Miller & Carter Steakhouse in Maidstone

Today we had server Kelly who was great today! Loved the food and experience was great, definitely recommend. Food was hot and tasted good.

Went out to Miller and Carter on a last minute dinner, have been before and its always been lovely but this time was particularly good. The food was really lovely but Anthony our server really made our evening amazing. Took the time to speak to us properly and just made our day. All the staff were lovely, we had the best time! Thank you all x

We ate here on a Sunday Evening , although we booked we were expecting it to be empty , it was extremely busy which we hoped was a good sign. We were not disappointed We shared the garlic mushroom starter and it was delicious, I personally think it was too big for one person so we were glad we shared . My hubby then has a 30 day matured Sirloin and I had the Sea Bass , they were both very generous portions , piping hot and cooked to perfection I had the Pornstar Martini and the Deluxe Expresso Martini, they were both the best I’ve had and I’ve tried lots of different places we didn’t have a dessert as we were too full The bill was a bit on the pricey side but worth it Our waitress Fern was attentive enough not to be over bearing and very helpful We will defo go back when we are in the area

Decided to go to Miller and Carter Friday afternoon. Booked online for Friday evening 19th April. We were celebrating my son's 25th birthday. Meal was fab and the service from Kelly was fab as well. Attentive, chatty and answered any questions we had.

Pippa made our experience very enjoyable. She made us feel relaxed and at ease, for our lovely meal ☺️ nothing was too much

am utterly appalled, a friday lunchtime trip with my family to the miller and carter was quickly met with frustration as i was singled out for wearing said “sportswear” although all i had on was a designer hoodie and although i understand they have a clothing policy. i believe that they will only turn costumers away by singling out any person who decides not to show up in jeans and a polo shirt. the restaurant was empty and should stay that way if they feel the need to single out people, i am only a teenager and feel that i have been discriminated not just for my clothes but also my age. the second i walked in the door they refused me AND my family a seat all because i was judged just by my dress sense. miller and carter, sort it out.

We all had a lovely dinner and the food was delicious. We were served by Tony who was very welcoming. Will be back again soon!

We dined, as a family, at Miller and Carter, Maidstone, on 4th April. Our waitress, Kirsty, was friendly and efficient, and nothing was too much trouble. She looked after us brilliantly. The food was, as expected, first-rate. Two of us had the Smokey king prawns as a starter. They were great! The steaks in particular were perfectly cooked as ordered and were juicy and full of flavour. Good value for money, too. Overall, this visit couldn't have been better. Well done to Kirsty and the whole team!

As being my first visit to a Miller and Carter. Service was good. Staff polite helpful and friendly. Food was amazing! Only thing that let it down was non adherence to the advertised dress code. We arrived smart casual to find people wearing sliders, hoodies and baseball caps. Also a table over from us had five kids on the table which in itself is t a problem however they ALL had ipads playing different things and at full volume with the adults talking over the top of it. Kind of bought the atmosphere down somewhat. Whilst I realise there are no rules against this it would he nice for the management to ask people to turn the noise down for the benefit of others.

Excellent service from our waitress/ steak specialist Sarah! Service was friendly and prompt, we opted for the valentines steak and champagne deal which did not disappoint, every element was delicious and made for a great celebratory meal!

Service was good , I know you serve steaks but the menu didn’t have enough choices for my wife who is not keen on red meat so maybe more of a selection.

Had a delicious meal tonight! The food was really well cooked and really tasty! The pulled pork doughnut was so yummy! We had the butcher's block, and the steak was cooked to perfection to our liking! The marrowbone was exceptional! I'd never tried it before! We had the pleasure of having Kelly as our server, and she was absolutely lovely and helped recommend things to us. The cocktails were so nice, especially the coconut and raspberry punch!! Will definitely come back!

We often come here as a family to get together on a Sunday afternoon. Always a friendly, relaxed atmosphere which is perfect. Lovely food too - I’m currently having the pumpkin salad a lot which is really nice while my parents go for a steak and seabass. A nice wine selection too, and we went for the rose Prosecco this time to try and bring that sun back (it worked!!) Kelly was really lovely and brought us everything we needed (sauces etc..) and did the great job of navigating my Mum’s complicated order with ease! 😊

We visited miller and Carter Maidstone today and to say that our waitress Esme was nothing but amazing would be an understatement, this is the second time Esme has served us, the first being on my partner 21st birthday back in July and she has been just as great this time round as back then, unfortunately my steak came out a little undercooked, however Esme and another waitress that I didn’t catch her name took it back and apologise profusely before bring me the new steak, however I understand that it was an extremely busy night so the chefs might of been busy and tired from the long day so there is no anger towards the establishment for this, as a manager from another Mitchells & butlers restaurant I’m an extremely impressed my Esme and her amazing attitude, bubbly personality and brilliant service that she has supplied us on multiple occasions, unfortunately myself and my partner intend to tip her £12 but I believe we might on only left £2 but complete accident, however for every visit we will be asking for Esme again as she has been so wonderful and helpful through every visit we have had, Esme is a true asset to your team!

Only our second visit since it changed from The White Rabbit to Miller & Carter. Both times have been lunchtimes and we've enjoyed both occasions. The staff were engaging & attentive, especially our waitress Daisy. We had the set 2 courses for £16.95 - My husband and sister had the haddock & chips and I the fishcakes ..all tasty and served hot :-) I had salad instead of chips, but I have to say, it was a bit plain - just iceberg lettuce, with only 1 or 2 pieces each of shaved cucumber, avocado and 3 halves of cherry tomatoes. We had the mini dessert of banoffee pie, which was delicious and just the right size with our choice of coffee. All in all a lovely meal, around £22 each, in a pleasant setting with attentive staff..what's not to like. One thing I did note was we sat both times in the area where the sun shines strongly through the windows (same in July as in November) and it meant drawing the curtains.. I was wondering if some sort of blinds could be fitted, so they could be tilted instead.
