Worst service and worst staff behaviour

Most of the shelves in the shop were empty - no idea why - but there's a Greg's and a coffee shop and staff are pleasant if a bit slow. Otherwise clean and the fuel is cheap.

Despite the constant stream of cars, there's always a pump free, as if by magic, and a parking spot waiting for you like it was reserved. It’s a wonder of modern efficiency, defying the laws of gas station chaos. Lines? Barely a concept here. I’ve spent more time deciding between snacks than waiting to pay. It’s like they’ve perfected the art of making you feel like you’re the only one filling up—even when the whole town’s clearly got the same idea. 5/5 stars for making me feel like a VIP in a sea of minivans and sedans. And bonus points for always having that perfect parking spot to admire my fuel receipt from.

Went to charge the car and was great There is lots of new chargers and plenty of spaces Tesla superchargers available as well

Lovely place to stop. Staff are very nice. Facilities really clean and best of all fuel is a reasonable price.

Absolutely useless no coffee available at 6.30, coffee machine broken Greg's closed costa coffee closed no where to heat up cold food that's sold, in short useless, services NOT.

They’ve got a Greggs, easy to turn off quite a bit of parking and generally a nice size. Really good services.

Small Service station but sufficient. Dropped 2x stars; when you only have 2x stalls in the gents toilets, you MUST ensure that toilet paper is *regularly* checked. No staff present to report it to as they all seemed to be chatting to regional manager who was visiting. I interrupted their meeting 😏

This reminded me of a European service station. Clean, tidy, decent food & coffee, kids play area & proper loos. Why can't more service stations be like this in the UK?

Nice staff at the moment. Good price for petrol, but I was overcharged for a deal on cat food, so be careful when buying items in the shop.

Surprisingly good little services. Not expensive, well stocked, clean, and friendly. Would definitely recommend this over the more mainstream further upbthe A14

Stopped here at 6pm. Everything but the shop closed. Not a good place to stop after 5pm unless you only need the toilet.

On top of fuel, there's a Costa and Greggs on site, so plenty of choice.

Stopped off for fuel, because I had a long journey and this place was cheaper than the motorway prices. There was a shop, it was clean and I would quite happily return again.

Was pleasantly surprised that this service station had a play area. Was gave us the opportunity to stretch our legs while our daughter went and played. Nice facilities on site despite it being a small service station

Came of the A14 for some food. It's a clean, bright, well thought out service area.

On my arrival I was so disgusting that the toilets was awful including the smell. Standing at Greggs you even could smell it. Will not be returning. Will have to stop again the next service for toilet 🤢 😡

Would rate zero if I could - the elder brunette lady behind the petrol counter was by far one of the rudest people I had ever met! Clearly had zero training in proper customer service. First and last time I'll be here!

Easy place to stop at. Adequate selection of food and drink. Suits us as it's quieter than the main services at Cambridge.

Stopped for a coffee at Costa - sign was up to say “sorry closed” - two members of staff, one of which said sorry closed but will be open when the other member of staff returns in couple minutes. We queued & the other waitress returned - pointed at sign said we are closed!! This was at 1.30pm in the afternoon! Poor service from Costa staff!!

Prices gone up for fuel over the last year - it used to be the best place to fill up reasonably but now the same as most places

Would have been 5 star, but the staff has been changed at Greggs meaning long queues, and a random way of serving that is just baffling to customers, bring back the super organised girls!

No coffee available, both Costa and Greggs had closed at 4:30pm (??!!) and the costa machine was out of order :-(

It's OK, we popped in to pick up some vegan sausage rolls from Greggs but they were out of most stuff. This was at 11.00. Good easy carparking, very clean and fresh service station.

Working part time in both Cafes as short staffed last Sunday...not good for motorists if hot drink needed

Spacious, clean and tidy, variety of products, good coffee at Greggs, well worth to stop by for whatever you'll need on your journey.

Well stocked shop, friendly staff, pity about the state of the toilets on my visit though I accept they may normally be better as I haven't visited before.

The sandwiches were so expensive I fell on the floor and cried until my wife and father in law came to collect me

Convenient on the journey but shuts down early and when we visited had a power issue so stopped serving completely, even in the shop!!

Another great pit stop en-route to Lowestoft. Subway no longer there. Thankfully there is a Greggs and a Costa

It’d be helpful if there was a microwave families can use to warm up food for their little babies/kids. There’s a small space for kids to play/climb.

Vile ! Stopped to feed baby and needed cold water to cool a bottle . All facilities inside were closed ! And greggs told us to ask at garage for the water . The man at the till said he couldn’t help us and was pig ignorant to our requirements. A young worker eventually helped us and got us some water which we were very thankful of .Maybe his co worker needs to take a leaf out of his book and be a little more helpful and enthusiastic!!!! The toilets are horrid and don’t know if they have ever been cleaned . Will not be using this stop again !!!

I'm here regularly, and it's always a bit of a mixed bag. Generally, the site is clean, there's plenty of space, the Greggs/Subway/Costa are serving, and everything just works. But, more frequently than you'd like, the wi-fi fails, Greggs can't scan their own app for payment, tables are left covered with detritus, and something is closed or unavailable. Today, for example, the service station is clean and tidy, but the wi-fi isn't working correctly, Greggs can't take payment, and Subway is closed entirely. It's a rare treat when everything is fine, but when that does happen, it's a lovely service area that's comfortable and convenient.

The petrol station was fine. But one young lad needs to learn some manners and customer service. Bought full tank fuel and lottery tickets. One ticket didn't print out some of the numbers and part of the QR code was missing on the ticket as well due to them leaving the plastic sticker on the roll while loading paper. The older gentleman tried to get me to me to take the half printed lottery ticket. I asked them to cancel it and issue new lottery ticket. The younger lad was preventing the older gentleman from cancelling the half printed ticket. After insisting several times that wouldn't be taking a partially printed lottery ticket, the younger lad reluctantly issued me one and then after I paid he was cursing that I lost my winning numbers on the ticket which was half printed and he was trying to force me to take. The manager needs to sort such lads out. It was on 4th August, at 19:03. I am including the bill so that the manger can sort out the young lad. No shop should have such employee. The older gentleman at till was ok as mistakes sometimes happen but the young lad was rude especially after cancelling the ticket and giving me new properly printed lottery ticket and making snarky remarks.

Good fuel price but food and stuff was expensive.

Not to clean and was nearly empty Was used napkins on the floor, the tables was stained with ketchup, the chairs are very dirty and stained with coffee or tea, this was Saturday when the place was nearly empty ( not to many costumers maybe 4 or 5 persons) The food from Subway was fine and the coffees from Costa the same.

Small services, nothing like the bigger brands, but clean, fairly reasonable prices and range of items for same. Lots of pumps and access back to the main road.

No soap and toilet paper in the ladies bathroom. Staff nowhere to be found.

Great services with Costa, Greggs and a host of goods available for shopping as well as reasonably priced fuel.

Costa has the best service here with good food and drinks in clean seating area and outdoor space. Excellent staff team.

Shocking "service station" where the staff couldn't even clear a drive off from the tills, or put a cone by a pump to notify drivers not to use it until the problem was resolved. No option to pay at the pump and the staff have two speeds...slow and stop

The toilets let this service station down . Untidy and a good clean to freshen up

Has a play area and a good food selection. If it had a car charger we could make it a main stop.

Decent stopping place food and drink and toilet.

It was ok just didn't like trying to get back on the road again as the slip road was very small to rejoin the road.

Google says your open but you are not….Just had to drive a further 8 miles to the nearest Shell garage after finding 3 other local Petrol stations were ALL CLOSED. Please update your opening hours as fuel is critical to some drivers and they do not deserve to drive away empty especially during the night.
