Always a great night at the Restaurant with high-quality food, very attentive service from the students who are learning, and amazing value for money for AA Rosette food from the city’s future chefs. The 3-course meal also includes a free snack and a pre-dessert, making it 5 courses plus warm sourdough from their in-house bakery. Highly recommended.

Tapas style food drip fed to table. Took 30 mins for our drinks order to arrive and a further 30 mins for some bread and pesto. Onion bhajis were a little large for my taste and smelled burned but were good. Halloumi was nice. Marsala cod couldn't taste marsala but was tasty none the less. Truffle chips came after this main course which was an odd timing. Wife had some sort of meat which she enjoyed. Larger not sold in pints but 3/4 pints. Drinks expensive by comparison. If possible get seated upstairs as downstairs lacks atmosphere. Service was slow to start as mentioned above. Was nice to spend some quality time kid free so overall enjoyed the night Neal cost £90 which was probably £20 too much to be honest.

We’ve been visiting Keelings for a long time and have really enjoyed the fish and chips. Today however I could not finish my fish, the underside like jelly and the batter the most soggy mush I’ve ever seen. The amount of oil too, I know it’s fish and chips but it was so greasy, just could not finish. Very sad as finding gluten free fish and chips is really difficult.

Came here for their well known huge cream teas!. The scones are home made and are huge! the pot of cream and jam is massive too. One of their cream teas would easily do 2 people. The only thing that lets this place down is one of the waitresses, older lady and quite miserable looking. Quite grumpy never smiles and seems to not want to be there. A smile goes a long long way, nonetheless forget this and have the cream tea, its is legendary and very reasonable too. The Latte is the best I have tasted, even better than Costa! Lunches are lovely too. Tiny little cafe but a lovely location.

Gorgeous intimate bistro in Old Amersham. Well thought through and varied small plates, great wine list (at a variety of price points) and super friendly service. Manages to have a really lovely atmosphere even though it’s such a tiny restaurant. I’ve been twice and whilst it’s not cheap, In my opinion it’s the best restaurant in Buckinghamshire - you’ll have to go to London to find something else like this. The deep fried miso rice is an absolute highlight and the desserts are proper desserts - the pistachio doughnuts with baklava syrup were dreamy. Everyone just needs to keep going to make sure it stays open!
