The best restaurants serving American food in East of England

I want to like this place I really do but beef burgers are dry & Coleslaw was way too salty. Service was average, first time visiting for my OH and he won’t be returning! No atmosphere in there tonight either!

The food was great. We attended the first carcass club there. And despite the service issues we would go again for the food. That said its important to highlight the areas for improvement. Firstly we were seated and then forgotten about. It was only after the table next to us had ordered and recieved their food that we felt to chase if we should be ordered. It was a surprise to the server we hadn't ordered yet. Secondly a member of our party has an egg allergy. We were offered a replacement sauce that did not contain eggs. This was forgotten when the food came out and we had to have it changed. Finally (and most minor) the set menu includes a glass of wine. We were not made aware of this so ordered wine, which was unnecessary as we would have enjoyed the complimentary wine had we known. All in all the food was great. The service was lacking. Probably due to the first time hosting this sort of event. But something I'd watch for (especially the allergy!)

Food arrived and was underwhelming. Items were missing and clearly hadn’t been packed by Foxy Wings as they were part of a meal deal. Manager hid behind the fact that we ordered through Deliveroo and didn’t offer in any way to rectify the situation we were in. Told us to seek a refund through Deliveroo. However that does not help the situation in that moment….. family still hungry!! Overall the most expensive burgers we have ever eaten!!!!!! After being such huge supporters of this individual business and even crowdfunding this space I am hugely disappointed in the lack of customer service. I have recommended this restaurant numerous times. Missing items is not the issue, how management deal with that is the problem. Very very poor! If Foxy Wings choose to use Deliveroo then they must be prepared, particularly as an independent restaurant, to consider how your reputation could be damaged in situations such as this. The management were completely inflexible and didn’t seem to see the issue. Getting a refund in a couple of weeks time doesn’t ensure we all enjoy and eat a celebration meal together now!

Absolutely delicious! The Peri Peri Chicken Rice at Fat Roosters Hemel Hempstead is next level – perfectly cooked, packed with flavour, and the spice was just right. The chicken was juicy and tender, and the rice was seasoned beautifully. Portion size was generous and great value for money. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Definitely coming back – highly recommend to anyone who loves bold, spicy food!

It’s ok - not bad for a nearby pub when you’re staying on a campsite. Very little choice other than this place unless you want to go offsite.

Prices were pleasantly surprising.

Fantastic service, especially Helen the waitress. She was welcoming and great with our kids. The food also was fantastic. What a great start to our holiday.

Lovely atmosphere at Coasters on the High Street in Southwold, food was 10/10 and the service to match...Will come again!

This is by far one of my favourite restaurants I've been too!! I had the stilton and mushroom veggie burger which uses plant based meat. I will definitely be coming again! The chips were also seasoned so beautifully absolutely amazing! The customer service was brilliant too!! Thank you 😊

We have been to ICE many times for cookery courses, chefs bar and the cafe so we felt safe booking here for a family celebration (husbands 50th). Disappointed is an understatement. * my nephews burger was stone cold *two steaks were well done rather than medium rare and both served cold *veg with the roasts were served luke warm Deciding to pick our battles we complained about the steaks. One was reheated and a new steak served to my husband some 30 mins after.... by which time the chips served with were cold When we complained we were offered a £2:40 reduction on the steak. We pointed out the steak was for our guest of honour and wasn't really acceptable. The waitress then said as she stood beside him "maybe we can serve a candle on his dessert to compensate!" It's not really about the money, it's about the complete disregard for ruining our evening and terrible delivery of service. Shocking evening. We won't be returning to ICE but, I don't think they will care 🤷🏻‍♀️

We went here recently and ordered the burgers and milkshakes. They were amazing. Great vegan food and good atmosphere

Ordered a takeaway of jerk chicken and rice, steak burger, loaded fries. Got home the food was cold, jerk chicken was burnt and inedible. The loaded fries had no toppings except salt. Very disappointing after hearing some mixed reviews. Won't be going again as much better places to eat!

It is what it says! A truck stop. However very clean and good food. Portions large and very good value for money. I use it weekly

The breakfast was a little slow coming from the kitchen but was very good when it arrived. Good quality breakfast food, nicely presented. The waiters were friendly and welcoming. A reasonable price too. Parts of the building are under renovation so entrance is from the back and there is limited parking on site at present.
