First time at Miller and Carter. Beautiful place. lovely decor. Food was excellent. Hot and tasty. Good sized portions.

The staff, from the welcoming personnel to the chef, were all incredibly kind and professional.

Really enjoyed our experience at Miller and Carter fleet last night. We were hosted by Theresa who was amazing from the moment we were seated and give us some great tips on the menu as we were unsure what to pick. She was attentive and always checked on us to make sure everything was ok. The food was superb! Presentation was excellent and the steak was cooked to perfection. The restaurant is very modern with a lovely atmosphere. I highly recommend as we had a thoroughly enjoyable Friday night.

The meal was wonderful, big big thank you to Theresa. She made our experience that much better.

Saw advert for Sunday sharing platter and had to try it we wasn’t disappointed it was excellent and very plentiful food quality superb We couldn’t finish it all We will be returning

Went with my son Friday 11th around 6, hadn’t booked a table but was no issues & was seated immediately. Service was absolutely spot on, nothing to fault. Our waitress Theresa was lovely.. food was amazing

arrived at 7pm got drink and starters relatively quickly then waited 55 minute after out starters for our mains. after requesting them. never got offered any drink except once when dishes were collected from starters. however did get a free meal after complaining to the manager.

Vastly overpriced for the quality and quantity of food served. Wont be going again.

We have been here a number of times and was our go to place for steak, but this last visit was a disappointment. I think there was not enough staff because the service was very slow and it affected the food quality. There was no calamari or ribs available as the menu is changing ??? The steaks were very tough, lamb rump dried out, fries all clumped together and hard and the onion loaf was hard as a rock. I think all the food lay on the pass under the lights for too long before being brought to the table. We will give them a miss for a while before trying again.

Just been, after a long week away this was a welcome change of pace. I had the last pork tomahawk and it was sublime. Food always great. A little pretentious usually but the waiter was a little cockney and so down to earth. Made us feel welcome, and what more do you want. Overpriced usually unless , like us , you have the lunchtime menu. 5*

Normally, we visit the Basingstoke location as it is convenient. They were fully booked for this birthday celebration so, off to Fleet. Pretty good. Food of the usual standard and steaks cooked as requested with no "butterflying". The only complaint was from my daughter, she thought her chips tasted weird. Waiter was friendly and the experience positive. We will return.

We were told that they would be slightly understaffed, however Tom was incredible. He was very friendly and all of our food was served so efficiently. We didn’t notice if they were understaffed at all. Couldn’t have been happier with the service or the food

Great food and helpful staff, great experience

Six of us for dinner starters all good. Service was quick. Mains all out OK. I ordered surf n turf but only go the turf untill I got the attention of the staff.... oh they forgot that part? How? It's on the Menu as SnT anyway by time steak was finished the brought the lobster. If I had been fishing I would have thrown back something of that size.

I have been going to this restaurant once or twice a year for special occasions - I would go more often if it wasn't so expensive. The food is usually excellent, as is the setting and ambience. The latest visit was disappointing - prices appear to be increasing and portion sizes decreasing, so it is no longer value for money - no doubt due to Covid / inflation / staff costs / energy costs etc etc. An example - a side order for an 'Onion Loaf' which would be more accurately described as a 'small onion slice'. c£3 for 1 slice, or 3 slices for £10. You used to get a proper 'onion loaf' which several diners would struggle to eat. You would need around 9 of the current slices as a comparison, but not at £30! It's a shame that Tony Romas doesn't come back to the UK, as that chain is the benchmark for this type of restaurant.

The whole process from start to finish was straight forward to setup and a fantastic experience. I did some research for steakhouses in the area and this place was the standout option. Then I booked online with a special request to ask if they could grab some flowers for the table for my fiance as it was her birthday meal. They called me ahead of time to confirm the special request and to my surprise insisted on not charging us for this, customer service is easily the best that we've experienced and very much appreciated! All of the staff were made aware of this and were congratulating us on her birthday and upcoming wedding which was a lovely touch. Additionally some crystal decorations were added onto the table which looked great. The food itself was delicious and I would highly recommend anyone to try the steaks here as I'm struggling to think of a contender for a better steak I've had. Drinks wise there was a selection that was recommended to go with steaks specifically - anytime I've seen this it didn't feel right but I had an amber doom bar which actually complimented the meat perfectly. Selections for food were incredible and I think we have to go back to try out some others in the future. Not even a downside but the only drawback I could try to think of was late into the evening I noticed the tables were fully booked and it was tough on the servers to get round to everyone but their efforts were incredible and they didn't let things get to them - honestly amazing job on a tough evening!

We were staying in the nearby Travelodge as a stopover on our way to Gatwick and decided to visit Miller and Carter for lunch. I'm glad we did as it was the perfect way to start our holiday. The restaurant was fairly quiet when we arrived and we were seated quickly. The restaurant looked great; clean, modern and our son particularly liked the fact he could see the kitchen as they were preparing food. The service from everyone was fantastic from start to finish. We were served quickly and politely, and the person who served us had fun chatting to our son and winding him up that they'd run out of chocolate brownies. The food was equally as food. The kids meal was huge, and very good while our meals were also incredible. The steakhouse dirty burger was quite probably the best burger I've ever had and my wife's steak was cooked perfectly and very good. The breads we had as a starter were also really good, as were the desserts. It is a little bit more expensive than the sort of place we'd usually go as a family for lunch but as a special trip to start our holiday, Miller and Carter was great. and actually for the quality of food and service, it was very reasonably priced. Unfortunately this location is a bit of a trip to go back specifically but we will certainly be trying a branch near us soon and if we are back in the area again, we will definitely be dropping in.

First time eating at Miller and Carter, food was good along with the service, really happy and would come back.

Went here for dinner with my wife. I just couldn't fault this restaurant. The service was great and the food was delicious. I had the scallops to start, followed by the 8oz ribeye steak, which was cooked to perfection. My wife had the bread board to start, followed by the 8oz sirloin steak. There is plenty of free parking. You'll need to register your car in the restaurant. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We were here to have a family birthday dinner a group of 9 people. Adults, children and a baby. Our waiter was amazing and kept the kiddies entertained.

The whole experience was great, good food and a variety of drinks. No 12ozs Sirloin on a Friday but my son who's birthday it was switched to a Rib Eye

We have been visiting Miller & Carter for a number of years now and the quality of the food is great. The only time that I have been disappointed was their Christmas Dinner. I didn't feel like it offered much value for money. The staff are very friendly but service can be slow on occasion.

We received a warm and friendly welcome as soon as we walked in. The manager checked if we had registered our car before taking us to our table. Lee was our waiter, and he was brilliant. Just as he was inputting the wine order we changed our mind and then again with the starter. Sorry Lee, you got stuck with the two indecisive ladies! Booked a table for 14 colleagues in from US and Europe for Farnborough Air Show. Special thanks to Scott and the bar manager for the great service, humour and attention. Food was great. 14 perfectly cooked steaks all brought out at the same time. They even ordered taxi’s and chased them down for us. We would definitely visit again next time we are in town for the air show. Well done M&C Fleet for making this a fantastic night. Tried to put the exact above review on Tripadvisor but they rejected it and said it breached their guidelines.

Went for my Wife's birthday with family. Great food as always well done chefs. Waiter Lee was great, funny and great with all the chat. When asked if could creat a birthday dessert they did not disappoint.

We visited for our nephews’ 16th birthday as a table of 12. Food was all served accurately and promptly and everyone had a great time. Nothing was too much trouble and all staff were really friendly and accommodating. Great night out!

I'm a regular customer of Miller& Carter and visited them many times in different branches. After a long difficult week, I went with my husband to treat ourselves there. The service was so bad, we asked for a steak and burger, and few sides. The stake arrived good, but they brought the wrong burger, after lots of apologies they said "We are preparing a new burger as fast as we can". But we end up waiting for 2 HOURS and a half with no burger or sides. So many apologies for being late, but I ended up sharing one stake with my husband and waiting for the burger and the sides that didn't come. It's a shame on them. I don't understand how long it takes to prepare a burger.

We ordered starters but the mains took a little while to come out, which wasn't a problem for us but the gents were so apologetic and kind. Probably the best steak restaurant in Farnborough

Theresa served me and my other half at the Fleet Miller and Carter and she was so lovely and attentive. Checking we were happy with everything, giving us new cultery and she was just generally very kind.

This was our first visit to a Miller & Carter and I have to say we were very impressed. Greeted with a warm welcome. Seated straight away, tended by a friendly waitress food came out promptly and was excellent. Fantastic evening with great food and service. Big thank you to THERESA our waitress who explained menu and was friendly and helpful throughout.

Sirloin steak had so much gristle it wasn't enjoyable at all, we told our server who told the kitchen and that was it!

A good restaurant,good food and service but strewth it was hot inside , we asked for air conditioning to be put on which it was just as we left ,good but not as good as Bagshot restaurant

I thought the prices were a bit high for what it was, the steak was average at best the fries were cold and the "wedge of lettuce" I thought was a wind-up at first. The service was fairly good and the waiting staff pleasant and efficient. I wouldn't rush to come back based on my recent visit.
