We held a private event at Sunday in Brooklyn in Notting Hill and were super impressed with all aspects. The staff could not have been more helpful and the food was delicious. Highly recommended.

No complaints at all! When we arrived on Saturday around 10-11 o'clock and there was already a small queue outside, but we didn't wait long and when we got inside, I really liked the interior and the atmosphere. We had really nice waiters and when we ordered filter coffee with the meal, we got as much as we needed and we didn't have to pay for a new cup! a big plus <3 The pancake was so heavenly good, but maybe you should share it between the two of you! it's so huge!

Salmon toast was great, but... that pancake... is such a disappointment. Its not a pancake but a huge dry cake. Couldnt understand the hype. And its enormous. And its 17 £ .🥴 We got 2 pieces option and it was a 4 person serving. We couldnt even finish the half of it. Understood that we should have done some prior research and do not expect normal pancakes.

The portion is generous. Would like to try the pancake next time.

Went for breakfast had the shakshuka, was very small and quite basic (most places add feta, labneh, avocado, pitta). The most disappointing was it was served with a focaccia style bread which was STALE and dry. For the price you pay the least I would expect is a fresh bread. I would go back again to try some of the other dishes out of curiosity as it has some good reviews but was very turned off by this..

The pancake was not the best tbh. The hot chocolate was good but the americano was sour. We werent asked if we enjoy the food or "how was everything?"

Nice brunch spot BUT... avoid the QR code pay option. With a 12.5% 'discretionary' charge already on restaurant bills in London, it was a bit galling to then be asked if you want to add an extra tip. Pay with the card machine directly and also save yourself the 0.99 fee for using the payment platform. Disappointed in this restaurant for treating customers this way. Ruins the otherwise 3.5/5 experience. P.S. avoid the merguez, they're terrible if you've had actual merguez. Pancake was great.

The staff are so accommodating and kind, the restaurant is beautifully lit and the food is great quality. Everyone is very professional and lovely - I’ve been to Sunday in Brooklyn for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and it never disappoints. I recommend going for dinner however as it is much less busy at this time, you can get the same menu for brunch, and it is a very relaxing vibe.

Very very nice experiences! The dish I had was delicious! I had the “crispy chicken sandwich” with kimchi…green orange juice and the traditional “cup of tea” Earl gray, so good! I recommend!

Certainly a new favourite brunch spot in London! We enjoyed a delicious brunch here today; the tahini and date banana bread, Sunday pancake and cilbir eggs were as flavoursome as they were beautiful. The vibe is relaxed, the service fast and professional. The only very slight drawback was that I had made a request with regards to the occasion, but this does not appear to have been looked at by the front of house (they had space so he didn’t check the reservation list).

We came here specifically for the viral pancakes. Honestly we were not expecting the size and I’m so glad it was recommended that we share one between the three of us. We ordered the “double” and it’s unlikely we would’ve been able to handle the “triple” on already full stomachs 😅. The pancakes themselves are so rich in warm gooey flavour. This is the perfect dessert for caramel lovers. Also the service at this place was surprisingly great, I didn’t expect all the waitressing staff that served us to be so friendly but it left an impression!!

I recently visited Sunday in Brooklyn and had a mixed experience. The food was quite good overall, with some dishes really standing out. However, I was really disappointed with the chocolate s’mores dessert; it was not only disgusting but also surprisingly salty, which was a huge letdown after an otherwise enjoyable meal. The service was another downside. It was incredibly slow, and the staff didn’t check back to see how we were enjoying our food. To top it off, our food arrived before our drinks, which made the whole experience feel disorganized. The only staff member who really stood out in a positive way was the hostess; she was friendly and welcoming. I had high hopes for this place, but the combination of the dessert and the service issues really impacted my visit.

Food is great! Interesting pancake. And the shakshuka is top notch. However, our refill coffee was not refilled. Staff barely checked on us. All the staff did seem busy. Maybe understaffed.

As a Turk, if you have had breakfast in an ordinary place in Istanbul, it is unlikely that you will be satisfied with the breakfast there. We came from the airport with excitement and tried the famous 'cheddar scramble', but the potatoes smelled of embers and the oil in the egg was very bad. It had no features. Frankly, I was surprised by so many good reviews and this lack of taste. Also, 23 pounds for a filter coffee and a scramble egg was quite expensive for this taste.

I came here with my friend this past weekend for brunch, and we had such a great time! The place has a lovely vibe with good music, and the food and service were excellent. We kept our brunch light to make room for their famous pancakes, which did not disappoint. Definitely a great spot to check out!

Very cool brunch place and great service

Sunday in Brooklyn is my favourite brunch spot. I took my husband there for his birthday and he loved the food and drinks. My favourite dishes are the pancakes, chicken burger, caesar salad and cheesecake! It’s a lovely venue with a great ambiance. You won’t be disappointed

Nice place where to enjoy a Sunday brunch.

We were greeted by a lovely lady at 8.30 am today. Servers took our drinks promptly. We were quite indecisive about food because we have never been in this place before. Our choices were fine apart from pancakes. They were like cake not pancakes. The taste of it reminded me of burnt sugar. Hazelnut was overpowering the whole cake. I missed directions from waiter while ordering double pancake. The size of pancake is bigger than a large plate which it did not help …Additionally ,brioche bun did not taste like it at all. Having said that the prices are not reasonable for what you order(nearly £70 for two). What is more, the facilities and interior are clean, well-presented and spacious.

Sunday in Brooklyn in Notting Hill has a great vibe—warm, welcoming service and a lively yet relaxed ambience. The portions are huge, so plan accordingly! The Sunday Pancakes are delicious but massive—definitely share unless you're really hungry. Highly recommend the omelette, shakshuka, and cilbir, all flavorful and well-executed. A great spot for a leisurely brunch.

The Steak and Eggs were amazing and service was exceptional! The atmosphere was a bit of a let down; felt cramped and way too crowded. The layout of the spot needs some slight improvements to make it feel less cramped!

I went there to eat my breakfast and I will start with the service which was good. The food the Sunday pancake is really good I never try pancake like that and it’s one of the biggest pancakes I have ever tried it it’s big and heavy.

NYC style with Brooklyn vibes! brunching at SIBs is always a great idea on the weekend! We didn’t try their famous pancakes this time but ordering the cheddar scrambled eggs with Sunday style potatoes and avocado I feel is by far their best brunch savoury dish! Well cooked, fluffy eggs and tasty items , it’s a delight and keeps you full up in the afternoons. We also ordered their smoked salmon brioche with cream cheese and poached eggs which was also such a delightful combination of smoked and cheesy flavours. I feel they are also really reasonably priced for the location and are very generous with their serving sizes too. All in all this place is a great brunch spot with a nice buzz to the atmosphere indoors alongside some really amazing service as well. After this you can stroll down portobello road for their weekend market or just sip a coffee at some local cafes in Notting Hill!

Over rated as branch place. I asked for a sandwich with bacon and cheese without the extra staff they had on the menu. I didn't ask for discount.They ended up bringin burned cold toast in pieces and, graded cheddar cheese. I asked for a slice cheese so I can make my sandwich and the sheff said that they don't have it. This place looks fab on instagram but don't be fooled. The service was abysmal, it is FREEZING inside. The decor reminded me of a cheap canteen... furniture is cheap, tables so close together and no artwork or anything on the walls. They're trying to be cool with audio tapes playing in the loo but theres like no storytelling as to why this is... so it just feels jarring. The toilets are so dark I was looking for the light, to realise - they're meant to be that dark. Food was sub par - small menu. avoid if you can

All around 5 stars! Chris was our server and made sure to keep us happy. The starters, mains and desserts were amazing (would highly recommend the Chicken Yummos). The restaurant itself is so gorgeous and comfortable. The pricing is very reasonable for the quality and taste of the food. If you haven't been here, put it on you're list it will be worth it!

Nice aesthetics, busy, reasonably attentive staff so a plus, but unfortunately biggest downside is the food. Breakfast was underwhelming despite looking as though it will be really tasty. Brioche with ricotta and blackcurrant just didn't work. Brioche dry and flavourless, ricotta too runny/much. Maybe mascapone works better. Bacon slightly burnt and low quality but the egg was nice enough, again, potatoes lacked any detectable flavour and the spicy sausage ironically was bland. All in all won't be back as it just seems to be overhyped. The name of the restaurant also doesn't seem to match the menu. The quality of food/taste just isn't there.

Beautiful environment, good service, on the other hand food level and price not great, a sausage hamburger not very big, a very small avocado toast and I'm not talking about the so-called pancakes…. Which is anything but a pancake, a mistake to sell it as pancakes, and the icing on the cake, a bill of 72€ for it… well, suffice to say that we took a nice bowl. I don't recommend it, I paid less and ate much better in New York.

This place is such a vibe , it plays some real good tunes to keep an upbeat and vibrant atmosphere. Really worth a visit , the food itself is fresh and good quality.. but I do think the portions are small and lacks flavour. A big shout out to our waitress which was so attentive and friendly her name started with a K ..

I had the pleasure of dining at Sunday in Brooklyn recently, and I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the outstanding service we received from our waitress Gia, From the moment we arrived, she was warm, welcoming, and attentive, truly making our experience feel special. As it was my birthday, I was genuinely touched when she surprised me with a delicious birthday ice cream. It was such a thoughtful gesture that really made the afternoon. But the service didn’t stop there! When my partner accidentally spilled his drink, Gia quickly offered to replace it and even did so free of charge. Her kindness and professionalism went above and beyond any expectations we had. It's rare to experience such excellent customer service, and Gia truly made our evening memorable. Thank you for making my birthday celebration even more special—we'll definitely be back soon!

Delicious and very pretty. The atmosphere is super nice and cozy and the food is very delicious, maybe a little expensive but it's worth it to treat yourself. We ordered avocado toast and eggs sandwich with a coffee and water. The truth is that we were full. Recommendation: go with a reservation, we went without a reservation at 11 in the morning on a Saturday and we had to wait a little, but on average you can wait 1 hour. The waitresses are wonderful :)

We had Anastasiia R as our server and she was excellent. So friendly and attentive whenever we needed anything! I would really recommend it here for delicious brunch food.

On my trip to London I made it a point to stop by here after seeing the pancakes on Instagram. We didn’t make a reservation the first time and waiting about 30 mins to be seated because it was a busy Saturday. Despite the wait, our server Anastasiia was attentive and took our orders for drinks and food quickly. The food was amazing and we never had to flag down our server as she was always right on time when we wanted something. We ended up coming back again!

Breakfast set is quite nice. I could only try one dish here. I saw people ordered Pie, it looked nice as well. I think it is pricy compared to what you get overall. You need to wait in line a bit. It is not that long if you are not in large group.

Ended up at Sunday in Brooklyn on a lovely Sunday for some snacks. It was late afternoon so wanted order something savoury and sweet. Ended up ordering hummus with pita bread and the famous Sunday pancakes. The hummus was good but the pancakes were amazing. Keep in mind the serving for the pancakes is massive and despite loving it we weren’t able to finish them between two people (who were extremely hungry) - so best order a single. The pancake was unlike anything I’ve had before, thick and fluffy but incredibly moist and delicious. Interesting to note it kept getting better over time. Absolutely delicious! Having said that the standout for me was the ambience and the service. The staff was super nice and the whole atmosphere of the place was really worth coming back for again!

It’s been one of my favourites ever since I moved here 3 years ago and today I must say I’ve had one of the most wonderful services given by Marcus. The positive attitude, attention to detail and kindness made our experience the most pleasant and unforgettable. Sam was very attentive as well as always.

Probably the best place for brunch in London. We ordered avocado toast with eggs and smoked salmon and it was the best breakfast choice! Excellent full flavor! I wouldn't change a thing. The staff is very kind and ready to help! Better make a reservation!

I was here with a big group of friends for brunch/lunch and we really enjoyed it. I had a great vegetarian burger and my friends were also happy with their meals, especially the Shakshouka. The waitress was really nice and attentive. I will definitely come back.

I had the cheddar scrambled egg with merguez sausage, and it was a tasty dish. I ordered an Americano, while my friend had a latte. Both cups were the same size, but while the latte was filled to the brim, the Americano was about two fingers short. When I asked why, they said lattes are completely filled because of the milk. I found this odd because I specifically ordered a black Americano with no milk in the first place. It may seem like a small issue, but even Starbucks wouldn’t make such an oversight, especially considering the price you’re paying at this place—it’s something they should pay attention to. We also ordered the Sunday pancakes, but honestly, they were more like a nut-flavored cake than pancakes. I wouldn’t call it a pancake by any means.

Packed. Really long queue. Small portion size. Rude maitre’d - was being difficult about seating an extra person and said there was no room and wanted us to leave and forfeit our table. The bar man solved the problem by getting us a chair from the bar. Didn’t have to be so difficult. Won’t be returning.
