Lovefit Cafe Queens Road in Brighton and Hove

I really loved the iced blended mocha which I was able to sip through on the sunny terrace (decaf available and they can make this vegan as well). We didn't have food but I'm sure it's also really good.

Always get a coffee and bacon sandwich when I'm in Brighton. Great coffee and sandwich every time.

I passed by on Saturday, Brighton is always very welcoming, i feel this deep in my bones, this is a spot, i felt graced by angels from one simple visit, i was greeted by a bright female who's name was perhaps Amber if my memory serves me. I was in a playful mood and wanted to try something different and new, she was very patient as i took my time, i sat on a sofa with a small surf board table in front of me, its a fun place, lots of in out bustle, people collecting green juices and protein shakes all sorts going on here and the onus is on health, this i love, health is wealth. i ordered a Mocha, not had one in years, extremely nice. it was 11am Breakfast vibes were on the brain. I ordered the spicy cheese scrambled eggs with a chicken sausage served with wholemeal toast and Lurpak butter. It sounds a bit of a scramble, it was an experiment, it worked well, nicely cooked scrambled eggs with gooey cheddar cheese, sprinkled with chilli flakes and a small salad topped with jalapeños, the bread was hearty and the butter quality, large portion and value for money, i felt inspired whilst sat there, so i wrote a poem and i actually cried. i probably spent well over an hour here, the atmosphere was light and bubbly relaxed and chilled, i left feeling full of love, nurtured and reborn. It unlocked something lurking inside hiding, ready to emerge, creative writing. This was a very special visit for which i am grateful, to be frank was life changing, not your average cafe visit, one i can never forget, it started with a spontaneous trip, its funny the penny just dropped, amazing things happen when you do things on whim, on the spur of the moment. Had the steak burger and sweet potato squash, the former was slightly tough but the latter was simply delicious. Coffee was great, as was the salad and of course, the carrot cake.

Great independent cafe, used previously will call again

I love it! Last year I entered by chance and was left with a very good impression; On that occasion I had scones for breakfast. Today I came again and tried an incredible chickpea and tomato soup, as well as a latte with soy milk. The kitchen boy and the waitress have very good energy. I will be back!

Excellent food. Great service. I had the veggie burger which was awesome. The nutty salad was super tasty. Lots of healthy food on the menu and good value for money.

Had a small baby and not one customer seemed friendly and accepting of her happy squarks The pancakes )vegan( were absolutely tiny I’d stamp it as a child’s potion but an adult price They were tasty though but absolutely no comparison to other places in Brighton Delicious coffee and friendly service

We had the vegan full English, and unfortunately it wasn't great, for £11.50 it was very small, the linder Mccarthy sausages were terrible 😢. And didn't really have much of a taste. Maybe drop the price or change the sausage and make the portion sizes a little bigger.

A great cafe, themed on surfing but focusing on health and well-being. Friendly welcoming team. The food is fresh, tasty and good value for money. God to see the calorific and nutrition information so readily available. Recommend jacket potatoes and their salads. Great tasting decaf coffee. Very dog friendly.

Great service, reasonable prices, fabulous coffee and the hot chocolate is to die for. Comfy seating and relaxed atmosphere.

i came to Brighton to spend a couple of days there and went to this place as it was on our way from the train station and what a nice place! staff is nice and the food is amazing, reasonably priced. we even came back for a second time through our stay!! deffo will be back here if I ever come to Brighton again:)

The Queen of Cafes..comfortable chairs and a lovely leather Chesterfield you can just relax on and enjoy strong coffee and cake...oh and a great breakfast, I had the full English, with smoked chicken sausage , generous serving, and served by the most kind and attentive team who make sure everyone is a special customer. Ideally situated just a shirt walk from the station, what a great place in which to start your day.

Genuinely welcoming and friendly staff and really great, healthy food. I wish that all café’s served food like this! It is so refreshing to have a breakfast without all of the oil and grease, that still tastes amazing. Absolute my go to café for the weekend. The smoothies are great too!

Very nice breakfast, a little on the expensive side and quite slow service, but very good overall. The scrambled egg was excellent.

This little cafe didn’t quite live up to my expectations but, nevertheless, our toasted sandwiches were very nice and very tasty. At 12.30 on a Monday the place was almost empty which was a little surprising, but they seemed to do a good trade in takeaway. No complaints, but just not overwhelmed.

Solid Service but Overpriced - A Mixed Bag Visiting this café today, I was pleasantly met with a warm and friendly staff. They seemed eager to serve and create a welcoming atmosphere which I appreciated greatly. The food was undeniably delicious, surpassing expectations and certainly standing out in taste and quality. However, a concerning point about the experience was the high pricing. It seemed disproportionate to the value of the breakfast items served, considering the known market prices of these components. An example of this was my breakfast today, which cost me a steep £29. While I understand restaurants need to cover costs and make a profit, it's hard to justify these prices when one considers the affordability of making a similar breakfast at home. It's important for establishments to remember that while ambiance and service are vital, pricing plays a significant role in maintaining a loyal customer base. Overall, the café delivers a fantastic experience in terms of service and quality, but the cost effectiveness leaves a lot to be desired. Hopefully, they can reconsider their pricing strategy to match the true value offered. This will ensure they don't lose customers who are becoming increasingly conscious of getting a fair bang for their buck when eating out.

Such a lovely place, we have been going here for years and have never been disappointed. The restaurant is clean, calm and friendly- the staff are always chatty and happy to help. The food is delightful, lots of options for all dietary requirements (vegan pancakes are sooo good!). There is outdoor and indoor seating which is nice! Overall a really lovely place.

Very disappointed in this place. I use to go a lot and loved it. But this place has went downhill. The portion size is terrible for the price you are paying. £7 for scramble eggs. You will be lucky if it was two eggs. Very rare I leave a review, especially when it’s negative. But I had to. This place has to step up and get back to what it use to be.

Good location, nice deco, light and spacious. Limited range of cakes, portions are small and pricey.

Highly recommend this spot for breakfast in Brighton. I had a protein shake to go on the first day and scrambled egg on toast on the second day. Really friendly, very tasty, great selection of healthy options.

A very chill location for a healthy and tasty breakfast. On top of that, the staff was very nice.

Went with friends after work, roof Terrace upper area not quite as pleasant as lower... more of a smoking area which wasn't really what we had hoped for when booking a table for 10. Plus on a Tuesday night the bar was on the ground floor...a trek for top ups... decided to opt for a starter from the menu as did a friend. Really not impressed, what a pity as the mains looked lovely. Felt quite let down.

Well,the prices were reasonable,but staff very slow. 15 mins seated,and no drinks order?? The food arrived pretty promptly but was frankly tasteless. Very mass produced and bland. My steak was not tender,and tasteless There were 5 of us in this family party, no one said they had enjoyed their food....

Had brunch here as we were leaving Brighton. Nice staff, quick service. Had yoghurt and granola and a bacon sandwich and 2 very large coffees. All good. Quite pricey for portion sizes.

Breakfast for one. Love Fit Cafe is on the way down the hill, not far from the station (handy location). Nice welcoming cafe. Extensive menu - everything from beverages, to full English breakfasts & everything in between. I ordered the vegetarian full English & it was lovely. Scrambled eggs, vine ripened tomatoes, 2 slices of whole meal toast, baked beans, 2 Linda McCartney sausages, mushrooms & a nice big cup of coffee. Good quality fare. Lots of it & kept me going all day. Highly recommended.

Called in late afternoon about an hour before closing time. First visit , very friendly- great tasty food Sat in the window and watched the world go by. Try the toasties - recommend the New Yorker . Worth a visit to see the LED palm tree

I chose this cafe as it was close to my hotel and it opened early. When we arrived, we were served promptly and the staff were very helpful at ensuring I chose the right cooked breakfast (I'm fussy and wanted a few items removed!). Service was quick, food was very yummy and fresh, served piping hot. Cafe was clean.

Was just looking for a place to do some revision before I went to the gym and found the best range of protein shakes and smoothies with a ton of vegan options too which is always great to see. The staff are so lovely and create a very welcoming atmosphere, I'll definitely be making this a regular stop before the gym!

Been there twice for breakfast. Really enjoyed the protein pancakes, and my colleagues said the sandwiches were nice too. Friendly staff, nice interior. No complaints here.

My second visit. I was in way to a meeting & this was a perfect location 5 minutes walk from Brighton Station. Clean, nice seating, well pitched background music. Outdoor area if you need it. Enthusiastic & cheerful staff. Quick service . Good coffee. Nice Chicken chipotle & bacon toastie. Cost £8.50 which I think is fair for quality & location.

Fantastic salads and sandwiches; perfect following a workout at the Fitness center one block away -- friendly owners, warm environment, all around a pleasant experience and good for you too.

We ate breakfast at Lovefit Cafe this week. It was a really nice experience. The cafe is in a great location down the road from the station. Very healthy menu which states all the macros in each dish. We both ordered black coffee & scrambled eggs in granary toast. It was very tasty, I particularly enjoyed the roasted vine tomatoes - they had so much flavour. Helpful staff, clean & tidy establishment, lovely healthy food & not ridiculously expensive. Recommended.

Popped into Lovefit for a flat white and breakfast roll and both were delightful. The staff was welcoming, the place was clean, the decor is adorable. Recommend!

Used for first time today and ordered a vegan breakfast roll to pick up through Deliveroo and it was absolutely delicious.

Day trip to Brighton..straight out the train station.. Just as we walked down the hill and see this a few steps from the station.. First good looking cafe was this one... So welcoming so friendly... So in we go.. Great interior and real clean and tidy.. So we ordered the full breakfast and Caffè latte with caramel.. It didn't disappoint us... Delicious tasty and we felt like we couldn't walk it was so filling... ((Even the toilet was so clean)) Lovely welcoming staff... 100% be back x

Staff are lovely and food overall is great too. However no trader discount if you work next door and they charge extra for oat milk??? Such a shame.

Doesn’t let you use their toilet until your their client. I won’t be for sure after this. Obviously you are within your rights to deny access to the general public and so on. But I am within my right to give you one star for this and warn the other about it.

Beautiful Tuna Crunch sandwich served with fresh granary bread. Plenty of tasty filling, nice thick slices of bread. All served with a full flavour Americano coffee without milk. Definitely worth a visit.

Loved it. Just what we were looking for after arriving by train and walking to the seafront. Staff were incredibly welcoming, and the scrambled eggs on toast was particularly good. A jewel in an otherwise slightly tatty main street.

Had a lovely trip to Brighton from Edinburgh and some great meals. Popped into Love Fit Cafe on Queen’s Road near the station for breakfast this morning and wasn’t disappointed. Wife had poached eggs, daughter pancakes and I had full English with lovely sausages and bacon from the Brighton Sausage company. Tasted great! Good range of delicious smoothies as well. Service was really friendly as well but must say the folks in Brighton are brilliant. Thanks folks

Had some really delicious vegan pancakes and an equally lovely vegan milkshake. Friendly service and good value for money.

Came to Brighton today and had already looked up places to eat that’s healthy. I had the halloumi and mango salad (something I wouldn’t usually choose) and the Mrs had the turkey and Brie burger. Both absolutely delicious! Tried a smoothie and the cakes too and everything was wonderful. Will deffo be back in the future and be recommending to everyone :)

Had to mention, had the Butternut Lentil & Spinach soup, tastiest soup I’ve ever eaten, at 58 that’s a lot of soup, thoroughly enjoyed it

Ordered delivery. Hands down the best burger I've had. Love that they tell you the macros so I can keep track of what I'm eating. Will be ordering from here time and time again.

We just went in on spec. what a friendly good value cafe, the food was excellent and sensibly priced. We enjoyed our lunch so much we went out of our way to go again on the second day of our short break.

I always enjoy my visits here. I find the setting comfortable, food is great and comes quickly, staff are wonderful. They know my allergies, how I like my coffee, they always welcome me when I arrive. I feel very well treated.

I have never been in there before, so I found the coffee to be a bit bitter, weres I wouldn't not put sugar in my coffee I had to have some sugar to take the taste away

Probably my favourite cafe in Brighton, which is saying something because there are so many great places. The coffees and the smoothies are amazing, and Jason the owner, and his small staff team, are always friendly and hospitable.

Great value, excellent food. So glad I can stay on my healthy eating plan whilst out. The smoothies were really good and staff very friendly. Came on the gov 50% off however I’ll definitely be returning.
