The best restaurants serving American food in England

I've been visiting CnS for about 6 years, and across the many different "high quality end" fried chicken places I've visited in that time. I've always felt their fried chicken was the best. The crunch and flavour of the coating and the quality of the chicken, was the thing that kept pulling me back. And all the sides and other menu items I tried were always excellent. However my latest experience, was for the first time underwhelming. Most importantly, the quality of the chicken itself appears to have gone down in a rather noticeable way. While it wasn't bad, the coating and the preparation was still good, the flavour of the meat itself tasted of inferior quality chicken to what previous visits had led me to expect. This is fundamental to what made Chick N Sours so good in the past, so it's really disappointing to see this happen. It's totally understandable how this does happen from changing suppliers and higher costs etc, etc but when the cost of a meal is so high, whilst I'd like to think I'll return to give them another chance, the likelihood is I'll now be looking elsewhere for my regular fried chicken fix.

First Time in TGI Fridays, experience made all the better by Jacob! A like minded LOTR fan, he welcomed us and made us a feel right at home! We'll be seeing you soon! Lovely place, great food and good beer.

Table of 7, 4 adults 3 children. Excellent food, excellent service. Bill was just over £200. Kids menu is ok for our 3 grandchildren. Adult menu os comprehensive. I had full rack of ribs with BBQ sauce which was tasty and meaty.

Came in for a bottomless brunch, had great time got served by Kiara and Emily they were a great duo. Will definitely be back.

Friendly welcoming staff. The 12oz fillet was absolutely gorgeous, cooked to perfection and good value. Great variety on the menu will definitely be back again to try more dishes.

Came for a birthday meal with family. The service was the worst I have ever experienced and we eat out a lot. Took them 30 minutes to take the 1st drinks order then another 15 to bring the drinks. Had to then wait another 20 minutes for the food order eventually the food came and one of the orders was incorrect. Had Togo to the bar to get more drinks and was told the would bring the drinks to the table which took another 20 minutes. Service needs to improve 100% before any of us return

Love pattersons been coming for years and one of my favourite places to relax, get a bite to eat and listen to some awesome tunes. We were in yesterday and got served by Lana and she was a dream, so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. She’s such a great addition to the team!

Love the food, love the building, love the parking and the setting. Great place.

Lovely lunch with the grandchildren. Good service, excellent food and great atmosphere. If you’ve not been before, give them a try. I gaurentee you won’t be disappointed.

So sad that this place was supposed to have been 'saved' by the new owner, but has completely lost any essence of what it once was. Such a damn shame to have a brilliant venue turn into what it is now.

We stumbled across this pub purely by accident as we were driving past and as it looked busy and inviting we decided to turn round and call in for something to eat. The pub is huge with lovely outdoor seating areas and the staff are wonderful nothing was too much trouble. We did have to wait around 45 minutes for our roast dinners but we didn't mind as we could see it was so busy. The roasts were delicious and extra gravy for free what a win most places would charge. We will be back when we are back this way.

Enjoyed a steak and chips, it was so needed. Drinks were promptly served. Company wasn’t bad either 😆 Hot was great - thanks Hollie

Well to put it simply it's kinda expensive, concept around the ordering process is a bit complicated for someone who hasn't been to a wing stop before although I hadn't gotten anything to eat I was with friends genuinely a good spot to hang and eat with friends however not a big fan of the constant blasting of music like yes many other places also blast music but at a volume that doesn't hurt the ears to sum it up good place to hang with friends, eat however the volume of the music and the some what confusing concept of ordering some what puts me off as I can get much much more and way simpler at a gdk (German doner kebab)
