Tremendous evening at Miller and Carter Fleet for my wife's birthday. Food was amazing, service likewise. Great sized portions and beautifully cooked steak, prawns, scallops and cauliflower wings. Thanks especially to Beth, Cody, Miro and Tom who made it so special. Would highly recommend and will be back!

I came in for dinner with my family and had a really lovely time. Our server abbie was really nice and the food was delicious.

Service was fine and Theresa was really nice and friendly. But food portions were very small. Serving time after order was very long and taste was just OK. It is an acceptable place to dine but prices are too high.

Really good food, service was a little slow, but it was very busy on a Saturday evening.

I have now been to the Fleet M&C twice. And I can only say I'm disappointed. There is an air about the M&C brand that exudes class and special occasion. I mean after all they have a dress code! The prices reflect that experience and I am happy to pay for that. After having an excellent experience at the Bagshot branch previously, I was all for giving our more local Fleet branch a go for another birthday treat. And I was hugely disappointed. The service was either a rush or non existant. I will say it was busy but on a Thursday evening this was not what we expected. Juniors running riot, People wearing tracksuits (why have a dress code as standard if you won't enforce it) and the heating being questionable. The service was poor and delays to food. Which is fine when busy I will accept that. We had a voucher to use and there was a drama regarding the payment using the voucher. I'm one for second chances but after our first visit being not of the standard I expected, I thought maybe it was a one off we shall try again. Fast forward to yesterday evening. A group of 7 of us including a junior, to again celebrate another birthday. Saturday evenings are expected to be busy so we expected a wait. Ordered our drinks and mains at the same time to make it easier for the waiting staff. The drinks came except one. Managed to corner our waiter and asked about said drink oh sorry I don't think it was on your ticket. (After asking what was on draught) This was rectified, out junior was getting restless with the wait and so we asked if there was any crayons or pencils we could use. Responded with I dont know I'll go have a look and come back to you. 15 Minutes and nothing so asked another lovely waitress and she was back in a minute flat with some crayons and a big takeaway bag to draw on. (Apologies, I missed your name but thank you!) Wait another 10 minutes and the original waiter comes back and says oh no we don't have any colours to which we replied it's ok your colleague found some for us. Our mains then arrive, well our steaks arrived which was thought a little odd as normally the salad wedges arrive first. Nothing is said so no matter we shall wait. 5 minutes and cooling steaks still nothing. Corner a waiter - "excuse us, we are waiting on the rest of our main course?" I'll go see. Another few minutes and nothing - now nearly 10 minutes have passed and we have been served and before our mains go cold and our steaks are ruined we tuck in. A manager then strolls over and said ah you're waiting on your salad wedges we've run out of lettuce so they won't be coming. But can get you a round of drinks on the house when you wish or we shall sort something. Fast forward to another very delayed beer arrival, this one had been forgotten about. Along with another table being delivered salad bowels with their mains (not just our heads turned at this, we asked another server and turned out they had requested baby gem as an alternative. - we were not offered. Finish our mains and head for dessert. Luckily these went without any further drama and we were offered £30.00 reduction of the bill by the manager. My main point is that the service was poor on both visits, staff seem to be over stretched and not able to provide the level of service that I would expect from a company such as Miller and Carter. We will be returning to Bagshot where the experience of the visit has always been worth the price.

Lovely food and overall great dining experience. Was served by Harry on the bar, who provided the best service. We need more bartenders like him out there!

I went for a meal with my boyfriend the other day and the service was so welcoming and friendly. There was a guy in particular called Harry who made amazing cocktails and was very welcoming and friendly as it was our first time there, he answered all of our questions. We would be coming back for sure

Came with friends for a birthday celebration and had an amazing time. The food was so good, and when our desserts came out the servers sang my friend happy birthday.

On a mission to write the last of my thesis, I had to move from Starbucks and find somewhere else to study. The expirence at Miller and Carter has blown me away ! Coming through the door with only a coffee order and requirement for power 🔋 I felt I may be turned away. The exact opposite is what happened. The staff welcomed me in, prepared me the nicest coffee of my day, and placed me by the fire 🔥 so I could enjoy the heat as I studied. The service was so good, I'm going to bring my girlfriend for a steak dinner here !! A special thanks to Harry at the bar and Carl who welcomed me.

Our server Abbie was brilliant, and the food and drink was lovely.

Came with my wife and four children. Everyone's food came out quickly and was lovely, and our server Abbie was great.

Food is always wonderful but our sharing steak was a little disappointing this time, there was a lot of fat and gristle, which took away from our experience, having said that the staff and atmosphere is always great and we would definitely recommend to our friends & family and we will return

Eaten here many times, quality is always top drawer. It’s not cheap, but then where is these days. Very much looked after by the staff. If you want steak, then I highly recommend.

Visited on New Year’s Day , had a fantastic meal , our server Lisa was very friendly and could not do enough for us , she made sure, everything was ok with our food , I had the fish which I would recommend, cooked to perfection, We will definitely return, food and service were 10/10

I recently visited this Miller and Carter and was pleasantly impressed with the service and overall experience I had. And it was all down to one bartender by the name of Harry. Not only was he so welcoming and lovely to chat to but served me the best espresso martini I've ever had. Would visit again purely just to see him!

Turned up without a booking and the venue wasnt overly busy and was told the venue was fully booked and there was a 2 hour wait for a table However was instantly able to book online at that moment and have a table , however due to the whole experience we decided to go elsewhere.

I came in for a meal on christmas day- It was brilliant! I especially loved the starters (chicken liver parfait and cheesy garlic bread)! Excellent service, couldn’t recommend more!

Greeted by Jim at front desk who made a rude comment about my booking, which set the tone of negatively. Service wasn’t great, started plates weren't cleared before our mains arrived, never offered any more drinks from first order. Asked for dessert menus and then took forever to come back. Restaurant wasn’t busy at this point as was an earlier booking. Food was lovely.

Delicious food and great service. I went with my other half and my mum yesterday. The food was delicious ( our starters: halloumi, garlicbread, calamari and chipotle chicken.) Our mains were fillet steak and lobster tail that was cooked wonderfully and the beef dripping was amazing. And the burger was amazing aswell. I had a cocktail that was delicious as well. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was very Christmasy and welcoming. I'll definitely come back again.

Popped in for a drink as staying in the hotel next door. Hardly any tables just for drinks, all set up for eating. Drinks display was poor, the gins were all hidden so you couldnt see what there was. No ginger ale mixer and no real beers. Decor seemed a bit dated and uninviting. Just got settled with our drinks to be told they were shutting at 10.30pm when the website said 11pm so no chance of a 2nd drink without rushing. Their loss, had own drinks in my room!

We went here for my birthday a few days before Christmas, so booking is essential. The service was excellent and timely. The food was delicious and quickly served.

Lovely food but terrible service - aware its Boxing Day but it wasnt that busy when we arrived - but 2 hours for a 2 course meal (one of those was just garlic bread) hubbys chips didnt arrive with main meal And after 15 mins gave up trying order dessert and asked for the bill instead!

We were there for Christmas Day dinner. We stood around for ages before anyone even acknowledged us. So many staff, no one would look our way as we stood by the entrance desk. Food was disappointing at so many levels. We had the Turkey main course, it was tired, tasteless and depressing. We love your steaks, but your Christmas dinner was so bad... we'd have been better off going to Toby Carvery.

I had been recommended m&k for a long time through a friend... finally visited their farnborough restaurant and I auvergne to say... JIM!!!!! You have made my day! Let me say, if you want to be treated to the best tasting steak, served by someone as attentive and knowledgeable as our JIM,... get to farnborough Miller&Carter... No joke, I eat a lot of steak.. and I meet a lot of top people... Let it be JIM that serves you yours... he's a top bloke. Appreciated JIM etc al!!

Fantastic lunch and service was brilliant Scott was fantastic with a lovely sense of humour, made us feel perfectly at home.

Just had the most wonderful meal festive turkey dinner was absolutely delicious vegetables cooked perfectly meat was so tasty we also had the 50 day aged Rib eye steak that was absolutely perfect lovely waiter to serve us too

We have been to Miller & Carter in Bagshot many times but thought we would try the Fleet branch to celebrate a family birthday. We regret having made that decision. The service was very slow considering we arrived at 5pm and there was only one other family seated. We ordered medium steaks and the first attempt came out well done and the second rare. The chips were so overcooked they were like crisps! The béarnaise sauce had a layer of fat floating on top and was very lumpy. Unfortunately, we did not have time to wait for a third attempt so ended up sending the meals back. Very disappointed as this was a birthday meal and considering you call yourself a ‘steakhouse’ your chef doesn’t have a clue how to cook a steak!

A lovely meal in a relaxed atmosphere. Liam was our server, and was very attentive and is a very pleasant young man. The food was delicious...as usual! We booked the meal as a birthday treat for our daughter, but didn't mention this in our booking. However, Liam heard our birthday wishes, and at the end of the meal presented our daughter with a little chocolate and wafer treat. Such a lovely gesture! We will definitely return!

Very slow service tonight, not as good as usual. Also some food was good and other parts disappointing and not up to the normal standard. Wine not served professionally.

Had the Sunday sharer. Meat was lovely and cooked to perfection. Sides didn’t look a lot but was actually more than enough. Disappointed they did not have mint sauce to accompany the lamb. Our waiter Liam was very friendly & attentive.

We’ve must have been at least half a dozen times over the last few years and the last visit was really disappointing. 1 hour 20 min wait for our mains. No apology or explanation. Two of our steaks were ordered to be medium rare but came medium to well done. Given the wait we didn’t send them back. Staff both in terms of the waiting staff and kitchen staff are incredibly young and the service was chaotic. For the price point it will be hard to justify the cost. No one minds paying more for good service and correctly cooked food. When it’s neither it becomes unsustainable.

Hectic and could not cope with all the bookings. An hour and half to get our mains, asked for medium rare steak but was medium/ well done. Expensive but not worth it.

Food was nice, not knowing I had to enter my registration number on arrival a it was my first time and then getting a parking fine through the post want so good, luckily managed to phone up and speak to someone who cancelled the fine, should be made clearer on arrival though with adequate signage as you walk in

We've been here a few times for important celebrations as we live in fleet. Despite the rather high prices we've always had a good time, yet yesterday; the service was slow, our steaks were overcooked and chewy like they'd been under the hotlamps for ages. Everything else was great but at £40 a steak this simply isn't good enough. Not sure we'll be back. Yes I know one mistake try and try again etc, give you a chance... But it's £40 a steak... Theres no opportunity for training or mistakes at this price!
