nice ingredients.

I ordered take away from Little Thai restaurant lastnight to celebrate mine and my partners anniversary. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the food received. We ordered the Vegetarian Mixed platter for 2, Tofu Pad Thai, Bangkok chicken and egg fried rice. The Vegitarian mixed platter was inedible, it had seemed as though your chefs had just gotten a random selection of vegetables used in other dishes and just deep fried them in batter. Onion, mushroom, carrot, broccoli - No flavour or spice or anything added. It was all clumped together, tasteless, deep fried vegetables left greasy. Needless to say this wasn't eaten and for the price of £15.95 just for this one dish! The two spring rolls with it was about as good as you get from a supermarket frozen. The Pad Thai and Bangkok Chicken was mediocre, no better than you would get from any other takeaway or a supermarket meal kit. Certainly not worth the £10.50 for the Pad Thai and £15.95 for the Bangkok chicken - and that's without the rice added! After hearing good things about the restaurant and the prices I expected alot better quality of food which me and my partner were excited about trying, but now I'm left wishing we saved our money and went else where. It looks from the reviews it's a completely different experience from dining in to takeaway.

Great little Thai restaurant, but a bit pricey.

Fairly good food but not the best I have had. Really average. I would suggest they heat the plates as using cold plates means the food cools quickly. Not very busy so not atmospheric. Would I visit again? Don't think so. I am still searching for a good Thai restaurant near Leicester.

Unexpectedly, there will be a Thai restaurant like this in a small town like MH Food and taste are very good although not authentic It may also be because the taste of the locals changed the cooking method PS: My friend also said that she would like to move to MH for this restaurant lol

Been here numerous times never disappoints but tonight was below par. Cannot fault service or surroundings but food was cold, sent it back it was returned after microwaving on same plates still not brilliant but edible. When bill came we were charged full amount after complaining and pointing out we had sent it back once they knocked off 5%, ie £3.50 off£69 bill not good enough shan't return in a hurry.

Great food, really tasty and freshly prepared. They cater for vegetarians well. Venue is lovely, and the staff look after you well. Wine better than most restaurants in the area ;-)

Little disappointing this time. Most of the food was good but the ribs were dry and salty, and it now feels quite expensive for what it is compared to other restaurants.

Yeah it's quite nice and cozy (restaurant is small) and the staff do try to look after you but and it's a big BUT its massively overpriced for what you get..........a few more starters in starters for two and a bit more chicken in the main and for that matter a bit more rice - will hardly break the bank at these prices. Decent Thai food seemed a bit pricey for takeaway. Maybe it was because we’d just returned from holiday and had better Thai in Malta and at lower prices, so I’m giving them five stars in case I’m just being grumpy.

With such an expensive order I would have expected some free prawn crackers and the food was Luke warm so wonder if we were last on the delivery list

Awful customer service from restaurant when phoned to enquire about the whereabouts of my order. Manager and owner of the restaurant was extremely rude to me on the phone and in person, arguing and confrontational. Awful customer service. She wouldn’t let go of my food when trying to take it away. When order finally received: all food was cold. Disgusting service.

Got notification food was out for delivery. 1 hour later it arrived cold and barely edible. Food and service is usually good from Little Thai so a bit shocked though not ordered from them for a while.

The service was great but the food was overpriced for what it was and very small portions. We ordered the set meal for 3 expecting some left overs and there wasn't anything at all! Food was tasty but not mind blowing

Popped in at the weekend with family and was pleasantly greeted by charming waitress / front of house. Turns out the place has been under new management since the last time I visited which was 2 years ago Ordered the mixed starters which werr absolutely delicious and then the green curry and red prawn curry. Very tasty and the service was very friendly and wonderful. A big improvement on the old management! However be warned rice portions are small, would like to see these slightly bigger We did all leave however very happy and complimenting on how tasty the food was. Looking forward to going again.
