Went in just after 10pm to be told by the staff that the bar was closed. When asked why, the girl behind the bar told me their winter closing hours were at 10pm... in May? I got the opinion it was so they could go home early. Day staff were good though when it came to food.

The Botanist on top of Liverpool One was my first experience of a Botanist restaurant. It was well worth a visit, lovely service and great food. To top it all of we took our coffee outside and enjoyed the sun. It was also the perfect starting point for a wee walk to anfield.

Another great night out, love this place. No matter when I go, the steak is always top quality and cooked to perfection. Yes, it's a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. I've been lots of times as it's almost my local, but I've never been disappointed. This time we had the pleasure of Jessie serving us, very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble.

Have been three or four times for a drink while our EV charges for an hour at the IONITY chargers just opposite. Each time, staff have been pretty unwelcoming (I get the impression they are uninterested if you don’t want to eat there, even though there are always loads of free tables). I won’t go back during future charges. As for the requirement to register your number plate if you are parking in the car park, we have always noticed the signboard warning customers to do so in front of the door, so I am surprised the last reviewer didn’t spot it. However, given that the restaurant is in the middle of nowhere (no pedestrian access to anything else, really, apart perhaps from the Travelodge next door, which probably has its own parking), it seems both mean and tight to enforce fines. All in all, a place with bad vibes.

First time I’ve been to a tgi Fridays and it will be my last to this one at least. Upon sitting down a male staff member’s attitude was quite rude as I was sat in an out of bounds area even though it wasn’t closed off. I was wanting to try a new cocktail they had on so I ordered it only to be given a half liquid half foam drink! Basically paid for a tiny cocktail. I still can’t believe the bartender made this and still thought it was ok to send out. On the picture promoted it showed there should be little foam at the top. I drank up what little drink I had quickly and left disappointed as I was looking forward to trying here. I even apologised to my partner for wanting to go there as I wouldn’t think it was that bad.

Tried to dine here yesterday, arrived at 8pm on a Monday evening and the restaurant was nearly completely empty. Asked for a table for 3 but was told that they didn’t have anything because there was a “big rush in” coming soon and the kitchen closes at 9….which makes no sense at all! I left and I checked online afterwards and it said there was plenty of table availability! I usually go to the Chigwell branch but decided to come to this branch to change things up, but definitely not coming here again.

2025. Food was still nice, but on a few occasions now, the bill has been in error, with additional items added. This is unacceptable. I am sure many people will just pay and assume that it is accurate, but after the first time we noticed it was wrong, we check. Drinks have been added to the bill that we bought and paid for before we were seated. I think it could be a genuine mistake, and these things happen, but it needs to be addressed. Quick note, chimichurri steak wrap was pretty chewy, greasy and tasteless. I know chimichurri has oil, but dripping out whilst adding no flavour isn't nice 2024. Cracking Sunday dinner 2019. the staff were better at attending you, the food was ok, nothing overly special, but overcharged on the receipt. corrected immediately but shouldn't have happened. whilst waiting, i was told to always check my bill as they often add drinks that you have not had by another customer. this may be a genuine error in the bar/waiting staff but seems off that i was warned as it happened to me. 2017 Very poor. An hour in and still no food. Staff waltz around but don't seem to actually do anything.
