super friendly staff and landlord, I've been working in Brighton for a few weeks and have been made so welcome at this pub, great food amazing Caesar salad, great beer, and friendly pub highly recommend

We came here on Friday evening for food and a couple of drinks, we had fish and chips and chicken burger Cajun, the food was very good and the tartar sauce freshly made and had a great taste, there was a good selection of beers, I had neck oil,and there were other real ales as well as bier moretti. The prices were reasonable and the staff were friendly, definitely give it a try

I don’t dislike this place, but shatteringly loud indie music at 6pm on a Wednesday will put me off coming back anytime soon.

Best breakfast we have had in Brighton. Lots of choice, friendly staff and delicious food. Very reasonable too - £8 for a full breakfast. Great coffee too and relaxed atmosphere

I cannot fault the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff despite being busy. The food was delicious and I overheard a conversation re: not having a big enough kitchen for proper crockery so they found a compostable alternative….wobbly plates but very kirsch! The coffee is really lovely and this place has a fabulous vibe. We really enjoyed our breakfast. 😁

They have only been open a few days so there will be a settling in period. The beer - good selection of Harveys beers but disappointing that there was no Best Bitter. One beer was off but was changed without query - they need to check them before start of service. Decor - as you would expect it has been fully refurbished and looks really smart. Food - the burger was good but I was amazed when they said they don't provide cutlery, so eating is a rather messy experience (hence the title); the chips were excellent.
