Miller & Carter Steakhouse in Hart

I ate here with family to celebrate a birthday. Service was excellent and very efficient. The food was great, and all our steaks were cooked really well and how we ordered. A very enjoyable meal. We would definitely eat here again.

Restaurant could be cleaner, ladies toilet didn’t flush and staff required a knife to access the disabled/baby changing toilet door and once in you are unable to lock the door. Service was initially attentive but quickly wavered. Salad for the steak arrived way before the meals. Meals arrived about an hour after we had arrived. Kids pasta meal was missing meatballs and the massive plate it was served on was too hot to be placed in front of a child. Vegan Burger looked pathetic for the money. My Ribeye steak tasted good but was really chewy, salad wedge was just a couple of salad leaves not a wedge as expected. Didn’t stay for desert. Overall very disappointed. A restaurant at that price point I would expect much better.

Had high expectations but sadly we did leave a little disappointed. Wine glasses on table were dirty, 1 still had lipstick on. Crumbs on floor,not just a few! Really needed a quick hoover. Waited over 15 minutes for our drinks to arrive but the cocktails were delicious. Food arrived quickly, it was nice but didn't blow us away. For the price we did expect a little more wow factor but it was enjoyable. Weren't offered any further drinks once we received our first. Took a while to get waitress attention to get bill and then again to actually pay. Overall evening was OK but we wouldn't return

One of our favourite places to eat, always lovely servers with good timings on service. Regularly go for the ‘butchers block’ which is simply delicious. We absolutely love this place and often come away so full 😂

This was my first time at any Miller & Carter. I really don’t see what the hype is about to be honest and the prices being charged would leave you to believe that it is a high end restaurant. There are some things that are great. The greeting at the door and being seated was very good and the steaks were good too. However, the rest of the food was pretty average - for example, lukewarm soggy chips and a quarter tomato that has literally been pulled from the fridge and put on the plate with no other intervention. Wines by the glass were very limited and while the glass of Zinfandel was good, the price did not match the quality. Also, too many tables and too few waiting staff means a two course dinner took 2.5 hours. I would struggle to be persuaded to come back to be honest.

Our group of six received great service and good steaks as usual for the Miller and Carter chain of restaurants. Drink choices were also good and glad to see the Ravenswood red wine remains on the menu.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere, attentive friendly staff, and mouth wateringly delicious food - what else could you want!

We’re not chain types so I was a bit anxious about eating here, but as we were staying overnight at the Travelodge next door it seemed a plan! I can honestly say the fillet steak I ate was the best I’ve ever tasted and my wife’s sirloin didn’t disappoint either! The staff were super helpful and they coped with our GF needs really well!
