Went with family for Sunday lunch.Had a most enjoyable meal for the second time ina fortnight.The one child had the pasta and the three adults had the roast beef and trimmings.Food and service of a high standard .We will return.

Lindsey - great service excellent customer skills. Will visit again for sure. Great assurances and service was in line with expectation.

I stayed for 4 nights at the premier inn hotel where this restaurant is, and had dinner for 3 nights. The dinners were all lovely, and the service was amazing. Lindsey served me for 2 of the nights and couldn't have been more helpful when I was swapping a few items on my dinner. Nothing was too much trouble.

Lovely atmosphere and amazing food. Definitely recommend. Lindsey was attentive and very friendly. Guaranteed to be back.

The Sunday Roast was excellent, cooked to perfection. The staff are great, our server was Hannah and she brilliant, nothing too much trouble.

We had a fantastic experience at the bottomless brunch here this Sunday. Two couples and a friend attended and we were extremely well looked after. The food is excellent and brilliant value for money, and the number of drinks we received was excellent. I will absolutely be coming again and a huge thank you to the service staff who made our experience so special.

The restaurant was relatively quiet, we were shown to our seats provided with drinks and our food order taken promptly. We were asked if we would like all our food to come out together so we agreed and asked for this to happen. Less than ten minutes later our food arrived, I had ordered the curtail ribeye so struggled to understand how my steak could have been prepared and cooked so quickly, anyway I tucked in to what was one of the most disappointing pieces of steak I have ever eaten, I’m confident this piece of meet had been pre cooked and simply warmed up for me, it was rubbery, chewy and just didn’t taste right. Neither did the chips, I ended up leaving my meal and the majority of the food we had ordered as the quality was so poor, for a premium style restaurant the food is cooked and presented extremely poorly. The waitress asked me what was wrong so I explained and she laughed at my comments, saying well I don’t know why it’s like that how strange and wondered off to tell the chef. We settled our bill and left, who knows maybe this was a one off but I looked around as I left and shook my head as I noticed other people pushing food around their plates, until something drastically changes my advice is avoid this restaurant.

Robbie, served my big family on Father’s Day we had a big group so had a lot of wants and needs and Robbie was incredable he was efficient, bubbily and gave us such a lovely experience. Food was outstanding so compliments to the chef, never had a bad meal at bar and block will continue to come in the future. Thanks again Robbie

We had a lovely family meal together. Service was excellent and Lindsey was lovely. Made us feel very welcome and ensured we had a lovely meal and everything was to our satisfaction.

Our host was Dan H Was amazing with kids and really patient as my kids are young and well loud. Really helpful with allergies and I even offered to put tip on card he refused out of politeness. Food was perfect and host was best I’ve had before. Recommend 1000%

Took my two daughters for a meal, and despite being a few times before and it being a bit hit and miss (depending on how busy it is etc), it was excellent. The food was brilliant, and despite it being busy, and a minor issue at one point, our waitress Lindsey made sure we had the best time. She was everything you want from proper customer service. Too rare these days. So thank you Lindsey, we had a great time.

Great food, friendly and attentive staff and good atmosphere. They also had gluten free cheesecake (which was amazing)! Big thank you to Lindsey for going above and beyond. We will definitely be returning!

The food was spot on, drinks were spot on, great customer service from Lindsey, she helped us customise our order to something that was not on the menu, no complaints at all.

Visited the Winnersh branch and had a lovely evening, though my date did not like the sauce she had ordered with her steak which was putting a downer on the evening. Lindsey has spotted this and was quick to resolve the issue in a professional timely manner. Ultimately she rescued the evening and I’m grateful for the excellent service we received - she is a real asset to this restaurant, thank you again Lindsey and to the Winnersh branch.

Excellent food and service, fillet steaks all round were cooked to perfection, Lindsey was a credit to the restaurant being informative and attentive. A very pleasant experience at a sensible price, we will definitely be returning and would not hesitate to recommend to anybody

Very accommodating for large group. Despite being slightly short staffed we were looked after very well. Lyndsey in particular was very attentive

We attended the Bar + Block for roast dinner today. The waitress who served us was called Gosia, she was very friendly, welcoming & very attentive throughout. The food was great quality & delicious, it was presented hot & appetising. The manager who is a tall man was busy on the floor & making sure all was running smoothly supporting staff, he was friendly to customers & appeared to be doing an excellent job managing the restaurant & supporting his staff. The restaurant was spotlessly clean. Overall, a great experience and we will be returning here & are really pleased to have this true gem local to us.

Absolutely 100% the best place for Breakfast. High quality food and very fast service. Unlimited everything £10.99 and kids eat free. All waitresses very friendly too.

Ate as a family today at the Winnersh branch and wow what a wonderful lunch we had. 3 roasts and 1 burger. The lamb and beef were cooked to perfection and the accompanying vegetables were fresh and hot. The burger was also delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. Can't wait to return.
