This was our first trip to the London steakhouse and we were not disappointed. The food was stunning, the staff couldn't have been more helpful and, overall, we had a great time. Highly recommend it (we went to the Chelsea restaurant) and will definitely be returning.

Cannot speak more highly of this restaurant. The staff were absolutely delightful and made our wedding anniversary even more special. They were attentitive without hovering and just excellent all round. The food was DEVINE!! There are not enough words to describe how delicous the steaks were. From cocktails, through to wine, through to starter and dessert, we cannot fault our lunch. Thank you.

Great service and good food , I have been 3 times now and enjoyed it every time the staff are professional and polite and very nice, my sister went for the first time and she really enjoyed it. Good cocktails, not a huge menu , we had soup to start then a confit of duck and a beef bourguignon , followed by bread and butter pudding, and a rice pudding. All very nice not rushed , thank you , the staff make all the difference.

The sevice was Faultless, the Fowas lovely and the Staff were very Friendly. All in all it was a great visit, I will be back

A meal for my husband and I. The walk was about 20 from Sloanes Square but decided to get a taxi back as feet were aching after sight seeing all day! The food was delicious, the waiter very nice and we enjoyed a bottle of the New Zealand white.

This was a nice steak house situated along the Kings Road. Staff were very attentive and polite without being intrusive. Smooth jazz was being played in the background which added to the relaxed atmosphere. My partner and I both had the rump steak which was cooked beautifully, accompanied with fries and peppercorn sauce. The fancy bread and butter pudding finished the meal off perfectly. Not particularly cheap but this is London after all in 2019 and the perfect treat.

Visited with my husband for impromptu lunch. Lovely restaurant and very attentive staff. Clean and tidy and good atmosphere. Prompt service. When we complained about the cheddar cheese in the cheeseboard we had ordered they swapped it without fuss (it could be that the cheese was absolutely fine, just very mature, but to us it tasted mouldy and horrible).

The food was exceptional, and the staff were attentive, but the prices were so expensive it some what spoiled our trip.

We were lucky to visit the restaurant with a gift voucher for 3 course meal and a cocktail, for which they have a set menu to choose from. This does not include sides, which is one place they make their money back I guess. Starters were standard and adequate, not exciting or memorable in any way. Steak main was good, croquettes excellent. Desserts were hit and miss. The rice pudding they put their name to, was al dente and not hugely enjoyable but the bread and butter pudding was very good. Service was very good, friendly waiting staff and did not feel any different standard of treatment when visiting with a voucher as can be the case in some places. Overall the meal was enjoyable but I would not visit paying full menu prices.

Yes we had a voucher! It was my 40th and received it as a present. I think the choice is pretty limited , but have to say the starters (butternut soup and the Chicken liver parfait) were delicious. As were the desserts (sticky toffee and lemon posset with raspberries).

We visited on Thursday and had the set lunch which is part of a Virgin package. The service, starter and dessert were great. It’s a shame the same can’t be said about the rump steak. It was unfortunately very tough.

As this restaurant has a link with Marco Pierre White I was expecting more than we got. Pretty basic is my summary. We were there as part of a voucher experience so were on the set menu which was ok and the deal well explained by the waiter. The food was ok but expected more from a MPW place.

We had a return diner meal voucher having previously eaten at the City restaurant, so decided to enjoy our 28th Wedding anniversary with a decent meal. Service was prompt and the waiter was apologetic when he got called away by another very impatient customer. Starters were perfect. My husband said the Beef Weelington is the best he has ever tried. My steak was cooked exactly as I requested which was a pleasant surprise as I have been to many a restaurant where it wasn't. Desert was delightful. I had the lemon posset which cleansed and refreshed at the end of the meal perfectly. Thankyou to the Italian gentleman at front of house for looking after us and speaking to the kitchen to ensure our anniversary celebration was a lunch to remember.

The moment you enter you are made to feel welcome, you are walked through a dinning experience. My wife and I would say all of our courses were delightful, but the steaks were delicious, the best I've ever had. Congratulations to the chef.

Firstly the restaurant smelt of drains. The starters were very nice although a slice of bread or a crouton would have been nice with the soup. The house cut steak was not a cut I recognised and was so over seasoned I was crunching on rock salt. And so chewy I left it. The ressotto was watery and bland. When I asked for a glass of wine I wasn't offered the wine list but asked what I wanted so had to guess at one. Finally the bill was a bit of a shock £5.50 for half a lager. And £11 for a wine I didn't actually get to choose.

this was a birthday treat from my sisters and the restaurant itself was lovely with a warm welcome. We sat down at 8.00 with menus and made our choices for starter and main. We waited 20 minutes for our starter which was fine but were left waiting once we finished for around an hour with no explanation. The head guy dead deal with our frustration well and gave us some wine on the house when I got my steak at 9.45 the béarnaise sauce was split but I was too hungry to care.

Absolutely fabulous trip to London, quick access to the Shard and what a view! wonderful meal at LSH too in Chelsea. Would definitely recommend it.

Definitely the best Sunday lunch I have ever had. The food was outstanding, the venue beautiful, and the staff were so friendly and helpful.

The guy serving us was trying to be funny too much and wouldn’t leave us alone. Then he also got our orders wrong twice which seemed to be a consequence of his chatting. By the end of it we were pretty fed up and upset we paid a lot of money for something that bugged me rather than allowed us to enjoy our night and eat some great food. Once the correct food came out it was wonderful I must say.

The food is well presented and good quality. A varied wine list, attractive decor and nice atmosphere add to the experience. Good value offers and extremely good service and attention to detail. A very charming and entertaining Manager and friendly staff.

OK, we were given an "experience" gift of a voucher to go to the London Steakhouse. Now I get it. The staff is faced with a bunch of out-of-towners who will challenge the service charge and not venture from the prescribed menu. Not their favourite diners. But don't treat people like it's their first visit to a decent restaurant... even if it is.

We enjoyed a "Virgin Experience" dinner - cocktail and food were all excellent. The 'maitre de' is amusing and charming in a somewhat eccentric and 'familiar' way, which was not to everyone's liking. The 'intimate' atmosphere of the restaurant (its very small) was spoiled by a large group of women who could be heard two floors down when a moment of solitude would have been welcome! None of the staff seemed willing to ask them to reset the volume button.

Reception is very welcoming & general staff were super friendly.

It was a lovely venue, and staff were polite. But overall service was extremely slow and food was very poor. I am very disappointed as this was a gift, but it just wasn’t worth the extra costs we had to pay on top of the discount for our gift voucher.

We had a poor experience earlier in the year at this restaurant, now in their defence we was invited back for another meal , this time the food was excellent the service as before was impeccable led by a really good manager who actually remembered us from our previos visit.

After booking the 3 course with cocktail Sunday Lunch at the Chelsea restaurant I can't complain about anything. The two gentleman front of house efficient and friendly making the experience very pleasant. The food was incredible especially the two starters; chicken liver parfait and Mackerel. Definitely recommend and would go again.

This dinner was booked as part a Virgin experience days voucher so it was nice to eat somewhere we may not have otherwise. The inclusive menu choices were limited so we did choose meals that had a supplement but it was very much worth it. My husband had the sirloin steak and said it was the best he’d ever had!

We spent a lovely lunch time at the London Steak House, Glass of champagne on arrival, the waiter was exceptionally friendly and informative. Food was lovely, had a lovely afternoon would highly recommend.

We spent a pleasant evening last Saturday night at the London Steak house. The Maitre d’ made the night and was absolutely brilliant. We ate on the mezzanine floor and he was entertaining with his ability to charm and engage with the other diners. The food was fine and we would go back for the banter and the service.

Amazing glass of champagne on arrival and great choice of wine. A very pleasant meal with very attentive service. Highly recommended!

This was our 3rd visit, and love it just as much as the first time. The prices are at the higher end but worth every penny, especially for a special occasion. We had the ribeye with the butter sauce - absolutely delicious, the service was impeccable too, we will be back

This was part of a gift. The front of house made it feel like that too! Hi-liting the menu what we were allowed as part of the gift, like we were paupers or free loaders..! This disgruntled my partner and was reluctant to add anything other than what we were “allowed” due to being made feel quite unwelcome! Seating is that of a sardine in a can.. had some ladies bottom in my face a few times because of toilet visits and lack of space! No one wants to be seated right by the entrance right!?! The door vacuum sucks so tight you can feel your ears tighten with it and somewhat embarrassing watching people struggling to pull it open! Liver parfait for starters..too creamy..Had the Beef Bourgogne with creamed potatoes....too many mushrooms..we skipped pudding and requested 2 cappuccinos instead, (note this was a gift bought for us) we had to pay for these and not wavered for pudding..(note this was a gift)..we had to pay £5 for a bottle of water and Service Charge..totalling £25..we shouldn’t have had to pay anything, shame on you Marco Pierre White..

We had a wonderful time the food was excellent.

Loved the understated yet glamorous classy surroundings. My cocktail was perfect! The soup was absolutely delicious the steak was good too. The fries were a bit on the soggy side and lukewarm on arrival but the sticky toffee was divine, even the vanilla ice cream my other half ordered was so creamy! Not too sure about cheese on spinach but that’s just me.

Great little restaurant with excellent service and fantastic food . We had a 3 course voucher meal as a present and was not disappointed. Good choices on the menu and as it was Sunday me and my wife opted for the sunday dinner which was a choice of chicken or beef , we both went for the beef and must say one of the best sunday dinners I have had in a long time . cant thought anything from this restaurant and would highly recommend it .

My husband received a Buy A Gift voucher and we booked this restaurant through it for my birthday meal. I cannot fault the staff or service of this restaurant as both were the absolute highlight of the visit. The downfall for me was the food. Starters were fine. For my main I ordered the beef Wellington at £9.50 supplement I expected this to be good. Unfortunately the beef was not good. It was completely overcooked except for a little bit in the centre where it was raw. It was so tough that I couldn’t eat it without it bouncing around the plate. My husband had the rump steak which he said was cooked perfectly but just didn’t think was a food quality meat. This is a steak restaurant so I am disappointed that it was the steak elements that let it down. I certainly don’t think I would return.

We arrived to the restaurant 20 minutes earlier than our booking and we were greeted with a wonderful welcome and sat down straight away. The atmosphere was so friendly and we were made to feel at ease immediately. The food was delicious and we had no complaints about the wine either. We would 100% be back and would recommend to anyone. Was a lovely evening

The restaurant is at the end of the Kings road and if youre ok with the walk (and who wouldnt with all those shops) then the result is great food and great service in a clean eatery.

Our visit to the London Steakhouse has been awaiting us for over a year. my work colleagues bought us a voucher for our 40th wedding anniversary. So it's almost our 41st by the time we got around to using it. However, we couldn't have picked a better evening. Our two waiters really looked after us, making us feel really welcome and making us smile. What a fabulous experience. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and the bottle of Rioja was brilliant. Would love to visit again sometime.

I was taken here for my birthday treat and loved it that much I have returned twice more taking other friends for there birthday treats.

Had received recommendation so decided to book for wifes birthday. The food, ambience and service provided by the friendly staff was excellent and made for a very enjoyable evening. Will definitely look to return for the next suitable occasion.

We went for my friends 60th. Service lovely but main course disappointment the haddock fish cakes were blended so you couldnt tell it was fish and it had a smooth baby food taste and texture. The ravioli my friend had was nice filling but the pasta was slimy.

We had a voucher for our anniversary, the restaurant is small but laid out really nice. The staff were lovely, & made you feel very welcome. It was a set menu which we thought had a good choice, we had extra's but were not pressured to do so. Would definitely recommend. Thank you, will return next time we are in London. Xx

V special day ruined worst steak I've ever eaten. Michellin star perhaps chewy as tire & taste not as good. Bland menu only missing prawn cocktail & cheese cake. Astronomically over priced don't go for VIP package £55 For cheap wine, water & a coffee REALLY only good point staff extremely good. There were several other voucher fails while we were there so not on our own. Gutted as my daughter saved for ages to treat us. Spend your money elsewhere

Friends bought us a 'Red Letter Day Experience' as a Christmas gift which was a lovely thought given we enjoy dining out immensely. Booked this a while back and it crept up on us so off we trotted with no real expectations as such. The restaurant is small, discreet & delightful and the staff were extraordinarily welcoming & professional. The cocktails were super and our three-course meal (we opted for Sunday Roast) was exceptional. Well done and thanks to all concerned!

Starter was really nice left wanting more main was a complete let down steak on it's own unless you buy side orders pretty much a con an 8 ounce con that I could cook better dessert was nice service was a let down my wife asked for a substitute from set menu as shes pregnant was told no plus no bread with the soup on the whole dissapointed

Me and my wife visit Marco steakhouse in Chelsea twice a year for a taste of luxury and we are never disappointed with either the food or the service. Prefer to go on a Sunday as parking is easier and restaurant not rammed.

Booked this for a late lunch last week for two people. Service was good, price was fair.

To be honest this was a little pompous and expensive for a steak, The service was get you in and get you out, not saying the service was bad but it was very clear in and out quick as. My steak was over cooked, the wine was very expensive for just a pino, would I go back nooooh

The food was delicious and couldn’t be faulted but the service was quite slow. It was also not very well planned in the restaurant as we, a table of 4 were squashed into a corner table next to a serving station, but the table of 2 behind us were more than comfortable on their table of 6! Sitting next to the service station where every other diners food and drinks were bought to on the large trays before they were taken to their table was quite offputting. The restaurant is very narrow too so you feel like you’re on top of each other.

We visited this delightful venue with celebration in mind. From reception to exit, we were not disappointed. Our reception host was delightful and all staff was attentive. We enjoyed our meal which was amazing! Beautiful meal in a beautiful atmosphere.

This was a birthday gift special occasion so was expecting something special. The only good thing about the meal was the butternut soup, the main meal would have just been a steak on a plate if we have not paid £5.25 for 2 tomatoes (which should have had shallots with it but there was none) and £5.25 for 5 onion rings, I know it’s london but this was rip off. The steak was cold when it arrived at the table. So all in all a huge disappointment we did not bother to stay for the dessert.

We were bought this meal as a gift. We had previously visited the Tower Bridge restaurant and thought we would give this one a try. We had a beautiful meal with wonderful, attentive staff. In terms of venue we preferred the Tower Bridge restaurant because it was roomier and, although in a basement, seemed somehow airier. That, however, is no reflection on the food and service in Chelsea, we cannot fault it.

We were shown to our table (by the waiters serving area) and left for sometime before being offered a drink or menu. Service was poor, although the staff were pleasant. Food was ok but nothing special. Charged £35 for supermarket £8 wine. Would I recommend.... no. I would imagine that most business is from Virgin experiences.

Nice romantic atmosphere with very pleasant background music. Had pate to start but definitely needed more brioche. You ended up with loads of pate left with nothing to eat it with... was a bit of a waste really. Rump steak and fish cake were lovely as was the sticky toffee pudding. Cocktail was a nice touch.

Our second visit and again we were not disappointed - the food was beautifully cooked and presented and the service again was outstanding - we will return

Disgusting attitude to anyone with vouchers. My 89 yr father was taken very poorly last minute. As soon as we realised he could not be left we rang at 10 am to cancel 2 pm booking. Knowing they really booked it.

Me and my boyfriend visited the restaurant as part of a virgin experience. The restaurant itself was very smart and the staff were very welcoming. We got a choice of cocktail, starter, main and side (our steak came with a sauce too) and dessert. The waiter spilt my cocktail down me by accident and immediately apologised, got a new one and later in the evening got us both a complimentary glass of champagne. We only paid £15 extra. I would recommend this virgin experience

Our visit was through a Virgin Experience and I had the choice of the Kings Road or city venues. Given we were going to be there on a Saturday I chose the Kings Road site. We were warmly welcomed and shown to a nice table that had a table occupied on one side and a unit used by the staff on the other. Menus were provided and a clear explanation given as to how the Experience offer worked. I had also paid extra at the time of booking to include side dishes, a bottle of wine from the list up to £35 etc. My wife and I made our choices from the menu and I chose a wine - my first choice, the house red, was not available!

After receiving a voucher for Christmas we finally made it, unfortunately with children!! Chose an earlier time in order to have the kids out of there before the Saturday evening diners...unfortunately due to 2 year old twins being difficult we rocked up very late!

Great ambience and an even better steak! The service was excellent - just attentive enough. Definitely well worth visiting again.

We had 2 Virgin vouchers for Christmas, we used the first voucher at the City restaurant, already reviewed and very disappointing. We went to the Chelsea restaurant with trepidation. We were pleasantly surprised, the ambience was lovely, the staff were very attentive and the food was good, we would go there again without a voucher.
