Beefeater in Aylesbury Vale

One of my two favourit Beefeaters in the whole of the country. Great food and team who looked after us. Front of house & bar; Danni (truly amazing), Will/ William, Andy, Tina, and Kitchen; Louis and Aylin. Stayed twice in September for buisness and had an amazing experience everytime. Although the restaurant was busy on both occations; the team were slick, smoth and delicious and a credit to the Beefeater Brand. Well done all. Back in for a third night and the new crew on duty are maintaining the standards and excellent level of service enjoyed previously.

My wife and I have used the restaurant many times sometimes with some of our family.All the staff we met were friendly and helpful service a little slow on occasions but not their fault too many diners!.Yesterday Tina served us ,nice smile and again great service including our meals. Great food at a fair price. Recommend the filet steak - expertly cooked - and the Salmon. Enjoyed friendly and professional service from Sam. Will definitely be back.

I ordered a drink, then chose my meal. My drink came, 40 minutes later still no meal. I went to the till to complain and pay for my drink to leave as my order was obviously forgotten about. Not one apology from any member of staff. They were more concerned about the software problem and the tills going down, which after ten minutes of waiting for them to reboot they decided I can have my tonic water free. I wrote to complain, online. Still waiting for a reply over 3 weeks later. Awful customer service.

Hey Beefeater, Hope you’re all good. This is a super weird review but let’s try. Charlie, young lady, working the shift on the 26th June around 7pm. Let’s start there, what an incredible young human who is an absolute shining diamond for beefeater, I’d suggest you look after her and keep her happy - as the saying goes, it costs more to a business to replace a good member of staff. However Beefeater tonight you failed her, The Restaurant was busy enough, clean, tidy, nice ambiance - couldn’t fault it. Charlie was seating an elderly couple when I arrived it took a few minutes to be seated but we didn’t mind, she took our order after around 5/10 mins. All good so far, it then became super apparent to me that Charlie seemed to be doing a whole heap of work on her own. Running around attending to everyone to a very high standard albeit a bit delayed as she seemed to be doing it all on her own. I started to get frustrated we ordered a 2nd round of drinks which seemed to take an eternity as did the ketchup and the meal was very disjointed. Rather than moan as I went to pay, I asked Charlie her name, she seemed nervous as if I was going to complain, I commented to her that it would be a positive review of her work ethos attention to customers, and trying to please everyone. However beefeater as we all know you can’t please everyone! But she bloody well tried! As I made the comment (around 19:30pm - if you want to check your camera, my additional bill was about £9.50) The gentleman and I can only presume his wife (sorry mate if I’ve just grassed you up) also commented to say just what a great job Charlie was doing but she seemed all alone. Yo beefeater get her some help mate, also see she is rewarded because as I say you want to keep hold of her. (I would like you to reply to tell me who you rewarded Charlie) Kudos Charlie during the tough shift!

Went for a quick lunch and enjoyed the food …. Above all the service and smile Rachel provided. We will definitely be back. Well done

Yvonne served us and was absolutely the kindest and polite waitress I've seen in a while. All the staff have been stepped up since it opened and are more helpful and quicker to serve you. Great variety on the menu and we didn't have to wait long for food not drinks. Definitely has improved.

Poor experience at beefeater yet again, wanted to give it another try considering the reviews had gotten better but looks like the staff are leaving fake 5* reviews still

I visited Beefeater last Saturday. We went for quick lunch . My filet steak was juicy and tasty ….. Thank you for great service !!!

We waited 10 minutes before anyone greeted us at the host stand. Our food took nearly an hour, mixed grill overcooked and missing a gammon. Manager seemed more interested in entertaining conversations with her colleagues than helping her waiting staff with the busy restaurant. No conversation offered or compensation for our disgruntled visit.

Booked a table and upon arrival was told by the waitress that they need a get a table ready for us.. I’d like to point out the restaurant was practically empty.. with that the waitress walked away and proceeded to have a chat with her colleagues and made us wait.. Another staff member approached us and also stated that they needed to prepare a table!! The place was EMPTY! Absolute disregard for customers so decided we would be better off taking our money elsewhere! Never again!!

Tuesday evening is a great night to visit this venue. Thank you to Tash and Charlie for great service and making us smile. Thanks again.

Travelling for work I stayed at the Premier Inn and had a meal at the Beefeater. The food was surprisingly good and cooked fresh, two courses for £16 which is good value. The lady serving me was Yvonne, she was so polite and professional. She made you feel welcome from start to finish and nothing was too much trouble.

We had a lovely lunch, good quality food and great service from Andy,very helpful and friendly , extra good with our grandson.

5pm on a Saturday, quite full with a number of large tables reserved. Just a few Staff running all over the place. Young man waited on us (sorry didn’t catch his name) but he was great - just could have done with some more colleagues assisting! Food was good (a gammon and a prawn and veg skewers)

The service was brilliant waitress was jade really pleasant couldn't do enough for us told her it was our anniversary she brought us a box of chocolates over from her and all the staff had the 3 course meal deal really filled us up lovely clean place would recommend to everyone

We visited for dinner while staying at the nearby Premier Inn. The food was excellent and the staff friendly and polite. The place is clean and well appointed.

We celebrated my birthday with family and although they were very busy our waiter Andy really made the evening the food was good we all had empty plates Andy took the video of us singing Happy Birthday and joined we had lovely evening Thank you Andy

Excellent service from Tina and her colleagues who were obviously under pressure with shortages of staff but we believe they went the extra mile to attend to everyone and it showed how professional they all were.

This Beefeater is located next to a relatively new Premier Inn just off the main Buckingham Ring Road and as such is still relatively clean and smart. We ate here in February 2024 off the evening set menu. This was pretty good value although, as to be expected, the portions are quite small. Interior is smart and functional, as would be expected from a new build site. Excellent friendly staff too, toilets were also clean and fresh. Would certainly return.

Very good food and wine + fantastic service and amazing atmosphere = great dinner! We were look after very well. 5 stars from us and thank you for having good time in your restaurant! Definitely we will come back soon😁

We were staying at the premier inn next door and needed somewhere to eat. Our waitress Yvonne was friendly and informative, nothing was too much trouble. We opted for the steak and salmon from the Valentines menu, which was very good, as were the desserts we chose afterwards.

Affordable food and drinks, arrived quickly. I had the double crunch burger, it was really good, I will be back. The drinks are much cheaper than in town so it's a good place to go for a pint as well.

Really disappointed. Half a restaurant of empty tables but told we couldn’t have a table without pre booking. Nowhere does it mention that you need to pre book. And with such an empty restaurant staring back at us it really was a let down.
