The best restaurants serving American food in South East

Really great food, definitely needed a new burger place after losing Bok Shop, can say Cluck & Blade are on par when them! Hopefully they’ll get the recognition they deserve considering they’ve recently just opened in Eastbourne. Staff are friendly, could maybe do with slightly quicker service and maybe less time talking to their colleagues, but in all fairness it wasn’t very busy when we went. Overall 5 stars!

Wow! The burger was AMAZING! Best I have had in a LONG time! Onion rings & chips also very very good - do not miss out on the Green sauce! Lovely friendly staff & relaxed atmosphere with good vibes on Saturday - perfect lunch spot! Will DEFINITELY be back! Well done guys!

We arrived early evening ordered food which was fine at 7.35 we were told kitchen was closed so we were unable to have a dessert website states that kitchen closes at 8pm no worries as none of the party wanted a dessert. Last orders was called at 9 pm what pub closes at 9? We were out for the evening looking at the website it says that the bar closes at 10.30 ! Don’t think we will be going for an evening out at the railway tavern again which is a shame .

We used their takeaway option for us and our two guests. We had two steaks and two burgers. The food was hot, delicious and well packed. The service was also friendly and efficient. We will eat with Rancho again soon.

Big up Mimi for the fantastic service. Really attentive and friendly right from the off, and so quick with the order and food too. Sidenote, overheard the staff chatting to each other and it's refreshing to hear people actually care about diners, being professional, and still having a laugh. Sign of a really good place and work culture. Sixth time here and have never been disappointed! The burgers are undisputably the best in the South Coast and the variety of sides and starters are great too. Nonna's Hash Browns are a personal favourite, and the Triple B is a great burger. Normally get the dirty fries too, but it's January and I'm meant to be on a diet.

Our expectations was higher that we experienced , we all know good steak restaurants are expensive however with our steaks can’t say that worth the money was ok but not the best we had fillet steak was cooked how we liked however was strangely chewy but eatable , service was ok however wasn’t worth the amount of we’ve been charged ! Without a long review our meal was over all was ok but not fantastic also it’s very expensive just be prepared ! We had better steaks elsewhere!

Terrible experience, waiting nearly an hour for breakfast to be told the order hadn’t even been put into the kitchen well definitely NOT recommend this place to anyone, first time experience too not a good look custom cafe

Went here tonight as a late mother day dinner and was taken care of by Abhi. What can I say, nothing short of an exceptional dinner and even better service, we couldn’t have had a better time, even if we had tried we’ll definitely be coming again and recommending to friends and family!!!!

Had booked a table for a work event well in advance. The Woods cancelled last minute without warning leaving us saying they could no longer accommodate with no other alternative. No apology to be had and WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!

Wow! I cannot believe how much in just a few years how Blacks has changed for the worse. A few years ago when I last visited I absolutely loved the food-the burgers were juicy and delicious. Yes a little bit more than a high street burger joint but at the time it was worth it. This evening’s experience has resulted in me never going to Blacks again. Over £50 for two burgers, two fries and two buds. The burgers were small and thin, the meat quality was poor and the cheese and bacon were nothing to write home about. The waitress asked if we needed any sauces and duly delivered a plastic bottle of mayo to our table covered in some other coloured sticky sauce! Lovely! Sadly, blacks are no longer anything special or a cut about any other burger joint, which they once were. Very disappointed by the food, the service and the overall experience. Really not worth the money. Sorry guys, just being honest here-you’ve lost my business

I eat here quite often, the sea bass is fantastic, the chicken salad is a nice size and absolutely lovely and the signature burger is full of taste. The service is great, Andi in particular is very attentive and happy. I recommend Bar +Block to locals and for people staying away, really good value for money

Me encanta la comida picante, pero eso fue asqueroso. Permítanme también mencionar que los llamados quesos Mac 'n' también son una estafa y apenas se puede probar los quesos Mac 'n' que se sienten dentro de esos bolsillos fritos. Así que los platos bothh fueron un desastre y pagamos £ 23. 40 por solo lo que se puede ver en el plato. Realmente no vale la pena la lucha y el dinero para visitar este lugar. Always have a great time at the Mulberry. Lovely building, great outdoor space, helpful staff and good food. Good games room upstairs with pool tables, darts and table football. Great food and music too!
