Burgers were superb, service was excellent. Place had a lovely vibe and was full, even on a Wednesday evening. £5 cocktails looked amazing. Will definitely be returning.

We showed up at closing after a long drive. They were so nice, never mentioned they were closing and made us the best burgers!! I only wish we lived close because we would definitely be regulars!!

Great to visit here today with my son, a cosy and cool ( not easy to achieve) place, very welcomed and attended by the staff. The burgers we both had were so tasty, will be returning soon

We'd seen the reviews and thought we'd better give this a try and boy, are we glad we did, as friendly staff and delicious food make for the perfect restaurant experience! We ordered burgers, fries, tater tots and drinks. Gotta say, tater tots are new to us and these were so morish. So whatever you order, grab a side of these, you will be so glad you did. As for the burgers, so tasty, well cooked deep flavours and piping hot till the last mouthful. These are right up there with the best burgers we've had! Will we go again, most certainly!

Came here for drinks, the service was great and the drinks were too but my friends and I found it a bit uncomfortable that the mens toilet was only for men but the womens toilet was a mixed gendered toilet? I think this is a bit ignorant considering women need a safe space, especially in bars where the chances of getting in an uncomfortable situation are higher around alchohol- why not have them both mixed gendered, why just the womens toilet?

Fantastic burgers, quite possibly the best burger I’ve ever had! The cocktails are also great. Wednesday nights currently £5 a cocktail, can’t go wrong. Busy little place with a good atmosphere

This review doesn’t need to be long and drawn out. This is in the top 3 burgers I’ve ever had. A cool and chilled out vibe. Friendly staff and one hell of a double bacon cheeseburger! If you’re in town and looking to grab a bite then this place will not disappoint. Lovely staff and a great location!

The “restaurant” was almost full when we arrived, but we had pre booked a table. We were seated in a booth. We were then asked if we were having food … !!?? Erm, yes of course, we thought. The menu looked good, couldn’t decide on which burgers we wanted. We had double cheese burgers & fries, plus Coca-Cola. Food arrived really quickly. Looked really good, was really good. Up there in the best burgers I’ve had. Here’s the issue .. every other table in the “restaurant” was over crowded with students? Or very young people ordering drink after drink. Yes it was 2 for 1 cocktails, but we didn’t realise it was more of a “bar” these days. We’d been recommended by so many friends to visit here and no one mentioned it being a bar. It got very loud after 9pm. We were desperate to leave, which was disappointing as we wanted to enjoy a meal and some drinks. We felt we couldn’t do this. The toilets were gross- like nightclub loos. The fact they had to have posters referring to drug use said it all in the end. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone and would not visit again. It’s only a 3 because the burger was so good!

I had the burger wit cheese, my husband had "the Kevin bacon burger" and we had kimchi tater tots on the side, both burgers were really juicy and tasty. Tots were quite spicy but lovely. Will definitely go back again.

Went out for a casual bite to eat. Table booked for 6pm on a Saterday evening. Friendly greeting. Seated in a booth that was intimate enough to chat but also enjoy some great 80's funk music and the relaxed dive bar vibe. We had a variety of food & drink that was excellent in every way. Great burgers! Oh and quite reasonable too. Thanks guys and well done.

Looking for a place to sit and get a decent bite to eat. Came across the Lucky Chip. Heard they were very good. Didn't disappoint. Just talked to my mum who said "that was an excellent burger I had last night." Well done Lucky Chip!

Good honest food. Simple, fresh ingredients cooked well and reasonably priced. Friendly atmosphere, the staff could not have been more accommodating and welcoming. Great evening, we will be returning customers for sure.

Terrible experience for my friends and me, the drinks were really bad, ranging from bland to completely undrinkable, the staff were rude bordering on aggressive, an hour of our lives we won’t get back! There are lots of really nice bars in Folkestone, don’t waste your money going here!

Allways room for somwere that dose something really well lucky chip manages that with its burgers and different fries good cocktails and a. Suprising wine list make up the place well worth a detour for a great burger

We came here for my brothers birthday and it's a great funky little place! Great music and atmosphere, fantastic burgers and the roasts look amazing! I will be back to try one of them very soon!

Found this bar on spec on an impromptu night away , It had a really good feel , great music and the cocktails where different to the normal premix crap! We didn’t eat , but the burgers looked fantastic and we will be going back to try them when we are next down

I was expecting so much more , have always used big boys but have been told nothing but good things about lucky chip . Took some persussion but i was not impressed it was expensive and not worth the money . The burger its self...

Im Lucky to be in folkestone and nearby in this bar. Good food, friendly staff and great atmosphere. You should try buffalo chicken wings and the Burger is best.

Drinks are fun here. Get a table outside and watch the world go by as you sip on a craft beer or classic cocktail. Very simple American food menu, but we didn’t try the food. Music and friendly staff create atmosphere. Would visit again.
