Amazing staff and amazing food. Visited for the first time the other day and felt very welcomed and well looked after by Marinela. The food was great and Marinela was super kind and helpful. I’m a very indecisive person especially when it comes to food and Marinela was super patient with me and even helped me decide on what to order. I was not disappointed with the food!! Thank you<3

Absolutely disgusted. First off the blonde older lady behind the counter wanted to shout at us on arrival- should have just left straight away. But we ordered anyway, what a big mistake! 2 people in our group who ordered after me received their food and drinks and were eating when one of them found a hair embedded into the cheese sauce and bacon on his fries. When we showed the lady earlier mentioned she just decided to argue and tell us it wasn’t hers because she has blonde hair… when the chefs in the kitchen all had dark curly hair( and no one in our group did- and that’s the colour hair we found!!) another member of staff who was clearly embarrassed by her came over to help, or so we thought they took the fries away and then we could just hear her shouting about us. My partner then proceeded to ask how much longer our food would be as we had waited 25 minutes (15 minutes longer than the others in our group) to which we got another argument from the blonde old lady. When the gentleman who took the fries away came over to explain that our order wasn’t on their system and to check what we ordered I proceeded to ask just for a refund as I was put off by the hair and honestly I was starting to get angry with the lady’s attitude. Whilst I’m mid talking to him he just walks away… 5 minutes later I go to the counter- yes to the grumpy lady who rolls her eyes and moans that I want a refund… a lady from the kitchen then goes out the back to try ti refund it via head office instead of on the till because my ticket wasn’t on their system at all. Leaving me standing at the counter with the argumentative, sarcastic and rude other lady staring at me talking about me and making me feel uncomfortable. My friend then also came over and asked what was happening with his food as they walked away with it. She said they won’t do anything for him because it’s not any staffs hair and she starts to raise her voice insinuating we placed the hair there. Admittedly at this point I did lose it, I snapped at her because they couldn’t accept any responsibility for the hair that was clearly not ours, not even a sorry which in hospitality this is the worst attitude to have! And then to not offer a refund or replacement was ridiculous. And I stated how rude she has been since we came through the door and I got told I needed to respect my elders… how about you respect your customers??? Refunded now. Left an hour after arriving, never to return sort it out it’s disgusting customer service and disgusting hygiene! The toilet soap dispensers are never even filled and when you try to use them they fall off the wall and the toilets are always filthy too.

I ordered two burgers and chips and drink one of burgers were correct and they gave me the wrong burger with mayo in which I’m allergic to I’ve got no refund either

Nathan’s Own self is vary good place . All staff is lovely just apart of there is one Europion lady she is vary rude . Specially with Delivery Guys . I have seen her how she serve how she treat the driver ( uber,deliveroo , just eat ) vary bad . Just because of her Nathan stick the label there for Drivers . Only become of her .

I ordered £16 worth of food, traveled over 20 minutes to the place me and my partner were going to eat it to then realise they had forgotten part of my order and utensils?? I then travelled all the way back to receive NO apology and just a rude response. They gave me the rest of my food however by that time the rest of my order was completely stone cold. I had then asked for a refund on my order and after another 20 minutes of the lady being rude she had then given me a refund receipt. However i had never received the money back on my card.

It was such an amazing experience, the food was exquisite , the staff really kind. I can say it was a stunning experience. I will definitely come back here again.

The place is spacious and clean. The best hotdog I have ever had, spectacular cheesy fries and unbelievable mustard. The food was prepared quickly and the staff were polite and helpful. Highly recommend!

Fantastic food. We stopped for a quick lunch with some friends. The place was busy but we got our food quick. I would recommend their chilli hotdog and their loaed fries. Special thanks to the store manager Shavindi, great customer service. We will definitely be back.

staff member at the till did not see any value of my order and served very carelessly this was the first time I went to have a take away. sometimes she would have thought that I was not a regular customer.

The food was one of the worst I ordered in a while. Both the fries and the burger patty was as stiff as a board. Ended up throwing the burger. Pathetic!!! Will never ever order again.

The restaurant was clean and empty, so it was easy to get a table. We were told to take a seat and to order from the app, but that didn't work, so we went to the order point instead. This worked fine and was quick and simple. We didn't have to wait long for our meals, but when they turned up, all 3 of the meals were wrong. When we tried to rectify the issues, we were told they ran out of chilli for our chilli dogs, and if we wanted to wait, they would have to go away and make some. Opted to just have what they gave us, which was nice, but still disappointed as it was not what we ordered.

Izabela and Shavindi were really nice and welcoming. Had a great experience after a year coming back. Will definitely come more often in the future.

Ordered a hot dog and chips with a coke. Food is OK, it has definitely gone downhill as the food here used to be a lot better. When the food arrived, they said they didn't have any straws for the drink, (Why not inform me at the time of ordering?) When I asked them to refund me for the drink, as what I received is not what I was expecting, they refused the refund. I'm disappointed, this place markets itself as high quality fast food, but the service is low quality at best. It has definitely gone downhill, I used to go here before and I remember things being a lot better.

Took them half an hour to make 3 tenders chips and a drink No food hygiene in sight No worker wearing gloves One worker changed a bin then proceeded to continue to make food without washing their hands Another worker took a call on her personal phone mid shift Then when they finally decided to make my order they put the tenders which had been sat out since before I arrived Bad vibes

Service was slow await in excess of 20mins. Food itself was nice and I enjoyed. I then decided to order a sundae. After a few minute around 5-10 mins i was informed the machine was not working. I said fine i will have a refund, to which i was informed that it would not be possible. I had to leave without my product or a refund. Will think again before revisiting.

We drove a while to this place as went to the one in coney Island new york and was pleasantly surprised that this was still really good. Food was delicious! The philly cheesesteak in particular was good!

Service can seem a bit slow but it’s worth the wait and it’s always comes out hot. Their chicken burgers are great. Can seem a bit pricey compared to other options but it’s worth it.

Good food and cooked fresh, so this does mean you will have to wait and can be a long wait when busy (upto 30 mins). Choice of toppings for the crinkle cut fries is good but do add to the price (approx £1 per topping).

Had really bad service from some mug called Shavindi who seems to have an attitude towards both customers and her staff! Anyone who works under her should report her to the employment tribunal, this isn't a 3rd world country! And it's clear that managment don't keep an eye on her!! Never ordering there again!!

1st ever visit to Nathan’s, 1st impressions was it was very spacious and clean, staff were friendly and efficient, drinks bought to table within few minutes then food arrived, chips were ok but got a fair few being a large meal the burger I had was cooked to perfection! Also the vanilla milkshake I had I thought was tastier than dare I say it…McDonald’s and Burger King! So I will definitely be making a return here again soon! 😀

I mean where to start… this place has been my absolute go to the afternoon after a night out in Southampton. The staff here are really nice and the food is just unbelievable. The range of wings they have is pretty huge and the quality of each wing will leave you 100% satisfied I promise you… They’re each coated in a crispy breading and then tossed in a sticky sauce of your choice they genuinely melt in your mouth. The Philly sub roll is godly too!!’ Being the only UK Location for a prime spot in NYC you have to try this place out. My order is always the Philly cheese steak sub roll, cheese fries with a few sauces. And 5 wings sauce of your choice… GO ASAP.

Ordered through uber eats. This is soo good!! But chips could do with a bit of pepper. Photos arent that great but it defo tastes great!

Food was absolutely great and I really want to appreciate their services and ambiance. I am especially a big fan of their fries. Overall I really had great food here.

Great food. It was a bit quiet when we went so the atmosphere wasn't amazing. It's a bit pricey but overall very good.

Authentic American food. Can especially recommend chilli dogs, the burgers and their loaded fries. Only because of delivery times (deliveroo) sometimes the food isn't piping hot and may need to be reheated but that isn't the restaurants fault

Ordered twice from here on Deliveroo. First time they forgot one of my drinks. Thought I’d give them the benefit of the doubt and tried them again tonight. I ordered a cheese burger meal, some onion rings and a couple of slushy drinks. The order arrived without the entire burger, a whole slushy missing and the slushy that did arrive was the incorrect size. I mean, Deliveroo have refunded me, but how do you forget the burger in a burger meal?

Shops clean. Foods good 75% of the time. Sadly it seems the recent management has let it down. Staff are rude to drivers and don't read order numbers on phones. Allowing drivers to take wrong orders and then phoning customers to try to send the driver back. Perhaps a management change up is needed? It ran fine when it opened? Maybe an extra member of staff. That might rectify the situation and prevent further refunds on cold messed up deliveries? After this I think I'll just buy beef hotdog's in Costco from now on.

Came in here for lunch not having been for a while, went for philly cheesesteak supreme meal which came with chips and a drink £10.99. Staff were very friendly. Forgot how good philly cheesesteak was, definitely won't be long before I come back!

I've eaten from Nathan's around five or six times now, both as takeaways or eat-ins. On each occasion, I have thoroughly enjoyed my food. It makes a nice difference from the inferior McDonald's burgers. It's unfortunate that there are the negative reviews as I've only had good experiences. The food takes a little longer to cook than the big three fast food eateries take to cook their food, but then the quality is better. The atmosphere itself is ok, but having something than the same old Nathan's advert on rotation on the screen might be nice. The front of house/cashiers are friendly too - today, we had Izabela, who was attentive to us. I'll certainly be continuing to visit Nathan's.

This used to be good when it first started then just became terrible I haven’t been in there for a while but it seems like most things that are new in Southampton that after a while it just becomes awful. I showed up with my son to give him a treat where you are shared at very uncomfortably buy staff as We chose what we there ordered I was the female server can I have a kids cheese burger in which she replied “ a cheeseburger does that come with cheese?” I just looked at her dumbfounded because the last time I checked a cheeseburger does in fact come with cheese and I don’t know if she was joking or being serious but it was a pretty strange thing to say, the server couldn’t hear me or understand me over the extremely loud music and it was very hard to get over to her our order so I had a shout and this got the server very agitated this really made me cross as honestly it used to be a nice place then we sat down and finally our food came I noticed that they don’t do the mustard anymore and just gave us 2 packs of ketchup which for the large chips that where burnt buy the way wasn’t enough but we ate out meal and left in a hurry because of the extremely loud and uncomfortable atmosphere, No wonder the place was empty the service used to be a nice friendly one which is sad really. I will not be going there again as it’s truly gone down hill.

Ordered from here on Deliveroo, had a phonecall from the manager saying there was an issue and that a Deliveroo driver had stolen our order. The manager Shavindi said she would totally remake our order (despite not being reimbursed for the stolen order from Deliveroo) and sort out the issue with Deliveroo. Good service and good food, will order again.

Food always really good, I recommend the New York Philly Cheesesteak. We usually get it delivered because our house isn’t too close to it but went in today. Never disappoints!

They have great food and lots of choice. The servers are friendly, and there is a good student discount. They also do coffees a bit cheaper than coffee shops which is good.

Nathon's Famous is one of the best restuarant in the Southampton. The food was really tasty and the staff was was friendly to us. I would recomend the new Plant Based Buffalo Sandwich to anyone who is a vegeterian. The average price for a meal is in between 5-15 pounds. Hope to visit this place asap.

Made an order through Uber eats; received a beef burger instead of chicken. Ordered three drinks, including two slush drinks and received two cokes. No straws included either. No phone number to contact, and not finding anywhere else to make a complaint. Not happy overall for the price paid.

Paid £21 for this....... price includes delivery. Was all squashed and I had salad not even in the burger, almost as if the person who made this hates their job. Chips were cold when arrived even tho I paid direct delivery. Won't be ordering again too much money for such little care. In the past been good but too costly to take that gamble.

Only go in for coffee normally, but had an original hot dog this time,loved it,much more tasty than I was expecting,not anymore they forgot my 2 lattes and saved my hot dog with mustard instead of Tom sauce,service now BAD.

Paper cups for delivery. Absolute awful type of drink to send on delivery. Should use cans and bottles like everywhere that actually cares about a good quality product. Paper cup drinks for delivery is actually stupid. Understandably the restaurant won't have a choice. So this is a company wide issue.

Was a regular visitor in the US, but the UK example is horrendous. Nothing like the Americans do it. Stay away from the wings! It was recommended to me and the lemon pepper ones were like an atomic bomb of salt. Hot dog was dry and flavourless. I won’t visit again. You’ve been warned

I've ordered on the store machine and app for several times and everytime the order hasn't been received to the store, which wasted me a lot of time. I just sit on seat after payment without realizing they don't even start to prepare for my food. The food tasteis good but I won't come here if the order experience keeps so awful

Nathan's Famous near Hampton Residencies have become one of my favourite go to restaurants recently. They have a very friendly staff and the service is really good. I recently tried Chicken Supreme Cheesestake which was very delicious upto the point it made me do a review on Google. The food is worth the money you pay.

My favourite burger place to visit!

This place be bussin'. I've been to this place 3 days in a row to get me hands on their famous hawt dawgs and wings. This is a place that knows how to do wings properly. None of that soggy baked bollock wings you get from Dominos, this place does proper crispy deep friend wings. The hot honey sauce is incredible. I loaded me fries up with chilli and jalapeno. I was pretty much full after I'd finished the fries, but I figured if I ate fast enough my body wouldn't catch up until it was too late. I put away 8 wings, a portion of topped fries and a cheese and bacon dog. I've got myself a proper hankering for old man Nathan and I'll be visiting at least 2 or 3 times over the coming week or two to satisfy my craving.

Might be better at the shop but definitely not getting this ever again as take out.

Ordered food delivery didn’t take long but somehow food was cold fries were hard and a very small portion the burger was flavourless and meat was chewy and hanging out off the soggy small bun the only good item was the slush.

The only place in Southampton to get a Philly cheesesteak. If you've never had one, get one. Need I say more!

IF you like delicious American food experience this place is for you,the best around Southampton by far. Was clean and smelled good. The staff is friendly and fast. If your in Southampton or passing through I recommend you to to give it a try, you will love it.

Popped in a few weeks ago for lunch while running an errand and got to say very impressed. Was relatively quiet when I went in, ordered on the touch screens. Food made it back to work hot and very good, chicken burger was excellent, fries were hot & crispy and a colleague said the tenders were the best he'd had! Will be back again soon.

I normally order from here and didn’t seem to have much problems the food was great. The unfortunate thing is that I ended up with food poising not once but twice. I would have let it slide if it was just the once since not everything can be helped. My cousin also got food poisoning from the restaurant as well and it was both times when ordering the crispy chicken. Please be careful when ordering from here , as for me I won’t be ordering again.

A completely nightmare.. food was like rubbish staff unprofessional the manager was completely rude and speaking to people like if she was speaking to her relatives thinking she’s the best and the only one with reason… shouting and arguing with costumers, staff members and delivery drivers.. being verbally abusive…. what a completely unprofessional and rude behavior for someone on her position.

Terrible food, bacon burger had one tiny bit of bacon in,.onion ring was very thin and disintegrated when I picked it up and hot dog was overdone, used to love this place but won't return now.

On the afternoon of May 20th, I ordered a chicken wing meal at Nathan Famous. However, I had a disappointing dining experience. The cashier's attitude towards me was very poor. Despite requesting for dine-in service, they ended up giving me a takeout package. Furthermore, they provided me with very little sauce for the chicken wings, making me feel unwelcome as a customer. I hope that you can improve your service attitude. Thank you.

Often rather delicious I must say, but this time was not the same 🧐. My great pal is wildly allergic to mayonnaise and sadly it was added in the burger after he said NO! How sad, sons crying

I ordered a chicken club sandwich, I specifically said no Mayo, the restaurant then proceeded to put Mayo in the burger although I stated I was allergic, I then called up and they refused to do anything. WOULD NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN!

I’ve seen pretty bad reviews on here about the food, but I disagree so much! Me and my boyfriend come in every week (atleast once a week) and food is always excellent, sometimes service isn’t amazing but most of the time it is great. Today we were served by Shannon and she was lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. If you want a dupe for five guys this is defo it. Thank you so much Shannon for great service and lovely food always!! We’ll be back next week

Everything about this place is great

Pretty disappointed in having a 25 minute wait in the store with very little diners and a few delivery guys waiting on orders. Order was incorrect but I didn't want to wait any longer for them to remake anything. It's a shame as a philly cheesesteak sounds great.

Only one ordering food, took abt 25 mins for it to come. Only 2 ppl working in the kitchen and the other 4 are outside chatting and messing around while I wait for my order

Was a bit disappointed with my food I had delivered. I had my eye on this place because it looked good but the hot dog was stale, onion rings were like cardboard and my drink was flat. Also didn’t include the sauces I was supposed to get.

Me and my partner both decided to have a quick snack from Nathan's today, we both have never been so we're quite exited after reading the menu online. We were not disappointed! We both had cheese and bacon loaded fries which looked delicious, the price was a little different online than in the restaurant but not by loads. We both agreed that they were too salty and couldn't work out if that was the chips or bacon that was salty but they were still good. Maybe a bit more cheese sauce would be great as when you get to the bottom or round the sides they seem to be very plain, but apart from that they were amazing. We also ordered some onion rings to share which came with a free sauce. We both can't stand spicy food unfortunately and when eating the onion rings they seemed to be very spicy. Maybe not for us but for people that love spicy food, they might be for you. overall great service and 4/5 food. Definitely would be back thank you!

Ordered online with a given collection time. Arrived on time and was made to wait which is fine if busy and food is cooked to order. Got home, 5 minutes away (max) and the order was wrong (one of the burgers was incorrect) however everything was stone cold and clearly had been cooked ages ago as the burgers were all dry and shrivelled up. Shame as I used to like their food. Tried contacting manager in case there was a reasonable excuse but no reply.

Food was great can't complain, service was shocking!!! Not a pleasant experience as all, almost cancelled my order when I arrived! Manager was clueless and couldn't make a decision to save an Icecream before it melted! Shame. Will try again in the future and hope they get their act together!

We finally got round to visiting Nathan’s after meaning to come for months. Not wanting to waste the opportunity we ordered loads… Footlong chilli dog (very good) , Philly cheese steak (excellent), Manhattan burger (also excellent), 8 wings (decent), onion rings( large and tasty) cheese and jalapeño chips (lovely), cheese and bacon topped chips (great) Service was very friendly, far better than any other fast food joint. Despite the ridiculous amount of food, the bill was reasonable. Really good visit- will return.

Don’t order from here just done a £50 order and didn’t get half of what I ordered have been trying to contact the restaurant for over half an hour and it’s just ringing out. disgusting customer service and I will be taking it as fare as I can…
