The best restaurants serving American food in England

Went for a celebratory lunch, hadn't pre booked. Got a lovely welcome and shown to our table. Service and food were fantastic. Attended to by two lovely ladies, Emily B and Maize. Can highly recommend

Frequently visit this place & have never had a problem, until the 5th of April 2025. My husband & I brought some friends here that had never been before. We were so disappointed & a little embarrassed. We ordered our food but then the server came back & said “there’s no wings left” then told about 10 minutes later “there’s no JD glaze left” then 10 minutes after that “there’s no maple sauce left”. After all of this, we then received our food & my friend had a deep fried fly in his food. Then my husband had a hair in his food. We told the server & then we all no longer wanted to eat our food, that hadn’t been touched. We were told that they would remove the 2 dinners from the bill but nothing else. Which is unacceptable! We were all off put by the fly & then by watching my husband pull a hair out of his mouth from his food & we didn’t know what someone would have in their dinner next! I wanted to send an email to speak to the manager but there isn’t an email address on the website. We were happy to pay for the starters & drinks but definitely not happy to pay for the main meals.

Lewis was amazing, great service thank you. I only went in for a Coffee and a cake, very friendly and wanted to chat which is always a nice thing.

I love Miller and carter usally, and I haven’t been in a couple of years. I was really looking forward to it … my £40 steak was stone cold, along with my chips and sauce. The steak was mostly inedible. I did get it taken off the bill, however I was very disappointed. The young lady that served us was absolutely lovely about the whole situation, and couldn’t have been nicer.

Super food and very well priced. Portion sizes was very generous and Tasted amazing. Very friendly staff and our waitress Ellie was superb. Very polite and courteous and kept us well informed on when our food will be ready. Would highly recommend!!

I stayed here for a work event last week, Gemma checked me in and she was amazing, she gave me information on the area and told me the best way to get me to my work event. She was so welcoming, all the staff was amazing, thau always have smiles on their faces. Helia served me drinks in ht restaurant she was run off her feet but so so professional. The rooms are clean and what you would expect from a premiere inn. I would definitely stay at this premier Inn again.

American diner themed. Pleasant staff. Good variety. Good quantity. Don't be put off by the location. The surrounding area is pretty run down. The Iron Duke, on the seafront, would have been an ideal location for this business.

I took my aged disabled parents for lunch here. We were trying to find a suitable table and Amanda one of the staff members, jumped in, sorted a table, got an umbrella, made sure we knew where to go with the works they were having done. The 5 star review is due to the impeccable customer service, kindness and professionalism shown by Amanda. She should be used as a bench mark, it's not often nowadays that you encounter that level of customer service. Thank you Amanda.

Such a cool place with good food and really good prices! We went on a Saturday night but were quite sad that the place was empty! We came in just before 8pm and there were hardly any people in and shortly after we were the only ones. I think more people should know about this place! The decor is super quirky, staff were very friendly and food was actually nice. Definitely recommend their blue cheese chicken burger. Also, the cocktails are really good! And they’re 2 for £12 😍

Being a Muslim, I don't drink alcohol and eat Halal meat, which the meat is not halal, however Emma, spoke to the kitchen staff and they got me fish and chips which isnt on the dinner menu, the service from Emma and the kitchen staff accommodating my dietary requirements was brill, did not expect this, that you Emma and the kitchen staff for a brill meal.

The food at the Beefeater is always good and very good value but we sometimes have a considerable wait but this time the staff of Charlie, Andy and Tash were excellent. Even though they were quite busy they served with a smile in a timely manner.

Usually the food here is decent and the staff is really friendly. I believe it was the manager who served us today - pointed us over to the smallest table in the restaurant on a quiet evening. There was 3 other couples all sat in booths and larger tables. We requested to move so the food could fit more easily and as our table was very uncomfortable. Very rude manager who said ‘those tables are for 6 people’ and the booth is ‘booked’ l. Never returning or giving this shop my money again

Great food with a large and highly customisable choice of burgers, sides and drinks. We tried a smashed beef and also a chicken burger both were very well cooked and tasted amazing. Staff are super friendly and explained how we use the touch screens to order. Definitely a place to try if you are in Newcastle.

Great pub. Loads to do...welcoming friendly staff. Good entertainment and excellent food at a fair price. Found my new favourite place in moseley
