The best restaurants serving American food in Glasgow and Surrounding

Fui con mi novio y pedimos dos hamburguesas. El chico que estaba en la cocina (creo que escuché a alguien le llamaban Denis) bajó la carne en la planta, se tomó en el y poner en pan de nuevo como nada hubiera ocurrido! (podía ver que causa que estaba en el bar esperando para pedir otra copa, y desde allí puedes ver la cocina). No podía creer lo que mis ojos habían visto sólo. Mi queja y dijo que estaba mintiendo! Esta ha sido la peor experiencia que he tenido en un restaurante. No volver jamás.

Nos sentamos afuera, lo cual fue agradable, pero la única desventaja fue tener que entrar para llamar la atención del camarero. Dicho esto, el personal era muy amable y educado. Las hamburguesas Dirty Dipper y Chicken KFC estaban absolutamente deliciosas, aunque la empanada de garbanzos coreana vegetariana estaba desafortunadamente bastante seca. Es un poco caro, especialmente porque las papas fritas se venden por separado.

Mucha gente local utiliza esta cafetería, así como los visitantes de la zona. El nuevo menú ha agregado algunas golosinas, como el pollo peri-peri. Siempre es bueno charlar con los clientes habituales!

Incredible prices. Great bar. Would go back.

Our waitress Lorn was really good , dealt with us so well and helped by going that extra mile to make a birthday celebration special! Superb service and top quality food as always

5 🌟 all round. Host Shash was excellent. Nothing too much trouble. Very positive, friendly and approachable, made us feel very comfortable and tended to. Fresh, delicious, mouth watering food and perfect portion sizes. Fast service, great atmosphere. Amazing value for money. Highly recommend! Good for all occasions and party sizes. We will be back. Glasgow's best burgers? Certainly on the list! Give them a try for yourself.

Extremely friendly service without being overbearing. Slight wait for food, which we were warned about on arrival, but it was absolutely worth it. Beer battered haddock was glorious and the chips were perfectly seasoned. The chicken and smoked ribs did not disappoint either. Kids are also catered for with a special menu, much to the satisfaction of our son. Drinks options were vast and not ridiculously prices. Very happy customers and will be back.

My partner, my friends and I came here on Sunday 18th May as part of my 40th birthday celebrations with my partner creating a Taskmaster theme for the day, something that the staff here were more than happy to oblige with!!! While having to wear a chicken hat for the entirety of our duration here was unexpected (as was having to make a chicken noise every time someone complimented my hat) it certainly made my birthday celebrations all the more memorable! Our group ALWAYS goes to Bucks Bar whenever we are together in Glasgow as we absolutely adore the food here and this day was no exception. Chose my favourite, the Big Smoke Mac Waffles, myself as well as splitting sides of coleslaw, popcorn chicken and fries with my partner and friends. Only complaint being that we couldn't finish it! And the drinks are always nothing short of exceptional at Bucks Bar. I swear this restaurant does one of the best Old Fashioned cocktails in Glasgow! Also very happy to see that, in the month of May, there was great offers on their drinks, including one of my favourites (Rekorderlig Cider). A very special shout out to Abby and Ava who were our servers that day, as well as Cal, Jake, Sam, Murray, Nick and anyone else who was in that day (and for complimenting my hat!) Thank you all and rest assured, we guarantee we will be back!

We have been before when visiting Glasgow and always enjoy it. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Food and service was fabulous, thank you.

This review is for my visit a few months ago and only just got round to do it! Steak was lovely and cooked to perfection!

Reservamos este restaurante como había visto cosas buenas en TikTok, sin embargo resultó ser shambolic. El servicio fue muy malo, nos llevó 25 minutos traer nuestras bebidas. Pedimos un arrancador que nunca nos trajeron. Luego, 50 minutos después, finalmente recibimos nuestra comida, que fue extremadamente decepcionante, por decir lo menos. Patatas fritas, bistec y macarrones con queso todo bastante sin sabor. No recomendaría en ABSOLUTO.

I think perhaps this has changed hands as looking at old reviews I can't reconcile with our experience...! Was looking forward to a good BBQ sandwich - was so basic with a soft long roll, kind of mushy shredded chicken and just a few squirts of BBQ sauce. With fries and a can of Fanta it was £13. Saddest nachos we've ever had. A real shame :( fries were fine so did give it 2 stars. I hope they can get back to what it seems it used to be.

The porn star martinis in August House are amazing. The service was fine, and the sweet potato chips 🍟 were excellent.
