You should try this place .I've been a few times it's always great food , awesome wings and plenty of choice. Get on it !!!!

Great little pub, proper drinkers pub. No frills just a great pint. Great lads behind the bar. A super comfy atmosphere and an equally comfy fire to warm yourself. Love it here !

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish, we were warmly greeted by our server Alex who kindly took our coats and jackets away from us. I noticed my table was a bit too close to the wall and asked if I could be moved elsewhere, without hassle Alex quickly and swiftly invited me and my partner to whatever table we found most comfortable. The table-side wine pouring and steak cutting was beyond amazing with our extremely knowledgable server Adam who ran us through the steaks we had in-front of us and kindly prompted us to ask questions whilst also letting us record. Everything including the atmosphere was perfect and the food blew us away! I definitely do recommend and Alex and Adam are a huge tribute to the team with their attentiveness, charisma and knowledge, everything was exceptional and I would happily return. Amazing job to everyone including the General Manager who was more than friendly whilst pouring our champagne for us.

Happy new year 2024 evening event . Scored poor due to severe lack of any bring in New Year , no fireworks on screen with any count down , no traditional bring new year dancing etc . One room not fit enough with amount of people to bring in New year , it was rammed and then huge anti climax . It felt like the focus was the band , not the New year experience . No screen to watch , especially how packed it was . Servere lack of toilets considering must have been a few hundred in venue . The room you walk into had music and a screen, over the stage as there was a band on that stage for a while , more comfortable but no New Year event in there . The screen all night wasn't anything to do with the music being played , it looked and felt weird . No wonder people are confused , showing Freddy Mercury on screen singing but completely different song playing .. On the upside , everyone was friendly , staff were lovely , people everywhere were friendly, parking was OK, many just a short walk from parking . There was no issue with bars , I was the driver , coke was rubbish . Clearly drugs going on but where isn't there nowadays. Not been to this venue for 4yrs , last time was much quieter , comfortable. We booked this as pics looked great and wanted some great New Year partying . That part was a complete letdown , something we will talk about forever . Be warned , the floor gets very wet , everywhere . Food wasn't open , so I can not comment on that area . Large outside area , which was nice to see, but we didn't go out there .

Ideal location for pre-show meal and drinks. The near-by Stables is just 5 minutes down the road. The service was quick and efficient enabling either a small plates option or full blown meal. Great value menu. We had the chicken goujons and a bowl of fries.....cooked perfectly. Good news for The Stables, cos, we will be looking to repeat our evening out in the same way in the future.

The Weathercock is a lovely pub again! I've visited here for many years, and I can honestly say it's the best I can remember. Really good ales and choice of spirits, and delicious home cooked food. Dogs and children welcome. Always happy to be involved in community events, and some great themed evenings, including live music. Well worth a visit, especially if you haven't been for a while. You won't be disappointed!

The best steak in a town! Jasmine was very helpful and lovely. The food is really amazing . Highly recommend ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

The cocktail selection used to be much better and cheaper in the past. Now it’s just 6 choices for a more expensive price. I used to come here regularly, but it’s not worth anymore.

We visited the Shrnley Church end branch this evening after recommendations from a family member. We ordered the prawn cocktail and scallops for starters, the scallops were the size of a 10p piece and overcooked, the prawns in the cocktail were covered in paprika completely masking any flavour of the marie sauce, very disappointing, the ribeye steak that we asked to be medium was completely dry. Lost all flavour and the chips were awful. The lamb rump crispy on the edges. Not well done, but burnt. The pea puree was definitely not pureed but lightly smashed up garden peas. The red wine rue had not been cooked off £141 with two wines and two gins, highly disappointing Will not be recommending to others. The waitress was A*

This our favourite spot with wirk. Today with our family, we enjoyed our lunch very much. Dan, Beth and Kay were superb & very hospitalble. Will definitely be back!

Went there for pre-drinks and the restaurant / bar atmosphere was vibrant , joyful. The team members named James (FOH) and Jessie (BOH) were very warm, friendly and welcoming. The establishment is lucky to have them.

Myself and my boyfriend went here for our valentines meal. The meals were amazing, very tasty! Our waitress was Anna she was very busy but she delivered excellent service. Anna was lovely and very attentive and helpful throughout our visit. Would definitely come again especially with the outstanding service! Thank you Anna! You made our night!
