Them smash burgers are a different breed…Never had a burger like it, might make you dribble it’s that good

*Absolute rip off for what you get* Firstly, I was left waiting for over two hours when just eat stated between 30 - 45 minutes, I'd of never bothered in the first place had I known it would take that long. So many other people have said the same thing too on their reviews. (Funny that!) Fries were cold and weirdly chewy, could tell they'd been re-heated more than once. The burger was dripping with grease, so much so, I couldn't bring myself to eat it, and was binned. (What a waste of £20 + Shame, as I used this place before a couple of years ago and it was alright. 'Will definitely not be using again'

Took 2 hours 45 minutes to deliver two burgers and two chips. All of which were thrown straight into the bin on arrival. Everything was cold, and the one chip I did try tasted stale too. Both burgers had more sauce on than anything else, and it was dripping out of the sides of the packaging mixed with loads of grease. Absolutely disgusting! Would strongly advise anyone to find another place before wasting your time and money.

Gross slop! Wouldn't feed it to my neighbours dog.

1st time trying theses and unfortunately was a little disappointed that's only due to haveing salad but on after saying no once mixed with sauce pain to have to scrap it all off been contacted by the company to apologise and will try again at somepoint

If I could give 0 stars for service, I would. We ordered off a food delivery service. The food was both late and stone cold. When I rang to let them know, they didn't apologise but just said they're busy and as we were repeat customers, we'll order again so we should just accept it. We're not coming back if this is how you treat repeat customers.

After a mix up with delivery and paying twice one of the owners persucam to our house to reimburse us our money. They guys here are brilliant and can't thank them enough... And the food is brilliant

We have always usually had lapd in the past, and it's always been very nice, but tonight's was awful 😖, the chips was ice cold and soggy, and the burger meat tasted like donna meat and all fell apart and was so thin :( tasted awful !! Definetly changed the burgers, we have had before.Its put me off going again

We've ordered from LAPD food a couple of times now and it's been consistently very good. We've had both the chicken and smash burgers can't really fault them. Nice and fresh, massive burgers for the price. Chips are incredible too. And don't miss the chicken wings either, nice and crispy batter on them. 25% off if you order for collection, winning!

Ordered for the first time tonight and got the Christmas special of a Gravy Beef Burger twice. The burger came with 3 wings and we paid £1.50 to make it 5 wings and we both got that which was such a good deal! We also got a cheesy garlic bread to get free delivery on Deliveroo. It's expected arrival time was 9pm, we got a notification at 9pm saying that the food was setting off and it took 25mins to get to us - I'm not sure how far away we are but unfortunately the wings weren't crispy anymore which is the only reason I marked it down (I'd have done 4.5 if I could) but everything was still hot, the wings were juicy, the garlic bread was soft and exactly what you wanted and the burger was flavourful and it didn't fall apart like some can do. Only issue was we only had 5 wings, not 10. I reached out on Instagram because the app hadn't updated to say delivered and they gave me their number to contact. I rung and spoke to Louie who was really helpful, he said there'd been an error and we shouldn't really have been able to get the wings and burger combo for that price but that wasn't our fault and they wanted to honour it so are delivering another set of wings to us now. Really nice of them, it is getting a bit late for a weeknight because it'll be no doubt gone 10 by the time it rocks up but overall the food was really high quality, service was great and we'll definitely order again.

Spot on takeaway, LAPD! Burgers are proper lush, wings are bang on, and the chips? Right good. Their pizza, though, is the real winner – absolutely top. Delivery took an hour but that’s the slot they gave you,m. Five stars, no messing. One of the better one in Stockport.

Absolutely horrible, couldn’t eat it!.. £33 spent on 2 burgers and onion rings. Buns were so soggy they fell to bits when we got the out of the packaging. Chips were stone cold as were the onion rings. Burgers were as cold as the chips.. all in all the food was inedible and we actually binned it. We had ordered McDonald’s for my children and that was hotter and more inviting than this rubbish. Never EVER again will I give this company my money. If you’re scrolling to find a good burger on Uber and this is the only place to choose, pop some soup on the stove you’ll enjoy it more!… 😡

Owner called himself to make sure I wanted the free pizza as had forgotten. Really glad I got the extra free as for the price these pizza were a little on the small side. Nice tasting but definitely not 12” both were barely 10”

More expensive than other places and nothing special at all. The food was only just warm, you don't get that many chips with the meals and there's no skin on the "skin on fries"

Absolutely loved LAPD! The pizza, are honestly better than Domino's and such great value for money. Special shoutout to Chris, their delivery driver. Somehow, he gets the food to you and it still feels like it's just been cooked. Fresh and delicious! Pro tip: Don't bother ordering through Uber Eats; it's pricier and by the sounds of other reviews it’s always late. Go directly through LAPD's website instead and they have deals all the time. The website might be a bit dated, but trust me, the food is worth it. 5/5, will definitely be ordering again!

Ordered from here numerous times. Most recently had a problem with an uber delivery driver (no fault to the shop) and spoken to the shop and they quickly rectified it and turned my bad experience into a good experience. If you like a spicy chicken burger then this place is the 1.. I've tried luckies, florida, philladelphia, deens, shake bae, miamis you name it and I must say there burgers are banging. The double spicy burgers are huge, Code 8 Chilli sauce is very good very nice. Remember my name when I order in the future I want the same 10 10 treatment (y)

Biggest waste of money I've ever spent. I've made better smash burgers at home, no char or crust zero flavour on the burger, wafer thin burgers, paid extra for peri chip instead got a very small portion of regular chips that were stone cold, not to mention waited over an hour for it. Extremely unsatisfied.

Pizza was terrible , cold and dough was raw . Not enough toppings and my son actually had a bad stomach after eating it . Will not be ordering from there again !

Ordered through Uber Eats. 2 hours passed with the order not having even been sent for delivery. Contacted the restaurant and I was offered free dessert to compensate for the wait. Another 20 minutes passed when the order was then cancelled on Uber Eats. We rang the restaurant and they said it was the driver’s fault. The food was supposedly cooked and ready to be delivered and we were instructed to reorder through Uber Eats. At this point the pizza offer we had ordered had been removed from the app and then shortly after the restaurant became unavailable to order. We decided at this point to cut our losses and forget the order. Can’t review the food as it was never delivered.

Over an hour late, beef burger was wafer thin and buns covered in so much sauce you couldn't hold it. Chicken strips came with what looked like a chicken wing with half the meat already pulled off. One of the drinks was missing from the order. Used to order here once a week, not again. 2 stars because the fried were alright.

Best place about for high quality takeaway food in Stockport. Plenty of choice and all high quality. Tried the pizzas, chicken and burgers from here, all banging. Staff and deliver staff are super friendly as well. Got all my mates on it and they love it

Lovely food! I ordered a some sides last night, and it was honestly amazing. i can tell that the workers making it love their job! My only complaint is that chris was old and wrinkly but other than that the experience was perfect!

Amazing food and amazing service, especially from Danny who looked after us. We ordered the mayhem burger box and can honestly say I wasn’t disappointed it’s definitely worth the money. Overall the Lapd Food does excellent food and worth a try.

Cold pizza, delivered well beyond (30 mins +) promised delivery time. Ordered dip replaced by Garlic Mayo .. no apology or notification of substitution. And this has happened before too. Have been a customer since they started but time to give up now. Will not order again.

Placed an order lastnight. Chips was not cooked and cold. Burger had more sauce than meat and bread was soggy. It was clearly just thrown together and no pride in cooking at all. Won't be ordering from here again and would recommend you save tour money. I spent over 30 pound and all ended up in the bin. Very disappointed

Ordered online got no delivery and still waiting for a refund after three days and three phone calls that seem to have been entirely ignored

Ordered here a few times and never had an issue, until tonight. Ordered 4 meals, only 3 arrived. When I called I wad told 4 meals definitely left. It was ordered via uber. I was promised a call back within 5 mins, 15 passed and nothing. Called them back again and was advised cctv checked and 4 meals were definitely put in the bag. The bag arrived stapled shut so unless the uber driver carries a stapler around with them then 4 meals definitely weren't put in the bag. The guy on the phone was useless. This will be the last time I ever use this place and its a shame as the food is nice. I'll be sure to advise people against using this burger place too and recommend others

Ordered tonight via Just Eat, took a while to arrive and food was cold. The peri twister burger had no curly fries on so it wasn't actually a twister burger. Chicken was tasty but not impressed overall and will go somewhere else next time like Luckies!

Do not order via deliveroo. When ordering told a 40 minute wait, yet food took 2 hours 15 minutes to arrive on a Wednesday night. When I called I was told the food had been cooked and they were awaiting a driver, that was an hour before the food was delivered. After sitting arrround for an hour chips were stone cold like cardboard and didn't risk eating the burger after being sat around for so long. Deliveroo don't deem these to be an issue and so no refund for food which went straight into the compost! Avoid.

50 minutes late, stone cold, no lettuce or tomato on the burger, fries & onion rings tasted of fish! Complete waste of money!!!
