Visiting Beefeater today our experience was exemplary we were served by Luke who made us very comfortable.

Took 40 mins to find out they did not have one of the children's mains. Then all together 1hr 20 to get children's starters. Then 30 mins after we received our food, the peas were cold food was just warm. Wouldn't recommend to go here.

We visited Wednesday 16/4 4 adults 5 children and had excellent time due to Zoe excellent service, making us very welcome. She was managing, serving the whole restaurant and bar 90% work load by herself Well Done Zoe.

Breakfast always good, great value if you have children as they eat free. Kitchen staff busy cooking and refreshing buffet food.

Visited here for breakfast whilst staying in the premier inn but to be honest it was a big let down. Unfortunately there were no blueberry muffins both days, and no pancakes on the first day despite these being listed as being available on the menu. I don't think it was a case of they had some out but had ran out by the time we had breakfast (which was 9am, which is not late considering breakfast is available until 10.30am) I don't think there had been any available the entire time because there were no empty trays for them. Even if there had been some out earlier and they had all gone, then more should have been replenished. I don't think this is very good for the price you are paying to have 2 items just not on the buffet and nothing up to say why or offer apologies. The cooked breakfast was barely hot. The first day it was buffet style and the second day cooked to order. Both of these days everything on it was luke warm except for the sausages which were fairly hot. This effected enjoyment and was disappointing. I have stayed in other Premier Inns where I have had both buffet style and cooked to order breakfasts and they have not been as poor as this.

Went to Beefeater for a birthday lunch for my Dad with my Brother. Our server Luke R was polite, efficient without being intrusive and very helpful. It's always nice to meet restaurant staff such a great attitude. Decent food for a reasonable price too. Thank you.

It's a restaurant in the same way as a cross channel ferry is a Mediterranean cruise. Eat elsewhere!

The beef eater here is generally nice On arrival, we were informed that the IT systems for food service had gone down, which was just bad luck. The staff did offer to help as much as possible, although they did advise of other locations to eat out at. The parking at the venue is quite complicated due to it's been part of the hotel so just be warned. If they ask the staff The staff were lovely as I took my daughter who is a two-year-old. They were really accommodating and friendly. Food service was okay and the food itself was of normal standard.

Had a table booked for 6pm tonight to take my daughter and son in law out for an anniversary meal. On arriving were told about a little wait but after sitting at our table for 25 minutes without even anyone taking our drinks order we upped and left for another restaurant. The service was totally unacceptable.

The food was not good, it was luke warm and bland. Steak was supposed to be medium rare it was well done. The service and waitress was spot on. We had a waitress called Charlotte she was very polite and helpful salvaging and 1 star into 3. Drinks came very fast and so did the food.

Staying in a premier inn and we decided to go to the beefeater for dinner and it’s was amazing can’t fault it ruby our waitress was lovely and nothing was to much trouble for her would definitely come back thanks ruby

Stayed at the Premier Inn and had dinner and breakfast at Beefeater. The food catered for all as we had little people and older with mixed food preferences and was of a good quality with decent portions. Our time was planned to eat around the Great Yarmouth area but with the amazing service and interaction from the team we decided that we were more than happy eating each day at Beefeater. The team was great as a whole and the chefs were great to watch working their magic. The standout was Zoe who we all thought was brilliant! She interacted with everyone and the kids loved her! Granny and the rest of us remembered Zoe from our visit last year and we're pleased to see that she was still here!

I stayed at the nextdoor premier inn. I thought beefeater would make up for it as I haven't been in 11 months and decided to get something else. But I was wrong. I sat at my table and discovered they had a limited menu. The service was very slow, and the food was still terrible! I got a fillet steak. The steak was tiny and was BURNT! Wasted £21.49 for a burned steak! I will NEVER go to beefeater ever again

Here for Christmas Dinner and food and service was top draw! We was all very happy.

Called in here for a meal, waited ages for someone to speak to us to then be told, we are not taking walk ins this was just gone 6pm as they had no staff and a limited menu ! It is a large restaurant which had about 6 tables occupied. We won't be going back !

Horrendous is how I will sum this place up, we went there Sunday evening. 6 of us in total, very few people in the restaurant so we got seated quickly, we ordered drinks which seemed to take forever, we ordered starters for the kids which was garlic bread this was cold, we then ordered mains, I chose steak and the rest of my family had something different off the Christmas menu. I asked for no peas but extra onion rings, this didn’t happen, it was cold. We paid and we left I said to my wife… we ain’t going back! Sunday evening my belly turns into a washing machine, I’m constantly being sick, I cannot sleep, I have just come back from Drs who have confirmed I have food poisoning. I’ve now lost money as I’m not at work and I feel awful! If you want to stay fit and healthy stay the hell away from this place!!!!

The place was empty, and it still took 15 minutes to get a drink. The Christmas dinner was too expensive, frozen veg, no mash, no cranberry sauce, and not priced up on the menu. Disgusted with the meal and the price

Stopped for a coffee this afternoon. Unfortunately due to technical problems the coffee was tepid. We were unable to heat up the drink due to health and safety rules. Mentioned it to Tim, the front of house member of staff, who was very apologetic and dealt professionally with the situation to our satisfaction. Thank you.

Great Yarmouth deserves much more care from people... Very nice and clean beachfront, plenty of space, lot of options for kids and adults... Beefeater highly recommended for everyone... Five stars for everything...

No fault of the people working there as they were working their socks off, but very under staffed. Most of the items needed replacing and was very limited in what was available. Food took a very long time to arrive. Again the people working were very pleasant, just needed more of them!

Surf and turf meal was cooked exactly as I wanted the ribeye steak to be cooked rare to medium, the chef was spot on. My husband had a burger stack he thoroughly enjoyed too. We have given our compliments to Sergio the chef. Excellent floor staff on service too. Overall a fantastic start to our date night away from home. Looking forward to cocktails here tonight. Luke (deputy manager) thought it was acceptable to cancel a table that was booked for a 7 year old little boys birthday meal, 2 hours before the allocated time. Therefore, leaving not enough time to make alternative arrangements all due to him making sexual remarks to a family member and him not ‘feeling comfortable’ around the family that he penalised and bullied.

Terrible from start to finish I order a bottle of presoco for my wife she opened it realised it was the wrong bottle took it back and the manager said it was our fault and should of checked very terrible mangers had to buy another bottle of in all I spent nearly fifty pounds when I food come the steak was over cooked chips cold sent it all back the restaurant was quite empty and I watched as people were turned ways unbelievable

I regularly come here for breakfast, due to overnight work stays at the Premier Inn. The service is excellent - Lynsey in particular is lovely, and always goes out of her way to look after me.

Stopped at the premier inn next door so decided to eat here rather than walk up town plus menu looked OK here too. Tbf we got seated straight away and as for first impressions, it looks good with an open kitchen, chef shouting orders out and restaurant full. I decided to order drinks at the bar from a lady that was so nervous and shakey I had to grab my pint incase she spilled it, the soft drinks btw are free refills. On to the food. we had starters which were the chicken wings and breaded mushrooms. Half way through the 4 wings you get, I had to stop as one was froze still in the middle, immediately i sent them back, they did offer to change but i said no as its put me off. My wife said mushrooms wasn't too bad though but luke warm. Mains came and I had the mixed grill and wife had fish and chips. The chips we cold on both meals and so were the eggs on the mixed grill. Oh and if you like grey skin on the mini fish, they serve it here. It looked a small mini fish even though the picture and cost say different, not sure i could eat it tbh. considering all the noise from a nice looking kitchen the food was quite poor. The staff also look like they haven't been doing the job for long either as no one had the plates taken away, they never ask how food is or even smile. The next morning we went for breakfast as we had paid for this on booking, and oh dear even this was poor. Coffee machine broken and limited choice on continental and It says unlimited breakfast on the cooked so you can ask for what you want, so I asked for 3 bacon, 3 sausage, 2 eggs, beans, mushrooms and a hash brown. They got this wrong as It came with 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 eggs, raw mushrooms and the rest. Omg how can you get my order wrong and not cook mushrooms? I Won't ever go back here again and wouldnt advise anyone to try it either. It's been a long time since I've been to a place this bad.

Avoid at all costs , we didn’t even get any service , drink order or food , after 20 mins , the members of staff , stood and watched while the poor waitress done all the work, We will not return

Not very busy but it is end of September so season closing down. You have to pay to park. I was shown to my table and told the waitress will be over to take my order. When she came she didn’t know what beers were on tap, so played it safe with a Guinness. Unfortunately the drink only arrived after I’d finished my starter and asked when plate being taken away. Had sirloin stake which was very good. Then as I’d finished eating and enjoying the last of my pint the waitress suggested I pay which is a tad unusual.

We went for breakfast - it was served cold! Very busy! Great selection on the buffet & drinks. Just a shame the fry up was cold.

Unfortunately the food was not up to scratch. The chips had been cooked within an inch of their lives. My partners gammon steak was tiny and still partly raw in the middle, why they bothered putting peas on the plate we do not know as the portion was no bigger than a dessert spoon full. We stay in the yarmouth area at least 3 or 4 times a year, but this was our first and last visit to this particular establishment.

We were staying at the Premier Inn hotel and went for dinner at the Beefeater, Charlotte went above and beyond with the service, very friendly and helpful, that’s 5 stars from us!

From the minute we requested a table we received excellent service the food was excellent and cocktails were very tasty. All the staff were very friendly and polite and pleasant. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to our family and friends and shall definitely return thank you

We had a table at just gone 5pm on a Friday night, the whole evening was worse than faulty towers, we had to ask twice if anybody was serving as we appeared to be just left at the table, when we finally got served we got our food before we even got a drink! They didn't see a problem in this. I ordered the bbq ribs, I've had them before and they had been nice, now these were spicy, I don't do spicy! Pointed out to them, that you could see chillies on them, manager came and said lots of people have complained and that they are now coming in marinaded in chilli, before they add the bbq. Admittedly they offered to cook me something new, but my group would have been finished before I got my meal, I took it home in a doggy bag for my partner! He loved it though agreed that it would be too spicy for me! When we finally got the bill, it was wrong! The cocktails were on the menu as 2 for £12 yet they charged full price, when we complained they took the bill away and only took 72p off, I had to explain to them again that this was still not right! Food and drink was overall very nice, but don't expect to be served quickly or very efficiently.

First time going here Visiting from Birmingham Brilliant service for 7 of us having breakfast Manager very friendly and helpful and the staff. Food was lovely and fresh and hot Served us all together with no delays I would 100% recommend this place

Fantastic place, Please ask Lynne to do your peach Melba Mocktail (in the picture) was lovely I ended up ordering 3. The food is good, however I wouldn't order the nachos didn't have any flavour to it and I didn't really like the cheesecake but that's just personal preference because I have a sweet tooth. The service is slow unfortunately, however the staff were fantastic always willing to help you in terms of food allergies, more ketchup for the kids or drinks or if you need to order more food etc always have a smile on their face. Thank you to Lynne for telling me and the kids about the fireworks otherwise we would have missed it. If you have kids the kids meals are nice and great price. Overall I will be coming back again.

Great place. We always go whenever we are at great yarmouth. Could have more veggie options so 4 star. Have to give a shout out to ZOE!! She has been AMAZING! Such a hard working young lady. Very attentive! Saw me struggling with my toddler and came up, and made us feel at ease; tried to distract a hungry toddler when we were waiting. Really went above and beyond with her service! Also the lady at the front desk was really nice! Staff here are just all great!

2022 - Grate service. It was quick and not chaotic. Plenty on staff and everyone had a table. 2024 - Terrible service. Slow, chaotic, and 5 waitresses. There was this lovely waitress named Lynn and she was all over the place and looked tired and stressed. Thank you for trying hard but please can all the waitresses work as hard as each other so that workers aren't as stressed! Food was nice though eventhough we had no drinks until we were about finished! Recommended that you go somewhere else. Brecfast is nice as normal but can we sort the staff issue out immediately!

Well th about 7 pm ordered drinks and food the food came at about 7.45 pm but still waiting on drinks just as we finished food drinks came. The food was good I had mixed grill I asked for medium got medium rare on the stake was tasty though the main problem was the staf at a busy diner time only 3 servers only one was doing eny thing there name was lyn 5 star service from them working so hard

Myself my partner and our daughter had late breakfast here. Hazel greeted and seated us, aswell as took our order. From the moment we arrived she has kind, attentive & helpful. Nothing was to much for her when customers asked. In fact all the staff were much the same. It was busy and the staff were patient and friendly. The breakfast was very nice so good that this is where we will choose to eat breakfast next time we're in the area.

10.99 per adult for unlimited breakfast including cooked and continental and all drinks. Children under 16 get the same free! Amazing deal!

Food was cold had to wait over and hour and was moaned at by the chef for late breakfast , staff was running around like headless chickens one didn’t know what she was doing … overcharged on food and drinks think she was clueless to what she needed to put in the till to be honest … the evening food one was perfect other 3 was awful and was left and either burn or overcooked to much hassle to ask for another as the looks they gave you wasn’t nice at all. Maybe chill get more trained staff and smile guys it’s not hard .. oh and stop overcharging families for the food would be nice

The worst service time I have ever done across .

Lovely food, however the service really let this place down. At breakfast, there were several mornings where there was just one lady serving the whole busy restaurant. Her name was Hazel and she was absolutely lovely, however there just weren't enough staff. We waited over half an hour to place our order alone. It was clear she was rushed off her feet, even though she handled this amazingly. On both evening meals we had, several guests left due to it taking so long to order food. Again, there were barely any staff and our server called Charlotte, was clearly very stressed and even said to us how much she was struggling with serving so many people. The whole environment was very stressful and the vibes from the team working there caused a negative atmosphere all around.

Total con booked table and wanting to use the 2 courses for £20 after 5pm Arrived at 530 went to order and was told that the offer was not valid Showed staff the company web page, only to be told that the general manager makes the offer decisions and they are not partaking in this offer This was not explained fully and how can you nationally advertise a promotion and then not take part!!! And without any notice until we had ordered drinks and then proceeded to order food Won't be a minute too soon until this eatery closes as advised

It’s a Beefeater, right? ….so I’m not expecting Le Gavroche (RIP). However, the food was decent pub fayre and above all else, the staff were amazingly good, bustin’ their balls to get the food out and keep the punters happy. They deserve all five of the stars for their hard work and diligence.

Affordable breakfast - not a great experience initially as got told there was no availability (restaurant was half empty) but went online ansmd was able to book a table for that same time... very confusing and when we walked back in with the booking we did not feel welcome so that list 2 stars. Besides that, the food was nice - my partner enjoyed more than I did but it was good for the price

Where to start , 10 min waiting to even be seen Sunday roast ...peas , broccoli,carrots ,roast potatoes , parsnips and meat & gravy Peas like bullets , broccoli stems uncooked , parsnips so dry inedible , roast potatoes the same ...no lamb but the beef was passable And a spoonful of gravy all for the reasonable price of £13.99 each Will never go back , worst Sunday dinner I've ever eaten ...

We had a Sunday roast at 12:30. The food was OK as was the service. The only real complaint was old food debris on the floor from the previous day.

Menus is limited. Food was ok but service was slow. A bit overpriced

We were a large group and we all got served hot food within minutes of each other. Good sized meals at a reasonable price. Welcoming interior.

Waited for 45 minutes to be seen only to be turned away. As bookings only where offered a slot 30 minutes before closing but was told that we would have to rush our food if we took it would not recommend

Visited in Jul 2024 and had a lovely dinner with family. Prices are what they are these days unfortunately, but dependable food and good range of choice. Lots of drink choices and good options for kids. Waiting staff friendly and helpful.

Had a disappointing experience here. My steak arrived significantly undercooked and required a remake, which caused a delay in our meal. Unfortunately, the service was also quite slow throughout our visit. This, combined with the wait for the steak, meant we didn't have time for dessert before we had to leave. To make matters worse, the waiter initially charged us for items that were included in the set menu, and it wasn't until we spoke to the manager that this was rectified. While the manager did resolve the billing issue, the overall experience fell short of expectations.

Getting in was the first difficulty. As wheelchair users we were pleased to find the outer doors were automatic but soon dissapointed when we had trouble getting in to the second set into the Beefeater itself. We were lucky a fellow customer saw us struggle and jumped up to help us. The waitress was great but the Duty Manager not so good. I had the Plant Stack Burger but it did not have the vegan bacon in it and when I complained to the Duty Manager he did not apologise and to begin with said it did not come with it. I pointed it out on the menu and he said he thought I had the meat burger. Then when we came to pay he refused the Vet Card for discount. Saying it could not be used with the offer we had already qualified for, even though the Vet card says it does work on top of offers. Then we went to the loo before leaving only to find it really difficult to access and not enough room to turn chair round in there. So not a very good experience all in all. Sorry will not return in a hurry.

Very disappointed, it's the first unlimited breakfast I've had where you have to order exactly what you want from the waiting staff at your table. We were seated very quickly but then had to wait a good ten minutes for someone to take our orders. We then waited around 45 minutes for the breakfast to be served, we could have easily walked out without paying as no one came to the table nor did they tell us where to pay.

Breakfast visit. We have been to a few beefeater breakfast sittings and this was the worst. Seated quickly but that was as good as it got. Chaotic continental area. No hot buffet. The wait on our hot food was 30 mins plus. On arrival, bacon leathery, sausage the same. Supposed to be "unlimited" but due to the wait and lack of buffet, we left loaded with toast (because we could access it) but not a lot else. Their system does nor work! Probs saves them money on the amount if hot food they serve because people can't wait for a second helping!

Went in tonight for my mums birthday meal. Even though they were really short staffed the food and the staff atmosphere was amazing. Between the three of us we had starters a Fillet Steak, Rack of Ribs and a Chicken burger. The food was amazing!! The two people that helped us were Lynn and Tim and they were absolutely amazing and they were on their own! Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended!!

Have been numerous times and never had a bad meal. The steak is always cooked how I like it and they do some tasty cocktails. We've been for the 12-5 lunch offer as well, which is a meal under £8, lots of selection and good sized portions.

We had smothered chicken chunky chips , I had skinny chips and gamon steak, off the £8 lunchtime menu. It was absolutely 💯 %. Luke our waiter was jolly, helpful and very welcoming, didn't meet Sergio the chef but his cooking was superb, a definate 👍and very well presented. Hazel was very friendlyand helpful also. We hope to make this our regular lunchtime venue, if the £8 deal stays. We'll done all of you.Thank You

Average food Average Place! Tables need to be cleaned better as our groups table was sticky in places. Has a sewage problem!....as soon as you opened the outer door to the toilets you were hit with a sewage smell which carried on into the toilets itself, ladies AND disabled! Expected better! Would I return?...personally no!
