In Starbucks having a coffee Three staff and the language has been ripe to say the least including the f and c words. A father a young daughter 4ish came in and I asked if they could tone down their language due to a small child being here - the person agreed - however one didn’t and said ‘F that’ loudly so I could hear What a shame that three young people in a work place open to the public should feel so little empathy !!

Your usual Starbucks experience, so nothing to really report but the service was really very slow even when it wasn't really very busy.

Unfortunately service was slow and we were time limited.

We visited your coffee shop in Witney this week just gone and were served by kieran. On entry into the Coffee shop we were greeted by kieran with such a warm welcome we were quite surprised. The experience continued with a very helpful time at the counter and then to cap it all kieran suggested we take a seat and he would bring our coffees over to us, which he duly did. So full marks to kieran he certainly does Starbucks proud. And I have to say that I thought we had the best at your Starbucks witney store. Barrie & Hazel boraster

This Witney Starbucks is great. The service is always with a smile, and the coffee is always great. I always stock up on coffee beans too, that they happily grind for me. 10/10 rating.

On a Sunday morning I would guess the most inexperienced coffee maker was there. Each coffee in front of me took around 10 minutes to make. This meant I waited around 20 minutes for my turn and another 5-10 minutes for an oat milk flat white to be made, and I had to ask for my muffin to be given. Guys, don't put your most inexperienced/slowest guy out there on his own, he needs help! People were waiting so long for a single coffee I reallllly wished I had just gone to Costa across the street. I blame management, not the poor sod who was clearly so slow he was either brand new to the job or needed more help. Management - sort your s*** out, train your staff; this was the reason I will never come back! I was not amused to wait nearly half an hour for a flat white when I paid your extortionate prices.

i have been coming quite regulary as of late. staff are very welcoming and friendly, very sad to see new supervising is leaving. always works hard, is friendly and approachable, even offered me a free drink when my card somehow declined. she will be missed, and good luck at new job! and she put a heart on my latte!!

Love the friendliness of all the baristas at this Starbucks, so much so that I’ve become a regular. They deserve the 5* star rating for always giving their best. I’m very impressed at how well they do all the drinks customisations - always spot on. Can’t thank them enough for the amazing coffees and care. Thank you.

We use our local Starbucks about 5 to 6 times a week, the staff are always helpful, pleasant, friendly and cheerful, no queries are too big or too small, the team will always find a way to help you out. Special mention to Jenny who is a credit to the store, we are so pleased to see her back and to Taz, Nathan, Harry, Reagan, Layla and Jake, such lovely natured people and not forgotten Sue who goes above and beyond and always with a smile. No toilet roll no hand soap. These are basic essentials and the price we pay for a drink this is very poor.

Starbucks Burford never seem to have enough staff or any of the standard products available. They elven ran out of coffee a few weeks back! Very disappointed

The 2 members of staff were rude and clearly couldn’t be bothered. Swearing when we walked in. Coffee wasn’t available for 10 minutes, which was fine so took a seat then shouted when it was ready when other people received table service. All tables were dirty with cups & plates left on them. We had to clean and sanitise our own table. We were given wooden cutlery which was useless. There was one man flat out asleep in the back, another man playing his phone flat out to the point we had to move. Will not be returning. Shame on you Starbucks.

I was served by a young blonde girl at 12 20pm ,I went to pay cash to which she was very rude ,I proceeded to pay by card .. I took my seat opposite the counter and watched walk out the back say to the young brown hair girl about me wanting to pay cash and looked at my with a filthy look ..her manners need looking at or retraining !!

Lovely drink, but what a shame to see them through away all the cakes at the end of the day. Especially when someone brought a good to go meal before they were gone, he waited at the till for 5 minutes. They should have waited to see if anyone had the deal. Doesn't cost anything to show a bit of compassion. Otherwise, would recommend.

This is our first visit to star bucks and this will be the last. Ordered 2 panini’s they where just warmed up in the microwave. I asked a member of staff “please could these be toasted? Which she did. But these where only very slightly toasted on the top the rest of the panini was soggy. The hot drinks where given 10 minutes apart. Then I noticed there was no sugar, no spoon and this hadn’t been offered to us by a member of staff. So had to get up again and ask for sugar a spoons. The members of staff gave me the impression they just didn’t care about there customers. I spend over £23 today on 2 hot drinks, 1 orange juice, 2 panini’s and a roll. Didn’t enjoy any of it what a waste of money. This is definitely my last visit to star bucks.

Staff lovely, but toilets dirty & don't appreciate having to pay 5p per cup on top of drink.

Visited Starbucks Witney today for the first time. I found it to be very dirty. All tables were dirty and the floor was disgusting, I spotted piles of hair and food in corners and under our table. The windows were filthy and worst of all was that out of the three staff only one had a mask on! We ordered coffee and cakes. The drinks were fine but the cakes very dry on the outside. Overall a very disappointing experience. I won't be going back.

Visited here this afternoon sat 4th of Dec and was disgusted at the unprofessional members of staff. There was a female staff member that was not in uniform but in the potwash drunk and telling her drunk boyfriend she can't leave otherwise she will get the sack. Loud, obnoxious and totally unprofessional! All the while the other staff members working were laughing and did nothing about the situation. We were going to sit in but decided not to.

The staff here are always friendly and welcoming, even when it's a busy lunchtime rush. The drinks are always made correctly too. However, don't expect it to be open at 7:30 like it says on the app, at least once a week all the lights are on but no one is home and the doors are locked! Or no one had bothered to open up at all. I know we are in strange times but they could make an effort to open up on time.

Poor! Trued the new caramel waffle latte .. tasted like milk with a sugar, no flavour at all . Lady was on her own serving and making drinks so not sure if my drink was rushed! Always a bit hot and miss the witney branch .

Great drinks at reasonable prices

Visited last week for takeout drinks and I have to say the service and the drinks were awful! This is the 2nd time in the last few weeks we have visited and the 1st time was probably just as bad. There was two younger members of staff on and instead of concentrating on the customer they were too busy flirting and messing about behind the coffee machine . The drinks we ordered were of poor standard , I had the caramel brownie frap and there was no flavour at all it was like milk watered down and my husband had a caramel machiatio which he said was like warm milk no flavour. The customer service certainly lacked and reminded me why I normally visit independent coffee shops .

Would like to thank Jenny and the other barista, who’s name we didn’t catch, for the amazing, friendly service they provided on Fri. 18th at 12:45. They couldn’t have been more lovely, the chai tea and the iced vanilla latte both tasted delicious! A special thank you to both of these women for a great visit.

Friendly, fast and efficient service!

Due to my regular choice of coffee shop being shut i chose to go here instead of the always packed Costa although the service wasn't overly quick the drinks they served were of a satisfactory standard

A very convenient Starbucks, very clean with good precautions in place. My wife and I felt safe enough there.

So happy to find a coffee shop that knows how to adhere to and maintain social distancing. All tables cleaned, customers asked to fill in track & trace. Well done Starbucks and well done to the staff here. Also, my first pumpkin spiced latte, yum...

Visit quite often, never disappointed. Even with the Covid problem, this location is run perfectly. Friendly, efficient,helpful, spotless. Staff regularly cleaning tables, insisting everyone is logged in and can always find time to help those not so tech able to download and how to use the NHS app. Great management and a well done to all. It’s a shame some locations are not run as well as this one.

Place a bit stark, staff are lovely

Disgusted at this place, little four year olds cannot quickly use the toilet unless you have brought something first no matter how desperate they are. Thank goodness for Costa opposite!

Have got used to Starbucks over last few weeks as they provide take away, so much so that I have converted from Costa/Nero. Pleased to see that they take the present situation serious and put into place everything that is required and sticking to it. Top job guys

Too many people break the back. Starbucks will never go under because it's been around for decades in the US so the general reception (excess noise, Kevin the teenager types) days is best avoided. This is the issue: the venue attracts a lot of morons from outer space. It's a shame because the service is decent. The trouble is, simply this. Starbucks at its best is brilliant. The coffee is typically excellent to considered. The way it's packaged is right on. Paper cups. Environmentally friendly. Veggie food options are decent and tasteful. Lovely salads and sandwiches. Mostly passable hygiene. Disabled access. It can be quiet and pleasant, or busy and rowdy. I enjoy both, except the morons from dramaland. As a bipolar diagnosed manic depressive, it doesn't take much to get on my nerves. Hence the average rating. It's the worst case scenarios, not the staff. The general public Starbucks attracts is either unemployed and retired people like me (and I'm under 35), and or "super size me" American Dream whinging poms. Really sticks in my throat, some people flit around so seriously making others lives a misery, or are "shiny happy people" pretending they're having the most stupendous insincere time in creation. Yes I sound like An Idiot Abroad's Karl Pilkington here. I just hate to see all this effort wasted on what needs to be maintained. Hence, don't treat two stars out of five as negative. It's about the weird times and greed of the human race. Once most of the moaners realize their problems come from what they want to attract, the better.

Nice coffee and cake.I was told by staff member who took my order that no dogs were allowed so we dried off chairs and sat outside (raining).A couple walked in past us as we were sitting outside with their big dog went inside and sat down!!Very annoying,please can they decide if dog friendly or not !!

My wife and I have been coming to the Witney Starbucks for two years now. It has always been our favorite place for coffee, and now with the new manager, Jenny we feel even more at home. She's wonderful and has prepared her team to behave like professionals. They're all wonderful too.

This place is really let down by one particular female member of staff who is always Incredibly ignorant and obviously in the wrong job. Whenever she is on duty I go across the way to Costa instead where the service is always friendly.

Taz and young chap working hard, the other dark haired girl just spent time talking to friends. So not quick service. My husband told her the toilet required paper, and she just looked cross and certainly never replaced whilst we were there.

Coffee was good, as usual but the service was awful. One server, messed up the till then left another server to clear it. I told her there was no paper in the toilet but she stood and talked to her friends leaving the one and only other server to work the till and make the drinks. I could have paid the same 25 foot away for my coffee, at Costa, next time I will.

Coffee was nice as normal however when paying didn't apply my points didn't ask if I wanted to use the money on my card just did it

Popped in for a coffee. Sorry, you'll have to have it in a paper cup, we have no mugs. No problem. Asked for a croissant, you'll have to have that in a paper bag, we don't have any plates. The seats and floor are filthy. The two staff were doing their best but this is the worst coffee experience I've had. Gross

Refused to brew filtered coffee! Waited 10 minutes for Rhen(Jim Bob jr. Was the name on her nametag) to acknowledge I was at the register. She did make sure that all of the dishes were washed before she even looked my way. Then when I asked for filtered coffee she said they didn't have any but that she could give me an Americano. Starbucks without brewed coffee. That makes sense. Appears to be waiting to brew. Laziness!

I choose Starbucks over the other high street because the actually serve ‘filter’ coffee - actual filter coffee - coffee that has been filtered... not watered down espresso. On today’s visit to Starbucks in Witney there was filter coffee available. Why? Because they had no filters for their machine. Isn’t that a bit like KFC running out of chicken?So instead I had an English Breakfast tea. Nice pyramid shaped bag like the high end Tea Pig brand, but instead of being highly porous allowing the tea to infuse to a point of spoon meltingly strong, the bag material was more like goretex in its waterproof quality. Hence it took the writing of this review for the tea to brew to a suitable strength!All in all a poor representation of the Starbucks brand!

Good place for coffee and busy one too depending on what time you go. Just ordered coffee to go as there was no place to seat and mug's and dishes from previous customer was just left there.

I used to like to sit and relax in Starbucks Witney with a coffee. Always been friendly with the helpful staff and felt very welcome. That was until about a year ago (maybe less) when a new manager started. Never have I come across someone so loud and rude. One day you go in and she is all sweetness and delight and friendly. You go in another day and she is so rude and abrupt. Most of the nice friendly staff have left and the staff that is holding on and still working there are miserable. The manager is so loud and talking about her private life so everyone in the cafe can hear her. Screeching and laughing and over the top for all to hear. I have changed my location of having coffee now. What a real shame.

Great flat white and warm oat and raisin cookie but really let down by the very aggressive manager (lady with hair tied up). Didn't look me in the eye when adressing me and didn't listen when I told her I was already being served. Pulled her barista about by her jumper and called the lady next to me a c#@t inder her breath to the barista she has pulled about. Then proceeded to argue with that woman. When I'd sat down she stormed into the back office and I actually heard her roar.. I came here to relax, not watch a drama. Customer service training needed asap!

There was a nice atmosphere even though I had come in at closing they still made me a drink. One guy was also helpful although II can't remember his name about helping decide what drink that I wanted. All of the staff where lovely however

I have been to many coffee shops in my time and staff have been offensive and miserable. But as I walked in the girls were so friendly and seem to know there customers names. This is a coffee shop with a huge amount of love for people who want a nice chilled time while having there morning coffee or going there for lunch. This is defo a place I shall keep coming too. Thanks guys. Maybe I will get a free coffee next time lol.

If you've been to Starbucks before, then you know what to expect. If not, it's a great cafe with great drinks and a good selection of food and snacks. I go there a lot, and have never been let down.

My wife and I have killed time in many Starbucks on two continents, but the Witney location has the most charisma I've ever experienced in a coffee shop. It's a great place for a frap or a quick bite, and the manager, Beckie, is sort of a celebrity figure in charge of a friendly, helpful staff. If she's working the counter, she'll have a smile and something clever to share, and has taught her team to do the same. Four thumbs up from us.

My mate and I go in here at least 3 days a week after the gym. The place is always clean, tidy and you get quality service. The Manager Becki does a great job keeping this place ticking over.

I know Starbucks is Starbucks but this is one of my favourite. The staff are always friendly and cheerful. There's always a great atmosphere. Just love sitting here with a latte and watching the world go by. Great place to sit and do some work too with plug points
