Great food, old fashioned pub, feels like a step back in time.

Visited on St Patrick's day. Would not recommend. Very unsavory welcome. The bar maid was more interested in her phone than finishing pouring my pint of Guinness (it had settled a minute prior) Then the karaoke speakers were overly loud and distorted, we try to raise the issue and they give us hassle, and deliberately raise the volume to cause us discomfort. The karaoke staff were not friendly. If anything the woman looked us up and down like we were dirt. Then we get told if we don't like it go somewhere else. I didnt have the choice of where to go, my mother flew in from Ireland and this is where the group was. We get heckled and laughed at when I walk off. (I'm autistic and the volume was causing me discomfort, the entire pub was distorted) Would definitely no recommend! If anything I want this issue to be addressed. There was no need for the volume to be that loud in the first place, and no need to raise the volume if we tell them it's distorted and causing discomfort. Really am seriously upset with the way we were treated here. Like I say, I didn't have the choice of place, it was where the group was at the time. Would not recommend.

Fui a este restaurante como asistir a un evento al lado. La comida era preciosa y el servicio increíble. Precios muy razonables especialmente las margaritas. Sin duda volveremos cuando en la zona.

Had our wedding reception 7/2/25 at jimmy macs thank you to all the staff for making it a great night ..the love staff are so friendly and chatted away to all guests making everyone very comfortable. Thank you to the ladies who decorated the tables with the random items I brought food amazing and even boxed up leftovers. Highly recommend

I ordered a chicken wrap expecting a proper meal, but what I got was a joke. As you can see in the photo, there’s barely any chicken in it – just a thin smear of sauce, a sprinkle of cheese, and a few tiny shreds of meat if you can even call it that. The rest is just empty tortilla. Totally not worth the money. This is not what you expect when you pay for a chicken wrap. Won’t be ordering again. Big letdown.

The staff now are very officious. The manner by which we were ejected was offensive. We used to love this pub but the current staff were offended when we “were not standing” to show our willingness to leave even after us explaining we were waiting one of our party to return from the toilet. An otherwise charming venue spoilt by staff who were unnecessarily rude. We won’t return there anytime soon.

I recently visited Lost Boy Chicken, and I have to say, the food exceeded all expectations! We ordered the chicken burger and curly fries, and both were absolutely delicious. The chicken burger was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and came with a tasty combination of fresh toppings. The curly fries were crispy, golden, and seasoned just right — a perfect complement to the burger. Everything was served hot and fresh, and the flavors were spot on. Highly recommend giving this place a try if you're craving a tasty meal!

Called in here for brunch. Our waitress was excellent; attentive without being overbearing. We ordered drinks and both the tea and the coffee were first rate. When the food arrived, we were both extremely pleased with the presentation and the quality of the food, which was way beyond expectations. The ambience and the decor were spot-on and the music was pitched just right and at an ideal volume. The staff were excellent without exception. Honestly, I cannot fault anything about Fagin's and I will return as soon as possible.

We were unhappy at having to wait an hour for our meals last night and received a public dressing down from the chef when we said so. Readers may be pleased to know that food is cooked from scratch but this is not made clear anywhere on the menu or by the waitress when ordering. This place describes itself as a pub, not a fine-dining restaurant. Being publicly humiliated spoiled our experience of the food and we won't be going there again.

Love this place to eat , always friendly service and quick, food is delicious. Only quibble is some portions like the popcorn squid need improving, either a bigger portion or not so expensive for what you get ! £8.75 is definitely too expensive for a few bites.
