Fantastic pub with a unique American menu. Food was delicious.

Small and very friendly pub tucked away in Ringwood. Off the beaten track. Good food was had, good drinks selection and well worth seeking out. Will be going back again for sure.

We had an expected free evening and went along on the off chance of a table as it was a bit later. They kindly found us a seat and ohhh my!! A friend's recommendation bought us here and they exceeded all expectations. The burgers were sublime as were the dirty fries and best of all the Frickles, oh lala! Not had these since last visiting the states. If you haven't come across then before, do try them. We will be back (a lot 😊)

Good food , amazing menu, perfect staff. Have enjoyed so many good times at this place. The Sunday meat draw is not to be missed. Keep up the good work 👏

Food and service is always amazing!

Stayed at the local premier Inn and wanted something different and wasn't disappointed! Surprisingly large sheltered outside seating area with heating and blankets to sit on, great food and drink! Definitely be back.

Great local bar with fantastic beer

On way back from the West Country and stopped off on way back. Food from 16:30, we had a quick drink first and then ordered from the table. Great burgers and chicken tenders. I loved the Buffalo sauce it was a bit hot for the missus. Great beer selection too. Pro-tip: Use a Satnav, you won’t find otherwise.

They have a great selection of beers on offer and the food was excellent highly recommend going here. There is also a really nice garden and outside space with an area dedicated to kids with a play area in it.

Absolutely phenomenal burger and fries. We visited because of the Gluten Free options but my partner raved about the regular non GF food too. I was planning to take a photo but it was too good to wait. The staff were all very friendly also.

Friendly, informal just enough. Food never compromises. If they have space for you, they will fit you in. No whining, no sidelooks. Just great.

Haven’t seen so many flies in a pub before!! Servers were pretty disinterested so had left empty tables full of left over food , so ended up being v fly infested! As such, we didn’t end up eating here. V disappointing!

The food was absolutely incredible! Unfortunately, we were placed round the corner in the snug where there was absolutely 0 atmosphere, and the staff kind of forgot about us. We ended up just ordering online to the table.

Amazing quality food with great selection of coeliac friendly food on the menu. Staff were also knowledgeable about coeliac disease so put everyone at ease that their food would be safe... Not to mention delicious.

Walked into an empty bar, walked through into a literally AMAZING beer garden that was buzzing with activity. Ordered food , was absolutely delicious. Came in a very reasonable time giving how busy they seemed. The animal burger was stunning and the Korean fries were tasty and gave you a warming after taste. Lovely pint of Otter bitter as well. Price seemed reasonable against portion size and quality. Will deffo visit again if in the area!

Nice family pub with a large, secure off-street garden with an outdoor table tennis table, a playhouse/slide for small children and lots of seating. The beer and food is a little pricier than some other pubs in the area but is good quality. It can take a while to get served at the bar when it's busy but you can order drinks or food via a web site (no app required) directly from your table. The indoors is not large but has a traditional separate bar and lounge layout. Used as a local by the residents of the area and staff and clientelle are friendly and polite.

We enjoyed the burgers so much that my daughter's choice was to return the following week for lunch. We sat inside on our first visit & the following week, we enjoyed sitting in the garden. Families were sitting under umbrellas while children played happily together. We enjoyed the combination of burger with onions & bacon.

Food and service were amazing, food not stodgy and fantastic blend of flavours. Amy and Owen were amazing, nothing was too much trouble

Best burger I’ve ever had. I’ve been recommended to come here a few times and definitely lives up to my expectations and more. The food was so good, we had to get more to takeaway. We will definitely be coming back

Animal Burger and Korean Fries, the tastiest burger and fries ever. Excellent beer too (Durdle Door).

Very expensive for what it is. Ordered a cocktail for £8 it came in a glass the size of a thimble, I couldn’t believe my eyes really! Burgers were ok but don’t come with chips for rather overpriced. Mac&cheese had a strange sauce in it and wasn’t enjoyable at all.

Nice local pub on outskirts of Ringwood Town. Fab garden with plenty of seating. Didn't eat ourselves but saw food others were enjoying and it looked great.

Wow! The food here is stunning. Proper good street food style. Possibly the best burger I’ve ever had (the animal). Can’t believe we’ve been holidaying here for so long and haven’t found it before! Obsessed.

We are down on holiday and decided to try the railway pub and kitchen after reading the reviews and we were not disappointed, I had the triple stack burger and beef chilli loaded fries it was the best tasting burger that I have had for years,if you are looking for a lovely pub with good drinks and fantastic burgers,loaded fries and chicken wings and friendly and helpful staff then this place is well worth a visit or two. And it is also dog friendly.

Slow service. Not informed at all during the evening (got there at 7pm) about not being allowed to use the garden or the covered outside space after 10pm, we didn't see any signs relating to the curfew either, we were all told to go inside - which isn't that big so we just left.

The burgers are great and very reasonably priced for good tasty food. There's a big selection of starters/sides many different types of fries- loaded or not, poutine tater tots etc. Then the burgers which are the best I have ever had! Lots of choices for vegan or vegetarian too. And the Craft Beer is excellent ever changing pumps and kept in very good condition. 5 STARS

I visited with family for my daughters birthday. She had chosen the venue after searching for a restaurant with a similar name and coming across here by mistake. Being a vegetarian she wanted a good selection to choose from and she wasn't disappointed. We all enjoyed our food and the real selection was good as well. From the outside and it's location I wouldn't have normally visited here however once inside there was a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. If I had any gripes then parking wasn't too easy and I had to use a street a few minutes away, not the fault of the pub in any respect.

Great food and a good selection of beers. The burgers were really nice, the kids chicken was really juicy and the chips were lovely. Really great food for a pub. The poutine was lovely.

We visited the weekend, our first time. We were a table of 8-4 adults & 4 children. It was a warm welcome & to start with good service. The pub is quirky & we liked it. Drinks order taken quickly & food order taken after. We waited about 45 minutes for food (no one said it would be a wait) & when the food came out, it was all at different times. I had finished my burger before my fries came out & that included a bit of wait for other people's food to come out.. The food was tasty & well presented. The service was a bit hit n miss as our time there went on. There were probably about 5 other tables eating & lots of people in bar drinking. For 2x chidrens mains & 2 adult mains plus 2 desserts was £92!!!! Very pricey!! Would we return probably not

This is a really good pub specialising in burgers and amazing craft drinks. Service was excellent and can’t fault the burger and sides. Strangely no coffee machine!

This is my first time visiting here and I absolutely loved it. I had a Kogi pork cheese burger and my partner had a Animal burger. Both of them are one of the best burgers we’ve ever had. We shared a Korean fries too. It was lovely! I am a Korean and whenever I see something ‘Korean’ on the menu, most of the time it is disappointing. It definitely wasn’t the case this time. So lovely that I ordered another portion of Korean wings after finishing the burgers😂 The service was great too! We couldn’t ask her name cuz it was busy but she kindly explained the menu and checked if we needed anything. Will definitely visit again!

Staying at nearby Premier Inn and popped here for a few drinks. Staff friendly and nice few pints of Guinness.

Fantastic food with a friendly service!!

I received a Dish fish finger with homemade tartare sauce,ketchup with rocket in a rustic stone baked baguette and shoe lace fries! Simple and to the point! No frills which is exactly what I wanted! Very busy,kind staff who left you alone to enjoy your lunch in peace. This was a second visit and will not be a last! Thank you Dish in Romsey you rock 👊🏾

Wow I went on the 7th of feb and had the buffalo wings and a couple drinks and it was amazing. I had brilliant service great food and great atmosphere would highly recommend.

The portion is rather small, we were expecting chips with the burgers. So if you’re hungry you will need to order a few. The staff were friendly and the food was good. The pub is very trendy.

Very busy place, booked in whist away in the area after a recommendation from a friend. We were not disappointed!! Personal highlight for me was the buffalo tenders, but even overlooked things like the burger bun were really nice. Great atmosphere, brilliant burgers and fairly priced. Would visit happily do the 1.5 hour round trip from home for dinner

This place is such a gem! Great cocktails/mocktails and craft beers, and an incredible range of veggie and vegan food alongside loads of choice for the meat eaters—the veggie Philly cheesesteak burger might be one of the best veggie burgers I've ever had. Please keep bringing it back 🤤

Staff super friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Food was above and beyond the setting is gorgeous and country style with a pretty kitty called Margo 🤍 Highly recommend and will be back!

If you're paying out for a burger then it needs to be great, fortunately these are fantastic. The chicken burgers (which are in most places disappointing) might even be my favourite here. Fries are very good. The craft beer selection is also great, highly recommended.

Nice place with great burgers and beer. I had a PBK burger - first time ever to have peanut butter in a burger but in combination with the other flavours - it was amazing.

I have had the burgers many times and they are very good, as time goes on the portions have got smaller for the loaded fries but other than that a nice pub, staff gave good service and the food was tasty.

Lovely staff and great food. Easily accommodated the 9 of us, and even opened the kitchen a little early for us. Would highly recommend!

Pretty awful experience here! I am genuinely surprised to see so many positive reviews.. Firstly the food... very mediocre. Whilst the burger prices don’t seem wholly unreasonable, fries are not included, so for a decent sized burger with fries you’re paying a minimum of £16 (+ “optional” service charge!). I enjoy supporting smaller businesses, but for those prices I really expect something to be special - there wasn’t. The portion sizes weren't great even when ordering the larger option. The food took a very long time to come , with no apology or warning of a longer waiting time before ordering. When asking a blonde haired female server about the wait, we were essentially told “it’s a Friday night, what do you expect?”, so rude! I think a 40 minute expected wait should be advised before ordering, Friday or not. And the rude response left quite a sour taste in our mouths for the rest of the night. Once we got our food, we weren’t asked once about everything being okay, and in that instance it was when we actually wanted to order more drinks. The employees seemed to be gone for about 15 minutes flirting with one another, so we were completely unable to gain their attention. We finally got the bill, the service had definitely got worse through the night. It felt like the waitress begrudged the fact that we had asked about the waiting time. Still, no asking if our food was ok! The bill was £55 for two burgers, two portions of their cheapest fries and one drink each. Had something stood out we’d have been happy to pay the price, however the service was bad, and food extremely mediocre.

Loved the games and the staff were friendly. Service wasn't great as we asked the waitress for a couple of things (ketchup and then water) that never came. Otherwise, we liked the food.

Stumbled across this place whilst staying at nearby Premier Inn and was pleasantly surprised given it's basic, no frills interior. Delighted to find same choice of homemade burgers in vegan versions. Tasty food and good service.

Perfect meal with very excited grandsons eating in their favourite restaurant great service friendly attentive staff Only problem my husband broke a tooth on unexpected frozen jelly tot in otherwise very enjoyable candy crush ice-cream maybe just sprinkle jelly tops for decoration only when we next visit

Always eat here on on annual visit to the new forest. Love the burgers. Wished we live closer due to the good beer and burgers plus the ambience of the pub. Looking forward to our next visit already..

Local pub, very friendly and great burgers and even Canadian poutine.

Our whole experience was great. Really cool pub with a buzzing atmosphere. Excellent drink choices and amazing vegan food offerings too. Even did us a kids meal with the vegan strips for my little one. There's a kids play area outside which entertained her too. To top it all off we even got a visit from the pub cat!

Lovely little pub, tucked out of the way. I was only in for one evening and was made welcome by the lovely staff and the locals. I didn't try the food but there is a great looking menu. Thanks for a pleasant evening and if I'm working that way again I'll deffo be back!!!

Conclusion: Worth a visit. Burger tastes good and Korean menu is interesting. What was disappointing was that ordering and payment were QR, so it was difficult to ask about the menu. The server is friendly, but there is little contact so low rating. Sorry I didn't give you a tip because I used QR.

Great food, drinks and service!

The Railway was simply the best burgers in Dorset but a few changes may change this… The pub has gone back to QR ordering and I think this was the source of confusion with our order where our food was partly delivered and the rest delivered elsewhere. The prices are significantly high for self ordering! The pub did give us a free round of drinks.

We hadn’t booked , pub was empty apart from some locals sat at the bar , every table had a reserved sign on and so we were shoved out at the back room that felt like you weren’t even in a pub as you couldn’t see anything else , we asked to move back in the restaurant part as we weren’t going to stay long and were begrudgingly allowed . The room hasn’t been decorated , I can only guess they’re trying to achieve the shabby look but it looks like a derelict building . The waitress didn’t know what the sauce was even though it seemed to be on most of the items on the menu (I’d never heard of it before) , my gf opted for a burger which was just a sloppy mess on a plate , no garnish , chips were an optional extra , she only ate half cos it was just drenched with so many sauces there was no taste to the burger . I ordered chicken wings that arrived on a saucer (see pic) and again covered in way too much sauce , no garnish , no flavour at all , there’s just no effort or pride in any of the dishes , I’m fully aware it’s mostly deep fried rubbish but at least make it look presentable and tasty . No bottled beers , just Red Stripe lager on tap , needless to say we won’t be back , appalling in every way.

Amazing burgers. Great beer selection from a range of non inbev type breweries. Parking is a bit hit or miss but if we can't be bothered to go all the way to the Butchers Dog this is our favourite. Big garden out back with covered and open seating, table tennis and small kids playground. Spot on.

I have had takeaway a number of times over the years, but this place just gets better and better. Amazing food and I'm lucky to live just up the road. Thank you guys. Joe

Great pub. Highly recommend the burgers, but all the food was very tasty. Easy to order food and drinks on your phone from the large garden at the back. Lovely on a sunny Sunday.

Without doubt my favourite pub in Ringwood. Great food, great atmosphere and Georgie is the absolute best!

This appears to be a small pub, which it is but with a massive covered and uncovered garden. The outside bar has a limited choice, but enough. We did not eat but the food lookd good and the staff were great

Visited 20/8/23 with a few of my family members and it was a really nice place. The food was delicious, drinks were good price as well as a wide variety, lots of seating areas and the service and staff were quick and very friendly As someone who lives in South Wales, I’m not a local but I will 100% come back again next time I’m in the area!

We booked in the hope of a meal . There did not seem to be many traditional meals available so we opted for a burger . Mine was halloumi and my partners was a classic beef burger . It had one tiny shred of lettuce , a slab of halloumi and a small brioche roll . The classic beef burger was the same . There was no garnish in any shape or form and was literally chucked on a plate . There was no effort made to make it look appealing . They are trying to achieve the shabby chic look but unfortunately it looks as If it is in the middle of a refurb . There is wallpaper falling off the ceiling and a fire place half ripped out . We paid £32 for this which included one alcoholic drink , a coke and a water . Extortionate for what we had to eat . It was similar to a fast food saver menu. The saving grace was the lovely young waitress she was very nice .
