Mario’s has always been my goto place for take away for over 5 years. I ordered 2 x chicken kebabs tonight as I know they are always amazing. I was so disappointed by the standard of the chicken delivered I could not eat it. It was chewy and not up to thier normal quality. The rest of the kebab was great. Something has changed here. Sadly I will not order from them again… so strange as it’s usually good quality. Ps, apologies as when delivered the food looked great, this is a pic of the chicken I had to dispose of.

Good pizza and chicken shisha kebabs. Fast and fresh, family was happy. Slightly confusing menu for kebabs, so ordering in the restaurant helped.

I ordered 2 x chicken shish kebabs for delivery. It was as gorgeous as it has always been. Delicious! No complaints.

Ordered large mixed kebab meat and chips. £11! And it was tiny portion size Hardly any chips. So expensive. I would hate to see a medium or small. I'm still hungry after eating and I'm not normally like that. So expensive for what it is and quantity of food. Food did taste nice and was hot. Chipping Norton in general is expensive area. But with the portion size given combined with the price it's not good.

Always ordered from here and never had an issue until last night. Ordered my child chicken nuggets and chips. Only for them to be delivered mouldy. Underneath the batter the chicken was covers in green spots. Absolutely disgusted and management didn't seem to care! WILL NEVER ORDER HERE AGAIN!

Mario’s is a 3 minute walk from our airbnb so me and my partner thought this would be an obvious place to order from. We had been travelling all day so we decided to be lazy and get it delivered. We place our order at 9:20 and we had an email saying expected delivery of about 10:20. We waited the full hour plus 20 minutes before calling about our order. They told us they attempted to deliver but no one answered and tried to call. They said there driver knocked and in the special instructions we told them to ring the door bell (we are staying above a shop on the third floor). I had no missed calls but I realised that was a my bad as we put my work mobile number rather than my personal. However I feel like they didn’t attempt to deliver because I was keeping watch as we had a window which gave us a clear view of the entrance and I didn’t see anyone. Another 20/30 minutes later and we saw a delivery driver getting out his car. So my partner managed to get down two flights of stairs and get outside whilst I watched the driver wait outside. He didn’t attempt to knock, ring the door or call us. He then immediately started complaining to my partner about how he had places to be. The driver clearly didn’t read the special instructions and wasn’t interested in making the delivery. After getting our hands on the food the chips were vile and had a weird taste to them and the burgers were nothing special either.

This pizza was probably the best pizza I've ever had. Even before I opened the box, the delicious, appetising smell greeted my nose. Starting with the base, which was of a perfect thickness, nicely fluffy, and with enough crispness not to be too soft, and not soggy at all. I also appreciated that the base became a lot thicker and a bit crispier at the crust, which meant that it was both better to hold, and a lot more enjoyable to eat in itself. On this perfect base was a tasty tomato sauce, evenly spread, and in the perfect quantity giving the cheese a firm foundation, and keeping the right strength of flavour and unnoticeable background texture to compliment the cheese optimally. I also noted that the sauce didn't have too much of a complex flavour, allowing the cheese to take centre stage. The cheese had a delicious, creamy flavour, and there was quite a lot of it. It was incredibly stretchy, but by some magic, the annoying thing where the next mouthful's cheese comes off in the first bite didn't happen, likely because of the hold provided by the tomato sauce. The cheese had a nice level of oil, not feeling at all greasy, and not too dry either. The pizza was a good size, edible for one person, or with enough to share with those annoying family members who always want some of your pizza. Finally, the pizza was served at the perfect temperature, warm, not too hot, and also not at all burnt. All in all, this was just the perfect margarita pizza, exactly how I would have liked it. The staff were also friendly, and service time was quick, probably around 10 minutes. Move closer to my house!

As an Italian that loves pizza, even if is not even close to a real italian pizza, i can say that they make the best chippy pizza in the cotswold.

Visiting the area on holiday and decided to give Mario's a try after a long journey. Everything we ordered was very tasty and arrived nice and hot. Only slight criticism is that the delivery took about 90 minutes, but the order did say delivery can take over an hour during busy periods.

The best kebab I have ever had. Kebab and chips was amazing. My husband had burger and cheesy chips and he said it was lovely. Service was great.

Stopping over from York and the service was amazing, the food.... Well this was probably the best kebab and chips I have ever had, I would definitely recommend everyone to try this.

We are visiting on holiday and had pizzas and took away, the staff where friendly and welcoming but the food was Definitely not worth £30 it was greasy, undercooked and meat on pizza looked a funny brownish grey colour. Definitely not happy with product

Couldn’t even get the order right and they weren’t even that busy. Chips came without the cheese and looked like they’d been over cooked and sat around for days. Pizza , well I’ve had better oven pizzas… the garlic bread with cheese, in all my 35 years garlic bread with cheese is usually served as a pizza garlic bread , not once have I got the slices of garlic bread you buy in the freezer aisle, but today was my not so lucky day. Kebab meat was ok. For the money spent I wish I had gone out for a meal with my partner. Would never purchase from here again. I am never one to really complain but this was appalling.

The chips were fine - in fact, probably better than average takeaway chips. The pizzas were dreadful. I even tried souping them up by applying tomato puree because Mario's hadn't used any. They were still terrible. I don't know what the base was made of but it was like no pizza base I've ever tasted. They ended up in the bin. Bit disappointing, really.

Would not take collection order over phone. They're so rude it's not real. Go elsewhere... unbelievable

It took 2 and a half hours to be delivered when they said 45 minutes for delivery.. the food was cold and they got the order wrong! Will never order from them again

Good place, only tried once but got a pizza and my picky kids loved it. I wasn’t expecting much when I walked in, but the guy behind the counter was nice and service was quick. Haven’t tried anything else yet, seems like a bit of a grab bag but I’d recommend it for the pizza for sure

Just had a home delivery in Chipping Norton currently spend over £10 delivery cost £2, meat feast pizza and lamb doner, really fresh, very good value for money will definitely order from them again 😁👍🏼

Delivery service there is always issues, no change, short of food ie. You order 5 pieces of chicken and get 3. Terrible customer service. the only thing they have which is half decent is pizza the rest is very poor quality. I won't be ordering again from them

Well what can I say... I’ve been coming to marios for years now and I absolutely love it. The kebabs are unreal and you always get a good portion. Never feel like I get ripped off. And the pizza. OH. MY. GOD. THE PIZZA. Absolutely delicious with a wide range of toppings and sauces available. Chips are incredible too. I would personally like to thank Mario himself for his services to the United Kingdom. And the food industry. Amazing ❤️

Servizio a domicilio piuttosto puntuale e autisti simpatici. La pizza chiaramente non è come la classica pizza italiana, ma anche se diversa non è male. I fritti non sono il massimo, ma comunque tutto accettabile.

I wouldn't recommend to buy any pizza from them but if you're looking for a kebap or a wrap, they do some good ones.

Food was poor, both burgers was falling apart and the buns was soggy as well as all the food being stone cold, said delivery would be between 45-1hour, shows up nearly 2 hours later! Phoned the shop and was told driver was on way. Asked for the receipt as I paid by card being told the total was £23 to find I had been charge £25! Won’t be ordering food from there again, very disappointed

We've been ordering pizza from Mario's since we moved to the area 7 months ago. Always great pizza & friendly staff :) We order from here roughly 3 times a month & it's been great every time!

I have to say, this place gets a bad reputation on reviews, but the pizza was magnificent. I'd suggest pick-up to avoid the delivery issues. The only minus was the chicken on one pizza was a bit manky looking and tasted a bit old. The pepperoni pizza, however, was probably the best pizza I've had in years. Avoid the chicken and you should be safe. If you don't like the kebabs here, let me remind you, the name of the restaurant is Mario's PIZZA.

The worst take away we have ever had. The food was disgusting and went Straight in the bin. £33 wasted cheers marios .

Me and my family ordered some food from Mario's, and the price we was told was £25.50, so we waited for an hour or so. When the food arrived the gentleman told me the price which was £35.50, so I told him we was told it was £25.50 and then his started to have ago at me because I didn't have the right money. When we was told it was £25.50, so now I have to pay it when I next order some thing was there. But I can tell you now I will never be ordering from there again, as don't like being treated the way I was at my house.

First of all, i decided to order a pizza on my brisk saturday evening, as I was feeling rather peckish. I decided to order my favourite dish, a pizza of the seafood variety, hoping for a tender and blissful meal. We thought we would try again as first time had it delivered and was over cooked and cold so this time Ordered for collection . Made no difference pizza was burnt and tasteles the kebab had so much chilli sauce that it was un-eddible will not be using again

Terrible. I have no idea why it's getting 3.8 stars. Perhaps they've never had a proper kebab or pizza? I had a take-away kebab two nights ago, it was so over salted as to be almost inedible. The chips were an overcooked soggy mass of potato that weren't sure if they were supposed to be fries or not. The entire establishment reeked of cooking oil. About the only good thing is I didn't get ill from the small amount I managed to eat.

About the only positive about the takeaway myself and my other half ordered, is that it didn't make me ill.We ordered donor kebabs and they were terrible. The entire place reeked of cooking oil, so we stood outside whilst waiting for our order. I'm not convinced there's any decent ventilation in the establishment.The only flavour I could distinguish was salt, salt and more salt.The chips were overcooked soggy fries that sat in my stomach like a lead weight.Best avoided...

Had kebabs from here not long ago . Kebab was really greasy and tasteless but the worst was it has some hard lumps in the meat which actually broke one of my teeth. I've had pizzas from here before first one was really nice the second time I had it delivered firstly they turned up to deliver it with there kids in the car secondly it was rank tastes like someone has tipped salt all over it . Avoid this place .

It took way too long to deliver for what we ordered, and when we received the food it was appalling. The chicken wings were oddly shaped and tasted like cat and the nuggets where dripping with grease.

have to say this place definitely ranks as one of the best places for a take away pizza. friendly staff, and reasonably priced, you wont be disappointed here - they pile on the ingredients too which is a bonus.

Sloppy dough form the pizza and not much toppings either when ordered the other persons looked so good compared to ours. It was so oily and burnt on the edges. What a Shame as normally your guys are good at pizzas .....

Así que pedimos para una entrega a Stow on the Wold no sólo toma una hora en llegar, pero también fue una orden pequeña. Pero resulta que estaba muy fría cuando llegó y todos metan en una bolsa pequeña squashing todo lo que pedimos. Obviamente la comida era recalentada y no fresca y acabó arrojando toda la orden. Decepcionado y fuertemente no lo recomendaría! !

Great when you fancy a nice pizza, kebab or chips! The staff are lovely and talkative if you talk to them, we never have to wait too long and it's got some good prices, as well as meal deals if you're eating with more than 2 people.

I rang them and asked about a delivery charge and they said £3, adding that to the cost of my order which was £10.50, it should have come to £13.50, however when the man arrived he charged me £14.50, I foolishly didn't query it at the time. Then the pizza itself was absolutely vile, the topping tasted disgusting and it made me feel sick from the first slice, I wasn't even able to finish it as it was so awful. So not only did they over charge me, I wasn't even able to finish from revulsion.

This takeaway shop is absolutely great, the people are very polite,they're doing right business, delivery is quickly, the food was great. A + Recommended
