Beefeater in Redditch

Went in just after 10pm to be told by the staff that the bar was closed. When asked why, the girl behind the bar told me their winter closing hours were at 10pm... in May? I got the opinion it was so they could go home early. Day staff were good though when it came to food.

Lovely meals, especially the lasagne, that was beautiful and the fish and chips were just as good. Our waitress was called Donna and she was lovely and was extremely polite throughout our time here

Wonderful food this Saturday again. The service from Donna was excellent, and the food was delicious. The steak was perfect and I’ll be ordering the prawns again.

Perfect for the price, 1 adult and get 2 free kids places which makes it cheaper than eating at home. Buffet style the food is always fresh. Try going earlier as it does get very busy.

Jen was our waitress and she was amazing, so friendly, welcoming and just absolutely lovely! She's a credit to the beefeater

I can honestly say the food at Beefeater always hits differently. This week we had the beef lasagna, with cheddar cheesy fries and Garlic bread and it was delicious so scrumptious! My husband had the pork ribs and loved it too! Our toddler doesn’t like to eat but always ends up finishing all her dinner when we got to beefeater.

I booked a table for ten for a family birthday. We were all pleasantly surprised to find that the menu had been updated and a lot of new options were available. I chose Chicken Goujons with the Mango, Peach and Habanero sauce for starter, Sirloin Steak (medium-well) with a Truffle and Porcini Butter, Mashed Roast Potatoes, Roast Flat Mushrooms with a Truffle and Porcini Butter and Onion Rings main, Easter Bunny KitKat Sundae dessert and finishing with a Latté coffee. My whole meal was utterly delicious with a perfectly cooked steak. Everyone agreed it was one of the best meals we've ever had. Our waitress; Skye, was very attentive, very happy to help, very informative about the new options and generally made it very easy to order our meal. Skye and Lilly were quick to bring our drinks and food and both received a generous tip. The manager; Monika, was very grateful for the positive feedback on the menu and meal and promised to thank the kitchen staff and chefs on our behalf. I've signed up to the new loyalty scheme and I'm looking forward to my next visit to Beefeater when I can use my loyalty points and discounts.

Cara was our server and she was an absolute star! Friendly, fun and attentive she made us feel very welcome. Food was also really good!

Me and my friend went in for just a quick lunch. We was sat by Monika who was nothing but wonderful with nothing but a smiley face. When we was sat mark came and took our drinks order straight away we went for pornstars which was so nice. Then our server Lisa was outstanding asked loads of questions making sure she got exactly what we wanted. Food came within 15 minutes I had a mixed grill cooked to perfection and my friend had the new chicken screwer which she said was also excellent. Will definitely be returning 🩷

We always used to say that Beefeater was the best of the restaurant chains, and used to visit quite frequently, but no more. The new menu was disappointing. They have reduced the choices and changed many of the favourites, including the steak sauces. Our granddaughter had extra prawns with her steak and they were tasteless and so chewy as to make them practically inedible. The dessert menu now is half of what it was, with very little choice. I usually have an ice cream sundae but there were only two to choose from, neither of which I would eat. We had to send back starters and my main meal as they were not as ordered. Such a let down and such a pity. Surely customer satisfaction and loyalty is worth more than saving a few pounds with a reduced menu and quality?

Went to Beefeater for breakfast this morning, there was lots of choice, cereals, friut, pastries and of course cooked breakfast, toast, etc....all items well topped up, 😋 staff very helpful too.

Used to visit Redditch Beefeater regularly,before relocating to Norfolk. Paid a visit to see our son,this week,and booked Beefeater for meal. So disappointed. Quality poor and 'salad' was a laugh. Not sure what happened to promised sauce. Waitress lovely but would avoid,in future. One meal was free,owing to birthday which was only salvation. Such a shame!

The service once seated by the waitress saved the experience for us. We booked a table and once arrived we were ignored. There was a couple in front of us that even turned around and said, maybe we will get acknowledged soon! The hostess ignored us, she had seen us waiting but chose not to speak to even say, I will be with you in a minute. We would have been ok with that. No problem but no acknowledgement was poor. The meal was saved by our waitress Jen who was amazing. She kept bringing refill drinks over, checking we were ok. This service was exceptional. The food was ok. Nothing particularly bad or wrong but ok. I had the ribeye steak which looked like it had been driven over by a train but tasted ok. The others in our group were generally happy but the pricing doesn't match the quality of food and is overpriced for what you get. Again, the experience was saved by Jen our waitress as on entry we were very frustrated by the lack of acknowledgement.

We had a lovely meal and we were served by Cara ,she was very attentive and efficient and she is always happy ,nothing is too much trouble and she is always polite and remembers us each time we go.

Great for a late lunch or early dinner. Donna was amazing. It’s my new favourite and before 5pm menu in the week is amazing value.

Food was great and great service from Donna as usual, good place to grab a quick lunch was served quickly and she was very attentive.

Work away a lot of the year and eat here everyday for breakfast and tea. Always spot on. Staff are always friendly and go out of their way to make it an enjoyable visit. If I lived locally would come more often, has great food and a beer garden.

Donna greeted us with a smile as usual. Very attentive, and kind. We always go when it’s not so busy so always glad to see she’s working when we go.

Excellent friendly warm welcoming atmosphere and service. Delicious food. Highly recommend.

Hi. I recommend Redditch Beefeater as the best restaurant and breakfast in UK. We usually do breakfast with the family, and this is amazing. You can eat everything or more from the full English breakfast to cirials, etc. Other Good point: the kids eat free. We also love the friendly, familiar atmosphere and the helpful staff, too. They always work hard for us. It is also the best choice if you want to hang out with your friends. Thank you for the nice memories Redditch Beefeater ❤️

Amazing service and food! We booked for my daughters 9th Birthday, 12 of us ate and thoroughly enjoyed the food, the staff were amazing too, very patient and friendly with 10 very loud kids, even sang happy birthday, Will definitely be back 👌

Had a wonderful mother's day meal here. Despite being very busy, the food and drink was very yummy, quality food, great size portions. Service was very quick, wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend visiting.

I just do not believe this place. I visited here 12 months back for breakfast with 6 family members. They were short on bacon and black pudding and when I asked why the trays were empty? The reply was: 'We have run out of both!' Sept 8th 2024. We booked online for Sunday lunch, table for 2 at 3:00 pm. We received the confirmation for Sunday lunch - all booked! We arrived at 2:50 pm, were seated and given menus. Nowhere on the menu did it mention their choice of Sunday lunch. When I asked the server what the choice was, she went over to the manager, then came back and said: 'we're not serving Sunday lunch now. 'So why did you take the booking for Sunday lunch and then confirm it to me? Can you get the manager please, because I can see you are still, in fact, serving Sunday lunch.' Manager comes to the table, we go through the problem and he says: 'We have all the veg and potatoes but we have run out of all meats! But, we can offer you a chicken off our normal menu and put it with some veg or you can have beef?' You just said no meats? 'Well, yeah, technically it would not be beef, but a steak with yorkshire pudding and a chicken off the normal menu - together with veg.' A sort of, half thrown together meal you mean?' When I mentioned the time before about the bacon and black pudding, he said: 'No, could not happen, we always have bacon and black pudding.' I then assured him it did happen a there were 6 other people there in our party and that is exactly why we now go to Becketts farm and not here for breakfast! This place needs to get its act together and provide the service and food it advertises. We will not be returning. "Sirloin steak with Yorkshire pudding?" All this from a manager, are you kidding me? March 18th @ 3:30 pm Decided to give it one more try. Steak was so undercooked it was mooing, had to go back and be cooked further. Can you believe they did not have any PEPPERCORN sauce? They'd run out. There's a Sainsburys 50 mtrs from this place! The place is a joke and so poorly run! I've actually written to the head office.

Had a nice meal with 40% off as well can't fault this place.

Firstly I'd like to say Cara was lovely and v attentive. However the 8oz sirloin steak was one of the worst I have ever been served. At £16.99 it should have been a lot better. The 2 meagre slices of mushroom and half a tomato were by far the best things on the plate. And they didn't have French mustard!! What??

Staff were talking to each other and ignoring customers. Wasn't explained how breakfast worked. The man was more interested in telling us that we need to be quick at breakfast gets cleared away in 30 mins. We sat waiting for someone to take our order to be told my the table next to us its a buffet. Stood waiting to pay the bill whilst 2 staff chatted (the only staff working) the chef was more helpful than them. Terrible customer service more training needed as staff are the forefront of any customer facing business 😒

We went to Beefeater Redditch for a good friend’s birthday. Cara was so lovely as she made sure that we had everything we needed even down to the lighter for the candles. Had a good evening celebrating there because of her. Cara, kudos to you!

On approach, a nice looking venue, plenty of free and secure parking. Inside is well laid out with plenty of tables abd seating for solo diner to large groups. The staff were amazingly attentive, polite and helpful, though also understaffed from observation. We had a 40% off mains voucher and chose the Surf & Turf Combo and Mixed Grill. PATHETIC AND DISSAPOINTED. Portion control at its finest. The steak was layered with 2 prawns 🤣🤣, yes 2 and. This was the worst plate of foid I have had for a while. Ypu need the 49% off to receive value for money. At £18 this is not worth it. Go Wetherspoons instead. Will I go back - NO. Will I recommend - NO. Will I share will my work colleagues - NO. Is the voucher worth the vusit - NO. No value here. I'd rather go maccies.

Such a shame, popped in with my pregnant partner and 2 Yr old child after swimming for breakfast at 10:20, waited to be seated although the place was over half empty. To be told that they can't accept any walk ins because they're all reserved for hotel guests. Breakfast finished in 40 minutes and the manager couldn't squeeze us in and was shocked we hadn't booked. This kind of poor managing is the end to good reputation. Sadly won't be back.

It was a very busy place Service was good Food wasn’t very hot on serving Waitress Cara was excellent- gave my son a cake for his birthday and sang , also a small box of chicks and a card . She was very chatty and always smiling 😊 No 2 for £20 menses out on the tables - was told initially by drinks waitress that they weren’t available on a Saturday! 😡

Stayed here for the night and First time at a premier Inn, I was very surprised how nice it was and how friendly the staff was and the breakfast was good aswell

Been staying here all week and the breakfast and dinner are spot on and can’t vault it as I like crispy bacon and they don’t it for me and the waitress Charlie was very polite and friendly. Next time I’m working in the area I will be staying here again

Was very dissapointed went for a valentines meal we picked something off the main menue I picked gammon and egg the gammon was very poor the pineappple was subbish the chips were over cooked.wont rush Togo again.

We came to Beefeater for dinner on Valentines Day. Our waiter was Cara, she was nice and good. The food was great, especially the dessert. The only thing bad was the waiting time. Overall, I would give this 4 stars and would come again.

This is what all Beefeater restaurants should be like! Wonderful attentive staff, special mention for Corinne our fabulous professional waitress. The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. Plus, the prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Highly recommend!

It was a last minute idea - lets eat out for lunch. It only took moments to reserve a table at the time we wanted and off we went. We were served by Donna who was excellent. The food was freshly cooked and served quickly. It tasted very good. It hit the spot. Will be back again soon.

Very much a corporate events place. Food wasn't great, catering for the masses. Too much food left under the heat lamps, grey scrambled eggs, fried eggs were like plastic. Should have been a good alternative to the Harvester (which locally is awful) but it turned out to be just as poor.

Usual problems with this place on Sunday - never any meats for lunch other than beef, also service very slow(although our waitress did her best to keep things moving).

Staff were spot on through the day. I sat with the laptop before I could book in the prem inn. But the star of the show was Corine. Made my meal a very pleasant experience, loved our little intro and chat. Food was bob on well done chef.

Ordered surf and turf combo worst calamari I’ve ever had and very little of it more like batter bits from chippy and two pathetic prawns obviously a fish shortage going on in there will never be going back

Their "lunch for £8.99" isn't the biggest. And their veggie burger is not great. It was like a veggie burger from 10+ years ago. Things have moved on and I expect more.

In Redditch for a training course, popped in for food and was served by Corinne. Couldn't fault the service with Corinne taking great care of us and a great asset to the place!

Good value and quality meal, Corinne was a wonderful host and looked after us very well whilst we were away on a training course in Redditch!

Took time to have breakfast and dinner here today. Great accompaniment to staying at the Premier Inn. Corinne made the service excellent this evening👌🏻 Excellent breakfast offer and price. Nice dinner menu.

Beefeater North Redditch - 3 of us went in on 'spur of the moment' so hadn't booked. We were greeted by the manager who happily got us a table sorted and lead the way. Waitress, Karen, soon came over with a warm welcome and friendly smile. Drinks came swiftly before Karen took our food orders, giving helpful advice as and when then quickly brought over ample amounts of our chosen sauces etc. All 3 of us thoroughly enjoyed our amazing meals with the tastiest, juiciest, best cooked steaks I've had in a VERY long time. Not a great number of desserts but wow.... the biscoff sundae 🥳. The manager (Mark) was very hands on and actually did much more than most managers I've seen. There was ample, conveniently situated, disabled parking bays with the restaurant being pleasantly wheelchair accessible. Every where was clean and tidy and all the staff we saw were friendly but a big thank you to the lovely Karen and huge amount of credit to Mark as both the manager and an individual. Fantastic food, pleasant environment, well run, great staff. My only niggles are that only 1 of the 2 main entrance doors are automatic which makes entering/exciting difficult for wheelchairs, pushchairs, people with mobility issues etc and as a wheelchair user, I had to sit sideways to eat because my chair didn't fit under the table (but to be honest - that's the same virtually everywhere 😢). Highly recommended all round Date of experience: July 17, 2024 Different visit, same ratings for the restaurant, food and service but I don't recommend the profiteroles. They were served with caramelised sugar and a drizzled sauce. In my opinion this made them too sweet and very dry. I'd much rather have ice cream and good ole chocolate sauce. None of the entrance doors were automatic which made entering and exiting difficult

A disappointing visit to the Beefeater. Despite the pub being virtually empty i waited 5 minutes to be served then the bar tender came back behind the bar and loaded plates and cutlery before asking what I would like to drink. Customer comes first?

I normally rave about Beefeater Redditch as the food and previous service is always fantastic. However I am writing this review as I was so disappointed when we came for Breakfast on the 27th December. The staff were unhelpful and rude, especially when I asked for the coffee machine to be fixed by the waitress (she just stood chatting to her colleague afterwards, even though there was a queue of 5 people). Won’t rush back but hopefully it was a 1 off.

The restaurant is really nice, suitable for family's, friends and Dates. Our waitress Donna was lovely and polite when talking to us and never left us waiting for too long. Service across the restaurant looked good too. Have been and would continue to come again

DEC24 Our unit received an evening request for a priority call. It was quiet and we were nearby so the blue lights went on... After parking up and swiftly deploying our team, we quickly triaged the 5 x casualties in location. Sadly for us the timmy Tom's was burned worse than a front row comedy act, the mushroom had been muchlessroomed, steak looked like it was cooked in the Fukushima plant and the tayties had been treated like ripe grapes on the vinyard; obviously there were no esca"pees". We attempted revival but despite copious amounts of mayto chup and some intricate "knife" surgery all attempts were in vain. Oct 24 Heaving like a mosh pit so that is always good sign. Friendly and quick service kinda like end of life care which is always a good sign. (Unless you're being held by terrorists....) Food "looked" nice. Sadly it tasted like a frozen cabbage. Lilly, the waitress, made up for the sad food with a genuine lovely smile and easily the best of the staff 😊

i have been using this Beafeater for the last 5 years and never had a bad meal. i my expirance this is one of the best ( maybe the best) Beafeaters in the estate and i have tried many. i they have had challenges with supplys today but Charlie and Monika are absolute stars and provide an outstanding service tonight. Add Jen and Carla and you have a exceptional team Well done and have a great Christmas

Even though the menu was limited because of supply issues our meal was excellent. We had everything we wanted. The ribeye steak was best I’d had in a long time. Our waitress Jenny was excellent and could not apologise enough because of the menu situation. She had a lovely manner and made our dining experience all the better.

Arrived at restaurant after booking on line for my sons birthday. We were told when we sat at table that there was supplier issue&that a lot of items on menu were not available. No pre warning when booked. Very disappointing 😔 .ruined our whole evening!!

We all went to Redditch Beefeater for a family birthday there was only two staff this is 5:00 in the evening there was loads of stuff missing on the menu the stuff said it was down to the food supplier which to be honest was not our fault I had a burger and chips I'm being honest here there must have been around 20 chips on the plate I'm just a burger no sides to go with it when we was paying the bill they asked if we wanted to leave a tip we've refused they looked at a strange I'm saying it was not their fault but it was no consolation to the food that we eat it look like a children's portion
