I was expecting the KPH to be more reflective of its music history, however, it was very nice, the pint of Timothy Taylor’s “ Landlord” needs looking after better than the pint I was served, I need to go back when it’s busier...

Visité este pub de un domingo por la tarde después de trabajar localmente y había música improvisada en la esquina del pub. Las cervezas son buenas y hay comida para los clientes distribuido. El pub es un bar agradable de grande y es muy acogedor. Me gustaría regresar aquã-

I have only been here once and I didn't like it. Didn't have the warm friendly feel I like a pub to have.

The KPH has just re-opened and the guys running it seem good fellas. Nice range of beers and newly no fuss refurbed brings the atmosphere together - nice evening out in my old haunt!

Real hearty London pub. Fair prices. Close to Ladbroke Grove tube and portobello market. Would 100% go back. The heart beat of Notting hill

Found the pub by chance this week, excellent range of drinks and friendly service by the sole barman on a Thursday lunchtime. Sadly I have found out the pub maybe closing due to new freeholds. It will be a great shame as its one of the last places not to be gentrified in the area.

Good music (live jazz bands play frequently or there is an excellent DJ). The pizzas are delicious..

Went here for some drinks with friends recently. We ended up staying to eat and the Pizzas were really good! The staff were very friendly. I'd only been there once before a few years ago - what a transformation! There was a great atmosphere with a band on. I will definitely be going back, it's a lively pub with an eclectic feel!

We eat here last night before a gig. My husband's burger was ok but the hand cooked chips were sadly rather cold. My spaghetti bolognese did have a genuine home made feel to it. The food wasn't expensive, but the wines we wanted weren't available, so we were forced into much more expensive choices. Having said all of that, the theatre room upstairs is charming, and the gig was great. Check out King Eider if they're ever on near you.

My husband and I have recently started visiting this pub every week (after our local was turned into a tesco and our next choice changed hands and the food wasn't so good) and we love it. It is everything we look for in a pub. They have done it up while retaining its original character. It looked great at christmas and the open fire was so cosy! The staff are helpful and friendly. The food is great, especially the pizza, it rivals many pizza restaurants that we have eaten in and the Nduja pizza is addictive! We also love the mixture of people who go there, all ages and from all walks of life, we feel this gives the KPH it's great relaxed friendly atmosphere. There is also regular live music upstairs. As london pubs are ruined and disappearing on a regular basis we value this pub and really appreciate the great job that they are doing.

This run down "pub" is a tacky waste of space, the food was overpriced and tasted like ready meal food. Overpriced is an under statement! A meal combo of a hotdog and a beer was £15 , do not go there at all!

Has the atmosphere of a men's social club with eclectic old furniture. Service wasn't brilliant but they have tried a little bit to transform themselves to appeal to a younger crowd. There is a band on some nights but nothing special. It's got a good location but needs a serious upgrade and change of management.

Our group of nine extended family members visiting from the U.S. was looking for a neighborhood pub near the house we were renting in Ladbroke Grove. We were there on a Sunday night and almost had the place to ourselves. The food was good -- basic pub food -- and the beer selection was average. The bartender/waiter was a pleasant fellow. KPH isn't dripping with old world pub charm if that is what you are looking for. It's functional, but that is not a criticism. Prices were fair so we weren't expecting fine dining. I would recommend KPH if you are looking for what I described.

Until recently the KPH was a local ratty pub in great need of a refresh.Recently it's changed owners and they have done a nice job of updating. They have re-opened the kitchen, started having entertainment, and changed out the beer selection. So, compared to the old KPH, a 200% improvement. The food is pretty good, not gourmet by any means, but the pizza is tasty, the BBQ wings are very spicy and nice, and the steak is well made. They need to get used to their pizza oven as the place fills up with smoke from time to time. What they need to work on still is the service. It's prompt, but non-attentive. No one asks if you would like to order food, (If it were not for the sign board on the sidewalk, the casual drop in wouldn't know that they had food at all). The chef is friendly enough and stops by to check on the food, th owner is a bit aloof, and doesn't seem to interact with the customers much. At least the old manager would say Hi, and thanks for coming in.I do suggest giving them a try, especially on Saturdays as the music choices they have are excellent. Jazz, Bluegrass, Folk a goog mix. They are still settling in, and I hope they keep improving.

Supongo que obtienes lo que pagas por barato y terrible, no soy un fanático y ningún esfuerzo en el servicio o la comida debería haber sido de Tesco

Second visit after six months. What a disappointment. The first visit we enjoyed and it prompted us to come again. Again one of us ordered the cod. It can only be described as being like rubber. Appreciate that this is a red meat specialist, but if you are going to offer fish on the menu, it’s reasonable to expect it to be cooked properly. I am sure it would have bounced if we tried. Totally inedible. They agreed to replace it with a burger which was fine. However the triple fried chips were not all cooked properly. The regularly shaped chips were okay, but the thicker ones were not cooked through, and inedible. Service was good. Overall disappointed though and not sure we will be back.

The service was good, but the food very average. Sunday roast was a pre-portioned chicken, with underdone potatoes and carrots and a dry overcooked Yorkshire pudding. The waitress asked if all ok, and I was unenthusiastic, but this had no impact. There were also three dogs allowed at nearby tables, which is a big no for me. i will not return.
