Our experience at Kobe was one not to be forgotten the service was top tier the hospitality and dining environment is definitely one of my favourites. The food its self was great I have no complaints. And a special thanks to our server Alex who did a brilliant job he was super funny and gave us the best experience. I definitely recommend the sweetcorn cheesecake as weird as it may sound it was incredibly delicious (thank you Alex you were right!)

A mixed bag ... my wife's spiral fillet was superb and my rib-eye was pretty good, but my son's sirloin definitely wasn't a sirloin! Tasty enough, but not what he ordered! The sauces that accompanied the steaks were just OK (my red wine sauce was underwhelming) ... the fresh bread and olives starter was delicious ... the fries were OK, but small portions ... my Peroni beer was brought to the table pre-poured, which was odd, and didn't really taste like Peroni ... our waiter was aloof and seemed to be in a bit of a mood ... our table was right next to a brightly lit fridge displaying the various cuts of meat, and also next to the service entrance, so not great for ambience. All in all, not really worth the £150 bill (oh, and they add a 12% service charge, bringing it to £168 - I generally tip 20% for good service, but on a night such as this would probably have tipped 5% max - but of course, you don't want to quibble over a few pounds, so you just pay the 12% and leave) ... but all in all, I'm not sure we'll be going back.

Massively over priced. Chicken starter was presented beautifully but shame it was like eating rubber. The wagau burger flooded the plates of the 3 of us that ordered 1, the meat didnt fill the unfresh bap, really not good would have got a better burger in mcdonalds. It was nice of the staff to go ahead and ad a £13 service charge for a short stay and a terrible meal. Will definitely not go back.

Perfect for a special meal. Great selection of starters and plenty of choice on the menu beyond the steaks (although I’d recommend the steaks!) It’s rare to find a good independent restaurant in Milton Keynes, and this is from the same people behind the French Affair in Stoney. Well worth a visit.

Took my beautiful wife there for our 6th anniversary. From the moment you walk through the door it’s a wow. The staff were great and gave just the right amount of attention. As for the food… bellisimo. I’ll definitely be going back for my birthday in October.

By far the best steak we have eaten - beats the top London restaurants hands down. We had a sirloin, fillet and ribeyes all cooked differently and all superb. Unfortunately we are not local but next time we are in the area we will be back!

Nice place, first time here quite impressed once you go through the door. Decoration beautiful, food superb and service was great. We order Steak was perfect cook. Price quite expensive but worth it.

Food is absolutely excellent - delicious steak, well cooked. Lovely side dishes. Good wine list. Cocktails were unfortunately disappointing - very weak. I did comment on this and got the impression that the staff don’t like customer criticism! They did remake my cocktail and it was slightly better the second time but nothing like it should have been. The 15% service charge, which is automatically added to your bill (we were a party of 2), is a bit steep in my opinion. We ended up paying a £25 tip - ouch! I would return for the steak but next time we will skip the cocktails.

Nice setting, good service. Beef tartare was excellent. We ordered tke Kobe sampler and some other steak for the table. Unfortunately, the steak arrived over-cooked and under-seared. We did point this out to the waiter who was unresponsive. This is very unfortunate, as the quality of the meat was excellent. We didn’t want to create an issue by returning the large platter and fortunately the dinner was saved by the excellent red wine, but a steakhouse should pride themselves on getting the meat right. Dessert was fantastic.

The service at Kobe is absolutely fantastic. The food is incredible but the service is what makes this place special. We have been multiple times and will continue to return, our favourite restaurant in MK.

Another fantastic evening out celebrating my friends birthday - superb service from our waiter and Razvan - great atmosphere, and considering how busy they were nothing was too much trouble A lovely round table booth style - perfect for our girls get together for a birthday Great quality cocktails which helped wash down a totally delicious meal I always order the scallops - and yet again they didn't disappoint, so tasty and juicy Sirlion steak - cooked to perfection, delicious blue cheese sauce and a side of asparagus with bacon crumb - yummy yummy! Other members of our party had the steak salad, the rump and the burger - everyone enjoyed every bite of food Everyone is still talking about it this morning! Cant wait to go back and try other items off the menu

Lovely main food, dessert would have been nice if a menu was available to read and to see the prices rather than the 5 or so desserts brought out as an example. Though as a group, we all thought that the music was too loud when you're having dinner and trying to have a conversation without shouting at one another.

This is our second time at Kobe and we would not hesitate to say this is one of the best restaurants in Milton Keynes. The food is fantastic and there is good choice even if you are not a steak eater like me! My husband and step son LOVED their steak! The service is top notch and you feel very well looked after.

We had a lovely time at the Kobe steakhouse & lounge. On arrival we had to wait a few minutes for a table so sat at the bar and ordered drinks. With in about 5 minutes we were shown to our table, they hadn’t even finished making my cocktail but brought it over to us as we sat down. The service from start to finish was perfect. The starters and nibbles were delicious, the service was quick and efficient. The steak was cooked and served to perfection and the red wine sauce that I chose to go with it was divine! The ambience in the restaurant was cosy and relaxed, even though the restaurant was full, absolutely can not fault a thing about the whole experience, thoroughly enjoyed it and will most definitely return, special mention to our waitress Christine who did a fabulous job along with all the bar tenders and other staff. Thank you very much, it’s clear to see what a great team you all are.

Went to the Kobe Steakhouse last night with colleagues for a business dinner. Overall the food and staff were excellent, with a very tasty Ribeye steak for my personal selection of meal, which was cooked perfectly. Staff were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, which was good. The restaurant was not particularly busy when we were there, but as we started at 18:00 on a Tuesday evening, it could get busier later, but overall restaurant was well laid out and tables and chairs comfortable. You might want to be a little careful, as the bill can add up quicky, especially as there is a 15% service charge added to the bill automatically. One point to note and its just a personal preference, which is the chips with a good steak meal should really be chunky chips and ideally triple cooked and not fries, which was not an option on the menu. However the fries that did come were very good and tasty, so just a personal preference. Overall definately worth a visit if you are in the area.

I eat a lot of steak so I've got a good idea of what a good steak is. I had a 400g rib eye, honestly it was amazing, probably the best steak I've ever had. We had a table for around 20 people on Saturday night. The service was spot on and all steaks were cooked exactly as requested. Compliments to the chef and staff.

Another amazing dinner at Kobe Steakhouse. Service is amazing, quality is amazing, there is nothing to fault this resturant. I have recommended this to several people and everybody who goes loves it. If you are a fan of steak and go to places like Hawksmoor in London, Kobe is just as good.

We came here for our 10 year anniversary and it did not disappoint! The food was amazing and the service exceptional, Rocky the waiter could not do any more he is an asset to the business. We had a wonderful evening and would definitely go back again. The music was slightly loud but that did not ruin the experience. Would definitely recommend!

The food was lovely, we came here for a casual meal and my boyfriend requested a drink that was not on the cocktail list but the bar still made it for him. They definitely went all the way to satisfy our needs during our experience in the restaurant on the 21/12/23 at our 5pm reservation. The waitress was so sweet and lovely. Unfortunately I don’t remember her name but she was so accommodating and showed amazing quality of customer service.

Popped in for lunch before going sledging. The service was amazing - warm and attentive, the atmosphere is cool and cosy, and the drinks are delicious. But the food is the standout. My lamb fillet was incredible, and my son's steak was legit one of the best we've had! Cooked perfectly! Can't wait to go back!

I have been on multiple occasions now. The first time we tried the Kobe sampler to get an idea of what we preferred and it was all cooked perfectly at medium rare and it was excellent quality steak. Furthermore we had the scallops for starters which were superb. On our second visit, we went for 400g of fillet each and 200g of A5 Wagyu. Wow. I cannot recommend a steak more than I am now. You simply have to try it to understand. The Tuna carpaccio was also amazing with the foie gras simply to die for. Finally, the cocktails are a perfect balance and there is plenty to choose from. Thanks you to the team! I will be back!

We ordered KOBE SAMPLER expecting to try some Kobe meat and we discovered afterwards that the meat wasn't even KOBE. Very cheeky advertising!! Meat was nice and tasty but is not what they offer on the menu.

Last minute booking for between Christmas and New Year, and the steaks were so tasty! I’ve been to lots of steak joints and this was one of my favourites. We didn’t go fancy with the Kobe, we just had a fillet and rump but they were really tender and cooked rare just as requested. I also had a margarita cocktail, which was lovely. We were there at lunchtime and it was quiet but really nice ambience with the pretty furnishings too.

There is a nice selection of drinks and cocktails, we would certainly recommended for cocktails alone. The food is really good and the service first class. It was quite quiet, when we were there, so it seems best for a quiet, sophisticated or romantic meal. But, it may be livelier at other times.

Lovely environment posh decor great food. Wine is overpriced and sides are on top of quite expensive mains. Unfortunately we were sat right under a music speaker so conversation was difficult. Very good and fast service which was fine as we only had a one and three quarter hour slot but didn’t feel rushed.

We went for the first time to Kobe steakhouse in mk after going bowling. Rocky was so helpful and friendly. We will 100% go back and hopefully be served by rocky! One of the best place for having a delicious steak. I am still savoring the memory of that meal! As someone who appreciates a good steak, I was blown away by the quality and flavor of their signature steak dish. The meat was cooked to absolute perfection – tender, juicy, and bursting with rich, savory flavors. What made our experience even more delightful was the ambiance of the restaurant. It had a cozy, welcoming vibe that made us feel right at home. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a pleasant dining experience.

I asked for mashed potatoes instead of fries that come with the steak. Still got fries.

We had a lovely celebratory meal here. The staff were super attentive from the moment you walked through the door. Food was fantastic, the atmosphere and decor was beautiful and our table was really cosy. Will definitely be returning.

Such a disappointment. There was a problem with my steak - which was rectified, but too slowly. So by the time my replacement came my partners dinner was lukewarm. We were each given a drink by way of compensation, but not asked what we wanted so were given a drink that I don't like. A real shame because the place looks lovely and probably a great meal when done right.

A relaxing, well appointed restaurant. Food was very good, chicken supreme and Waygu burger delicious. Drinks were a little more expensive than expected, but otherwise prices were ok. Good service from staff and piped music with smooth jazz covers of contemporary songs.

I have to say tonight’s service, drinks and food was absolutely fantastic. From the start to the end your team couldn’t do enough for us, unfortunately one of our friends was Ill so they had to cancel, however we thoroughly enjoyed our selves. The steaks, sauces and sides were amazing, I had the 500g ribeye and I have to say it’s one of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten. Thank you again, what a place, we will be back very soon.

Really impressed with the whole package. From decor to atmosphere to service and food. A friendly greeting upon entering and being shown to our table quickly and without fuss. The menu is clearly laid out with plenty to tempt. We opted for shared maki rolls to start and 400g sirloin cooked rare and a 200g fillet mignon cooked medium rare. Both steaks were cooked to perfection and were tender and packed full of flavour. Sides were asparagus with bacon crumb and roasted carrots with honey and hazelnuts. Perfect. We skipped dessert as we wanted the steak taste to last as kind as possible. The music was beach house/deep house and fitted the atmosphere perfectly. A definite recommendation if you are a steak lover.

Amazing experience with the highest quality steak. Great wine and cocktail menu and the most attentive staff I've ever met. The only criticism is that there was no break between the starter and main. Good but quite expensive for the food they serving, and a menu not explaining that some product is in grams but you need to buy one kilogram of it which will cost you much more then it is on menu for same product in grams ...

Food is so good.. Nice atmosphere.. Update.. food is still so good.. and service better.

It felt like a rip off. Food was ok, but the steak was only served with fries and no salad, not even a single leaf. So we had to pay extra for salad as a side. Coffee was very poor, deserts menu with unknown prices until you get the bill. Service very average, not worth the service charge added on top of the bill. Milton Keynes has better places for this price with better food and with better service. And I don’t mind paying the extra when it’s worth it. Not going back for sure.

Amazing atmosphere. The dimmed lights and the fake plants created a lovely atmosphere. The service was very good however on one occasion they forgot about our drinks (we could see them sat on the bar for a while) and we had to remind them for them to bring them to us hence why knocked one star off. Other than that everything was great. The food was delicious the servers were super friendly and happy to answer any question of ours as well as meet every need/ requirement. Very happy with this place overall
