Great live music venue, went to see Ugly Kid Joe in August 24. The drinks were reasonably priced for a gig, I found the WCs to be clean enough, and the staff were polite and friendly. I arrived early and the car park was full, but there’s plenty of free on-street parking just outside. Entry was shambolic, a long, slow queue with people unsure if they were waiting for the bar or the main hall for the gig. Otherwise, 5 stars. Thanks for a great evening.

Went to MK11 to watch Ultimate Coldplay. Very good venue overall. There are two areas for live music, one in the main bar and a larger area at the rear of the venue. I would advise getting in the venue relatively early as the area is a L shape and there is not enough space for everyone to see the stage. I arrived a few minutes after the band started and had a slightly restricted first view for the first half. I would esttimate between 20 and 30 people would have had a restricted view so be warned. At the interval, the crowd dispersed and we were able to get near the front. Friendly staff throughout the venue and wait time at bars not too bad. Drinks prices are average in my opinion for such a venue. 2 pints of Madri and 2 vodka and lemonades was £24. The beer was good and enjoyable even out of a plastic glass. Venue slightly out of the way from central MK but we got an Uber fairly quickly afterwards. Stayed at Premier Inn, Willen Lake which was 10 mins away, I would recommend this.

Visited MK11 for Kickin' it Country Event. The venue needs a health warning, which is a shame as the event was very good. The ladies toilets' are disgusting. They smell and I don't think have been cleaned in a long time. In the event hall only 1 toilet out the 2 flushed and only 1 sink out of 3 worked. The toilet close to the garden smelt terrible by 9pm I couldn't even enter. They really needs to consider spending a little money on these areas, even if its paying a cleaner £15 an hour to mop the floors with bleach once a week! If you are considering eating there....I wish you luck.

Well, what a place, we went to see The Lottery Winners. The experience stated as we arrived, met by security who were brilliant and full of banter, went to the bar and was served quickly by very polite staff. The concert room was just the right size for the gig and everybody got a good view. I will definitely come back if another band I like play there. A little gem around the roundabouts in MK.

Attended the Bob Marley Experience concert. Band are brilliant and definitely worth a watch. In my opinion the organisation should have reduced capacity and charged more for the ticket as the place was dangerously over subscribed. Standing at the bottom of the stairs because nowhere to go we were constantly hassled by security to move, when we respectfully asked where we could go they marched us to the bar where you have no view of the band! The manner in which they conducted themselves was very heavy handed for an audience that was largely 60+! Lesson learned, won’t be going back 👎🏿

Been coming here for years. The new venue in the old squash courts holds more people but if you go to the bar the sound suffers & no view as it's L shaped. Just a suggestion extend the building making it square & then put the bar on the back wall. Lower your drink prices a pint of Cider & pint of coke over £10

It's not a place you'd ordinarily you'd go with a family but it's pleasant enough and we are close by. The chicken wings were quite blackened and were drowned in the sauce. Portions a tad small and generally just below par on previous visits. Used to have a couple off interesting ales on but on a Saturday afternoon they only had Doom Bar on and then that ran out and it was going to be half an hour before the Tribute came on. It's still a great place to watch sport and see bands but I'll pass on eating there for a while.

I went specifically for the Storyville Jazz, had a burger before the music started which was delicious albeit slightly pricey, the band was fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening and I will definitely go again. My only complaint is that I know it's a sports bar, but having the TVs going with football on during the band's set is not good, I feel they should be switched off during live music. Also there were only about 6 parking spaces which i thought was a bit odd, it's possible there was another car park but I didn't see it signposted.

A truly weird and most unpleasant place which is a real shame because the bar staff are very friendly and helpful, it’s in a great location with h a shortage of other sports bars and the food is ok too. So what’s the problem then?? Well it’s a biggie... Upon entering the establishment, which I did for the first time on 29th October 2018 and again last night on 6th November, I was told the main bar was out of bounds - last week with a live comedy act and last night with a live band (neither of which were very talented by the way) so I had to use the “Lower Bar” to watch the Champions League Football. Here’s where the massive problem comes in. Whether you like it or not, and if you are a non-smoker you will not... the lower bar is home to the biggest electronic cigarette shop I have ever seen and is full of people “Vaping” inside who blow out huge clouds of nicotine filled smoke constantly. I left there with my lungs burning with a bad cough. When I asked how this was legal they assured me that it was and the young man defiantly informed me that the Vape shop was his business. I asked him why it wasn’t made clear to visitors that e-cigarettes are smoked on the premises he said it was the job of MK11 sports bar and not his job. In summary if you don’t practice the dirty habit of sucking back smoke then avoid this place like the plague.

One toilet to a large number of drunken dudes is a recipe for disaster. Especially on the nostrils. I am a regular visitor to MK11 on Tuesdays enjoying a couple of drinks not knowing who will appear on stage on the open mike weekly sessions. Some nights are terrific with great musicians assisted more often than not by the excellent house band Jukebox or OFITG. Sometimes a new band takes the whole stage for 2 or 3 songs which you may like or dislike. There are a few frequent guitarists that play rock and that can leave a smile on your face. A really friendly place but be prepared also for some acts that you might be wondering why you are there - you just don’t know but that’s also part of the appeal. Free entry so that’s a plus nowadays.

I am a regular visitor on Tuesday nights from 8:30pm until close at 11:00 because they have a live band ( Jukebox mainly ) with miscellaneous singers and musicians taking to the stage, sometimes solo but usually replacing a band member to do their stuff. The majority of guests play 2 songs and Jukebox do their best to compliment the artist. On a good night there are a few super talented musicians that play a couple of rock classics and more often than not just join the band on stage. When this takes off it is fantastic but on the odd evening you may wonder why you are there !

Another great night at this venue. They started their monthly comedy night tonight. Got there nice and early at 19:20, ordered some food and grabbed some seats. Food was fantastic as always.People think burger and chips is just burgers and chips, but the ingredients and cooking here are just fantastic, my partner upgraded his "£3 comedy night burger special" tonight to £5 for some extra toppings, not expecting much more than just a tasty burger, but his dish was far superior to the specialise fancy burger places dotted around MK. Loads of choice on the menu for veggies and vegans too, top notch fries as well. Can't recommend the food enough. So the comedy night, free entry with 10 comedians onstage. Really high quality of comedian. Not exactly all to my personal tastes. But that's comedy for you, I belly laughed until I ached at others. MK11 encapsulates all you could want in a local, independent business, its run by two local brothers, who have turned the venue around and the interiors and courtyard into lovely spaces, friendly staff, serving great food, showing Sky and BT sports, offering snooker, pool, a vape bar and they cater their live music (and now comedy) to all types of fan. Live music and DJs there range from folk, to jazz, D'n'B, acoustic, rock, punk, metal and hip hop. Plus the awesome tribute bands they put on. I can't harp on about this venue enough! They cater for everyone's tastes and it's so friendly that you go there alone and make new friends easily. Support local business and check MK11 out. You won't regret it.

This place is off the beaten track and to be honest when we pulled up I thought it was shut, very bizarre to say the least? The door was a heavy duty secure door that just didn't look right. In fact we only went i as someone walked out and we could see the bar was in fact open. There appeared to be 2 separate areas, one which appears to accommodate "smokers" and is a semi outside area and another area where we watched the footy on a large screen. We only had one beer (nothing exiting on cask) and I noticed several "fruity" ciders on tap, maybe aimed at the younger end, not sure ? It appears that this place does love bands at the weekend as we noticed lots of indication that this was the case, i.e. Blackboard with a schedule list and postcards everywhere with bands on them. It's probably "Rockin" at the weekend but alas I'll probably never know. I suspect it would be a good night as the staff and clientele all seemed friendly.

I have been told on multiple occasions how impressive the food in MK11 is however I was left extremely disappointed. Ordering the Pizza fries and boneless wings I was of course surprised when the wings cake with bones and chips cold. On returning the food I was treated as if it was my fault! When returned the chips has clearly been put into a microwave for about 30 seconds and the wings had clearly been rushed as they we're not up to the standard I was expecting. However, an extremely good choice of beer. An the lady that served me at the bar was extremely pleasant and really improved the whole experience. I love MK11, Simon and Marc who run it have completely turned the place round and work so hard to make the venue a success. It really does have something for everyone, if live music is your thing, they have everything from loud rock and punk gigs, to folk nights, reggae nights, acoustic afternoon sessions to banging DJ sets. If you like a large choice of drinks, from real ale, to speciality runs or wines, then MK11 caters. More recently they've made the venue a go-to for live sports too, not just football, but rugby, boxing and wrestling to name but a few. In the summer they open up the lovely courtyard, fire up the BBQ and it becomes a draw for couples, friends and families alike. They also serve good food, whilst it's a fairly simple menu, wraps, burgers, fries etc... The portion sizes and the flavour combinations are brilliant, it's very well cooked and the veggie options are amazing. One more thing I would say about this place is regarding the vibe. It's such a super-friendly and relaxed place, the staff are awesome, complete strangers talk to you and you could easily pop in there on your own and get chatting to anyone. I've been going to MK11 for a while now, so it's about time I wrote a review! Ths place is genuinely fantastic. I've been there for football and wrestling events, and the place is regularly busy. The owners, Simon and Mark, and the staff are warm and friendly, particularly their constantly chirpy barman James. The prices are very reasonable with new choices appearing regularly. The real winner though, is the food. Today I tried their new Jamaican Barbeque Jerked Chicken burger, which was out of this world, but the entire menu is packed with amazing choices - I've tried most of them - and it's not your usual pub fare, but a range of burgers, wraps and ciabatta sandwiches which are inventive, may seem a little strange, but I've not found anything yet which doesn't work. Their beef burgers are the best that I've ever tasted, bar none. My only issue is that I can't genuinely finish a burger and a portion of fries or sweet potato fries alone because it's too much food! I have more than a dozen pubs between MK11 and my house, but they're not comparable. Despite not really being a drinker, I'm a regular here, and I will be for a long time to come. I can honestly not recommend it enough.

Forget all the "plastic" pubs and bars that seem to be everywhere in Milton Keynes, this is genuine. Not old nor pretending to be, but thoroughly independent and unique.Taken there for lunch by son, who having discovered it about 6 months ago, has raved about it since, we were unsure what to expect - a lads' den maybe. But the interior is fabulous, use of cable drums as tables, and great use of wood on the walls. Son and husband loved the screens (we were there on a Saturday afternoon) for the sport, but - and this is where MK11 wins in my estimation over pubs showing sport and the ubiquitous Sports Bars - they weren't on too loud and didn't actually inhibit us chatting. We sat on very comfy armchairs round a cable drum table, husband could see rugby, son could see football but we could all chat, really a great atmosphere. The drinks on offer are amazing, craft beers, draught beers as well as the predictable ones (not too many of those thankfully). I was also offered a choice of red wine when I asked for a glass. The prices are reasonable too.The real star, though, has to be the food! Not a wide choice admittedly but what a choice. I had the Hoisin Duck wrap and it was crammed full of meat, home made slaw and salad, more than that though, so tasty. Side order of onion rings were amazing. I love onion rings but 9 times out of 10, you are given greasy, tasteless, processed substitutes. Not here, the coating is light but seasoned and delicious, fresh onion and the whole ring. Not usually a lover of BBQ sauce either, but I really enjoyed the dip with the onion rings. The guys had boneless chicken wings which again were thought delicious, the cheesy chips were fresh and devoured hungrily. The staff are so friendly and it is obviously they who create such a great atmosphere. From the layout, it is obviously made to be a music venue and I would expect it to really come into its own then, will try and get there to check it out for sure. The only downside as I could see, and it is probably as another reviewer said because it is independent and quite new so funding, was the Ladies. Functional and clean but in need of some maintenance and a little TLC perhaps. I am sure, though, that that will be addressed.Style wise this bar is Steampunk meets rustic meets almost going-round-a-mate's , very friendly, very individual and very welcoming. A 21st century Cheers?

MK11 is a refreshing change to any of the other bars my friends and I have visited in MK. It has a great alternative and laid back atmosphere, with one of the best selection of beers and ales (bottled and draught) around, complimented by a modern streetfood-esque menu. We primarily visit for the sports-bar element of the place, rather than the music venue side, and it has firmly become the main place for us to watch sports in MK. A multitude of TV’s, including the massive projector screen, and all the main sports channels mean you are surrounded with a choice of sports. The owners are also more than happy to put on any sport you want to watch. The bar did a great job with the rugby world cup, and with an Oktoberfest/Beer Festival last year as well! The separate snooker room with a couple of tables is a nice touch, and the layout of the place means it’s easy to find either a quiet place to sit and eat, or as a group watching sport/music. Although I’ve not been primarily to see any bands or performers, having been there on open-mic nights a couple of times, and seen other reviews on TA and Facebook though, it seems as good a music venue as a sports venue. + There are always a regular and wide choice of artists performing. The food as well definitely deserves credit! I was disappointed to see the hot-dogs taken off the menu at the end of last year (seriously – they were the best hot-dogs me and my friends have ever tasted!), but the burgers and sandwiches are all great, and they seem to keep trying new and exciting sides and dishes (fistful of bacon!!). A final word on the chicken wings (with their own MK11 coating) – Phenomenal!! We always have them and can never get enough. My friends and I have taken American and Canadian friends there who say they are better than any wings on either side of the Atlantic. Prices are great to. Both food and beer is very reasonably priced, and, like I said, the variety is right up there with the drink on offer. The only reason for the 4-out-of-5 is that some of the surroundings and furniture could do with updating, especially in the garden however this is not meant as a huge criticism. As an independent bar it presumably doesn’t have the large funds that a standard brewery-run or chain bar would have, and has to work bit by bit to get better and better. Which it is. Saying that, the use of cable drums as tables is a really nice touch, and great for sitting a large group around. It’s not been open for too long compared to other places, and doesn’t have the luck of being in the middle of a housing estate or in the town centre. As it gets more popular, I’m sure it will get the finishing touches it needs to make it probably the best bar in Milton Keynes for sports and live music. The ages of customers in there we’ve seen range from people in their teens to people in their sixties, and all in between. We’re all in our thirties, and in no way feel either too young or old for the place. Original and independent bars are few a far between in Milton Keynes, and even fewer can boast live sport and great food. Some pubs and bars in the older, original areas of MK (Stony, Fenny, Bletchley, etc.) are ok, but all quite similar (albeit with varying degrees of quality). Otherwise all the other bars and pubs (or mainly restaurants in CMK!) are standard ‘chain’ venues found in any town or city in the UK, without much originality. MK11 easily stands out as a great alternative for a fun and relaxed night out, and offers something slightly different to any other venue in Milton Keynes. The staff are all brilliantly chatty and friendly, and seem happy to accommodate in every way. Since we first visited back in the summer (2015), it has since become a regular for all of us for either a Friday or Saturday night out, or a weekend afternoon/midweek evening watching football. I really can’t recommend the place enough, and it deserves all the custom it gets to keep it going!! Well and truly one of the best places I have ever been to. James the barman is very kind, welcoming and friendly so are the owners mark and Simon. If you want to go to a nice venue for live music/just a drink I would strongly recommended MK11

Spontaneous trip with some good friends to avoid the typical British weather and pleasantly surprised with this place! From the outside it doesn't look much but once inside I was pleased I came. We met a very friendly chat behind the bar and I found myself chatting away for a good while. After a few drinks we decided to order some typical pub grub but when it arrived I was flabbergasted. The Aussie burger is bloody massive and gosh darn delicious. Will be back...P.s get another pool table, these guys have been hogging it.

Whilst the exterior is ok! The service, quality of food and atmosphere that awaits you inside is exceptional. I had the extreme pleasure to visit MK11 yesterday with friends and family after a long day in Milton Keynes. We were 12 in total including our children and we were made to feel very welcome. The Service was first class and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this venue.

We were the first customers there today, and were welcomed in by the barman. He went out of his way to talk to us and make us feel comfortable. Later, after he discovered that the chef was ill and not coming in, he multi-tasked to become the Chef, Barman and Waiter all in one. Enjoyable meal, filling and tasty.

Visited here for the first time Sunday to watch the north east Derby with my partner. Lovely little setting inside, really decent prices for drinks and I had the best sweet potato fries ever! The only gripe I have is we went to play pool after the match and the cues were broken and there were no chalk or darts, as a sports bar I really hoped they would have this basic. And clean up a bit in the courtyard. Other than that - perfect x

The food was simple and totally tastey, served in a great atmosphere by very interactive staff. The food was a lunchtime menu with different nationalities represented in the forms of classic and unique sandwiches with optional sides. Sweet potato chips were the best I have ever had.

Top spot hidden away with a few cheeky snooker tables and plenty of outdoor space. Also plenty of sports. The ultimate hide away from your wife and nurse your Sunday hangover.

I was taking my husband to the moto gp in Silverstone and forgot that the All Ireland semi final was on the day we were leaving!! I emailed mk11 to see if we could watch the match there and they said 'of course'. When we arrived they set up a room for the 2 of us, with 2 tvs. The staff were so lovely and accommodating. The food was really great too. Really enjoyed our visit. Thanks all :-)

If you ever happen to be in the Newport Pagnel area of England check this place out. We went last night. This bar has been around owned by 2 brothers who have gained a love for the items they offer: Good music, choices of craft beer from around the world, and great burgers. The Dead Pony Pale Ale from Brew Dog of Scotland smelled like a floral IPA but was still smooth with no bitter after taste. The Aussie burger was juicy and the sauce was filled with flavor. The Lamb burger had a kick of heat from the roasted peppers that were cooled by the creamy feta cheese. The surprise came with the mint thrown on. One could think that something with such a distinct flavor couldn't possibly go with a food smothered in a good where you can taste the garlic throughout the rest of the bite, but the mint rounds out the bite with a pallet cleansing aspect that leaves you ready for the next bite.Where will we eat today? I'm not sure but I hope it's as good as this place.

I've been to many bars/venues across the UK but I fell in love with MK11 the moment I went to it. Not only were the staff very welcoming and friendly, with excellent service, it is a great place for live music and sports. There is a lovely garden area, plenty of parking, great choice of food and drinks at such reasonable prices, that you have to check it is the right amount! If you like live music, it has a great stage and sound in the venue, and for sports there are plenty of screens to watch it on. They have a wide range of music from touring bands to open mic nights and jams which are great fun to go to.The owners and staff have made sure MK11 is everything you want from a bar/live music venue and there is such a brilliant atmosphere there. One visit and it will become your new favourite place for a night out and definitely worth travelling to.

Hi went here to watch the first game of the season with a group of friends and it was fantastic. The game was on a big screen projector, great food menu (and food) and they serve Newcastle Brown Ale! They have both BT Sport and Sky Sports so it's definitely going to be my go to venue for sports in Milton Keynes. A thousand times greater than the MK casino!

MK11 is a gem in of a venue in Milton Keynes - it is an independent business ran amidst a sea of chain restaurants & bars. Friendly hospitality, unique music nights with a sociable & laid back vibe.I have eaten here (Kiln's Kitchen) on a couple of occassion, peri-peri chicken, corn on the cob with slaw & pulled pork wraps being my favourites!Would highly recommend a visit, play pool, listen to local/visiting bands, watch live sports on their screens...and make sure you try the food! :-)

The other week, i was lucky enough to play with my band, forest of fools, live at this venue and not only was that a huge success, but after sampling their food and singling out the Hot Wings, it became quickly apparent that these boys not only new how to host a night of music, but also, they certainly knew how to make some serious food! These wings were cooked to perfection, zingy, tangy, hot and full of flavour that exploded in my mouth with every bite! So, not only is this place a great santuary for live music, friendly staff, friendly punters, but is most definitely amongst the big hitters of this countries restaurants!Highly, highly recommended!

We went to Kiln Farm for a friends birthday lunch and we are glad we chose Kiln Farm. The service from the staff was really friendly and helpful; we were treated more like friends than customers. The menu looked quite ‘pub-y’ with plenty of burgers etc, I ended up going with a starter of the Chicken Wings with special MK11 sauce and a main of Beef shot rib with sweet potato fries. The food came out really quickly without any fuss. The food was cooked to perfection; full of flavor and the servings were pretty big too! Our table was very happy with the food and the atmosphere. We’d recommend Kiln Farm Kitchen to anyone looking for a quick, easy and tasty meal in Milton Keynes!

Went here with a group of friends last weekend after hearing good things, was not disappointed! Great place to have a drink and relax and with snooker, pool and darts available there isn't a lack of things to do. Plenty of screens to watch the sport and staff behind the bar were fantastic. Great choice of beers and we originally didn't go in to eat but when a couple of our group got some food the rest quickly followed! One of our group is a wheelchair user and staff were quick to lay out ramps for him so he could make his way around easily. Will certainly be going back!

Visited for lunch on a Saturday. What a great find! This music venue / sports bar / restaurant is a delight with it's creative decor, good customer service and excellent food. Do not be put off by the surroundings of the outside of this converted listed barn which is situated on the edge of the Kiln Farm industrial estate.....once the door opens, it reveals a venue that reminded us of the many classy and funky music venues in Seattle. Our burgers, selected from a good and varied choice, were amongst the best we've had. We chose as accompaniments to share (a generous portion of ) delicious sweet potato fries and coleslaw, which was very good. We ate in front of the stage area which was surrounded by big screens showing sports but understood that there was also the option of a quieter area . Kiln's Kitchen is semi self-service with orders for food and drink taken at the bar and recyclable cutlery etc. to help yourself to. We look forward to returning in the evening to take in some music and try another of those great burgers.

Since I have been back from Uni for Easter I have had food there 3 times. Every time it has been outstanding. The diversity and the quirky-ness of the food makes an exciting menu. Staff are friendly and helpful as well which make a nice experience. A reasonably priced menu, plus a good ale/bottle beer selection makes this an ideal location. The concept of 'gourmet street food' is a nice unique touch for a largely unoriginal and corporate town. Portions are well sized too.Really recommend to anyone who wishes to watch sports, see live music or taste fantastic food.
