Wonderful service, food amazing , definitely will come back.

We had the set four course Christmas dinner, we only had three courses as we were served the second course as soon as we sat down (so they skipped the bread board) which was either over cooked (the prawns) or half missing (the cheese soufflé)! The third course was sparse with undercooked twig like half a carrot & 1 broccoli stem, two anaemic roast potato quarters and a minute portion of turkey with no pigs in blankets or any sign of the puréed parsnips: The fourth course (or third for us!) consisted of cold tinned pears (supposedly poached in saffron) and a microwave chocolate pudding, both of which we got after a 20 min wait. A very expensive disappointment that will not be repeated!

Food was excellent. Service however was appaling. Waited 25 minutes to get second drinks. Waited half hour between each course & 1 of out party Waited 15 minutes for the sweet after other 4 were delivered. Will not be returning based on the service given.

The food was super delicious, and the service was even better. A massive thanks to Harrith who was the most professional and most friendly server we have ever had in aylesbury. He made fantastic recommendations and always aproached us with the biggest smile. The restaurant has great atmosphere. We had a fantastic time and cant wait to come back.

This was a wholly average dining experience. Both my learned friend and I had the burger. We both ordered pink, which neither was. The burger was supposed to have some sort of pulled beef, which was definitely not “pulled” and was rather just coming out of the burger in large, chewy chunks. Really quite disappointing. Wine choice was nice, service was decent, but food was slow to come. It took over an hour to get mains.

We had Lovely food there. Service was great. There was just 2 of us, the 2 seater tables were a bit too close together for my liking but all in all I would definitely recommend. The parking was great too.

We had a large staff meal here, in which ibby was our server and we couldn't thank him enough! He is a real credit to your team, he was personable and went above and beyond for everyone! It's not often you find someone so charismatic for a loud drunk bunch! Thank you for looking after us and making our team night out so enjoyable!

Great "Date Night" after some Christmas shopping. Great food and wonderful experience. Max was brilliant! Highly recommend.

New management has turned this place back around! I am happy that my favourite local steakhouse is back on top once again! Huge credit to the fantastic staff and chefs making the dining experience excellent!

I have given a low rating due to the billing. The waitress was great the food was lovely but, we ended up having to pay £50 more due to their mistake on the billing. They don’t have a set button on the till for their set menu and when a cocktail was ordered instead of the dessert, as you can on the set menu for a supplement they charged for a full price cocktail. The manager was aware of the mistake and pointed it out but still charged us. Be careful and make it totally clear you want the cocktail of the set menu even though the names are similar.

We regularly dine at Miller & Carter in Didcot where the food and service is outstanding, although the food and service in Aylesbury was a major let down, with rude staff over cooked stake and a 50 minute wait, even though the restaurant was empty. What a shame for the Miller & Carter restaurant chain.

Sophie, assistant managers and waitress, was a wonderful host and very accommodating to our needs. Her smiley friendly face welcomed us and she provided a good service with a helpful "can do" attitude.

Ibby was my waiter was a well good guy! Regular check ups great service. Really great waiter. Had I problem with my discount and he went above and beyond to make sure it worked and I didn’t pay the wrong price. Great service excellent food would definitely recommend just make sure sit in Ibby area of restaurant.

Very poor food wise... calamari starter was dreadful.. like fried cardboard... steak tiny and full of gristle.. a very poor show indeed.. bottle of fizzy water is a fiver.... Never again 😒

This was our first to a Miller and Carter establishment, and we weren't disappointed! Service was great from the moment we arrived. Our drinks and food order were taken as soon as we were ready,. Our meals arrived in a decent amount of time after ordering and our waiter Max checked that everything was okay with our meals. Both my husband and I really enjoyed our main courses, and our desserts. Max our waiter, was friendly and gave great service throughout. We'll definitely be back

We had a reservation for family lunch on Sunday. Half of tables was free, it wasn’t busy Sunday for this steakhouse. We’ve ordered three courses meals for three people. I wanted cauliflower wings as a starter, and I had CHICKEN WINGS after 40 minutes of waiting!! We had drinks quickly, but after that my husband was waiting for 25 minutes for another drink! Waiter was ignoring our table. He said “it’s very busy, and you have to wait” - that’s it! After ONE HOUR we had stakes. We’ve ordered medium rare steaks, and then we had well done 🤦🏻‍♀️ AFTER ONE HOUR OF WAITING. Waiter said we can wait for new ones… probably another 30 minutes. This is some kind of joke. We’re so disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend this place. We will not go back for sure. Waist of time and money!!!

Celebrated my Nan’s 90th here with a party of 20 people. We cannot fault anything. The food was delicious- all hot and came out at the same time. No issues with wrong orders or missed items, very impressive for a three course meal for 20 people! The service was exceptional, a special shout out to Ibby our steak specialist who was friendly and attentive throughout. We all had a wonderful time, thank you.

Not recommend . Having to say I have planned to visit them every week . Very dissatisfying service . The restaurant was completely empty, nevertheless I have been seated at smallest table between elderly couples. Could not relax. Could not enjoy. Could not eat /talk. Table was dirty. More than that been charged double than the price on the menu

Absolutely fabulous visit, brilliant attentive but not over bearing staff, who were fabulous throughout. They made a special gesture with something special when finding out we were celebrating a special big birthday for our son. A truely great evening, the food was devine and there were 4 totally empty plates at the end, a shame we didn't have space for dessert because I'm certain it would have been amazing. Thank you team

Visited with my partner and a very disappointing experience. Firstly, I know this is a steak restaurant but as a vegetarian that goes with my meat-eating family the very limited options have not changed since my first visit well over a year ago. Secondly my partner’s steak was not as ordered, the waitress offered for a new one to be cooked but that we’d need to pay for both in that case. Two people on our table had ordered this steak from our party and the quality and cut was clearly different. This should have been a treat for us, but we couldn’t pay for an extra serving and so my partner was left without any food after we sent it back. They obviously operate a customer is wrong and we know better policy.

Hi I was at miller and carter and I ordered a Rib eye stake and I was tried to be fobbed off with Rump stake. Is not nice when the manager comes out and tries to give you that I was at the butchers when they cut the Rib eye stake. What I would like to ask is that, why didn't they just come up and say we don't have any more Rib eye would you rather have something else? For the sake off £15 over. The manager lady that evening realised that she was wrong and walked away with the stake. Dear Miller and Carter Aylesbury sort your self out and deal the real stake. Not nice

Hannah was amazing !!! We came to miller and carter as a family for a birthday celebration on the 20th October 2024. And she was so observant and gave us all th information we needed. Really polite girl. Huge asset to this restaurant. The Sunday sharer board was amazing and cooked to perfection. Massive shout out to the chefs as well!!

Had a lovely lunch - exceeded expectations. Prawn cocktail was one of the best, lovely large prawns. I had the pork tomerhawk with apple sauce and it was delicious, perfectly cooked. Our server was Harith who couldn’t have been more helpful and attentive - thank you. We’ll be coming back soon.

Good place for dinner with the family, food was nice and the portions were very big. Marina was a great server. Would recommend.

The service was good, but the food was overpriced for what was very average food. There was a table of 10 men fairly close by that had lots to drink and were extremely loud. Management ought to ask them to consider other diners.

Food amazing! Magda is an amazing waitress and is so lovely to be served by her.

Food was outstanding, no issues there. The restaurant was quiet which I expected would mean prompt and attentive service. Our server was polite and funny however it took over 10 minutes from being seated to having our order taken, the main meal arrived well after we finished our starters and we then sat with empty plates and glasses for roughly 10 minutes before catching the server's eye. Dessert took almost 30 minutes to arrive meaning our three course meal took 2 hours to complete. All in all, not the service levels I expected for the price that is charged. Seeing servers cleaning tables and preparing for the following day while you're waiting to have your table cleared and next course delivered leaves a bitter taste.

Went for lunch today, great food (Thanks Nicky and Scott) was delicious and great service from Harith :)

Amazing steakhouse, went twice as I was in Aylesbury only a short while. I ordered their house steak and a full rack of ribs to share and they were amazing; great sauce and sides too. Definitely try their king prawn. On the second visit I had Harith as my server and he was very helpful; had good a chat aswell. His dessert recommendation was spot on and made the visit seamless as it should be. Although I won't be around Aylesbury for a while, I would come again just for Harith.

Why do they always let you choose your food before they tell you it isn't available! Our server was fabulous but the menu restrictions let it down on the night we visited. It was an ok dinner but not what we really wanted and we decided to leave after the main course. Would return but not high up on the list for the moment.

Your buffalo wings where very small this time, I wish the chef had put more to compensate for the small portions, I had them in my last two visits and the portions where way bigger, not fault of the staff but I wish they took it off the bill or gave a bigger portion. Still tipped a large amount as it was not fair to the waiting staff.

The meal was completely I'm edible, not cooked. On arrival we was told lack of staff but would u mind waiting for 45 mins, we then ordered and it was awful and we could not eat them at all, had meal removed off bill but has ruined my birthday celebrations. We will not be returning ever again 😒

Person who served was brilliant and knowledgeable. Kitchen let you down. One burger was burnt black, it's replacement was dry and tasteless. Signature experience was disappointing as the meat was not medium rare as ordered (overcooked) and tough. In comparison two of our party ordered rib-eye which was delicious

Meets your expectations of a Miller & Carter restaurant. Most of the staff were lovely and attentive, shame diners were squished into one area. I do understand why, especially at quieter times.

Apart from the wait for food due to staffing which the management apologised for and without us complaining they gave us our wine and desserts on the house as their way of apologising for the delay. We will definitely be going back again.

Visited Miller and Carter last night my first ever visit. There was clearly a problem, food took up to 2 hours to arrive, people were leaving and not happy. However our waiter for table 28 was professional and attentive and when our food arrived it was delicious. My experience wouldn’t put me off visiting again.
