Service and greeting excellent, tabke very neet and clean, wine and drinks menu, avaliable immediately. Wine selection excellent, we had a Stellebich pilotage, seved and pour, allowed to taste. Starter Wagyu Tartare. Wow Main ribeye, hospital. Cabbage and triple cooked chips. Very well worth a visit

Delicious dinner of mainly vegetarian dishes. Service was great however the restaurant lacked atmosphere as it was so quiet.

From the moment we entered, everything was wonderful. The drinks at the bar were lovely, especially the Chocolate Indulgence, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. The food was excellent, with highlights being the truffle and ricotta agnolotti and the miso mushrooms. Our hostess Antonia especially was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to answer all our questions and more!

Food is good, but not better than any other restaurants in the area. Disappointed about the excessive price - average £100 per head for an average experience.

As a vegan, I didn't have any options on the menu, but the staff were very accommodating and made me a vegan 3 course meal. I appreciated not having to wait for my meals... which arrived at the same time as the others, which hasn't happened in similar restaurants before. But I must say it would be good to have some vegan options on the menu. And the dishes could be better- the quality of my charred hispi dish and chocolate brownie could be better. I enjoyed the starter. Friendly service.

I attended a corporate hospitality event so my experience was unusual, but I was very impressed. The food was excellent, particularly the rib eye steak, which is difficult to get right when 200+ people are eating the same dish The brownie was also top class. The staff were slick and accomplished and the decor stylish. The high tech Japanese style toilets were a bonus.

Shocking service and an average steak. Staff had incorrect information and poor understanding of allergens. Service was incredibly slow. I’ve had steak as good or better for a fraction of the price. Incredibly disappointing experience alround.

Mixed review which was rescued by Elizabeth, waitress and the Operations manager, Matt. Service started off quite poorly when we met the front of house reception team, whom were disgruntled in particular the young woman with black hair, receptionist 1 whom was not happy carrying the bags back to the cloakroom. When Sat at the round table - it was very rocky and unstable, any pressure on the side of the table had a risk of causing damage and unsettling comfort for others eating food. We raised that to the other receptionist whom seated us whom she mentioned she will get it addressed and she did not return to support. We escalated this again with another lead whom was wearing a blue suit and he just said “we can’t do anything” and was quite rude, therefore us to deal with it as he didn’t care, was quite surprised on such service. As he walked off and didn’t address the corners, the other guests were getting quite unhappy about lack of attention on the table, whereby we raised escalation again and fortunately operations manager, Matt intervened professionally and offered a few options, eventually offering a suitable table allocated for us. Service continued whereby we met an exceptional world class service by Elizabeth, whom was articulate, passionate and knowledgeable of the steak. Her excellent customer service reminded me of the world class experience I would receive in top restaurants in Dubai and Los Angeles. The starters and steak were superb, however the dessert was underwhelming. Nevertheless we admired the effort by Elizabeth to maintain a top quality service. Unfortunately the night ended poorly when a few guests raised questions on a few ingredients out of interest on the dessert, whereby the original receptionist 1 rolled her eyes and raised an eyebrow when overhearing. The team felt a bit intimidated by some of the staff such as the receptionists, for example one guest went to the male bathroom but was asked to leave by a blonde pregnant receptionist because she had to clean the sink. Many of our guests didn’t feel comfortable by a lot of the staff members excluding Matt and Elizabeth. This was personified at the end when the receptionists were reluctant to bring our bags in particularly waiting to leave at the lobby, with a sarcastic grin. I am shocked and disappointed by the customer service, some guests felt disgusted as one had a previous incident of a receptionist called Elina telling to call the restaurant after lunch service because she’s busy. Despite the food best mostly great and supported by the likes of Matt, Elizabeth and Daniel (reception manager), the front office staff were very unprofessional and didn’t care about customer service, therefore I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

Marie the manager and Ryan were absolutely amazing! Made us feel absolutely spoilt. The food was of exquisite quality with flavours bursting in your mouth! Definitely recommend the wagyu tartare, the dumplings and the Beef Wellington. I came in for a business dinner and the staff were so attentive, it truly felt like a luxury experience. Brilliant - will be returning!

Amazing service, food was great. The music was a bit too loud for my personal preference but otherwise the atmosphere was very nice. I ordered the shio koji-marinated chicken, Hispi cabbage and the miso mushrooms and they were all delicious.

Me and my partner decided to try M during the xmas break. We were very pleased with such a lovely, friendly but professional service from Daniel and Freya. They suggested playing roulette which was a good entertainment and also we were lucky with our spin. We were celebrating our anniversary and we were given extra brownie which was so adorable from staff. Daniel also showed us around restaurant and event rooms. We may consider hiring a room for our company events too. In conclusion we had very pleasant experience and definitely will be back

Disappointing! Attended a networking breakfast, ordered a 'hot' breakfast being the poached egg and avocado on toast. The avocado was pureed and did not taste fresh. The poached egg was cold and toast hard! Would not come back again.

We had a perfect evening there. They're dog friendly, which was perfect for us as we brought our dog on vacation with us. They all treated the three of us (yes, dog included) so well. The restaurant itself is beautiful, the music was great and the service was incredible. It was really fun seeing all the special things people got with their food, like the steak roulette. They really want everyone to have a wonderful time there. The food itself was amazing. The meat was beyond perfect, but what really blew me away was the hispi cabbage, definitely recommend that! We'll go back there when we visit London again ❤️

This review is purely directed at Elena who was on hand for my friend’s birthday dinner yesterday. Her customer service Was impeccable, she did not hesitate to help in any way that she could. She was thorough, kind and very patient with us considering it was a big group. I believe she’s an asset to the M ThreadNeedle Street branch and she deserves all her flowers. On another note, the food was okay, I believe the restaurant is best suited for the ambience and drinks which were both lovely.

Good place for meat lovers. The steaks and beef Wellington were great and cooked to perfection. I also really enjoyed the starter of wild boar tortellini. The service was a bit slow but to be fair the restaurant was quite packed.

We have been to this restaurant many times over the last c2 years for The Sporting Club functions. I’ve lived and traveled a lot over many years and found this restaurant to be one of the best ever. Keep it up and many thanks.

Toni was our waiter for the massive group of 12 girls in pink and she did her think, unapologetically. She held it down and kept it professional and was a pure vibe.. we couldn't tip her, but Shoutout Toni🥰

Visited with a large group of family & friends for a family reunion. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and the ambience great. The waiters didn’t smile at all and could do better. When serving us water, it splashed all over the table and the waiters didn’t apologise or return to wipe the table. Service was very slow, the food was nice but the starter that some of us ordered (trout) was a rip off - 3 tiny strips which you could eat in one go! The rest of the meal was ok, though there were very limited choices on the set menu offered and it was very pricey. I have had better and tastier meals in similar restaurants which were not as pricey therefore I would not be returning to this restaurant.

Walking into M Threadneedle Street, you instantly get good vibes. It's got this cool, elegant feel but still super chill. The staff? Absolute stars - they know their stuff and make you feel right at home. Let's talk food - it's amazing. You've got all these international flavors, and everything's like a little piece of art on your plate. But taste-wise, it's even better. Especially the steak - oh man, it's a must-try. Cooked just right and so flavorful.

M is out there with the top restaurants that I have ever experienced, Dani made the entire experience perfect for me and my girlfriend. He made sure everything was perfect from his attitude to his service. The food was exceptional, the menu and food is exceptional and I will 100% will be back again.

A really nicely decorated restaurant with a buzzy atmosphere and good service Food wise really good particularly if you like your steak. Have an interesting concept of ‘spin the wheel’ where for a set price you can either win a rump or filet steak or if you are lucky a wagyu steak. Overall would seriously recommend you visit. Not a cheap option but quality of food and service is top notch.

Bit of a mess. Our waitress was lovely, but it was obvious she was serving way too many tables. The food was pretty good, but it felt like nothing went right. Our starters arrived and we had to remind them about the bread (quickly fixed). Our mains arrived and we had to remind them about our drinks we ordered when we first got there (it was just coke, I said no ice it finally arrived with ice). The steak arrived with no sauce and by the time we flagged someone down for the sauce the steak was cold. We asked three members of staff if the chips were coming (after asked we’d see them running around doing other stuff and actively avoiding coming past our table again) and finally they came… much adter we had finished the mains. The door was constantly opening and closing giving a frequent cold blast through the restaurant. The food was decent (especially the waygu fried chicken) but we basically had to beg for every piece of it to actually be bought to the table. I’ve never removed service charge, and still didn’t because our waitress was lovely, but this is the closest I’ve come to wanting to. It was shambles for a meal that was around £90 per person. I really regret coming here, it seems there was way too little staff for the amount of people and the guests are the ones who have to pay the price for that

Great knowledgeable service The LACED WAGYU DUMPLINGS were Amazing and the ETHICAL BEEF WELLINGTON was very good. Not the quietest place for dinner but it was not a major issue.

Booked the Wagyu Room for a surprise 30th birthday celebration. Let me start by saying the event manager, Lucy, who handled the booking was GREAT however everything went down hill when it finally got to the big day. There were 17 guest in total which is understandably a large group however I expected that could handle a group of this size, I severely underestimated their abilities. The food was cold, steaks not cooked to specifications so returned to the kitchen only to still be cooked wrong, everything was highly oversalted and quite frankly inedible. A majority of my guest actually didn’t even attempt to finish their food at all it was so bad with 2 of them actually left early to eat elsewhere. So I guess that tells you everything you need to know food wise The bar next to our room was out of service, so drinks were being made downstairs which would have been fine but they were out of every ingredient possible so it was slim pickings on cocktail orders. The service was SOO slow, sometimes waiting up to 30 minutes to get our orders. My guests resorted to going downstairs and just order their own drinks instead of waiting for the staff to take orders. I could go on and on but just know that this is not the place to go to for celebrations. The birthday girl was absolutely devastated which ruined the whole point of the night and I think that’s what was the saddest part. I understand that things go wrong as we’re all humans however I contacted the restaurant back in October to express my disappointment and after chasing this up multiple time, just for some acknowledgment I finally got a response from Artur the General Manager about a month later offering to rectify things however upon emailing back I’ve had no response since, so here we are. Long story short, for £60 -£70 per head I would AVOID AT ALL COSTS and spend your money elsewhere.

I booked this restuarant for my Daughters 24th Birthday and to be honest I was disappointed 1. Our table was very close to other tables, the servers that passed constantly were having to be careful when passing, as the space was tight 2. It took longer than expected to take our food order. But the restuarant was very busy. 3. We were asked if we wanted bread for the table, which we did, but did not arrive, had to ask again 4. Bread was small per person very dense, not a fan to be fair 5. We had to return the chicken starter, as some of the meat was pink inside and I doubted the quality to be honest. The waiter was excellent and took it away to be replaced. He returned shortly after and said the reason it was pink is because it is soaked in brine for 24 hours and that the kitchen was going to ensure cooked 'well done'. I have never heard of this before. Surely Chicken is either cooked or not! 6. Underwhelmed with £60 fillet steak. This is probably due to being well done. But, I always had my steak this way and experienced much better elsewhere. Even the broccoli was not nice with hard square lumps of cheese. 7 Given it was my daughters birthday, it would of been nice for some sort of recognition. But sadly no ackwledgement at all. The positive was my husband and daughter enjoyed their steaks, husband said the rump steak was best he has had. I think I choose badly, as other meals coming from the kitchen, looked a lot more appealing then mine. Unfortunately, it is not a place I would recommend or like to visit again Tracey

Had the beef wellington and it was excellent. The best we’ve ever had by a mile and would definitely recommend it. We were also lucky enough to be served by Leonardo who was extremely attentive and kind throughout. Great experience and 10/10 service.

I attended the Guide Dog brunch, superb food and a great atmosphere. I cannot praise the staff enough especially helping those visually impaired amongst us making everyone welcome.

As a Guide Dog Owner,I would like to show my gratitude and thank Martin for his hospitality and generosity in hosting this special event. I would like to thank all the staff,they really looked us after throughout the day.Nothing was never too much trouble for them. I would like to thank the chefs,the food was absolutely amazing. Lastly a big thank you to Dave and Larry for everything.

It was a truly amazing experience for all of us and your generosity and warmth was without bounds. The fabulous food and fabulous staff really did make this a day to remember for me, my wife and for everyone who was there. Also huge thanks to Dave and Larry for organising this.... you rock!

Well what can I say? Blown away by the food, ambiance, friendly and attentive staff. Thank you Martin - from a long standing PR - the one with the GSD, he tried very hard to keep out of the way!! 50 dogs and over 80 people.

One great dish, rest simply appalling. The ceviche, which was not really a ceviche, was very good (more a fish carpaccio). The first two dishes served too fast, so there was no space on the table, but then it took a while before the main course. My main course was way too salty, full of sauces w. a burnt flavour, not nice. Shame to the sacrificed chicken. And the dessert, was a joke. A hard flavourless jelly, covered with cream and then popcorn. A major insult to the mazamorra morada. The waiter was very nice and attentive.

My husband and I went here for dinner and the food was lovely. Their steaks are amazing 👏. We were served by Leonardo who was so lovely and kind helping my husband with his food intolerances. The only thing we were not happy with is another male waiter being really rude to his female colleague, literally snatching menues from her hands. We did tell Leonardo about this who said he would raise it with a manager.

Super food and super service. Great upbeat music in the background and the staff are all very attentive. Huge shout out to Leonardo who understood all my food intolerances and was so helpfull making sure i didnt order something wrong for me. He was very patient and listened ro everything, even when i ordered a cocktail i thought would be fine he checked and suggested something else. Keep up the great work team!

Topservice, vanaf binnenkomst aan de bar tot het vertrek. De kelners snappen hier wat ze moeten doen. Echter laat de keuken steken vallen, als voor gerecht kozen we gerookte wagyu tartaar en een waguy nduja worst. Beiden van goede kwaliteit. Jammer was dat we nog aan het eten waren en dat het hoofdgerecht al geserveerd werd. Wij bestelden een rib eye aan het bod en deze viel enorm tegen omdat het vlees taai was en geserveerd werd met jus driping saus, welke als water smaakte. En dat als er maar 4 tafels op een vrijdag avond zitten..... En de rekening viel dan ook best fors uit.

Amazing atmosphere with a central location but the food didn't match the expected standard. The starter which was a salad tasted bland. The steak was well prepared and best part of the dinner. The cheesecake was subpar. The drinks are very expensive.

Private room good but underground so felt a bit like a 'bunker". Service great - girls were attentive and helpful. Food was tasty but some starters very small (tuna sashimi tiny) and desert a bit unnecessary. Overall - good night in the city

I came here for my anniversary, the service was incredible and this was certainly fine dining. The atmosphere was nice, for a work event or special occasion, but maybe the music was loud and a bit too upbeat for me and my husband. The food was great. We did the steak roulette and were happy with what we received, although I think my steak was a little too charred on the outside. For our anniversary they gave us a little surprise of non alcoholic bubbles (as we weren't drinking) and a chocolate/nutty treat. I would come here again, but please be aware that this is fine dining, therefore quite pricey and justified!

26-Jan-23: Huge restaurant with private dining space downstairs. Food was mediocre and overpriced for what we received. Service was good and we still had a nice evening getting sloshed on a business account ☺️ but I wouldn't choose to return.

So good! We had seen it online loads and decided to try, being younger than the others in there we were unsure of service but was so friendly! Elizabeth made us feel so welcome she was very accommodating and so funny and really knew the food. Food was so so good. Spend around £100 each including drinks and 2 starters and 3 mains and sides. Would definitely come again also a massive selection of wines :)

Met for a business lunch. Overall it was okay - the restaurant was quite empty when I entered around 12:30 however it did get busier as lunch progressed from 1pm onwards and the atmosphere picked up. Great decor, beautiful interior and the staff were friendly. Pool table upstairs which could be good for an evening get together. Food - the waiter was very helpful in recommending the most expensive items on the menu straight off and also recommended we should share the 1kg beef dish which felt excessive for a light lunch @ £149.50. It was again the most expensive dish on the menu for sharing if you didn’t want Wagyu which is £250. I’m not a fan of being recommended the most expensive dishes on the menu without even asking - it felt wrong and a little pushy. I must say there is a great variety of Wagyu starter dishes if you like Wagyu. We settled for a fillet steak at £55 for the steak. Sides were extra. Everything felt very expensive. The food arrived very quickly. The fillet was delicious and very well cooked I have to say. On the other hand the M triple cooked chips were not - they were cold and tasted like reheated chips, soggy and inedible. Very disappointing to go to a steak house and find one of the items was so bad. When our food arrived we were immediately asked by the manager who came over if our food was to our satisfaction to which we replied we haven’t picked up our knife and fork yet. We will let him know when we’ve tasted it. So 2nd stage service was a little bit too eager and my colleague mentioned that the person who came over to ask how everything is, obviously hadn’t spent any time to look to see if we had started. A sign of him really not caring. An observation… Again the people serving were very pleasant, the atmosphere ok but wouldn’t go back as I felt that the only thing that was of interest to the business was to take as much money from us as possible for an okay meal.

I love coming here from breakfast it’s my go to! And I go a lot, it’s a great place with great staff. However there was a recent menu change, my favourite firecracker eggs with Chirzo has been changed not the price that’s seems to be the same, now if you want the chirzo it’s an extra £3! Whoever decided that was a good idea major fail!

Plenty of space between tables and a great ambience with lighting at just about the right level and with music not too invasive. Staff were extremely polite and professional and with a smile on their face. Food was delivered within a reasonable time and that was the main highlight. The wagyu dumplings were to die for and the rib eye was cooked to perfection. A great overall experience and would highly recommend for business events or couples. A great find

First time eating here (Friday lunchtime). It was quiet but that didn't detract from an outstanding meal. Starters were generous and unusual. Scotch egg was stand-out as was the Japanese pancake. Wagyu mains melt-in-the-mouth, cooked to perfection and paired nicely with a few sides. Price is toppy but you're getting seriously quality food. If you don't order the snickers dessert with the indulgence cocktail, then I'm afraid you're missing out... Decor was impressive - we had a spacious booth. Service exceptional - shout out to Leonardo. Thanks!

Went here today and I had a rump steak which was very good. The reason I went was my birthday and they gave me a birthday cake with professor which was nice. The toilets also had automatic toilet lid opener and heated toilet seat 😄

I was only there for an event, but the place looks wonderful and the staff is amazing.

Beautiful restaurant but it all falls down after that. Poor service average food which shows little value for money. Upon entering, No one took our coats, bags, or jackets. Toilets are clean and pretty nice. We waited 15 minutes for a food menu which was annoying when dining with a client. The wagu scotch egg was amazing, well done chefs, but after that, everything else was mediocre. The white chocolate parfait was frozen solid which is a school boy error. For 4 of us the bill came to £750 inc 2 bottles of wine. If you want fine dining it's not here, but for a casual lunch, you'll be pleased.

Unbelievable steak, we chose the kilo sharer and our favourite was the ribeye, starters were beautiful and amazingly presented. Leonardo our waiter was sublimely attentive, never had to even ask for a top up of wine. 10/10 from me.

Saturday nights are empty for such a big restaurant. Really good service from staff, restaurant is clean and welcoming.. but lacked atmosphere as it was empty. Food looked better than it tasted. Overall would recommend for the experience, but not visiting again anytime soon

Enjoyed a farewell dinner with a close friend of mine. We were paid attention to and treated well from the beginning to the end, from choices of drinks, to the recommendation of quality aged Rib-eye steaks and their unique complementary sides. Florian has mastered the idea of what a customer looks for in a fine dining restaurant and despite our young age, provided us with the respect and hospitality we sought. Great food, service and atmosphere. 100% recommend the restaurant and hope you are lucky enough to have Florian take care of you as well.

Dined here with a close friend of mine and everything starting from the food, service, venue, and atmosphere was absolutely fantastic. We had 2 rib eye steaks which were cooked with perfection to our preference. The other recommended side dishes were delicious! The sommelier was extremely helpful with the selection of wine as well. We were suggested some desserts but were too full to have any. Lastly, I would like to give special thanks to the Manager, Florian for making this experience flawless. We will be returning with friends and try out the desserts too!

We came here last night for my dads 60th and we’re extremely disappointed. When we got there the restaurant was empty, there was only 1 table with a couple so there was no atmosphere what so ever for a London restaurant. We sat down and thought maybe due to them being empty that our service and food will be quick, oh were we wrong! Gave 1 drinks menu for 10 people and when asked for another took about 10 minutes, we then ordered drinks but the waiter kept running off and so he missed 2 drink orders from our table. No food menus had to ask twice to be given them. Half of the table ordered the buttermilk fried chicken but could not eat it as it’s was so spicy and had no taste what so ever, the food all came cold and took ages to come in the first place (again had to ask when it was going to arrive) Tbh with you I’m not surprised the restaurant was empty with the extortionate prices and bob standard food offered with poor service, never coming here again and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Spend your money elsewhere!!!

Went to this restaurant for a special family dinner, when we walked in it was completely empty apart from two other people who came in afterwards. Wish I had left beforehand. Our waiting staff were poor and we waited ages before we had to ask for a menu, they were really slow and seemed disinterested. The starters were expensive for what they were and we all agreed not worth the money. Steak was edible but way overpriced, could have got something nicer locally for half the cost, some of the food was cold too and had to be sent back. Overall not a pleasant experience and somewhere I would not go again.

I have been here for organised events recently and they have all been a huge success. From arrival and pre dinner drinks, through to the sit down meal and service - all went swimmingly. A 330ml bottle of beer at £7 with 95p service thrown on top for good measure does grate on top of the cost already paid. £5 is far more sensible.

We had a delicious dinner and fantastic service! It's a lovely atmosphere and located conveniently near Lloyd's and other financial buildings for a business lunch/dinner. We ate here twice. Enjoy!

2 only reason I gave 2 it was open disappointing overall 5 of us dinning starters for I head squid. Warm tasteless. I’ve had better steak from Tesco. Disappointed again warm sent back to my better judgement returned microwaved I think would I go again no I asked for cheese and biscuits. They came back with a cheesy onion the dish disgusting overpriced wine was a bad choice on my part cost per bottle £10 restaurant price, £45 the white wine, Peno Grigio priced at 7:99, at Tesco was £52 when Igot home I had to have something to eat

Amazing atmosphere and service, I had my sister for a shot holiday in uk, she was impressed by the way she was treated by your amazing team, we had Cesarand Leonardo looking after us. They were very friendly and professional. The management team was fantastic.

The atmosphere was fantastic, we really enjoyed the time we spent there. We had Cesar and Michalis looking after us and made our experience memorable. Big shout to the management team, they made us feeling as we were home.

Had a great experience here at the Threadneedle restaurant, was made special by all the staff especially Antoniya.

Our experience was delightful, we had a very fun masterclass with the cocktail making guru in the bar. We then had even more brilliant service from Toni, our private dining experience waiter. Not only was she attentive to our needs, she was friendly and helpful with the menu. All the best to her and all the staff.

Rarely has so much been spent been and ended in so much disappointment. Indifferent food that falls short of its menu description, served without enthusiasm and is totally uncorrelated to the outlandish and seemingly arbitrary prices. Even the bland furniture is starting to look tired....

There with a business group. Drinks very very slow to arrive. We had a set menu. The starter which was the Cobia Tartare was one of the best things I’ve had - truly delicious and I can’t recommend highly enough…. Main courses went down hill....
