The best restaurants serving American food in England

Brought my nana here for lunch around 12pm place was very busy but every member of staff was warm and friendly. Warned when ordering food there might be a 40 minute wait but that was made clear and there was a sign. Woman who took my order really friendly and upbeat. Smile on her face. Even when I asked for coffee at a busy bar she kept a smile. When I went back for extra sugar another lady handed it me with a smile. Food came out hot and cooked well in 20 minutes. BOGOF made it great value. Again servers were very friendly polite. Asked if we needed anything else. Attentive even when it was a busy rush. Lovely place for food although busy tables were spotless and the staff were working hard. I hope the pub bosses read this and commend their staff for making it a lovely experiance and the staff should be rewarded for the excellent feed back.

Myself and best friend had been to the cinema . And by the time we came out so we decided on frankie and bennys . And boy we were so glad we did !! Our server turned out to be a manager . And I must say ... what an asset to your business! Made us feel so welcome . My friend is very pedantic with food but with the recommendations given she cleared the plate . Thank you so much for making us feel so special ❤️ we will be back Our visit was on Tuesday 8th October xx

Have been to TGI’s many times in the past but not for a number of years. Was shocked when I saw the price of the dishes on the menu, very expensive compared to other restaurants. Was even more shocked when the dishes arrived & saw the portion sizes. They certainly do not justify the prices! Service - apart from being shown to our seat & delivered food, there wasn’t any. Food - was in all honesty terrible. Luke warm & lacked any real flavour. To top it all off my son was sick later that evening so I now question if his chicken was actually cooked!! Perhaps someone from TGI’s should take a moment to read the reviews as they are not good. I will never be returning.

Roast dinner was unappealing, not hot and made up of frozen veg and processed meat. Very poor quality and a waste of money. The dining chairs were discoloured, well used and some were torn. It’s a shame as the staff were pleasant enough.

We visited Clark’s Shopping Village today and went into Frankie & Benny’s for lunch. We had 5 adults and a 1yr old. We ordered 4 main courses and three starters to have as a main course. We were asked if we would like the starters as a main and we said yes. The starters arrived but none of the other food did. We were told they were just waiting for the chicken and the other meals would be out. We looked at the pass and could see a main meal there that was the same as one of the ones we had ordered, but we assumed that was for another table. 15mins or so passed and the main meal was still there. They then put the rest of our meals up and bought all of the meals to the table. We queried the meal that had been sat on the pass for ages. They apologised and said they would take it back. Under 2mins later they arrived with what they told us was a new meal. We queried it again and we’re assured they had done us a fresh one. The meal was for my 74 year old mum, she assured us the meal was fine, but she does not like to make a fuss so we were not sure. Mum only ate half the meal, as she was worried it was still the same meal and we have a 2 hour drive home. My hubby tried her meal and he is convinced they just gave her back the same meal, as it came out far too quickly. They reduced our bill but the looks we were getting from the staff were not good. Why did they not just bring us the meal when it was ready as we already had one meal

Las peores tiras de pollo y papas fritas que he tenido en TGI’s cuando se me preguntó dónde están las tiras a la camarera, la respuesta fue “ lo siento, eso es lo que viene en la bolsa” 🙄 nuggets

Cumpre. Comida bem confeccionada. Dose generosas e com sabor. Serviço friendly e atento. Preço razoável l. Muito recomendável para uma refeição ligeira.

Ambiente mortal Domingo por la noche Sin comida, sin alegría, poca gente. Oh, por diversión y ambiente. Nunca más, aunque sea en el centro de Woking.

Encantador lugar. Equipo atento. La comida y las bebidas eran increíbles. Vinieron por un cumpleaños y sacaron un pastel y cantaron. Experiencia brillante

This place is such a lovely place to eat. the food is fantastic and the staff are brilliant.they make you most welcome and they work very hard. it is such a shame you are closing your doors for good you will be very missed. Irene and Jack Whittle.

Overall my experience was perfect! Couldn’t fault a thing! Jennifer who served us was an absolute delight! She was so charming and very helpful with my partners picky eating! The food was tasty and we didn’t wait long at all for our food so hats off to Ryan and Mitch. Lovely little restaurant, we will definitely be back to experience some more of Jennifer’s charms!

The food great but the service so slow. Arrived for 14:00 and at 15.27 still here. No starter just main gave up on desert . Not very busy so not sure why so slow?

Segunda vez que vienes aquí antes de irte de crucero. Absolutamente encantador lugar, la comida es la mejor que he probado, entré directamente sin una reserva. El personal muy servicial y cortés, pasó un rato charlando con la camarera Izzy, ambos deliramos sobre el lugar. Este es mi lugar cada vez que venimos a Southampton. No hay palabras suficientes para expresar lo excelente que es este lugar.

Personally would not go there again unless with a party of people and would definitely reserve a booth. Waitress service was very good.

Front of house staff are nice. I ordered rump steak. I ordered medium rare. When I was served which was quick. I given a steak that was really bloody.the peppercorn sauce was really salty. We sent both steaks back. When we got our replacement it was the same and the peppercorn sauce was disgusting. Safe to say we will not be going back there.
