Came here a few times for a latte and a blueberry tea bread. With lots of drinks, snacks etc. There is a small area to sit but there are other places to sit in the gardens.

A good sandwich in a convenient location. The prices are fair and the bread was quite good. Meat was good.

Delicioso y asequible.

Friday, 5:30pm, 3 tired and hungry children, with no other restaurants nearby, this restaurant seemed like our saving grace. After speaking with the wonderful lady staff, I was informed they only serve a very limited menu. That's ok. Kids just want food, so sausage and bacon buns were fine. Initial observations: Irritated manager. Anxious lady staff (looks like family). Not many people in the restaurant (note time and day). Lots of pedestrian traffic outside. Buns only menu. Mash as other choice. I decided to go against my instincts to stay and feed my children. When payment was due, I handed over my credit card to be told by the 'short-fused' manager that their card machine wasn't connecting. I waited till he was willing to hand the card back to be told again the same thing and this time, the monitor was turned to show me a message. He then continued with "do you understand? Can you read this ?". I am of Chinese origin, but surely, he wouldn't be referring to my appearance in speaking this way ?So, being a bit dumb-founded, suggested I pay by cash. Cash was taken, and the message was still being repeated again that he doesn't understand why the card machine isn't working. I was then shouted at by the same man, now holding a plate of sausage and mash that I've paid the requested amount but its £4.50 short. "If you want this mash, you pay another £4.50 !" Ok. I wasn't expecting the food to be waitered to my table, but don't shout at me. I can't believe my ears? Is this what tourists have to put up with, because he's clearly still thinking I'm one. I have paid, but he's realised he's under-charged me, now he's holding the plate of food from me like from a naughty 'hungry' child? Bemused.. Totally. Enough's enough. I've asked for a full refund and willing to leave with family in tow. "No ! The food is here !" Pointing at the rest of the order. Ok, no refund, being shouted at. Food with-held. Citizens advice bureau - next stop. Friday afternoonLots of pedestriansNo customersSimple, dry food at crazy London pricesWhy? Trust your instincts.

I'm no expert on bacon or sausage rolls, but my bacon roll was freshly made to order and came on a lovely warm roll. Add a little horseradish mustard for a kick! If you want to sit in the park and eat, this place is nice and simple.

We ate at this place for our second date, and returned a year later to the day with fond memories of our first visit! The best bacon roll I've ever had - unfortunately my other half couldn't say the same as they'd ran out of bacon when they served him, but he was very pleased with his sausage bap. Quite expensive for what it is, but definitely worth a visit. Will see about visiting on our second anniversary next year!

I love the Honest Sausage. I've been to 2 different locations: the one in Regent's Park (the bigger one) and the one in Kensington Gardens. They have the BEST bacon rolls in London, hands down. Sure, they may cost a little more than most pasty places, but you get delicious, free-range wholesome food in a beautiful park setting. Nothing beats a delicious bacon or sausage roll and fresh orange juice on a fine summer's morning out of doors. Nothing! I highly recommend it.

I've eaten here a few times over the years when it was Bubba Gump so thought it was a safe bet for a birthday celebration meal before a night at the theatre with my husband. How wrong I was! There was no great welcome with lots of standing around in a cavernous space at the top of the stairs waiting for someone to eventually come to the desk. Then it was not clear if it was a queue or a crowd as the people who got attended to were in no particular order. We had booked and noted it was for a birthday. Maybe I should have mentioned that the birthday person was well into middle age and then we wouldn't have been seated in the midst of a lot of families with young children more with an atmosphere more like a fast food 'restaurant'. We asked to move but the only other place was a table looking onto an open area where the staff congregated to chat and serve drinks. It didn't look too clean and was an ugly view. The food was okay but very overpriced for what it was. The main courses were all over £20 and the cocktails were £10. I'd have expected a lot nicer surrounding and better food for this even in central London. I had the New Orleans Shrimp which were tasty but there was hardly any sauce so was very dry and I couldn't eat the rice without sauce. I will not be returning.
