Excellent food delivered by very friendly staff. This was our first visit but we are all going to return. All four of our party enjoyed the food.

Food was amazing I got the colonel who? Just the look alone was amazing the chicken was very juicy everyone was very polite couldn't be better in my opinion

Despite the rain, we had an amazing evening with a pleasant welcome and service at NYC Bar and Grill. It was truly fantastic and our host couldn’t be more helpful and charismatic with our food and drinks. We enjoyed our visit here during our stay in Glasgow and I recommend the cajun loaded fries and zombie skull up of cocktail😍😍😍. Thank you!

Here I am again. LOVE it here. I know am only one step from home. Food and service and ambiance is just what I want. You get the same welcome every time. I wish everyone could experience this. I feel comfortable and cared for and noticed and catered to. The food is brilliant, as are the cocktails. The staff remember you. How nice is that in a big city??!! Stay as long as you want. They make you welcome. And remember to get the Philly cheese spring rolls man. Epic

$6 cocktails were mind-blowing. There were 5 Kiwis in there waiting for our accommodation to be available and we liked the look of the place. Fantastic service and drinks and the menu is diverse and food really quick, fresh, and tasty. The music and atmosphere is funky and chill and you can hear yourself think. Really impressed highly recommend.

Very happy overall, arrived over 22 and kitchen was still open, had a burger and a chicken parm sandwich very tasty and generous portion, ask for some recommendation on locals whisky’s to the bartender and he kindly explained and showed to me all the types he have and his favorites, cocktails were good as well. 100% recommend 👌

Ngl Potions are gigantic, cheap and well put together. But the food ain't easy, like you won't look forward to the next bite. And when you are done, you ask yourself why.... Why did you even finish the food. Ps chilly cheese fries is alright

Another top notch feed. Four of us there and a mix of beef and chicken burgers, as well as some dirty fries. All superb. Tuesday was Wi g night so added some wings too (k-pop). Sun-Thu is 241 on burgers/dogs so scored there too 10/10 - left stuffed. Friendly service as always.

We visited here for lunch we were greeted by a lovely staff member who gave us good service throughout . We both had Manhattan burgers and we really enjoyed them , There’s a 2 for one deal on burgers which is a good deal as burgers were good and were quite big , We also ordered cheesy fries which we shared there was plenty of fries so we were glad we only ordered one portion instead of two as it would have been too much, We also ordered boneless chicken bites with buffalo sauce , We thought the chicken was okay but we felt it could have been better quality chicken however the buffalo sauce was nice as it was spicy, Portions were good our favourite part was the burgers , We also had some cocktails which were nice . We would return here.

Food was very tasty and plentiful. We did find the portions of filling a bit too much. There is a point at which it is so rich it starts to make you feel a little sick. But the quality was good, the prices fine and the service friendly. Cocktails were good. It is good food and drink, if you can handle the richness of the plentiful fillings.

Perfect for for pre/post theatre dinner or drinks if attending a show at the pavilion as its not far. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back

Was in tonight (Thursday) with my partner for a couple of cocktails! OMG THEY WERE AMAZING! 100% recommend the nuclear mojito! Service and chat from joe and Jasmin was amazing!! Will be recommending this place to everyone! Will be back to try something to eat next!

SOO AMAZING. Banger 2 for 1 burgers and dogs. Only thing bad was to toilet but let's be real who cares. The food was so good. And my girlfriend got the vegetarian option that she loved too. The sever jasmine was also great and got everything out super quick. The milkshake where also super great. Will absolutely be coming back here when I'm in Glasgow next

Here for the Super Bowl, ordered the buffalo hot wings and the salt and chilli fries, the food is incredible and it is all complimented with the excellent service from the staff. Highly recommended for the food, the staff and the atmosphere.

Very Disappointed with the visit here after reading some good reviews beforehand. Food wasnt great at all. Chicken was dry and the burger tasted terrible, the best part of our meal was the chips. Soft drinks weren't even served with a glass, just a straw! They also promote a 2 for 1 on Burgers but after checking receipt on way home, we noticed this wasn't applied.

A bar focused on sports with a good atmosphere. Simple but good food, without pretensions or luxuries, everything normal.

This place has a great selection of cocktails and shooters. It usually has tables free, centrally located, and also does good deals on food - wing night, hot dogs, etc.

First time trying and so sad I hadn't tried it earlier than this! I went for the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich and my partner went for the Buffalo Bill burger, both of them 10/10, especially the pulled pork on his burger omg, exceptional! We got half Cajun and half Buffalo wings, both of them amazing. Everything you see in the photo including drinks cost us just over £40, incredible prices! Will definitely be back and cannot recommend enough. Our waiter was so polite and friendly also! We went at ~2pm on a Friday and it was nice and quiet for those wondering what it's like on the weekend and don't like places too busy (me lol!). They have great deals through the week as well

The chicken wings were a delight and so were the burgers. The portions were very generous. The buffalo wings was so delectable. The girls made sure to keep checking in and they were being attentive without being intrusive. Everything was top notch and made the experience wholesome.

Claims to be accessible, has a small lip to get in, if you can get over that the accessible toilets are no good, stacked high with furniture so you can't get a wheelchair in and no working light.

This was my second visit. Took advantage of the 2 for 1 burger offer which is very good value. We asked for our burgers to be served on a plate rather than in their annoying baskets. Was told they only have 5 plates for their mac n cheese! However, they allowed us to use 2 of these. Please, buy more plates in case others would prefer to eat off them too!!! The burgers were tasty, as were the sweet potato fries, and chicken wings (10 for £3 on n a Tuesday after 5pm!). Their cocktails are tasty too.

Burger was very expensive considering it was overworked, probably used a burger press to make it since the meat was dense and rubbery. The onion rings on the burger didn't have the film removed so were chewy instead of having a nice bite and there was only one sad and floppy piece of bacon on it. Chilli cheese fries were decent however the fries were too thin and not crisp enough to hold up to the chilli so were soggy and floppy as soon as they reached the table. Usually I wouldn't rate this badly but the price is unacceptable for what seems to be very inexperienced chefs producing sub-par meals. Had the burgers been £8-9 each or included fries it would be a different story but burgers and fries costing me an arm and a leg then being below average is not ok. The waitress however was lovely, she was very good at answering questions about the food and was well mannered. She also served us promptly and made sure to only check in with us on the quality of the meal when we weren't in the middle of eating. Overall well the service was excellent the food was an extreme let down. Especially for such a well reviewed place. I wouldn't suggest anyone go here and instead would suggest to go to a similarly priced place such as bucks bar or thundercat which serve better American styled food at around the same price point.

I got incorrect and burnt to a crisp food

First time ordering with NYC and had high hopes. ordered a philly cheese steak which was a massive (inedible) disappointment. opened the box and was greeted with a sub roll filled with thin slithers of grey, unseasoned steak. no melted cheese or cheese sauce in sight. as I took a few bites I came across what I can only describe as the sweetest mush concoction of caramelised onions and peppers. so sweet infact it was more like eating a dessert than a sandwich. 2 bites and the rest went in the bin

We came here a few times as they have great beers and the atmosphere and service are nice. It's a relaxed pub so if you're looking for a posh place this is not it. If you're looking for tasty pub food, big portions for a great price, this is definitely the one. Because of all of these, this has now become our go-to place for a chill evening.

It might ha e been a bit quiet and la king atmosphere but they certainly made up for it when it came to both the standard of food and service. I will definitely be back.

So many delicious sounding choices on the menu. The burger was way bigger than expected. The Mac and cheese was extremely cheesy. Beers on tap and a decent drink menu. A great American bar & grill spot.

One of the top spots for comfort food in Glasgow! Affordable prices, delicious food and kind staff is all you need for a good night out:) I got the Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich, and the combination of steak, cheese sauce and vegetables worked heavenly! Also the chili cheese fries were LOADED! This place is not shy about their portions. I took leftovers with me home, and it’s just as good the next day too!

Ordered food on just eat to get delivered from here, unfortunately the just eat driver never showed up at the time stated and delivery time just kept getting pushed later and later. Called the restaurant after it had been about an hour & a half to check from their end and they were so apologetic advising they had the same information from just eat as me. I asked if I could come collect the food myself and they advised if I could cancel and get a refund from just eat for that order they would make me a fresh order due to the time it had been waiting. I done that and went to collect, staff were so nice. Will definitely order again. The food was great as always too! Mac and cheese with the chicken and chorizo is always very good.

Delivery was good, but food was a little cold. Can’t have been the drivers fault as I’m only 5mins from the restaurant and he was fast. Food was okay nice portion sizes and packaging was excellent. The food was really salty though. also a bit too much sauce on the food. I’d order again but ask for sauces separately so they can’t overload it. Overall an okay experience but I’d expect a lot more for the price as it’s it the premium range of takeaways.

Great chicken wings with various sauces. On tuesday there is a discount on Wings and you get each for 30p. Many choices of beer and other drinks and always superb music on PA. Will go there again:)

Having the notion for a burger we came across NYC on Hope St Glasgow. We ordered 2 Manhattans large fries and a side of buffalo wings. Have to say I am not a massive fan of burger unless in the mood but was not disappointed. Being early in the lunchtime it was fairly quiet but believe would have a nice vibe in the evening. The order came out at the same time and the food was good. If in the city and in the mood for burger check this one out.

Love this place my mate and I went here when we had a one day layover in Glasgow - in the heart of Glasgow and decently priced - really loved my THE RED HOT burger so big kisses to the chef and our strawberry daiquiri slapped so big kisses to the barman who made them 30p chicken wings on TUESDAYS £5 on selected cocktails 2 4 1 burgers and dogs **with the purchase of a drink each**

Great drinks and service was brilliant

Visited yesterday for lunch as we were in town for the Banksy exhibition. All 5 of us enjoyed a fantastic lunch, I am not a big eater so I opted for a kids. My grandson and the other adults had the lunch on special which they all enjoyed. We too had amazing cocktails and the barman who was on his own took time to chat with us and explain what the cocktails and beers were. One of my daughters has visited on a few occasions, this was my second visit and I will definitely return when back in City, the service and food was great and overall the lovely ambience about the place makes it a worthy visit.

Tasty wings. Good value. Friendly staff. Issue with paying by card (poor WiFi, wee bit frustrating, but they are working on getting it sorted).

Couldn’t eat absolute salt fest

Food arrived stone cold, but after a little grill time at home it was really tasty. Ball Park dog and chilli fries excellent. Would order again (and hope it arrives hotter).

One of the Best place in Glasgow for having burgers and cocktails.

I loved the pickles sides and the loaded chicken fries. The burger I ordered was good quality but it wasn’t so good due to the sauce. This sauce killed all the taste from caramelised onions, tomatoes and patties, making them taste only like this sauce that make all the burger taste to salty. I advice to change the recipe of the sauce or put less of it, because like i said the quality of the ingredients was good.

I’ve come to this bar since it first opened, probably around ten years and I gotta say. It is hands down the /BEST/ restaurant in Glasgow. If not the best burgers in the world. The service is amazing, the drinks are amazing, the food is amazing, the atmosphere is amazing. It has something for everyone, including vegan and vegetarian options. Their cocktails are fantastic and really reasonably priced for how strong they’re made. I no longer stay in Glasgow, having recently lived in the Highlands and now England and not once have I ever come home and not came here at least once for food. Please if ever considering coming here, whether local to Glasgow or visiting it is a must try.

We stumbled upon Jazzy Jeff and the NYC Grill! Both were great! Food was surprisingly dirty and 100% amazing! Perfect place for shots, drinks and food!

Great place with an amazing 2 for 1 lunch time deal. Pics are a chicken burger and hotdog. Place was a bit quiet due to works going on outside (completely out of the restaurants control) but was a great meal all the same and the staff were fantastic. Highly recommended!

What a great find! After visiting Glasgow for the weekend, we wanted to pop out for some food. I specifically had a hankering for a burger (and onion rings) so after searching numerous places on google, we settled for here! And how glad we did! We chanced our luck just turning up and hoping for a table (Friday evening, 6:30pm) and were lucky enough to get a table for 2. Service was great and the choice on the menu is amazing! I chose the Hog Burger with fries and my husband went for The Manhattan burger with buffalo chicken fries, along with some onion rings (which we definitely didn’t need haha). The burgers were INSANE, but I had to use my knife & fork because of how much there was inside!! All of the food came in American style baskets, which I would say could have done with doubling up the paper underneath. The only other feedback would be that the chicken fries had perhaps too much buffalo sauce on. But other than that, great service with even greater food! Very happy piggies indeed!

I was really enjoying my buffalo chicken Mac, until I found small chicken bones in it and I was put off it, I will still order again just maybe nothing involving chicken

Very friendly waiter ( everyone is nice in this city !!). Unfortunately the food wasn't very good, it was just a mix of steak with bread. There was no salad or anything green to have a balance in taste. It looks good but it's not and the 2 for 1 bitger is not worth it at all. The fries were McDonald's quality and are not included with the burger. We don't recommend the oreo milkshake, it was 100% milk and nothing else. The cocktail was good.

The best chicken wings in Glasgow

First class grub at great value.

Would highly recommend you visit if you're looking for a cheap spot to have chicken wings of all kinds of flavours. I could eat buckets of these in every flavour they offer! Oh and if you love spicy food, try the kamikaze sauce, it'll literally blow your mind away!

Overall the food was fair, the wings were delicious though, the service was very good, the guy serving us was very polite and helpful. Would go back again but only for the wings!

The food was really good, one of the best burgers I've had, chips just great, the price wasn't too bad either. There was table service, but not really good (didn't really ask us often if we don't need anything else), but that is not that much of an issue. The atmosphere is great too, and fitting (it is very retro and kind of reminds me of American diners, which is cool esthetics)
