Miller and Carter Bagshot in Surrey Heath

Four stars is a bit generous, but my steak was so good, I feel I would be doing this restaurant disservice rating it any lower. Steak was cooked to perfection, it was tender and tasty. Burgers and chips were delicious judging by the speed my children polished them. Overall presentation of my food was lacking and vegetables were not very good. Although the lady serving us tried hard, there was just not enough staff for the number of tables and customers. The service was very slow and when we asked for additional items (ketchup, extra glass of wine, etc) it took ages for them to arrive. From the moment we finished the main meal to getting our desserts, it took 40 minutes. And speaking of desserts, it would be nice if there are some lighter choices (there was no desserts less than 700 calories unless you went for mini dessert!).

I came in for dinner yesterday evening with the family. We had a filet steak, a burger and a rack of ribs and they were all absolutely amazing. The steak especially was cooked to perfection, beautifully rare just how I like it. We were served by Martin he was incredibly polite and helpful and made our visit all the more enjoyable.

Fab dinner here at Miller and Carter, Martin was a great server, very attentive! Lovely meal there for my birthday, and they brought me out a birthday platter which was a lovely touch. thank you.

Booked a date night with my partner and Ovi made it perfect, great service, friendly next time we come here i hope to have Ovi again

Although we where seated near the kitchen door the smell of fish was very strong and I am allergic to fish and prawns that put me off and felt sick

Roxy was an absolute standout! She was warm, genuine, and clearly loves her job. She made us feel completely at ease and really added to the experience. Service like that is rare, and it really makes a difference. Keep up the great work, Roxy.

Roxy was an absolute gem and really made our experience enjoyable and comfortable. We had an issue with one of our cocktails, however Roxy was on hand to quickly resolve it and was so patient and kind with us. We will be back soon!

Lovely food and excellent service. Roxy was excellent - very friendly and attentive.

We had a wonderful dining experience! My husband, who is a seafood lover, decided to try the lobster from the special menu. Although he was a bit nervous at first since he wasn’t very familiar with eating lobster, the staff were incredibly kind and made him feel completely at ease. In the end, he absolutely loved it—it was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing, easily one of the best he’s ever had. A special thank you to Fadi for personally coming out to check if we enjoyed the meal. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Big Shout out to Riannon!! Me and my wife dined in the other day as we were staying locally. We were fortunate enough to have Riannon as our waiter who delivered an excellent service. Very warm welcome and knowledgeable person who helped us navigate the menu which is exactly what we needed as we haven't visited a Miller and Cater for few years! We both loved our food and left very happy with our service! This lady needs a pay rise! Well done Riannon!

We had a wonderful meal at Miller and Carter in Bagshot! It was for our 9 year anniversary and we came on a Monday and was lovely and quiet. Ovi was our server and was super friendly and helpful and made our visit very pleasant!

We have just returned from a lovely early evening visit to Miller and Carter at Bagshot, we had a really super waitress called Rhiannon, she made our visit very special. The food was amazing and we can’t wait to go back.

Went there yesterday with my girlfriend and steak and desert was so delicious. I went to Argentina steak restaurant in reading before but it was not on level with miller and Carter. Best steak I ever had and will definitely be back for more. The waiter who served us was very polite, kind and helpful and also, everyone was welcoming like a family . You guys are an angel. 😇😇😇

Really disappointed in the way my husband and I were greeted.. seated and treated. We left as it was clear by the facial and body language we were not welcome. Such a shame as we went in with such great expectations… they need not worry we won’t go back again as it was clear we were not wanted .. nor was our money!

Delivery time constantly changed I suspect a courier difficulty but very frustrating. Food all tasty although the onion loaf was soggy due to contact with tomato, needs own container

This place is our go to place, the chefs cook the best steak, the chips are to die for and its very good value. What's not to love.

Was forced by James to sit in the corner as we were in tracksuits, treated us like absolute peasants, made us order from the bar and wouldn’t take table service all because we were young men not wearing jeans or suits. Avoid james at all costs, rest of staff were pleasant however james does not deserve to be serving well paying customers. Rude, unpleasant and entitled, is how I would describe James, if that is even his name, being reluctant to tell us. Miller and Carter Bagshot.

Fantastic dining option, high end chain that is good for any event, quiet romantic evening , family celebration or business meeting. Steak is cooked to perfection and service is professional and prompt! Keep up the great work guys 👍
