The food is amazing the best vegetarian food place I’ve eaten from will definitely order again

Came here with a group and had a great time. Good food. Good drinks. Nice atmosphere and environment. Would recommend 100%. Were really accommodating- especially when we were running a little bit late.

We visited here for a quick bite to eat before a gig as it was close to the venue and our transport links. It was quiet which is such a shame but it was early and mid-week. I’m glad though as it meant our food was served super quickly. We both had pizzas and I was pleased you could choose your own base. The pizzas were super thin but not lacking in taste at all. Really nice, fresh flavours. The mac n cheese pizza was a nice twist (we recommend the mustard base!) Our server was super friendly and helpful. There is seating upstairs and the toilets are in the lower ground floor down another flight of stairs so worth considering if you have accessibility issues.

Visited the A&H today having travelled 20 miles. Well worth the petrol money.. What a good pub? The menu is extremely appealing making choosing very tough. We visited on specials day when the cost of all of the steaks was reduced, my Ribeye by £10. Drinks are not expensive. When we arrived the car parks were full, always a good sign. The pub was just about full with a really buzzie vibe and we were soon asked for drinks. The food was excellent and well presented although it did take a little while to arrive it’s fair to say. This didn’t bother us as it was a reunion but you have to take into consideration this was lunchtime in a very busy pub. The food was well worth the wait though.. All the staff were friendly, well trained and knew their jobs. We were more or less the last to leave but at no stage did we feel hurried or pressured to leave. The bill? £70 per couple represents good value in my book. We were told this was a chain but it didn’t have that feel. Will definitely be returning. I think there all staffed are very good and they believe are too good .they know how to behave with clients and how to satisfy there clients and there foods quality is high quality and they provide clear and safety environment

Great food, fun place, and we loved Edward. Top bloke, really friendly and provided great customer service!!! 5-stars from us!

I will start with the positives which were the staff, who were lovely eg friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The interior design was nice and the place appeared to be clean and well maintained. The wine glasses were good quality. Unfortunately, what lets this place down is the food. The quality of the ingredients was clearly cheap and the general taste was just meh. I had a burger…which I would say was fairly unpleasant and my fellow diners had steak, and although they requested medium rare, it was more well done. Did we complain? No. Pointless as this is obviously the level of cooking ability they have, but we just won’t be back.

Ellie was the most amazing host and the food was out of this world. If you are in Newcastle you need to visit, the is a 5 star restaurant

I ordered the donner loaded fries which had one chilli 🌶 next to it on the menu (there were some items that had four), thinking it would have a little kick and I like that vibe. It was so hot I couldn't feel my lips or taste anything, I barely ate any of it. We also ordered onion rings and mozzarella sticks only to find that they were very basic rather than good quality ones.

Food was good! Vegan burger very nice. Partner says rump steak was really good!

Amazing food and vibes from this restaurant! The staff were super attentive and welcoming! Especially Cameron—he was always checking if the food was good and recommending stunning cocktails. We had the best time! I will definitely be visiting again, especially with that great playlist; it made our evening so memorable! 10/10!!!

My daughters (aged 7) and I eat here regularly when in town and always enjoy it. On this visit both kids had the mini burger from the kids menu but there was nothing mini about it! Great sized and tasty burger with fries and some cucumber /tomato. I had a goats cheese and pesto pasta bake with loads of peppers which was really good. Service was good and friendly as usual. We will be back!

Worst service and worst staff behaviour

Food was average, took longer than would expect to get the food. Not sure I’d rush back, and there is plenty of options in the immediate vicinity too.
