Booked to have dinner at The Herd for my husband’s 50th birthday. It was the first time that we have been to The Herd and were very impressed with the food. Gigi performs her magic, by cooking your steak in eye-shot. We asked for our chateaubriand to be medium-rare and it was perfect, which does not always happen in some places. Was well worth the visit and will definitely be back. The only negative, was that the room was a bit chilly when we arrived.

Today I tried Bad boys Burgers and Wings for the first time and the food is so good especially the whole chicken roast, it was very delicious and very well cooked inside highly recommended 👍🏻

Four stars is a bit generous, but my steak was so good, I feel I would be doing this restaurant disservice rating it any lower. Steak was cooked to perfection, it was tender and tasty. Burgers and chips were delicious judging by the speed my children polished them. Overall presentation of my food was lacking and vegetables were not very good. Although the lady serving us tried hard, there was just not enough staff for the number of tables and customers. The service was very slow and when we asked for additional items (ketchup, extra glass of wine, etc) it took ages for them to arrive. From the moment we finished the main meal to getting our desserts, it took 40 minutes. And speaking of desserts, it would be nice if there are some lighter choices (there was no desserts less than 700 calories unless you went for mini dessert!).

Attended miller and carter Maidstone 22/4/25 for my son’s birthday. As always amazing service special shout out to “Spud”. Friendly, explained everything clearly, didn’t rush us. Amazing. Thank you.

This is around the tenth time we have been to Quills Restaurant in Rochester. As usual it was excellent food, very friendly service and the time from ordering to receiving our food on the table was very quick. It is a lovely atmosphere, with pleasant music playing. Not too loud so you can easily converse with your friends at the table
