Anna, the brilliant waitress was just that.. Absolutely superb, fantastic experience, l recommended this restaurant highly ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Not as brilliant as I would have expected for a Gordon Ramsey restaurant. Starters were very nice (especially umami wings), main courses were decent but not standout (eg the fish was lukewarm). Overall not disappointing but not the best.

We were really looking forward to our meal here having travelled from Manchester for a weekend away. The location is great and the restaurant feels cozy. We ordered the Prime Rib for two, spinach and Mac and Cheese. We also tried a few signature cocktails. Our issue was inattentive service and cold food on arrival. There was a large group and I understand, having been a waitress for many years, that this can impact the kitchen. Our server never checked on us after our food arrived. I am sure if it had arrived promptly, it would have been a better experience. The evening was saved by the kind manager, Anna. She was sympathetic and as a result, I feel able to give a 3 star review. Was hoping for a 5 star experience, but I will say that Anna is a 5 star asset.

It was my first trip to London, so we decided to go to a Gordon Ramsay restaurant for the first time to try his famous Beef Wellington. The interior and vibe of the restaurant was modern and nice. However, the waiters were so-so. They will help you, but they respond very curt and I didn’t feel very welcomed. You could say that it’s because it’s busy so they don’t have a lot of time to spend at each table, but they could at least smile and pretend they like working there. You would think that employees at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant would be trained appropriately since they ‘represent’ Gordon. I work at a restaurant myself so I expected more friendliness from the employees. We ordered the tomato soup en chicken wings as starters, since the Beef Wellington would take 45 minutes. I really liked the tomato soup but the chicken wings were so-so. The Beef Wellington was worth its price since it was quite big for 2 people, but because of the starters I was already quite full after one slice. The mashed potatoes tasted good as well, but a bit too salty. We also ordered mac and cheese as an extra side, but we were so full, we only ate half of the dish. Overall experience was alright. Maybe I expected too much. If I visit London again I don’t think I would visit again. Maybe I would try a different Gordon restaurant but not Heddon Street Kitchen again.

A truly fantastic experience! First time in London and first time in this restaurant accompanied by friends. We shared an appetizer, a fillet Wellington including side dishes and a dessert with their own ice cream. For the fillet, generous portion, consumed by three people. Note of merit for the young, attentive and largely Italian staff. The only negative note was the espresso coffee, but undrinkable 😝 it was kindly offered. Downstairs, next to the bathrooms, there is a door with a large red question mark... Look for it!

Okay I’m going to be completely honest here. We were in London for vacation and I’m a huge Gordon Ramsay fan so we went here for our fancy night out. We got the full Wellington experience. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. The service was good. The food was neither. The Wellington was okay. I’m willing to figure we just don’t like some of the mushrooms used in the duxelles. The pastry used was clearly from a frozen package. The mashed potatoes were straight out of a box. Real potatoes don’t taste like that. They were horrible. The butter and cream never blended and they had the consistency of concrete. Real potatoes don’t taste that way. My home cooked ones are better. It was bad enough that we didn’t order dessert. Such a let down. I’d maybe eat here again and get something else but for $150 meal at a Gordon Ramsay establishment I expected so much better. Oh and there’s a speakeasy underneath it that looked super cool but was closed for a private event

I love the warmly-lit space; it feels like a temple to celebrate communion between people. We had superb service, led by Lidia. It’s amazing how great service will transform most any night into a perfect occasion. The food, in ways, exceeded my expectations. (Lots of times, recognizable chef-owner names don’t translate into consistently good food). But it was clear they cared. Thanks again, Lidia!

Went there for my girlfriend's birthday and had most amazing time! Food is gorgeous and out waitress Anna was amazing she is soo good at her job and deserves a pay rise! !

We had previously been in the Heddon Street Kitchen for drinks and my son got an ice cream, so after reviewing the menu, we figured it would be a good place for a casual dinner. Unfortunately, they are trading on Ramsey's name but I seriously doubt he has ever been there and has simply licensed his name. The food was bland at best, but honestly, it was simply not very good. Ramsey has approx. 90 restaurants using his name and maybe he needs to introduce some sort of quality control, rather than simply selling out. There are many excellent casual food restaurants in London, and this is simply not one of them.

We went for the set menu which is great value and everything especially the lamb ribs are amazing. There were a great collection of cocktails as well!

We went here for NYE’s menu and found the experience fast and tasty. We had a reservation which was confirmed and prepaid ahead of time which I found to be very organized. The atmosphere was nice and very festive for NYE and had a funny Ramsay portrait. The food was a smaller NYE special menu and the service was good. We were early for our reservation so we waited in the lounge with drinks for roughly 10 minutes and were able to order quickly. Food came fast. Standouts were the cauliflower veloute and the and the venison sausage with mash. The wait staff were speedy and observant and the bussers were quick. Great NYE experience!

Not as expected! RUDE girl cheking table at the front, destroying my mood for the evening (31 Dec 24). If you work in hospitality, you should be polite and friendly to customers even you don’t like them! I feel uncomfortable speaking with her! The food (personal taste) : starters tuna tartare is good, prawn cocktail has fresh taste. Duck salad has nice asian flavour, however, some duck meats are quite chewy. Beef Wellington is not good as I expected. beef is not tender. And the flavour is little bit bland. Sauce is so so. Spotlight belongs to Mashed potato. There are 2 friendly front of house staffs helping us with the order, the girl with blonde pony tail hair and a big big guy are super friendly (forgot to ask their names). Next time will try Beef wellington in another Gordon restaurant to compare. Not recommended!

An underwhelming experience. This place obviously trades on its name and doesn’t feel it has to try too hard. Food was distinctly average. Service was lacking and too slow, and the 15% service charge insulting. Staff need to up their game. Won’t be going back.

Eventhough we where very annoying guests, the staff was extremely patient with us and even offered us a compensation due to the butter chicken being too spicy (usually it’s shouldn’t be this spicy however still tasted amazing). Food wise I had the sirloin and while the taste was amazing there was a little lack of sear on the outside (crust). Overall I personally had a great experience mostly due to their amazing staff…

While the food was good, I absolutely consider this a beyond gimmicky, mid restaurant posing as a high end restaurant. Usually, when I spend a good chunk of money on a restaurant, I expect the service to live up to that price (about $350). Our waiter had horrendous breath, and most of the employees were of foreign nationalities with language barriers it, which led to misunderstandings and difficulties with recommendations and explanations. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with basic misunderstandings, but for the price I paid, I expected more. Then again, I suppose that’s what we get for expecting a lot out of a Gordon Ramsey restaurant. Takeaways, food was good, service was not, a bit too much money for the experience. Make of that what you will.

This restaurant boasts fantastic food, especially the steak, which was both delicious and succulent, easily ranking among the best I've ever had. However, the service was shockingly bad. I understand it was New Year's Eve, but many tables remained unoccupied throughout the evening. After waiting 20 minutes for our table, we were seated for at least another 30 minutes before we could place our order. Despite the abundance of staff, only one waiter seemed authorized to take orders. Our main courses arrived before the starter plates were cleared, and we had to repeatedly ask for our table to be cleared so we could order dessert. The entire dining experience dragged on for over three hours, despite the food arriving promptly. This level of service is inexcusable, and with young children growing tired, it unfortunately ruined our evening.

I booked this restaurant for an anniversary dinner and unfortunately it was a massive let down. I wish I had read some reviews before going because I definitely feel robbed. To start I had stated on my booking it was an anniversary dinner, we were seated next the toilets with a direct view of them. When we asked to move they said they didn't have anything available so after a chat we decided to leave, they then told us we could move tables and gave us a choice of two.The food was so not worth the price, we had prawn cocktail and rolls to start the rolls were rock solid and the prawn cocktail was mediocre but the real let down was the beef wellington. A lovely piece of meat but ruined by the bland cooking the mash that came with it was like packet stuff and we had a burnt horrible tasting macaroni cheese to go with it. Our waiter was nice but we were over charged and it took forever to sort out. While the staff were doing there best at that point I felt like asking for a full refund as we were both so disappointed. Do not bother going we went to a miller and carter the week before and that was much better for a bit less money!

I was invited here. Mediocre food, tiny portions, slow service, 15% service charge. Incredibly disappointing. Thank goddess I didn't pickup the bill in this mugging,....and the place was packed. The power of a celebrity name. I don't get it. How does this place survive? Nice looking restaurant, fabulous location.

Lovely Christmas work Dinner, staff were very accommodating and prompt with drinks. Resturant itself was decorated beautifully. Only 4 stars for food because although everything was cooked well the vegetarian options were a bit lackluster and all very cheese orientated. Would definitely recommend the chocolate fondant for desert!

I had lunch there today and a waitress was really rude to us. The restaurant opened with several menu items unavailable. The food had robust flavours but my wife and I had really bad food poisoning after. I'm not a picky eater, but I'd like to give Heddon Street Kitchen negative five stars.

The batter is crunch enough and tastes good but it was inappropriate for me to expect too much on Gordon’s kitchen especially for the overcooked Beef Wellington. Also tipping is NOT a thing in UK and in the menu mentions no OPTIONAL SERVICE CHARGE and abruptly the waitress brought up the OSC to my bill, the only thing I can do was to ask to remove the OSC (and it is also insanely baffling asking your customer to donate after the meal???)

We had a really lovely lunch as a family. They were great with the kids, food and service were all excellent. They even had a company with some activities for kids on a Sunday so you could enjoy your food.

I visited Gordon Ramsay Restaurant and ordered Beef Wellington. Beef Wellington takes 45 minutes to prepare, and between orders, I received food recommendations from our server Lidia and tried some of the other menu items. The server was very friendly, and especially when my wife told me it was my birthday, she prepared dessert as an event. Thank you for the server's kindness! Thank you!

Food was a hit or miss, starters were amazing, not so impressed with some mains. Dinner was incredibly slow going, staff tried to compensate which we appreciated but we had to give up on other stuff that evening because of the long wait.

Very nice atmosphere and the service was top notch. But the food was horrible, the chickpea masala I ordered was watery and without any flavour. Even the rice was moist and overcooked. Overpriced for the food quality.

I am still trying to understand why they had confirmed a reservation at the time that the restaurant was closing! We arrived on time in the time we had booked and double confirmed with them, only to be informed that we had to rush our order and even order dessert from the beginning as they were closing! As we were too tired to leave we stayed and had dinner but in the next 30 minutes they were starting to clean the restaurant and prepare for closing! I mentioned directly to them that the whole situation was very unpleasant and they did not charge us with service charge as compensation for our rushed dinner! Honestly the 12,5% couldn’t make our evening pleasant !!!

I recommend, warmly welcomed on New Year's Eve, the atmosphere is warm. Accompanied to our table by an English waitress Christopher quickly took over when she realized we were French. It's still easier to be advised by a French person. The fish and chips are really good and the raspberry mojito cocktail is excellent. We will come back if by chance we have another stay in London

Good morning, I would like to share my feedback on the magnificent Christmas Eve evening that we spent in this restaurant. As French people passing through London for the holidays, we were attracted to this place thanks to a recommendation found on a Facebook group. The atmosphere is both cozy and friendly, with a superb setting, although sometimes a little noisy. We had the nice surprise of being welcomed and served by a compatriot! A special mention for Christopher, whose kindness and attention were remarkable. The dishes were tasty, with very reasonable prices. As for the wine, we were generally satisfied with it. In summary, thank you for this delicious moment! We highly recommend this restaurant.

This is a spacious and modern restaurant. The food was delicious. The person who serviced us was unfriendly but professionally. We were seated at the table near the entrance, and it was probably the worst spot. We did enjoy ourselves. Definitely recommend the chicken wings and the chicken curry. The potions are standard size.

Ordered a sirloin steak. The sauce and chips were extra. The steak was very mediocre. The knife they gave me wasn't a proper steak knife and was not easy to cut the steak. There are much better value restaurants in London than this one.

As someone who genuinely hardly does reviews on restaurants, I feel tonight justified a review for Herron Street Kitchen. Unfortunately, the Gordon Ramsey establishment did not live up to the hype, especially with the service staff. To start, we had a reservation and was told the table wasn’t ready and could sit in a waiting area and could order drinks, which was perfectly fine. 20 minutes pass, and we did not get service for drinks and still no table. Fortunately, we seated shortly after but still disappointed as we had a reservation. Once getting to the table, we are rushed by our server to place drinks, starters and food all at once seemingly to expedite the table since they are already 30 minutes late on getting the table through. We place the entire order at once which placed a damper on the experience since it was rushed. Not 10 minutes later, our entrees show up and no starter. Luckily we were able to cancel the starter as there was no need for it. For the food, much was to be desired. For a sirloin steak, it was quite bland lacking anything you would expect from a Gordon Ramsey establishment as well as sea brean that also came out bland and cold. As for sides, the rice and mashed potatoes were seemingly prepared earlier and reheated in a microwave. Additionally, we noticed that we were the only table that did not have a candle lit, which is very minor but showed how attentive our server was for us. Luckily, one of the managers noticed and kindly helped how she could. When we expressed how the night was going, she seemed to discuss with our server to resolve what was going on but it seemed to only upset the server. When we were ready to pay and head out, the server seemed to ignore us where we waited almost 30 minutes to pay and she just placed the payment reader on the table without discussing anything with us. While confrontation isn’t anything anyone wants to deal with, it would have been nice to be pleasant to show respect to paying customers, especially with how much the experience cost. While Christmas Eve is always difficult and busy for restaurants, it was really disappointing to spend the evening at Heddon Street Kitchen. Hopefully this was only a once off occurrence, but we can not recommend this establishment, especially since the standards should be higher with a Gordon Ramsey establishment.

It’s been a dream of mine to attend a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, and finally I got to try Heddon Street Kitchen. My family and I were not disappointed, you can taste that the food is indeed fresh, flavourful, and prepared with care. We ordered the breadbasket and marinated olives, venison sausage pinwheel, fish and chips, steamed sea bream and the large Caesar salad for the table. Sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Thank you for making a few Canadians very happy.

Amazing service, food is delicious and well priced especially given the location! The Thai red prawn curry is a favourite as well as the spiced chicken wings!

Heddon Street Kitchen in Soho offers a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately draws you in. The exterior is beautifully adorned with pink / purple flowers, creating a charming vibe, and the interior continues this welcoming ambiance. Service by the French server Christian was attentive and friendly throughout the evening. For an appetizer, we chose the Caesar Salad, which featured a deliciously unique confit egg yolk dressing that elevated the dish. For the main course, we opted for the Beef Wellington (cooked to medium), which was flavorful and cooked well, deserving a solid 4/5. The steamed sea bream with bok choy and a spicy sauce offered a nice contrast with its light and slightly fiery flavors. We also tried the Idiot Sandwich, reminiscent of grilled cheese but filled with lamb—a creative twist, but didn’t stand out. Drinks were on point! Desserts stole the show. Both the Black Forest Cheesecake and Sticky Toffee Pudding were indulgent and perfectly executed, leaving a lasting impression as the best part of the meal. While the combination of food, service, and ambiance was enjoyable, the price tag—over $400 for four people—felt a bit steep for the overall quality. That said, it’s still worth visiting for the experience and unique menu.

I recently visited Gordon Ramsay's Heddon Street Kitchen for dinner, excited to use a voucher for a 3-course meal. Unfortunately, the experience was far from what I expected. Upon arrival, the lady at the reception informed me that I could only have a 2-course meal or use the voucher as monetary value. This was baffling, considering I had specifically purchased a 3-course voucher. To add to the confusion, she didn’t offer to take my coat or backpack despite the restaurant having a cloakroom service. I sat at my table with my items awkwardly crammed into the limited space available, waiting for my guest. When I asked another staff member about the cloakroom, he said the lady would collect my belongings, but no one ever came. I also asked the same staff member about the voucher issue, and he explained that the 3-course promotion was no longer available. If that’s the case, why is it still being offered on the voucher provider’s website? This lack of communication and clarity felt unprofessional and frustrating. Towards the end of our meal, a third staff member asked if we wanted dessert. She mentioned that dessert counted as our third course under the voucher. By this point, I was thoroughly confused. The miscommunication between staff members completely soured the experience. As for the food, the starters were delicious, but the flat iron steak was a let down. It was so tough and chewy, it felt like eating a shoe. It was incredibly difficult to chew. Overall, while the starters showed promise, the poor customer service, lack of organization, and a subpar main course left me feeling disappointed. A visit to a Gordon Ramsay restaurant should be a memorable experience, but sadly, this one was memorable for all the wrong reasons

Enjoyed a festive get together with friends at HSK this evening, it was the perfect central venue for us. Lovely atmosphere, great food and wine choices, with a sommelier if needed. Lots of choice for meat eaters and veggies, our group was a mix and we all really enjoyed the food. What will be most memorable for me though is the wonderful service we had all evening. The restaurant was very busy but our waiter, Christopher, was checking on us with just the right frequency, he was so friendly and professional - smiling all evening. We will return because of Christopher and his five star customer service! Thank you for a brilliant, easy evening.

Burger was best I have had. Sunday roast was really not very good and the beef was absolutely raw when it came out. Inedible. Fish and chips were average and I just didn’t taste anything. Crispy duck salad was excellent. 250 pounds no alcohol was way overpriced.

I had the pleasure of being served by Ionuț, and I must say he is one of the best waiters I have ever encountered. From the moment we sat down, his professionalism, attentiveness, and warm hospitality truly stood out. Ionuț knows his job inside and out—he anticipated our needs without being intrusive and ensured everything was perfect throughout our visit. His friendly demeanor and exceptional service turned our dining experience into something memorable. I will definitely return, not just for the food, but because of the outstanding service provided by Ionuț. He is a true asset to the team, and I highly recommend anyone to experience his excellent hospitality.

Nice enough restaurant. Menu has no dietary description and staff wasn't confident when asked. Also many items are incompatible with being changed e.g removing cheese etc. Nice policy that children eat free on weekdays which was good to see. Food was good, duck salad a little simple. Fries very tasty.

Went for a Christmas lunch with friends and was sadly disappointed with both food and service. We ordered from the festive menu and it took 45mins+ to receive each course, and we weren't told the usually free kids menu then wouldnt be free with the set menu either. I wasn't sure if it was something about Staff not being familiar with that menu as they were all very nice, but it was overall a very expensive experience for a slow and not particularly tasty meal.

The staff were fantastic, the wine fantastic but the steak was absolutely awful. If you’re charging £42 for a steak you expect it to be at least edible. Gordon Ramsay is on TV all of the time moaning about the poor quality of food at restaurants; maybe he should go to some of his own.

Great venue just off Regent street. Enough to keep the crowds away but not too far to sacrifice the atmosphere. This is a happening venue🙂

we flew to london and I was looking forward to eat at a gordon ramsey restaurant as I am a big fan of him, even though we had a reservation for 5 people, the table was set for 4. We ordered water and because they still did not bother to bring us another waterglass, we used a wine glass. after ordering drinks the waitress collected the wine glasses and spilled the water on my friend. so far so good. after ordering the food and they brought the starters, we had to ask for another set of cutlery. it is not that bad, but did expect another experiance. now getting to my point: the food was blend, my duck salad was super salty, swimming in soysauce, duck was dry and chewy and it had coriander on it, which was not mentioned on the menue. the staff was very nice and offered me to change the dish, but as the meals of my friends (chickpea masala, butter chicken, canelloni) were also not satisfying at all, I denied. they gave me a glass of prosecco, which was very nice. as soon as we paid a lady approached our table and told us we need to go to the bar because they would need the table (we were sitting there for 60 minutes by then). overall not a good experience and would not recommend this restaurant.

Finally! After many years of seeing Ramsay, we finally ate at one of his restaurants. We ordered the ultimate dish, the Wellington, and it totally worths it. The wait for it is for 30 min to 45 minutes, and we ordered a starter for the wait. We had the meatballs and we're also amazing but, if you really want to order the beef wellington we suggest to wait, drink water, maybe a cocktail because the wellington is just to much for two and we missed the chance to order a dessert.

Hugely expensive and disappointing. The food was very poor. Tasteless and cold. Over £30 for a roast dinner that we left and tasteless fish and chips. Disinterested service and waited ages for food to arrive No where near what I expected.

Restaurant looked lovely but didn’t find it anything special in terms of food or service and certainly not worth the price, it was all just really rather average. We had to ask for them to clear plates, remind them we needed dessert cutlery and the waitress didn’t cut a smile once. Overall left feeling rather disappointed.

Some of the food is average. Beef wellington isn't worth the price unfortunately. Lacking in seasoning. The crab starter was good. Overall very overpriced for what you get. Friendly staff. Cocktails were ok, nothing stood out as amazing.

Overall not a great experience. We arrived at 4:30 for dinner - we order the beef Wellington and at 6:00 they told us that something was wrong with the beef Wellington and they had to remake it And it would take 45 minutes. They shared that the pastry area did not communicate with the kitchen, however, they should have been noticed sooner than an hour and a half after us ordering. We were very disappointed. Some of the a staff did not care at all, but others were very apologetic. They comped our meal which was extremely nice, however, just not a great experience. The food we ate instead was just okay. Nothing great.

Years ago we had an excellent dinner here. Now experience was unfortunately rubbish vs. the price. Service was sleepy from she start, drinks came late when food was already half-eaten, person in the cloackroom was focused on her mobile instead of customers and didn’t hear a thing when we were leaving. Still the most dissappointing and surprising thing was the average food. What has happened here?

First time dining here and Lidia took very good care of us. She gave great recommendations (chocolate fondant for the win) and was very attentive during our meal. We enjoyed chatting with her abiut her life here in London. The ambiance was great and we had a wonderful meal. We were not rushed (we got the Beef Wellington) and we enjoyed watching people and supping in our cocktails until the main event.

Honestly the service was so nice great staff and so responsive. The place was so clean cozy and comfy. We have ordered crab on toast was good Chicken wings wasn’t good and smelly. And the famous Beef Wellington really was overrated the meat itself was poor quality the mushrooms coat was bad and the puff pastry was good. We’ve ordered two drinks were good. It’s really over priced. I won’t recommend it.

First time in London and had to try a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. The Heddon Street Kitchen was a fabulous choice. The atmosphere is delightful, the food was wonderful and Lidia was an excellent host. Great conversations with her and all of the staff were amazing. Thank you for a great time! Looking forward to visiting again soon!
