Amazing food, drinks and vibes !! Staff is beyond friendly and pay proper attention to your very need. I don’t go out often, but when I do, this is one of my few go-to places for these very reasons. If you haven’t been, go- you will not regret it.

Service was fantastic and food otherworldly. This place was mentioned to me months beforehand, so it was only right that I gave it a chance, and I do NOT regret it one bit. Will definitely be coming back!

The worst stake i have ever ever taken!!! Absoutely rubbish taste,, no marination at all… perfect place to waste ur money… wont recommend even one star for this taste and quality…. You could make better at home even if you r makimg first time in life… wont ever recommend..absoulte waste of money !

Terrible restaurant. Ordered dynamite prawns, what a joke. About 7 small prawns covered in an insipid over-hot and under salted sauce for £10.95. We refused to pay for them. I then ordered the classic burger. Tough as an old shoe and tasteless, I had to leave it. The chips were clearly bad quality frozen chips and didn’t even taste fried. They took some money off the bill for the burger. The rest of the food was okay but I would suggest a serious rethink of their menu. I will not be returning and now have to stop at McDonalds for a steak house stack, at least it will taste of something!

Me & my wife went here for dinner & the food was stunning in both taste & the presentation, the staff were very friendly & professional. I would defiantly recommend this place :)

We had a dirty cow, which was “clean” French fries with beef mince and no cheese!?? Very unsatisfactory! We also had “5” x buffalo wings, ok. Then we ordered loaded nachos. Very small portion of nachos, small splodge of horrible bottled guacamole,, small splodge of cream cheese, small dollop of “salsa”, served without any jalapeños!!! Washed down with a “mojito” that was Bacardi and lemonade with 3 mint leaves in it, no ice. Upon complaining and agreeing to only pay for part of the meal, we were called very rude and bared from the restaurant!!! A very unfortunate and regrettable experience. Never again!!

Never open on time shame really missed a family of ten i always live the cattle steaks there the best but never mind just should be on time when there open don’t even answer the phone to take a booking

Came here and ordered a premium shisha about a month ago, after 40 minutes of waiting I asked where my shisha was. Another 10 minutes later it finally arrived. I didn’t have much time to smoke it as the shisha lounge closed after that, so I was very unsatisfied. The staff member who made me the shisha didn’t even offer a discount for the poor customer service. I don’t think I will go to this place again, the other staff members were very kind. On the other hand there was a young DJ playing that night who was top quality, made me enjoy my night a bit more

I would say that, what I had which was the 'dirty cow' was very well made lovely taste and so spicey if you like your spicey food go for it. Presentation could be done in a better way and maybe adding more green to the dish, The mix-grill was simple, didn't expect just three pieces of lamb chops and three chicken?!..yep . Right my downside was the cocktails!! :( I was looking forward to my (zombie drink) well sad too say.... I'm not sure why it has alot of cinnamon ontop? And why it even had it?, and the size of the glass (shocking) too small lol , I have had this drink more then one place , and its better presented and more too it then what we have got plus thr glass was alot more bigger . Also the drinks took forever to arrive , after asking a few times which I didn't get why as it wasn't so busy and didn't look like it took long to make what's been given. I Didn't bother with ordering another cocktails as also the second choice was returned due to taste was not suitable to drink. The atmosphere was nice due to being with friends, music choice played was also a good vibe , lovely decoration on ceiling credit to who ever designed that better to look up then whats around good for photos, The outdoor shisha nice and chilled for those who like too smoke.

Went for my son's birthday, pre booked as always and as requested on the booking said it was for his birthday. Turned up, no one about, just 1 customer visible, after a few minutes someone appears, didn't take my name and said sit in a booth if you like! Not shown to table, spoken to about the menu, nothing! Had to gesture someone over to enable a order to be placed, 3 guys just standing by the bar chatting! A guy in tracksuit bottoms who didn't have a clue took the food & drinks order, asked for coleslaw but was told they didn't have any & when the menus are reprinted it will be removed, also asked for draft coke but was told only little bottles available, yet a bit later I see them making a cocktail using a 1.5ltr bottle. Both our 8oz fillets arrived, both ordered medium rare, 1 was the other was at best medium. I'm not too fussy but expected it to be on point. Both very tasty. Plates cleared, and then just sat, I had to ask for the desert menu, asked if they had just ice cream, the chap in the track suit was unsure so just walked away and asked the 2 by the bar, some looking about it was then decided that they didn't have any. Asked for the bill & was told to pay by the bar! At one point the background music stopped for a while, I had to ask for it to be turned back on, they did but started playing foreign music! In the Shisha bar a smell of weed came out at one point! Not impressed, nor the chief whom came out to the bar and stood with a cigarette in his mouth! (Unlite) I've been going here for years and the old Woking restaurant, last year for my son's birthday they put a candle in his desert and sang him happy birthday, he has been on at me for months to go again this year. I can only presume this restaurant is under new ownership, if so they have loads to learn or there business won't last. Disappointed is an understatement! Rather spend my money in Miller & Carter chain & that's saying something!

Weird review, it was my birthday yesterday and we decided to have steak. We decided to book cattle. When we walked in there wasn’t many tables! We sat down to order drinks and most of the drinks we ordered they didn’t have. Took about 30 mins for food to come out but it was amazing food. Half way through eating my food. They started moving tables and DJ starts setting up. I wish they told me this when we booked as we just wanted to have a nice meal for my birthday. Not even finished our meal blasting music. While eating not one staff member came over to check on us and we couldn’t get their attention as we wanted salt for our chips and more drinks. Tbh this ruined my birthday night. The service was shocking. Staff members shouting and swearing. I was only in Southampton for the weekend and they ruined my birthday. I wish the other steakhouse was not booked up.

Nice place to go in Southampton if you do Shisha. Their shisha is sooooo nice. They also play lots of African hip hop. If you're African, or a fan of afro beats, this is the place to be! Plus their drinks are reasonably priced. What more, it's at Southampton city centre!!! THE CEO IS SUCH AN AMAZING GENTLEMAN. HE GOES OUT OF HIS WAY TO ENSURE ALL HIS CUSTOMERS ARE OK, AND HAVING A GOOD TIME. I'll recommend this pub to EVERY fun lover! xxx

For was good but needed more for £29 for a steak you expect more than a side of chips salad and sauce, could have done with a mushroom and corn on the cob. Waited over a hour between starter and main. Didn't get offered another drink or see the waiter. Slow service lack of attention felt more like a diner than a nice steak restaurant. Did get a free cocktail to test for the Christmas menus.

Absolutely love grilled to have found the Cattle steakhouse joint. Firstly the food is simply amazing and if indeed you are a steak lover PLEASE VISIT. We also had shisha by the out-lounge attached to the restaurant and was good as well. The service on the other hand is exceptional especially loved the interest from the owner who meticulously served me & my lady. We felt at peace and even visited a second time the ne t day 😊🤣. I would definitely be visiting again once am back int he Southhampton vicinity.

A very amazing steak, shisha spot is very friendly, great quality and fabulous service. We were in the city just for the weekend. We went twice because we did like the vibes over there. We defintly recommand this place if you are a fun of good food and amazing vibes.

0 stars, me and 3 others booked a table, took an hour for them to even take our order another 45 minutes for them to bring our order over and then they forgot one of our party’s whole order so didn’t end up eating anything, they offered to cook it 2 hours later, no sorry no nothing, DONT go here this place is a joke

Evening started off well with good service. Food is good for the price you pay. However, the overall service went to near awful. After we had finished our food we were left to sit there for 40 minutes before taking our plates. For context, only 3 other tables were occupied. The manager didn't come over to apologise he just told the waitress to tell us we came at a busy time... I dread to think what it's like when it's fully booked... Asked for some discount to be applied after explaining our situation which was originally denied but later added on. No real apology was given. we were there almost 2 hours for just 1 main each... In a nutshell, food isn't too bad for the price, customer service needs extreme work. They were more interested in having a chat at the bar or putting up fairy lights than cleaning the restaurant.

We went Cattle Steak house to celebrate my son’s birthday. Waitress took the order for whole family but served food for three of us. When I asked for why there a delay on serving my food, she just asked what did you order. After that conversation, she NEVER came back to explain what has happened but I could see she never put that order on her system. No apologies and no sympathy for spoiling the evening for a family. So we ended up having my food ten minutes after rest of the family finishing food. Customer service is very poor and I will not be visiting them again.

Great food but service and vibe of the restaurant was just off. Didn’t get asked about how our food was or plates cleared for a long time especially considering we were one of two tables in the restaurant. Very very loud music coming from outside mixing with a different playlist inside gives you a headache. Luckily the food was the one thing we enjoyed but I wouldn’t recommend to anybody just wanting to go out for a meal. The focus is most definitely on the sisha bar.

Steak was very good. Service and rest of the things were well below par. A simple request for another few sauces took nearly 5 minutes. Fries came without spicy salt and after confirming us with what went wrong in our experience we were told one of the milk shake has been reduced from the bill of over £170. Definitely not coming back, surely will not recommend anyone unless they have extra time at hand and are happy to repeat things many many times.

Medium-well ribeye steak was surprisingly good (but that is expected for a steakhouse). Interior could do with an upgrade and the service was lacking (my plate was taken before I had finished my food)!

Very good food. Love the lamb chops, the steak with cattle style seasoning and the buffalo chicken burger was great too.

I think when opening the place the owner was confused whether to start a steakhouse, cocktail bar or nightclub so he/she just attempted all three at once. In some weird way it actually works. There is a good vibe and I really enjoyed the food. I had the new seafood platter and it was really good but a word to the wise those that don’t like spicy leaning towards plain hot 🥵 stick with steaks. I like it so i am ok. My one constructive criticism is it seems a little understaffed (maybe just Sunday). It takes one solid cocktail order to put the staff underwater. I would come back though. GG

Ok, so we were a table of 15 and ordered at 8pm. The foot started coming at 9:15. The final dish came after 1hour 20 mins. We complained but there didn’t give a satisfactory answer at first We sent one chicken dish back as it was a little over cooked and a it was 9:20 by this time we didn’t bother replacing it. Generally the food was good, hot and tasty so everyone enjoyed, but the service needs improvement on large parties, as waiting over an hour for the first dish to arrive after people arrived after us and left before we were even served our first dish is just a little unacceptable. If your in a large party please bear this in mind as they have some limitations in their kitchen, otherwise your probably ok? However at the end the manager did take £40 off for the inconvenience so fair play for a good manager on that note. Well worth the visit if your looking for a good evening meal.

Went with some friends last Friday and it was not busy as we were the only ones in the restaurant at the time and then some other people came. I ordered the Honey Buffalo chicken wings with sweet potato fries and a Sprite which came together to just under £14. In my honest opinion the price of the meal did not reflect the worth of the food, the portion sizes of the wings were very small, only 4 wings, the chips were nicely seasoned but could have been a lot more. The atmosphere was made better by being with friends however at one point one of the servers kept continually banging on the counter trying to break something, which didn’t help the already dull atmosphere. The person who served us was nice and attentive though so that is a plus. Then again we did go at around 7pm and apparently the restaurant is more lively during the night. If you do want to come here, be ready to spend a bit of money for quite a filling meal however there may be other places that can give bigger portions with lower or the same price and a better atmosphere all the time and not just at night. May return back here but only with friends.

I think this restaurant is by far the best looking and busiest out of the others in the town. My moto is if the place is busy the food must be fresh and tasty. Gotta was not disappointed. Had a lovely time, food shisha and live dj. And the host or I think owner Naz!! 10/10 jack the lad. Not sure if it was his hosting skills or the restaurant itself but was a perfect night. Definitely will be back next trip to Southampton.

Was looking for a quality steakhouse in Southampton and this popped up on the map. The server said they take pride in serving the best steak in town and he wasn't wrong. So cattle comes on a sizzling plate and beef on normal. Ordered beef fillet. Beautiful seasoning, good presentation, perfectly cooked to my like sides were equally delicious. Nice drinks. The interior could do with a little redo. Booths are too narrow to sit in. Otherwise great experience with food and will be back for more soon !

A busy Saturday night and they squeezed 8 of us in last minute as family drove down from Nottingham. . Cocktails were made well.. Most of us ordered steak.. Cooked to perfection! Very good quality meat and a very good chef that knows how to cook it! Had a vegetarian eating with us too who ordered the Halloumi and mushroom burger.. She said it was by far the best burger she had ever eaten and gutted she doesn't live here.. Service was good although 1 dinner was forgotten but was rectified and all was well.. Will definitely be visiting again soon!!

I had the 12oz sirloin, cattle style, with fries and my colleague the 8oz rump, cattle with steak chips. Both were cooked and season to perfection. Like a really well understood steak Cheff and done this. Highly commended. Few mistakes on order, but for the quality of the cooking I was blown away. The meat was very good too, clearly some thought had gone into selecting the correct cuts. Would visit again. Good value for portion size and great quality.

Absolutely Terrible service! So disappointing. Went for a meal with my family on Boxing Day! Waited nearly 2 hrs for food and half of the tables food did not even come! The waiter clearly had his wife and kids there so was serving them first and brought their food out even though we had been waiting for ages! Will never go back absolute shambles!

Service was awful. Waited an hour for our first round of drinks to arrive. We then had to ask to order our food which took another hour after ordering-so 2 hours from arrival to get our food. Food was nice but long waiting times ruined it, we lost our appetite by the time it came. Atmosphere was dead, loud music right behind our table even though no one else was there. Cocktails served in plastic party cups and coffee served in paper takeaway cups. Won’t be returning.

Steak is something I would expect from a local pub not good quality at all for the price of it service is shocking argues with you about the food and gives excuses when I told the waiter the first time about how poor the steak was he came back to me with some excuse the chef had given them tried to charge us over a £130 for the bill but when we worked out what we had had it didn’t add up so pulled the manager on it and he couldn’t work it out himself waste of a journey don’t waste your money

Expensive with small portions. Food was okay but could have been much better. Staff were friendly and helped when needed. Its halal but not a good enough reason to eat here.

Went for dinner for a 7pm reservation. Took around 90 minutes to receive our food. The Sirloin steaks was not too bad a bit disappointed with the quality. The sauces and steak chips were good. Ordered a milkshake and the wrong milkshake was served. Overall it was an ok meal on the expensive side.

We had my sisters 40th birthday meal here, with 10+ people attending! The staff were amazing and couldn't be more helpful and happy they all just wanted us to have an amazing evening, which we did. The food was great, everything was cooked perfectly and quickly. We were all surprised how hot the hot sauce was but equally impressed! Would without a doubt recommend this restaurant as a must for people to visit!

Visited with my friends we were all very exited to get steak. Asked for an allergens guide as I am allergic to gluten, the waitress seemed very confused at this request as if she didn’t know what one even was. She then said she can ask the kitchen when I decide what I would like. We took it upon us to search online for the allergen guide. The waitress returned to inform us that the fries were not gluten free, that was fine. I then went and asked the guy behind the bar for the allergen guide, seeming more like a manager I thought he would be some help. He said he would get it but never delivered. Another waiter then came over to take our order, we asked him to go and ask the kitchen what I could have gluten free - he said that the fries and the vegan burger were fine. For a start they said nothing about the bun which clearly contains gluten. The main thing is the other waitress had said the fries weren’t. It had been about 15 minutes and our drinks still hadn’t arrived. The glum waitress seemed confused when I asked for a white wine spritzer saying, I’ll have to see if we can do them. You’re a restaurant how don’t you know what this is. My friend was so exited for her birthday steak but silly cuisine had no 8oz steak left, she’s very petit and no 12oz would fit in her belly! How can a steakhouse run out of steak! They didn’t try to rectify anything. The mixed messages and absolutely appalling service left us to leave the awful shambles of a place! Will not return and please don’t try and visit. I would give 0 stars but unfortunately that’s not an option x

Absolutely livid. Me and my friends celebrated my birthday and was very excited to explore the menu of steak and cocktails and shisha. My friend is very allergic to gluten and will get violently Ill if any form or gluten touches her body. She asked for an allergen guide which the glum waitress appeared to be extremely clueless about. They told her that she could not eat the fries , then came back later saying the complete opposite and said she actually could! We were given mixed messages which severely put breaks to our night which made us feel very lead on. Anyway, the point is this is a very severe situation as they could’ve made my friend very sick. This is very unprofessional and appalling. There was also no 8Oz steak which was the last straw for us. A steakhouse without steak is like a ying without a yang - it just doesn’t fit does it? So we left feeling disappointed in ourselves for selecting this Awlful place for my birthday . I am emotionally scarred as I feel as though I have put myself in a position of embarrassment amongst my peers as I really hyped this place up and look how being loyal has turned out for me. I now feel judged by my peers and I feel they have lost a lot of respect for me. They won’t be asking me what I want for dinner any time soon now. Thank you Cattle steakhouse x

Went around opening time, chil vibes, good food, good service

Servers were absolutely lovely and the cocktails too! But we waited an hour for our food, the steak was grizzly, pretty sure we got the wrong sauce and the cattle style plate wasn't sizzling and the onions were semi-raw. Not worth it for a £60 meal for 2.

Booked a table for 13 but didn’t get the table till half and hour after the booking then waited another hour just to be served the server was nice but the main thing was how long everything was we was waiting for drinks for 45 mins or more and then the food and some of the drink orders were messed up and never arrived

One of the only halal restaurants in the area, which was the only attraction to the half restaurant/half night club with waitresses with glum faces. The food was overpriced and at best mediocre. Ice cream sold as gelato was as good as a fairground.

Best steaks 🥩 One of my favourite places to eat in Southampton, steaks cooked to perfection every time. Very well priced overall and especially for steaks. Halloumi Fries are also one of my favourites. 😍

Staff were nice and helpful. They seemed to be short staffed though and just one lady serving. Sadly we found the place rather unclean.our table was grimy and the seating was covered in food crumbs. Its like the hygiene level was not up to standard..covid still exists! The food was not bad for the others in my party however my dish had alot of processed cheese and left me feeling sick and dehydrated. Such a shame as I don't think I'll be going there again. The smell and hygiene put me off.. but I mist say the staff were friendly.

I visited this place with my family and ordered drinks outside , the gave me a story about the signal dropping out on the payment machine so they entered an amount again . When checking out my account the next day I had been double charged . At first it was apologetic and we will give you your money back and now weeks down the line , nothing

We all ordered cocktails- absolutely fine apart from the Long Island Ice Tea’s seemed very weak (even weaker on the next round!) We ordered food at the same time- 2 of us had steaks (me being one of them). So we were waiting just over an hour for food, during that time nobody came to ask for more drinks even though some of the glasses were empty for over half an hour. The food came out, our steaks came last and about 15 minutes after our steaks (huge plates with a bit of salad on one corner of it and the steak on the other corner) the small silver pot of chips came out. We both asked for medium rare and they both came out basically blue. Mine was more cooked than my friends but it was covered with pepper. It was overwhelming so much so after about 10 minutes of trying to chew the (still moo’ing) piece of peppered meat, we gave up and I had to get a waitresses attention to say that they were both inedible so she offered to Change them. About half an hour later 2 steaks arrived (our friends had finished their food, this was now about an hour and 45 minutes after we had walked in!) they hadn’t replaced the chips so they had sat on our table and gone cold while we waited for new steaks. The new steaks came out and they had done us 12OZ to replace the 8OZ which was a good gesture. Except these steaks were essentially blue, so much so that my friend had a couple of bites and it was making her feel I’ll with all the blood. Mine had no pepper so I just trooped on and ate it because I was starving. In the mean time, nobody came to see if we were alright or for any more drinks, no offer to replace the chips or a cocktail for free etc, we had to wait 25 minutes to get someone’s attention just to get the bill! So when I asked for the bill I pointed at my friends plate with the live cow on it and said can we have the bill but you can take that steak off because it was inedible again. And he just said Ofcourse, scurried off to get the bill and that was that. No offer for anything else to compensate the slow and inattentive service, the poor cooking of the steaks. So it was still over £100 for the bill and nobody apologised or anything. I wouldn’t go here again, the prices for the steak would be acceptable if they actually cooked them for you. Awful steak considering it was a fillet. Tough and very hard. Service was not good at all considering the prices on offer

Meet not well cooked. Ordered burgers and they are too small for the price. Way way way overpriced!! Basic burger and chips for £10 ish. You want a drink as well, must pay £2.95 extra. Definitely not coming back!

Over £10 for a burger the smaller than a happy meal burger? Gourmet whatever, absolute rubbish for what you pay. The fries were cold, the burger wasn't cooked at all still blood red in throughout. The nachos were soggy and the cold. The mac and cheese bites were OK but that's literally it. Absolute waste of money, go to five guys or even macdonalds for a better experience. Don't think paying more will get you a nicer meal, in this instance it's a rip off and a joke. Never eating here again and was actually looking forward to it after hearing good things from friends, I must choose my friends better.... 1 star, do not recommend cold, child sized undercooked soggy food to anyone. Go red dog saloon, five guys or even macdonalds.

Shishas are amazing! Moha does a really good job. We love being there.

Went yesterday, food was amazing service was on point. All staff members were amazing from the chefs to the waiters as well as the owner. Would deffo recommend and 100% be visiting again 👊🏼

Great steakhouse, decently priced and very chilled atmosphere, when we arrived we were the only diners and the staff were only too happy to help us choose on the menu, serve us soon after and were pleasant throughout our entire visit. Music was a bit too loud for the restaurant, could be turned down just a little when it's rather busy I'd expect. Food was really tasty and the steaks were cooked as per our order ( both asked for rare ) Would definitely come back here for sure as it's lovely and not too far a walk from the city centre high street.

The food was delicious and the interior was clean and attractive. Staff were awesome!

Went there today, was told they don’t have any food lol. A restaurant doesn’t have food? Can’t leave any pictures as there was nothing to take pictures off. Lol.
