Sea bass wasn’t very filling - for the price, I would have expected at least some vegetable sides. Our pancakes came out room temperature and chewy, and we ended up returning the dish :-/

Food was good, portion was huge so definitely good value for money. We had pancakes and french toast and both were good. Staff were super nice and customer service was superb.

Waiter rarely came to our table. Had to track him down to get our food then again to get the check.

We were really pleased with the correct service, pleasant atmosphere and, above all, good food. There isn't an overly extensive menu but, whatever you choose, it doesn't disappoint. On the other hand, the variety of drinks and cocktails is extensive. Very good burger, recommended, with a meat flavor that I prefer to eat without sauces. Location in the middle of Portobello. Make a stop!

We chose the English breakfast and I must say that overall it was quite acceptable apart from the decidedly chewy bacon.

Waited half an hour for my coffee had to ask for it 3 times and for sugar twice. When it came it was a tiny cup of pisswater for £5.

On a busy Sunday this place had a great vibe, not crammed, food was top notch, service wD friendly, quick would go back foe sure

Searching for a late breakfast around the portobello road google suggested the electric diner , on arrival the place was buzzing , fab (low volume) 80’s club tracks being played , and delicious looking brunch dishes prepared in the open kitchen The welcome was to be honest pretty bland , we hadn’t booked -it was busy , but we pointed out we’d happily sit at the bar and so joined other customers patiently waiting to be served , which is the only apparent issue here …waiting for service , the wait for cutlery after food has been set down, and the wait for the opportunity to have another drink or for dishes to be cleared ….it’s a real shame -and a obvious frustration to the behind the bar staff The food and drinks were delicious , from a full English breakfast to the largest slice of french toast with a delicious raspberry coulis and whipped crème fraiche , cocktails and fruit smoothies we will definitely return A little bonus , if you have a ticket for the iconic electric cinema next door …you’ll get a discount of 50% off your meal

For me a bit loud music- but everything else was just wonderful. Food was plenty and delicious.

When you think diner most people think American style, shakes & burgers. The name doesn’t reflect this gorgeous stylish old school restaurant. Waffles were to die for and the full English breakfast was a feast! So very wonderful, it’s a must visit!

A wonderful place! I would definitely go back. It is voted as best Diner in London and I totally agree. I would highly recommend the avocado toast for brunch. The atmosphere is amazing and the sofas are very comfortable. Staff were very fast and hard working and I can’t wait to go back.

Weird brunch menu at 3pm Mothering Sunday. Unattentive staff didn’t ask if all ok. My steak wasn’t rib eye as stated , was tiny, rare, tough and not cooked to medium rare as requested. And cost - £34. …. Disappointing. Waited about 15 mins for a scoop of ice cream (itself weirdly unpleasant). Good chips & music though.

I used to visit the Electric regularly, very disappointed, first time back in around a year. There were quite a few problems to be noted. 1) we were sat and waited for menus up until I had to get up and ask for them. 2) Mozzarella sticks came before our water or our drinks! 3) Ribs overly smoked and we're not nice at all, no one ate them at the table. 4) one of our desserts the lemon tart was considerably smaller than on previous visits. 5) The Service was absolutely atrocious, I've never seen it so bad there and the restaurant was EMPTY so they can't even use "BUSY" as an excuse. 6) we ordered the bill and we all decided to pay in cash in Great British Pounds, the currency of this country and our waiter said they don't take cash and proceeded to get the manager. The manager turned up and started waving his hands and pointing at the cash saying "we don't take this, we don't take it" The manager and I proceeded to disagree with eachother and he told me it's written on the menu, it might be but it's not plastered and who looks for how you are able to pay, he said that he "knew" we had cards, regardless of the fact if we had cards or not, there should have been no issues with the acceptance of cash. Due to the manager being rude I suggested that he take the cash and work out how to pay the bill, it's not my problem, he then took the cash and said I can't give you change and then walked away and presumably paid the bill. I feel extremely let down and what was once such a cool and chic venue has turned into one that I don't think I would go back to again.

we were a group of 6 and arrived at 9am for brunch, food was good but the service and arrival of the food was really scattered with some being served 15 minutes after the first food was out, a side of back arriving a good 5 plus minutes before the eggs that it was supposed to go with so it had to be sent back to be warmed up. Took 20 mins to get a filter coffee after ordering at the outset even though other coffees arrived way earlier, and this early in the brunch time and it was not so busy when we arrived. hard to fathom why the kitchen works to achieve this chaos and it left us feeling less good in what was meant to be a treat. and fortunately we were enjoying each other s company so the time passed smoother than it if had been a working breakfast or a meeting.

Came here the other week!! The cocktails were amazing and the vibe was on point. I was looked after by Alex, Tom and Naj who were so welcoming and helpful!! Great place 🥰

My new favourite local again. The food is delicious & great for sharing or ordering solo. Staff are always very friendly & attentive. Love the decor in electric. Great selection of craft beers & cocktails.

A must-visit place in Nothing Hill and London. Very wide opening hours. We go there every time.

The food is great and reasonably priced. Just bear in mind that the service is really disappointing, rushed staff who just want you to hurry up and leave so the table can be turned over. We requested water twice and left thirsty.

Nice place with very polite staff. We came for breakfast and had full English breakfast and Eggs Royale. Full English was delicious, for Eggs Royale I liked the muffin and the Hollandaise, but the poached egg was overcooked so that the yoke was not runny.

Service was terrible. Coffee took over 30 minutes, then a power outage further delayed our food. Waitstaff were rude, unhelpful, and we refused to pay service charges. Their attitude towards their job was evident and affected their performance. Despite positive reviews, I'm hesitant to recommend this place. Food was average, nothing special too. Music was too loud that it’s even hard to talk . Very stupid experiences.

It's all about the Honey chicken which is plentiful and yummy! Drinks are pricey so be warned however you are dining in Portobello Road so to be expected. The lemon meringue pie is to die for and easily shared. Great service too dining here is defo a firm favourite for us!

With the 50% off, I think it’s really worth the money. The service for the food was really quick, but it took a long time to receive the bill which was a bit disappointing. The quality of the food was nice.

Great pancakes. Mascarpone and berries were a perfect combo. Not too sweet and not at all sickly. Coffee is great too. Proper fabric napkin and sturdy cutlery - always a win.

Food was terrific. The service, unfortunately, was completely chaotic. Very, very hard to get any service; to the point that we had to walk out and ask to pay on our way out - we’d asked for the bill three times. Staff seem rather forgetful, but are friendly.

Very generous discount given with valid cinema ticket. Staff friendly, efficient and capable. My steak was fine unfortunately my companions wasn't looking around this was the exception to the rule that was dealt with by a further, generous, discount which was unexpected and gratefully received.

We waited at least 20 minutes for our order to be taken and another 20 for our drinks to arrive, the staff looked too busy to check on us. Mac n cheese was good, cheese burger was very dry and noone seemed bothered about our complaint. Waited a while for the bill to get to our table as well. Very disappointed as it used to be such a nice place.

I went to eat here at the diner with my family last night and the service was so bad we had to leave before our mains came. So we asked the manager for a takeaway, she was kind and explained how unhappy she was too with the service we were given and gave us a small percentage off our bill. We didn’t even end up eating our takeaway as it was freezing cold but we had steak tartare for starter at the restaurant before we left and every one of us started to feel unwell, all night all 3 of us have been vomiting up until now. It is an outrage that somewhere like electric soho house could provide us with this kind of service and the food poisoned us. I’ve been multiple times before to the private members bit upstairs and never had an issue like this, my first time eating at the diner and my last!

Nice vibe, good location, pleasant service. The food was ok - lacking flavour and portions small for cost, eggs underdone, small coffee cups etc. My daughter asked to go there for her 21st birthday breakfast and we left feeling disappointed.

The chefs and waiters were professional and down to earth and this fab team added to my overall experience at Electric Diner. My only small critique is a reiteration of some of the previous reviews which is that the music is a bit loud and could be turned down slightly. I look forward to visiting again.😊

Unfortunately we arrived for our reservation to a number of menu items being unavailable, these things happen. However we then started to proceed to request a number of other items which it transpired half of the ingredients were missing so unable to be cooked or prepared as advertised. Given this situation we had no choice but to leave without eating and had to venture to an alternative restaurant and queue given we had no reservation. A disappointing start to our new year which is a shame as the Electric has always been okay before. In fairness to the staff they were very apologetic and understanding of our decision to leave.

The lunch menu is very limited. eggs Benedict are breakfast only but then toast on the eggs is lunch? a bit confusing, I thought it was a brunch spot and 12.30 was early enough for brunch. Sad meal.

The venue is really good and the food was nice. It was annoying that my son was waiting at a table at the front on his own for 15 minutes because when he arrived after us he was told we hadn’t arrived. I think the waiter who led us to the table didn’t take any notice of our booking even though we gave him details

Had to ask for waiter a few times. We had burgers, ribs and chicken/ waffle. Are awful. Ribs were cold and dry. Burgers not at all good. Worst of all the chicken waffle arrived 15 min late after asking three times. Then there were only four small chicken nuggets on waffle!! Not even pieces of chicken. The whole experience was frankly terrible.

Love our trips to the electric diner - combined it with a visit to the cinema and their 50% off food offer with a cinema ticket - great Sunday!

I like Electric it's right by where I live and it's convenient. However, being charged £4 for 2 mushrooms as a side for breakfast is a bit hard to take. Smoked salmon as a side is £5 so I don't get it. Don't get me wrong the food is great but I'm not convinced it's the best value.

I love the seating, the aesthetics and the ambience of the restaurant however the music was very loud. The drinks menu was excellent and I loved my tiramisu milkshake, however my vegan burger was only ok. I thought it was very expensive.

Our waiter Giovanni was both charming and attentive and helped us with our food and drink selections. He brought us small samples of beer and wine to try and made our evening relaxed and enjoyable.

Lovely venue quick service but not worth visiting. Mediocre burgers below average chips & flat draft beer. Food came quickly but the service wasn’t worth the 13.5% service charge. After realising they over changed me for drinks we didn’t have getting a receipt and a refund was painful. The abrupt manager didn’t help.

Electric has one of the best burgers in London (a bold claim I know). If you like burgers it's definitely worth a visit.

Unfriendly and unaccommodating staff. Reservations are not being honored and cancelation calls come in just in time for when we turn up. Reservations are jot red for important information in advance AND they don't allow dogs... I mean, who does that? What a mess.

SUPER LOUD couldn’t hear each other speak. Our light in the booth hung down directly in front of our faces and our food came way before our drinks. But the food was really good.

Service was really slow, had to ask 3 times to order my food, then food arrived and had no cutlery and by the time I got it the food started to get cold. The drinks only came after the food. Very poor service and disorganised staff.

Love the atmosphere and layout of the long diner. The service was great, our server was very nice and food was reasonably good, wasn’t a fan of the spinach with the veggie breakfast and the eggs were cold but the hashbrowns were great. Our milkshakes were mixed up as the cream and decorations were on the wrong drinks but our server was super nice about it and took them off for us so we appreciated that.

When with a friend I hadn’t seen for years. Ambience was great & busy on a Sunday afternoon. Food was great with us having a burger & ribs with a nice bottle of Primitivo. Everything was very good except the waiter forgot a starter, never check in with us & didn’t offer any coffee or dessert or another drink after our mains were cleared. Tough on a Sunday but definitely some trading required for foh member who was very nice but very green. I’d definitely recommend 👌
