The Grill - Harrods in Kensington and Chelsea

I've had some bad meals in London over the years, but this was the most expensive of them. Avoid - there are other better options.

Disappointed on fish and chip. Staff Service is good.

The food was awesome, especially the steaks, the vibe and ambience in the dinning was buzzing. Our table was well looked after by Elin, Mathias, Silwya and Tiziana. Will surely visit again.

I eat at Harrods for the lovely atmosphere & delicious grill

Had delicious beetroot and goat cheese salad. Service was confusing but got it right in the end. We sat at the round table in the back corner which was the only relatively quiet seats in the house.

They don't care which customers came first,how to serve. They're so uninterested. They took the same order to those who came after us first.They didn't even say sorry.The grill was also ordinary.

A good option for lunch at Harrods.

Came with a booking and my table is not ready - I think this place is good but needs a professional manager with proper training and experience to manage this high end place.

We got in quickly but it took them 45 minutes to bring the food after taking our order. The food was cold and we didn't feel like it was anything special.

I went there during the lunch hour so it was definitely packed. I was lucky enough to find a place for myself. I indulged myself and ordered a Chicken Cesar Salad and a sirloin steak. The food was excellent and super tasty. Despite being very busy, the waiters still tried their best to serve you. The only draw back was that it was rather noisy given the number of people in the dinning hall. Other that than, everything was impeccable.

The chicken is good, but the behavior is not good. They are confused about our requests and they do not respond to us and they are slow

Forgot order, forgot water, forgot sides, forgot gravy, forgot to ask if all was well. This was not what I was expecting. Needless to say, service charge refused.

Ambiance and service great , the ceaser salad solo was perfect but always but , my comoanion added steak to the caesars salad and we were charged an extra 75 pounds for a small piece of beef as extra. The overcharge spoilt the experience

Best steak tartare and delicious Caesar salad. I loved the steak as a starter it was so delicious I would go back only for that dish. The only bad point is that it costs 15 pounds to add chicken to your Caesar salad!!! That s too much

This was a one off special day, rare occasion for us and eating at Harrods was a bucket list event. The food was delicious and couldn't fault it - we had the Wagu burger and normal fries, both of which were absolutely delicious! We weren't rushed which was good but the ambience didn't make us feel special and general service was average: the hostess was a bit sullen, the waiter was lovely taking our order but we expected a luxury service and he could have been sharper dressed in a smart suit and shirt. The waitress was very pleasant but bumped into my husband's chair 3+ times so maybe one less table is required in that area. Overall though, we enjoyed our experience but wouldn't go back for the price we paid as feel ther are other restaurants in London we would receive a more special experience for the same money.

Very nice baby chicken with rice

I had an unforgettable dining experience at this restaurant, savoring the ribeye steak, lobster, and truffle mac and cheese. Every dish was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The steak was tender and juicy, the lobster succulent, and the truffle mac and cheese rich and creamy. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a top-notch meal!

We try the grill today for lunch .. in our break from shopping.. The 24h marinated baby chicken was so yummy with the rice and the fries .. They have many options from meat more i will come back to try the burger

The burger bun was dry a bit. Not something you would expect for a £39 burger. Patty was juicy and tasty overall. Atmosphere was lovely. Service was all right, not the best. Mac and cheese was great!

Found a piece of stone in my found that cracked my tooth, customer service “investigated” the situation and said basically that we are lying there. Unprofessional and rude! Never again and I will let everyone know about this to avoid this place

Im shocked. I cannot believe what happened. So i waited for Harrods to reply to my complaint but it’s been exactly a week ago. I was dining in with friends and took a new order takeaway to my wife. We found a stone! Yes a STONE in our baby chicken with the side of rice. I filled the form, explained to Harrods that my wife chipped her teeth and has been suffering from migraines ever since! They replied it will take up to seven days. They still haven’t even replied or had the decency to make a follow up call. I cannot express how disappointed i am with this place. The Grill has always been one of my favorites. Im a Black Member with Harrods and they can see through my transactions that i dine there and would never complain! Btw, in 2016 we were dining in Pizeria and chipped a nail!!! Yes a Nail! And i never went to that restaurant ever again. Such a Shame this restaurant charges a lot and yet dont care ! Im not sure what to do? Shall i file a court case?

The Grill restaurant inside Harrods in Grand Flour. I tried their baby chicken with rice and hot peri peri sauce, and to be honest, it is very delicious. The atmosphere is good, the service is excellent, and of course the prices at Harrods are definitely expensive above average.

I wss expeting a bit more , vibes were not there and my friends weren’t really happy with my choice. I will pass next time. The menu needs some update

As expected, heavily overpriced for nothing really special. The rotisserie chicken might have been the best item on the menu. Even tried the £60 rib eye, but it tasted seriously blant, and the herbal mayonese gave my husband the stomach bug. Service on the other hand was very good. Very skilled and professional waiter, accommodating and quick service. Not so much the ladies that seat you to the tables, though. Asking for a table of two at the grill is like asking them to give you a massage.. The looks you get!

I will make this short. Service good but the steaks we had were very poor quality meat - ribeye and sirloin, tough and tasteless, a couple of mouth fulls then left the lot! Extremely disappointing! Will not revisit.

Service was excellent. At the greet and meet Nas was very quick in getting us sat down and comfortable while we waited for our table. At the grill we were looked after by Laslou, who was very prompt, and the food came out quickly. We ordered the tomohawk, it was delicious, and justified the price. Would go back.

I had a great time yesterday with my family. The experience became even better with Ana Paula's impeccable service. It was one of the best services we had in London. Well done team! Excellent food!

I have been in the grill restaurant last week with my family and was absolutely amazing. We was eating the amazing Australian waguy which is unforgettable with a delicious Caesar salad thank to Ana the waitress that was guiding was to pick the right choice. We also tried two cocktails: Passion Velvet and the fantastic Green Margarita. We are excited to go back as soon as we can. Thanks for the all team.

Beautiful place, everything wonderful, very good food. I want to thank the attendant Ana Paula, very attentive and polite, I don't speak English very well and having someone speaking Portuguese to help us was great.

Dinner was incredible. From the moment we have arrived to the moment we left we had a great time. Staff was very friendly, in especial to Ana that was always smiling and very professional. We will definitely come back.

My husband and I booked a table on the Fork for celebrating my new job. We were seated at the corner. Staffs were not too attentive as we had to wait a while to order. We started ordering the drinks and my husband tried to order a Bloody Mary for me. The server was starting to be quite impatient saying that we should only order things which shown on the menu. We then decided to go for the Bloody Grill without the beef bouillon. I was particularly there for the lobster and unfortunately the server said they do not have it tonight. I was quite disappointed and couldn’t find anything else interested from the menu. So we apologised to the server and left the restaurant. The server said something like “it’s a grill here. It’s all meat on the menu. What do you want?” while we were on our way leaving the restaurant. I felt so embarrassed because it was so busy and he was kind of shouting. I just wanted to ask if there’s anything wrong with only wanting to have lobster but nothing else.

You don't know what and what not to describe. The restaurant attracts your attention from the moment you enter the hall until you sit at the table. You feel as if you are in a museum surrounded by art collection from everywhere. The food is served with great care while preserving the smallest details. Baby chicken dish is pretty perfect. The staff is very friendly and pays attention to all the details.

I cannot rate our experience highly enough. Everything from start to finish was exceptional. Special mention for the service, food also delicious. Thank you. We will be back again.

Very good service and good food but when I go home l check that my bill 200g US PRIME RIBEYE is £64 pounds and l check the menu again it is £32 pounds? Otherwise everything is very good

Came here for our anniversary lunch. Food was ok. Truffle Mac and cheese and the truffle chips were delicious. Disappointed with the service as the waiters were too slow and we had to keep trying to get there attention. Our drinks took about 10 minutes to come. We had a reservation so make sure you reserve beforehand as it gets busy.

The Australien Steak filet is yummy and delicious 😋 🥩 the fries is average ( it’s oily ) the mash potatoes is delicious . The waiting time is too much it’s better if you reserve.

Nothing special, fatty fillet, ask for medium well stakes & you get well done..

this place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff was also really friendly. The manager MR Chheng was incredible. he know what he was doing and what he was talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy was his main priority. Food is pretty good. Will come back again 👌🏻

The place was very charming with its interior design. The different restaurants were laid out in one big room section accordingly to its cuisine. The Tomahawk steak at The Grill was very good. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare with great crusting on the outside. I think the lobster was a bit pricey for its worth. The truffle chips were very delicious. The Chablis wine was very light and easy in the palate. I think it surprisingly went well with the surf and turf!

Fantastic food, stakes, burgers, chicken, all fantastic. I enjoy sitting at the bar and watch the staff at the kitchen, they are fantastic. Hats down! The place has very high attendance, and this requires higher speed than usual! They are simply fantastic! Hygienic, efficient, so quick, and accurate. There’s a level of chemistry that makes the job more efficient & the outcome outstanding, even with the heat, the noise, and the traffic of people! Fantastic place

Harrods grill use to be a great place and well managed. It's definitely not anymore, the worst are the host who are unprofessional and even rude. Harrods use to have the best kindest and best service of any department store, not anymore. Seems like management don't care. The host a fat English lady with brown hair was vey unwelcoming and did not know how to handle the queue, she was a disaster and should not work in hospitality. One would expect a very high service and greeting, this was not the case. The food at the grill was ok but nowhere close to the better steakhouses in the city. The days of when Harrods was a special place are long gone.

We lined up to eat at the grill section on the evening of November 18, around 18:30. When it was our turn, the two ladies who arranged the queue said that our place would be a bar and it was being cleaned. When they were ready, they took us to the bar. At the last minute, the person I learned was the place's manager, who came and left a reservation and happy birthday card on the table at the bar reserved for us. Then, the person told us this place was booked and turned us away. I told them this place was confirmed, and they had no right to do this at the last second. Everyone, including the manager, rudely told us that we should wait and that the place belonged to a customer who was late. As a result, we left there. The manager and the two ladies did not even apologise. They had an utterly indifferent attitude. While we were waiting for our table, the manager brought people from different places, seating them at their tables with endless service. The staff treats people differently and discriminates against them under the pretext of having a reservation. I am sure the manager got good tips from the guests he brought without reservation while we waited to be seated.

I finally got to try the brand new Dining Hall at Harrods and chose The Grill. Service was friendly and consistently attentive, and every point of contact remembered to say “enjoy your meal” with a smile. I had the ribeye (300g), creamed spinach with whole grain mustard, a glass of Pinot noir from Burgundy, France, and some sparkling water. The steak was nice but unfortunately certain parts of it were too salty. It was a bit better when mixed with the peppercorn sauce. The parts that were not heavily salted tasted very good with the sauce. The red wine went very well with the beef, and the creamed spinach was okay. Was it a good meal? Yes and no. Yes, it was a fairly decent steak, but it was slightly marred by too much salt. Also, seated at a counter in a noisy, crowded dining hall made it seem far too casual for an imperfect meal that was slightly more than £100. By all means, try out the new Harrods Dining Hall, if you must. To be fair, besides The Grill, there are several other options such as Sushi by Masa, Kinoya, Kerridge’s Fish and Chips, Pasta Evangelists, Assembly Mezze and Skewers. But it will still be noisy and crowded, and so I for one won’t be in a hurry to return.

Really not worth the price. As it was a busy Sunday, there was a line and I was told to wait 10 minutes (bearing in mind I was alone as well) so I did. 10 minutes pass and I see a few groups of people (2+) without reservations going in before me. I then asked why they were seated when they only just came in and, suddenly, the hosts found a table for me. Fine. I was really hungry. So I sat down, everyone else was being served before me but I sucked it up as I’ve waited a while already and my waitress was really nice. So, I ordered the burger (£38) which did NOT include fries. The most rare that they can make the meat was medium well due to policy (not a fan, but again, I was hungry). The drinks came quite quickly and the burger was made within 10-15 minutes so I was happy. I honestly think that the burger (quality and taste) was 100% not worth the price. Small and very salty overall. I’m not sure about the steaks - the other dishes looked lovely, but this was a disappointment as a whole. The chefs were nice and the atmosphere was nice but that’s about it. It’s a massive shame because I go to the food court dining quite often (first time at the grill though) and the experience really ruined my day.

The food in this place is hit and miss, it used to be my favourite and at least once a week I used to eat here, however the past two times I went weren't exactly impressive. From dry fridge cold baby chicken which I had to send back to Not cooked saffron rice and dry potato dauphinoise. I wasn't amazed ! I love their burgers and despite the £39 price tag I still say is one of the best in london. My second favourite dish is baby chicken which is served with gravy. Will I go again: Yes Food : 7/10 Service : 8/10 Value for money : not going to comment on it as its harrods and things are expected to be expensive Price : £140 ( lunch for two ) - only soft drinks

Good but not great … I was a bit underwhelmed by the food but the a ervice was fantastic though !

We wanted to eat in Harrods and enjoy an afternoon of shopping. Food was average at best, mashed potatoes had to be sent back because they were cold. Service is typical… they rush to clean your plates, but wait 20 minutes to get check. Prices were at least twice what they should be.

The steaks used to be much better , I don’t know what happened lately!

Last year I ate at this grill and my experience was outstanding. The grilled food was really very good. This year I look forward to dining there again, so I did, and I found it getting completely worse. Chicken bad cooked and also broccoli which were supposed to be grilled looked like steamed. Probably the absence of a permanent staff makes it not be as good as I remembered. The bill was expensive and it doesn’t worth it.

The Wagyu burger was just DELICIOUS. I was able to taste all the different flavours of burger, especially the beef. Do try and book in advance as there normally is a queue at all times but during peak times it's a long wait. I would recommend sitting at the bar as you get more personal care given to you (in my experience and what I have seen). And before I forget don't forget to order fries, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

A delightful open grill serving tasty food with great service.

They have a bad manager. Who is not polite and lies to us. She doesn’t know how to arrange the table. She kept us on line for one hour. I recommend you to go to all other’s restaurants except this one.

Just finished our lunch at The Grill. I was so excited to have the Kobe A5 fillet and I have to say, it was so sad and disappointing. Kobe beef had no flavor, nor texture. It was not buttery or smooth and there was no marbling. For the money they are asking it is absurd! As a world foodie traveller and having so much experience in food and cooking this is unacceptable.

For the money, they get poor marks for steaks. We’ve tried their best cuts so far over several visits (both ribeyes, Kobe fillet, wagyu strip loin). Absolutely not worth the money. Their chicken and sides are all good, but in general you’re probably better off going to a different place for high end steak.

Lovely food. Particularly like the take away lunch boxes. Always served piping hot with fresh vegetables and meat. Would recommend.

Lovely food, very attentive waiters and staff. Ordered the Australian wagyu, wagyu burger and lamb chops. Its took a while to arrive but the waiters kept us informed and compensated with free olives and Truffle butter. Keep up the work guys, your steaks are lovely

We went for lunch after going to Chelsea Flower Show we were very tire and when getting into the grill we feel so confortable. The waiter was very good and the food excellent We had chicken with French fries with parmesano and truffles

Superb. The sides were spot on and the wagyu fillet perfectly done. Would recommend truffle fries, spinach and potato Dauphinoise.

Disappointed, high price steaks , swimming in blood , not rested , and questionable if dry aged , to be full of blood , if dry aged for a minimum of 35 days . £88 for a steak only , needs to be right , all the gear , no idea springs to mind

While in London we were told we needed to experience Harrod’s Food Hall….we were misled. We waited in line forever to sit at a bar looking at dirty dishes being served by a a slightly aggressive man. Please know that I have no problem at all paying for good food, friendly in a nice atmosphere, but we experienced none of these things. The menu was limited and the food overpriced. The hall itself is stunning, but don’t be fooled by first impressions. Perhaps the food and seating at one of the other places in this food hall is more appealing? Be sure to do your homework before getting into line because the staff won’t be of any help. I wish I had been told that each food choice has their own lineup and that the different food is served at different locations around The Hall. Seems confusing….yes it was. Better still…take a look into the beautiful Food Hall and walk right through.

A very disappointed experience, bad quality of meat and poorly cooked and flavoured. For the price you will expect something better but was really bad. My partner and I left most of the steaks and I had to ask for extra bread as it was the only good thing there.

Very much enjoyed this place. Quality cuisine. Chicken not wow, but very good. The sides however was top notch. Pricing is understandable. We in Harrods. 3.9/5

Not the best today at all. My sirloin stake was not up to standard at all. But otherwise it’s always great to go back.

제일 중요한 맛은.. 그냥 그랬어요. 신선하다? 그정도. 백화점 안에 있는만큼 친절하긴 엄청 친절합니다. 대신 화장실이 멀어요.. 백화점도 처음가면 미로같아서 갔다오는데만 15분 넘게 걸려요. 예쁜 건물에 인테리어는 구경할만 합니다.. 전체적으로 평가하자면, 이런 불편함과 평범한 음식들을 예쁜 건물에서 즐기고 싶으신분들 추천드립니다.

I had a great dinner and a fantastic waitress. The food was prepared perfectly. I did walk in without a reservation and sat at the counter top/bar area. I do recommend making a reservation, especially with a larger group. When you make your reservation, they will ask for a credit card.

Poor service, extortion prices! Cheapest 200g steak £60! A very basic Caesar salad £26:95 with minimum ingredients, small amount of chicken Over priced alcohol - not a good experience !

The place is clean and beautiful, it does however reminds me of posh public toilets. We had the rotisserie chicken and wagyu burger but would NOT recommend eating here. The chicken and burger patty were too dry. I had to return the first burger as the bun was burnt. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure the steaks are nice but I won't trust a place that can't make a simple rotisserie chicken and beef burger. Our Asian waiter was attentive and helpful so the service was great.

Expensive but great taste. Biggest drawback is the small dining space and the cramped atmosphere. I don't really want people constantly walking by next to me.

The Grill - Harrods has focused on a small but well-presented menu with bags of quality. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and wouldn't think twice about returning. The pre-starter garlic and cheese bread with a vinaigrette base was an understated surprise; it's on the menu as 'bread for the table' but I kid you not, this is more than that! Our steak was flavoursome and cooked to perfection, just as we wanted. Twice fried chips - fluffy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. My biggest surprise was the salad, which essentially was a bowl of lettuce with a sprinkle of fried onions and the best salad dressing ever. Two generous dessert choices topped the meal followed by coffee/tea. Thank you @ The Grill for a lovely meal.

Personnel très accueillant, il faut juste faire un peu la queue pour manger. Nos plats étaitent très bon, des produits de qualités. Petit bémol le prix nous avons trouver cela excessif. Un demi poulet ( 30 £ ) avec un accompagnement frites ( 8,5 £) et un accompagnement MacNCheese aux truffes (8,5 £) un cocktail Manhattan (15 £) et un coca (4,5 £) attention c'est du 200 ml... Un café (4,90 £) A cela on rajoute la taxe de service à ne pas oublier.

Really overly priced for average food. We had the burger and baby chicken. Both were fairly tasty but not worth the price. However the truffle fries were great. If you require a halal diet, be aware that there is a very limited selection of halal mains, which include the beef burger, baby chicken and the Australian wagyu steak. The service was great, hats off to the staff for their attentiveness and friendliness.

One of London’s best steakhouses. Will certainly go there again. Top quality meats that are done to perfection, with great professional service. Their burgers are not to be missed. Pricey but worth it!
