I have been coming to 7Bone for a decade. First one opened up across from my house. TLDR; - Great burgers - Great milkshakes - Fries options are creative but sometime lacking substance - Good vibe instead - Great staff.

Really frustrating. The (obviously baked) lad tried to charge me for things which never turned up and couldn't have cared less that we weren't happy. "Everything good with your meal" well not really... "Great!" Food is good but nothing amazing or special but it's not a great place to be. The layout is a mess and the furniture is uncomfortable and undersized. The menu is more about being wacky than functional and the qr code nonsense (in 2024? Isn't everyone sick of this?) doesn't work in a signal dead zone. At least put the wifi password next to it? Who cares

Came here for the first time last night whilst visiting family. Wow ! Food was AMAZING, the best and hugest chicken burger I've ever had...it was perfect., and the fries were fantastic too, crunchy with delicious toppings. The biscoff shake was beyond fabulous. I literally cannot speak highly enough of the food, here..... I'll never get McDonalds again after this experience. We were waited on by the lovely Patrick who could not do enough for us.....what a fine fellow he is and a credit to the company, plus another lovely young lady who was just learning the job. I'm just sorry there isn't one near us. 7bone PLEASE open a branch in Oxford !!!!!! We'll be back for sure and will spread the word about this brilliant burger joint.

About a 15 minute walk from West Quay but it’s worth it to avoid the crowds and for some banging food. We ordered 2 burgers, fries and some sides. Ordered from the QR code but the staff were still very attentive throughout. Food quality was great but you need it fresh to make the most it. If you order for home delivery, you’ll probably lose the crunch. I think 7 bone kicks the ass out of 5 guys in every way.

How does a burger cost twelve quid?! Admittedly the burger was nice but they are also tiny. My main moan is if u pay £12 for a tiny burger is it too much to ask to throw a couple of chips in? Nice but way way overpriced, plus no chips. Poor effort.

I had been meaning to try this place out for a while as my partner had been raving about their burgers and dirty fries. When we got there (early thursday evening) it was quite empty, so felt a tiny bit akward, but the friendly staff and tasty food definitely made up for it! I ordered the first burger off the menu (can’t remember the name but it’s a classic one) and I honestly think it’s the best burger I’ve ever had. This was the first time I didn’t have trouble finishing a whole burger, it was just too good! The dirty fries were delicious as well. The sauce and bacon bits were very good, it was the perfect side for the burgers. I love that they do take out as well and I’ll definitely be ordering 7Bone in the future, yum!

Hour wait for a table. 45 minute wait for food. Not a single table cleared. Restaurant full of delivery drivers who get priority to dining customers. Overpriced bland grease burger.

La buena comida, como siempre, nos acomodó en poco tiempo cuando otro restaurante nos decepcionó, el personal amable, servicial, siempre se puede confiar.

Nuestra noche en 7 Bone comenzó con una explosión. El ambiente y las canciones sonaban fenomenal. Para empezar, pedimos licitaciones de RFC y un taco de hamburguesa con queso. Aunque no soy muy fan de las ofertas, mi novia realmente las disfrutó. El taco de hamburguesa con queso era fenomenal también. La salsa, el relleno, todo estaba en su punto. Luego vinieron los principales y sus lados de papas fritas. Pedí el pollo grande, esperando una deliciosa hamburguesa de pollo. La hamburguesa en sí estaba bien, nada especial, como tu Joe promedio. No estuvo mal, pero tampoco estuvo bien. El verdadero problema era con las papas fritas. Pedimos papas fritas sucias y papas fritas con queso chile. Las papas fritas sucias tenían la misma cobertura que el taco de hamburguesa con queso, pero esta vez la salsa era extremadamente agria, y la carne picada en la parte superior se quemó como carbón y masticable, por lo que es repugnante. Nos quedamos muy decepcionados después de un gran comienzo de nuestra comida. Por otro lado, el tamaño de las porciones fue masivo, lo que es positivo. Íbamos a explotar al final de nuestra comida. En general, esta comida fue una montaña rusa para nosotros, con grandes entrantes, seguido de una buena red y lados no comestibles.

Went to get a take away was told 15-20 mins came out after 35 mins, waitress did apologise, got food home to find it literally all thrown together, my partners burger didn't even look like it had been cooked 😳🤢 probably wouldn't go back in a hurry was our first time having it since it moved from portswood, shame

burgers smaller than in mc donalds! in the pictures they look much bigger than in reality, very expensive! for such a small burger, the fries were not fresh, and the halloumi was spicy despite the fact that it is not written anywhere, and it was also not fresh or good quality! . I do not recommend

The food in here is top notch. The sevice is fast and friendly! Get the wings in fish sauce! Get a burger... but Get it smashed ! Holy sh1t ! And the prices are amazing 👏 Next time I'm in Southampton il be back here .

Ordered a takeaway burger. Walked in to order staff were helpful and friendly told me it would take 10-15 minutes. Walked back in 10 minutes later and they were bringing the food to me, great service. The burger and fries were both excellent going to go back again to get another burger.

Siempre me encantó la comida y desde que me hice libre de gluten había descubierto que hacían bollos sin gluten, pero me decepcionó encontrar que el personal no tenía idea de lo que era libre de gluten, la aplicación mostró el pollo como libre de gluten, pero finalmente la cocina confirmó que no. No fue gran cosa como yo sabía para comprobarlo tres veces. Me encantaría que introdujeran pollo con masa sin gluten, ¡¡extraño comer el pollo con suero de mantequilla!! Pero aprecio que tengan los bollos de GF. Hamburguesas jugosas.

We were caught short after a bad experience at another restaurant and asked for a table for 9 on very short notice. The staff were helpful and friendly and arranged a table for us straight away. This was our 3rd visit and as always the food was incredible and everyone got exactly what they ordered quickly. We were again pleased with the service as the gentleman that served us was polite, attentive and friendly. He had served us also on a previous occasion and was great then too. We will definitely be returning again and can’t wait to try some different things on the menu!

Fast food at its finest. Finally a shop where food tastes really good and will definitely fill you up! The service was also great and the employees were very nice.

If you want a really dirty burger look no further! And if you want a really dirty vegan burger - hurry on down! I love the amount of vegan options there are at 7 Bone. This was our first time at the Southampton one but we’ve been to Portswood (when it was open) and Portsmouth. The first time I ate a vegan burger at the Portswood one I had to check I actually got a vegan patty. They’ve changed the pattys since then I think but they’re still good. Sadly the vegan tenders aren’t as big as the chicken tenders but they are tasty. I love the garlic mayo! I got the Robert Johnson which was delicious!!!!!!! My husband got the One Big Chicken and I’m not sure if they ran out of vegan chicken patty’s but it had tenders in it instead. It was still tasty but a bit more tricky to eat. They are all designed to be messy burgers though. We got a portion of fries between 3 of us and they were plenty with a burger and 3 tenders each. The staff were also super sweet and friendly. Even though we ordered via the QR code they were very polite and happy when the brought everything over.

Nice choice, delicious burgers and a hell complicated menu where there is no chance to figure out anything. This place would double the traffic if not triple if they would simplify the menu.

I was disappointed with my smash burger and fries, both were incredibly salty, in hindsight I maybe should have said something to the very friendly staff member, my partner on the other hand loved her burger so I don't know anymore, I'll say that if I just got unlucky that both items I ordered were accidentally over salted and they normally aren't like this then it's a good burger place, reviews are overwhelmingly positive but I can only judge what I got.

Service was very very good. Loved the burgers. Juicy and perfectly done. Portion size could however be larger. I had had a large lunch so I was ok. Otherwise the single patty burger would not have been adequate. Will definitely visit again.

We've been die-hard 7bone fans since their restaurant launched in Portswood, and we loved their chatty, knowledgeable staff telling us all about the burgers and how they're cooked etc. You could see how passionate the team were. Unfortunately the restaurants are now all self-order via a QR code so you get virtually no interaction with a waiter, and no insight into the latest products or what might go well with your order. We went to the Bedford Place restaurant tonight at 5:30pm on a Saturday, and it was near empty, with intermittent music and zero atmosphere, but worst of all the recipes have changed (the waitress confirmed this) meaning our much loved orders no longer taste or look the same. The meals are now around £15+ per person, and in my opinion just aren't worth it. Bring back waiting staff who talk to you and hype up the brand, truffle mushroom sauce that actually tastes rich, burgers with a tasty mince, and buns that aren't just full of air.

Burgers was good,like 4* the curry fries were very quite poor. For £7 just a side of curry sauce and chicken. the dirty fries or chilli cheese fries are much better value

Discovered 7Bone by accident and I’m really glad I did! Fantastic burgers (love that you can choose to get it served pink!), fabulous friendly staff, really interesting menu options and a great selection of beers. Loved the caramel fish sauce wings and the Triple B burger. Will be back!

Firstly, this place is card only. Already a big no no. Somewhere, someone is making a killing on forcing people to pay only with cards. Somewhere else someone else, some evil genius, got the idea of convincing everyone that paying more for things was a good idea. What, you didn't realise that you pay more for the "convenience" of paying with a card? You think the restaurants foot the bill? Really? Personally I like controlling my own money and choosing if I want to pay more or not. If you do too, give this place a miss. Secondly, you have to point your phone camera at their menu in order to order, which is a very depressing thing to have to do to get a meal. Fortunately, I don't have a phone. Instead I had to order in that dumb fusty old fashioned talking-to-people way. Anyway, before ordering, you must first get past the overbearing, inpenetrable and achingly mawkish menu, by which I mean, if you must figure out what any of the dishes actually are (because they're all written in this kind of pseudo hip gibberish and explain nothing, because explaining is so very "not cool"). If you can get past this really basic hurdle, you'll find that the food is really ok. I don't really remember what I had, but I do know that it was ok. The chips were over salty. The servers were basically absent because they don't have to do anything. If you want burgers and don't mind paying more than you should to eat them, considering the unappetising fact that you will be pointing your phone at the menu like a robot, you might try this place out.

Great burgers, great sides, great prices. You can order at the table using a QR code, which is quick and easy. The new location in the centre of town is much nicer.

We got vegan menu options which were sooo good😍😍😍 100% recommend the Prince Charles is overrated vegan burger. Loads of choice and the food was delicious. The atmosphere is also great thanks to the decor and lighting. One small thing I would change is the portion sizes- it’s quite expensive so the burgers could have been bigger.
