The best restaurants serving American food in England

This is the bar they refer to as Kaso in the evening 9and my review relates only to the bar) - There are things about this place that are good and things that are not so. We popped in here for a drink having been to Bibo across the road for dinner. First impressions were good as the security team were very polite and well mannered (and having been in that game myself I was pleased that they were creating that good first impression) but it all went wrong when we got out of the lift on the 7th floor. As we walked from the lift to the bar area we were summoned (and I use that word very specifically) to a podium and asked "how can I help" which seemed like a silly question when arriving at a bar at 10:30 in the evening. I said my wife and I would like a drink and he said how many of you are there. Now maybe I'm being a little pedantic but "my wife and I" should have provided clue 1 and the fact that there were two of us should have provided clue 2, but hey ho. But then the very unfriendly front of house guy then said "..we're very busy so if you don't mind standing outside follow me.." and walked out to the terrace dropped a couple of menu's an the top of bench and walked off. Now I'm OK with the place being busy, the standing and the being outside (after all it was peasant evening) but a) the attitude was poor and b) shortly after our arrival he took one small group through to the main bar and then 2 minutes after he dealt with us sat a group of 3 young women at a table six foot away from us and brought an extra chair so they could all sit. Now as I mentioned I've worked in the security industry previously and if I need to validate my views on this I looked after security for the Met Bar in the late nineties and 2000's, Sketch and MoMo's for Mourad Mazouz, The Collection, Home House and a host of other we'll known venues so I know when someone is being disingenuous, and he certainly was. We then met one of the bar team who (and I wish I'd taken his name) was very friendly, asked if we needed any advice and took our order quickly. Unfortunately by that point I was a bit pee'd off so we decided to drink our drinks and move on somewhere better. Would definitely not go back.

Visité este lugar en el jardín de RHS Wisley, 28 de octubre. Tenía un bap de salchicha. Mi esposa tenía un bap de tocino a un precio de 4. 50 cada uno, puedo decir honestamente que ambos estuvimos de acuerdo en que la comida era repugnante, fue la peor que hemos tenido nunca, no puedo pensar en otra cosa que pueda decir, aparte de que también fue excesivamente cara. We always visit kaspas when we are in the area. We love the desserts there is plenty of choice on the menu. It is lovely & clean staff are brilliant can't do enough to help when your placing your orders. See you next time when we are in preston.

This was a great burger loved the food everyone on the table was happy and I could not eat any more if I tried. This is one place I can't wait to go back to!

Been here before in July thought I would give it second chance since back down on holiday but as soon as we sat down it was frozen as big doors were open asked if could close them told no so everyone that had jackets put on them ordered 5 mains of which 3 were not good at all 1 was macaroni chese which had Been overcooked and burned my dad so called gammon steak looked like it had been scalped from someone and my cajun chicken fries had alot of chewy bits and then when tried to redeem them asked for desserts and told limited so as far as me and family concerned not worth wasting your money on such a pitiful place

Good venue with good music but the bar staff seem to want to serve the younger generation that they seem to know before customers who have been there for a good 10 minutes at least before them. Specifically the lad with the blue in his hair. Not good customer service

Friendly welcome Starbucks I’ve been part of a visiting film crew to Watford, and thank goodness for the proximity of Starbucks for my personal caffeine needs! Josh (only name I heard) and the team there were always friendly and welcoming. Keep smiling all! Lucy 🎥

Good mocktails, food standard nothing spectacular won’t be rushing there again, lovely staff. The burger tasted like any other takeaway cheese burger nothing that wow...

Pedí salchicha doble y huevo como comida y una doble y salchicha y huevo por su cuenta adivina lo que solo conseguí la 1 salchicha doble y huevo bien hecho macdonalds me estafó de nuevo. eso o el viaje a través de hembra no puede contar el tiempo fue de alrededor de 10 . 15 am para que sepa quién es.

Really fancied a burger so went to 5 guys Southby Road Enfield good parking guy at the till was pleasant enough dining room was empty ordered my burger which didn’t take long was quite tasty but for over £10 for just a burger is a complete rip-off won’t be going back unfortunately

Excellent cheese burger cooked perfectly to our Medium request. Tasty fries, generous portion, enough to share. Very friendly staff, great music. Happily go back if ever in the area. We visited on a Sunday evening and booked a table on line, as it happened it was very quiet with a free booth and lots of regular tables. I would imagine it’s essential to book on a Friday or Saturday. Lots of outdoor seating when the weather is suitable.

Very good burger, good fries and nice staff! Perfect for a lunch or dinner after a long day of walking or shopping. Our second visit in 2 days!

Needed a convenient place for food after visiting Dad in nearby nursing home and found the Victory. Friendly and welcoming with a great menu reasonably priced food freshly cooked to order. We all enjoyed our meals and felt very satisfied afterwords. We are happy to recommend.

On a mission to explore the West Sunniside area of Sunderland as despite knowing the number of bars and restaurants etc in area is growing just have never got round to trying them. Called here for a drink after a spontaneous Saturday evening trip to one of the nearby restaurants... lovely place, really relaxed atmosphere and very enjoyable visit. Will definitely be back
