Love this place such good value for money food was cooked on point staff were friendly

Great service station with Waitrose Supermarket goods, a Greggs, Starbucks coffee machine and good toilet facilities too.

Visited The Bull, Wheathampstead for a meal and catch up with friends. We had a lovely meal with everything delicious and cooked to perfection. Our waitress, Belinda was attentive but not intrusive and was very knowledgeable about the dishes on the menu. I couldn’t decide which cocktail to choose and Belinda recommended the Disarrano Blush which didn’t disappoint and I highly recommend too. The Bull is well worth a visit, lovely location especially if you get to sit outside by the river on a nice summer’s day.

We visited on Friday night. 6 adults ready to eat BIG. Numerous waitresses walked past ignoring us without even as much as a smile or a hello. After 10 minutes we gave up and took our business across the road. Shameful way to run a business! It wasn't even that business empty tables all over the venue.

Had a lovely sat afternoon here at the Mariners was looked after by Jasmin with excellent customer service and the food and drinks were top notch 👌👌👌

We celebrated our wedding anniversary with our first meal together in the 'new' Starr Inn. (We had been to previous incarnations of The Starr, in times gone by.) The meal, service and friendly attention from the maître d' and senior staff was faultless. The food was delicious. (I can highly recommend the ribeye!) All in all, with background live music, it was an evening fit for a celebration.

Popped in to Acle Steakhouse today at 11:55 am to go for lunch and drinks. A young man sat beside the bar and completely ignored me and my friend. He got up and walked out the back without even acknowledging us. We waited for around 10 minutes before walking out. Not one person in sight to offer us any assistance. Go to the Vault opposite, where we were welcomed with an enthusiastic greeting. Stick the Acle Steak overpriced, unwelcoming restaurant where the sun doesn’t shine. Plenty of places nearby who offer a much better costumer service, who actually want your custom Thank you Kings Head Acle for terrible customer service.

The free monkey nuts were nice. The food tasted okay but when I unwrapped my burger it looked like it had been run over. The fries were nice but nothing exciting. All in all, very poor value for money.

Visited there as I saw a review in the local paper of their Indian street food. It didn’t disappoint. I thought it was excellent and will go back. Staff also very friendly

Bbq ribs are soo juicy and flavour is sooo goof

The hot honey chicken burger is the best thing I've ever put in my mouth. Period

Really nice food, burgers were very delicious. Prices were good, and a lovely atmosphere, friendly staff.
