Yummies in Great Yarmouth

I had the chicken burger after a long day at the beach, this was lovely and good value for money! Would recommend highly.

Shocking got the order totally wrong took it back just added chip and that was it no sorry I’ll sort it, there using vacuum sealed boxes you don’t hardly get any meat in them at all shocking avoid at all cost goes else where BBQ house 1.000 better

Ordered a pizza and some garlic mushrooms to be delivered to where I was staying. Food arrived hot and in good time.

Needing a meal quite late it was 11.45 when I ordered and asked could it still be delivered. The customer service is always so friendly and polite. My family and myself have been ordering from this establishment since it opened. My Son used to love the kebabs so much that was when he was a teenager he's now 40. We order on birthdays and other occasions. Usually there's a little wait at there peak times but it's understandable. Tonight and on many other occasions the burger 🍔 and chips were Yummie.

Whether instore or ordering by phone the staff are friendly and helpful. Gorgeous food, cooked fresh and is always hot! It's brilliant 😁 definitely recommend 😁😁

I’ve been using yummies for over 25 years. The original owners looked after us all. The new owner continues to serve amazing food and looks after everyone who uses Yummies. The food is always cooked to perfection. Do not hesitate in using. All the staff look after you and well and the food is amazing.

Ordered a Shawarma Meat by it self for 8 50 and delivery charged me 12 50 at door opened it and was just full of greasy chips called back the man said oh it was right and price was more for the sauce salad and delivery wasnt ahappy he asked me if i wanted soemthing else he said he send me lamb and just sent me donner kabab instead this place has gone downhill since mohammed left big time will be letting all my friend family not to use them no more u just lost out on lot custom

All the staff are so polite and friendly, they helped me carry the food out to my car and open the door for me, the food was ready quickly and was fresh and hot and tasted amazing. Really recommend

Went here to get food for ourselves and visitors. Very busy with pre orders and walk in customers. Served very quickly and order cooked freshly. Good quality kebabs and good amount of food. All were very satisfied with the food provided which was also at a very competitive price. Will definitely use again.

Normally excellent but last time waited a whole hour for delivery....

Disgusting rotten hard chicken shawarma, i asked for large portion and they put very tiny portion of chicken filled with full of salads. The chicken wings had chicken bonny smell as we were biting not feeling happy to eat when you get rotten wings bonny smell. Very disappointed. The lamb donner was also tiny portion with full of salads. I thought i go back and return but i again thought it's not worth it to go back and ask for refund. Never ever to this take away absolutely disgusting. I ordered large donner chicken, large lamb donner, wings & chips and nuggets and chips. I drove 7 miles for it when i saw good reviews. I thought it should be a good take away and we enjoy the food but after eating that we felt seek and very upsetting. These people make haram money by upsetting customer. I felt i go back and refund but i was so upset that i thought, will never come to this shop. These people don't understand that we are paying for it and you are charging 5 times with rotten hard chicken and doner kebab. Never pop in and buy cash or card with them. Buy through third party like just eat where you can get the money refunded.

Very rude !!! Asked for chips obviously didn’t hear me, until I received order, didn’t even ask if I then wanted any, I would have been more than happy to pay for them, just carried on serving next customer blatantly RUDE ! Lost my future custom

Very disappointed been using Yummies for several years however won’t being going back. Ordered Donner Kebab, Chips and Salad. All I got was donner meat, salad and handful of chips all together. Always had the chips separately and didn’t even get pitta ! Is this now extra ? They assumed the donner and chips was for me where’s as the chips could have been for someone else.The chips were smothered in chilli sauce so would have only been suitable if the other person liked chilli. It’s a shame as the food was really tasty.

Mostly have food order delivered to my home but have on 2 previous occasions called in to collect on way home. Always friendly staff even though they are extremely busy always acknowledge me & my order is taken quite promptly. When placing order by phone telephonist is polite & efficient. Now the FOOD & that's why I realised the name of the business is called YUMMIES 😊. Everything I have had is top notch. Kebab meat never over cooked hard or dry but how it should be moist, the salad, the sauces all EXCELLENT. Pizzas cooked just right. In my opinion the best takeaway in area of Gorleston.

I have used Yummies for a number of years and tonight really done it for me. If I could have put a negative score I would have. Got home from work and placed my order @ 7.03pm for delivery be told it would be an hour for delivery, I know they are busy on a Friday night so do expect a little longer to wait. 8.45pm was when our food arrived. We checked the food to see if it was hot enough as we have had a late delivery before and the food was cold (1st chance) sure enough food was cold and when having a donner kebab which is cold it does not taste nice. So refused the delivery. If I was told it was gonna be an hour and 42 minutes I could have ordered from elsewhere. Such a shame as I like there food. Rather disappointed!!

Have ordered from yummies a few times recently and the food is always exceptional. Always arrives hot and tastes amazing. We always ask for extra crispy wedges and the guys never fail to disappoint! If anything the food is far too good as we keep wanting to order again!! Definitely the best takeaway in Great Yarmouth and surrounding areas. Wedges are amazing and definitely a must have and the homemade chicken burger is to die for!! Thank you all at Yummies!

Best kebab shop in Gorleston and gt yarmouth

We was away on our break, and we decided to have kebab for dinner being our last night staying at Haven Wild Duck, the staff were friendly and polite and even gave our daughter a lollipop whilst waiting for our food, when we got back to our caravan the food was still hot and tasted delicious, my daughter is fussy with what she eats and she enjoyed it. If I come back to this caravan park I would definitely order from there again!! Highly recommended! 😋

Never had bad food from here to be honest whether it's chicken,chips,burgers or pizza ect,had ANOTHER shish kebab last night and was so so good,meat is always tender juicy and full of flavour only kebab shop that leaves the fat on the meat but cooks it to perfection if I had the money I'd eat here everyday 👌

We was staying in Gorleston for a holiday and fancied a Kebab. We looked on Google and Yummies came up as the closest. We popped in and we were welcomed by the lovely friendly staff. While we were waiting we was given a nice free sample. When we returned to our hotel to eat the food it was very lovely and would recommend this place for takeaways.

Won't Ever use again ove an hour and half for food and it was cold on delivery 😩 call them and told them this and they were very rude about it saying I have to pay for it , or I cant have it . Disgracefull, it was 8pm by this point and we were hungry, dont use them. Made every excuse. Didn't even offer anything off or extra just plain rude. Not even worth the one star

I dont have a problem about the food, I don't have a problem with the girl who took our order. What I do have a problem with is the fact they got our order wrong. And then when we called the girl said she will sort it. That was great. Then someone else called from the shop and said "can we make do" No we can't make do, that's not what we paid for or wanted. Very rude indeed. Possibly will have to find an alternative 🤔

We had yummies for the first time the other day & we were really, really impressed!! The food was piping hot, cooked perfectly & arrived in good time. Really good service & we will definitely be back!!

Cold tasteless food, arrived late, items missing, waste of money.

After placing an order for home delivery with a wait time of 45 mins, 3 phone calls made later to see where the food is. It arrives 1 hour and 50 minutes later. Stone cold and salad missing. After 20 years of going to yummies, being a regular customer. We will not be returning! The last 4 times we have had a home delivery either the food is late by at least an hour or there are meals missing. The service is a shambles for them to say your food is late because they have walk in orders? Should not affect orders which have already been placed. If it’s late, would be courtesy and good customer service to call the customer and let them know dinner will be late and apologise! Yummies are run by dummies!

Used Yummiest many years ago but because of change in circumstances haven't used for sometime. Pizza was the best I've ever had will definitely be using again

This is by far the best kebab I've had from Gorleston and Great Yarmouth. The meat is cooked to my satisfaction. My son loves the chicken and my daughter the pizzas. They are usually very fussy kids. The potato wedges are banging. Staff are amazing. When I get it delivered it's super fast. Highly recommend.

14 inch margarita with extra cheese pizza was very thin and had no extra cheese told you it had no extra cheese but you still charged me for it also asked to pay by card driver turned up with no card machine and said cash only so I then told him I asked to pay by card when I placed the order he still said cash only and to then tell me he had no change!!! Is this to scam the customers!!! I'm not happy I have been using yummies for years and this is the first time this has happened and will be the last.I have always recommended yummies to my friends I won't be anymore

Absolutely ridiculous. Avoid. I rang and messaged very specific instructions. And they got every part of my order wrong by not reading what I put. When I phoned they even commented on the order because they new about it. Now I've been waiting an hour for my food and now have to wait longer. God for sake what would happen of it was busy. I do not recommend at all

Didn’t fancy going out in our last night in Yarmouth, and found this takeaway in a parade of shops in the middle of an housing estate. It was fantastic. Chicken Special kebab was beautiful, the potato wedges were the finest I have ever tasted. Service was quick and polite. All in all a great meal

I ordered a Donner Kebab, Cheesy Chips & a 9"Cheesy Garlic Bread. My order was delivered on time & was really very tasty. I would definitely order again without a doubt. Thanks guys.

Whenever I fancy a kebab or kebab shop pizza or chicken and chips, I always, always order from here. I don't know what it is they do different to other places, but it doesn't get better than Yummies. Down here on hols, did a quick Google search for takeaway and Yummies came up near the top. Excellent mixed kebab, salad was fresh, pitta hot. Best kebab in a long time. Kids had cheeseburger and fried chicken. Both were very good. Good job I don't live anywhere near or I might be popping in more than I should. 👍👍
