Beefeater in Redditch

Was very dissapointed went for a valentines meal we picked something off the main menue I picked gammon and egg the gammon was very poor the pineappple was subbish the chips were over cooked.wont rush Togo again.

Jen was our server, she is THE gold standard, happy, smiley, efficient and fast service, thank you so much and the food was great!

Brilliant experience on a very busy Friday night. Corrine was very attentive and friendly. Food was brilliant, the steaks were cooked to perfection.

Great service, we needed a table last minute on a Sunday lunch time. We had two small kids with us, & nothing was too much trouble. Cara served us & was friendly & efficient! Thank you :)

It was a last minute idea - lets eat out for lunch. It only took moments to reserve a table at the time we wanted and off we went. We were served by Donna who was excellent. The food was freshly cooked and served quickly. It tasted very good. It hit the spot. Will be back again soon.

Usual problems with this place on Sunday - never any meats for lunch other than beef, also service very slow(although our waitress did her best to keep things moving).

Staff were spot on through the day. I sat with the laptop before I could book in the prem inn. But the star of the show was Corine. Made my meal a very pleasant experience, loved our little intro and chat. Food was bob on well done chef.

Ordered surf and turf combo worst calamari I’ve ever had and very little of it more like batter bits from chippy and two pathetic prawns obviously a fish shortage going on in there will never be going back

Their "lunch for £8.99" isn't the biggest. And their veggie burger is not great. It was like a veggie burger from 10+ years ago. Things have moved on and I expect more.

Good value and quality meal, Corinne was a wonderful host and looked after us very well whilst we were away on a training course in Redditch!

In Redditch for a training course, popped in for food and was served by Corinne. Couldn't fault the service with Corinne taking great care of us and a great asset to the place!

Took time to have breakfast and dinner here today. Great accompaniment to staying at the Premier Inn. Corinne made the service excellent this evening👌🏻 Excellent breakfast offer and price. Nice dinner menu.

Quite good my Ribeye steak was much better than my wife’s. That’s why I marked the m down. Otherwise a nice meal

Beefeater North Redditch - 3 of us went in on 'spur of the moment' so hadn't booked. We were greeted by the manager who happily got us a table sorted and lead the way. Waitress, Karen, soon came over with a warm welcome and friendly smile. Drinks came swiftly before Karen took our food orders, giving helpful advice as and when then quickly brought over ample amounts of our chosen sauces etc. All 3 of us thoroughly enjoyed our amazing meals with the tastiest, juiciest, best cooked steaks I've had in a VERY long time. Not a great number of desserts but wow.... the biscoff sundae 🥳. The manager (Mark) was very hands on and actually did much more than most managers I've seen. There was ample, conveniently situated, disabled parking bays with the restaurant being pleasantly wheelchair accessible. Every where was clean and tidy and all the staff we saw were friendly but a big thank you to the lovely Karen and huge amount of credit to Mark as both the manager and an individual. Fantastic food, pleasant environment, well run, great staff. My only niggles are that only 1 of the 2 main entrance doors are automatic which makes entering/exciting difficult for wheelchairs, pushchairs, people with mobility issues etc and as a wheelchair user, I had to sit sideways to eat because my chair didn't fit under the table (but to be honest - that's the same virtually everywhere 😢). Highly recommended all round Date of experience: July 17, 2024 Different visit, same ratings for the restaurant, food and service but I don't recommend the profiteroles. They were served with caramelised sugar and a drizzled sauce. In my opinion this made them too sweet and very dry. I'd much rather have ice cream and good ole chocolate sauce. None of the entrance doors were automatic which made entering and exiting difficult

Food was good, starter was poorly presented, But our waitress Donna was very polite and experienced, as always.

Booked a family birthday celebration here and so glad we did, we was looked after as soon as we walked through the door, they made sure everything went smoothly, can't thank them enough, food was perfect and delicious, thank you so much Beefeater Redditch.

A disappointing visit to the Beefeater. Despite the pub being virtually empty i waited 5 minutes to be served then the bar tender came back behind the bar and loaded plates and cutlery before asking what I would like to drink. Customer comes first?

I normally rave about Beefeater Redditch as the food and previous service is always fantastic. However I am writing this review as I was so disappointed when we came for Breakfast on the 27th December. The staff were unhelpful and rude, especially when I asked for the coffee machine to be fixed by the waitress (she just stood chatting to her colleague afterwards, even though there was a queue of 5 people). Won’t rush back but hopefully it was a 1 off.

The restaurant is really nice, suitable for family's, friends and Dates. Our waitress Donna was lovely and polite when talking to us and never left us waiting for too long. Service across the restaurant looked good too. Have been and would continue to come again

DEC24 Our unit received an evening request for a priority call. It was quiet and we were nearby so the blue lights went on... After parking up and swiftly deploying our team, we quickly triaged the 5 x casualties in location. Sadly for us the timmy Tom's was burned worse than a front row comedy act, the mushroom had been muchlessroomed, steak looked like it was cooked in the Fukushima plant and the tayties had been treated like ripe grapes on the vinyard; obviously there were no esca"pees". We attempted revival but despite copious amounts of mayto chup and some intricate "knife" surgery all attempts were in vain. Oct 24 Heaving like a mosh pit so that is always good sign. Friendly and quick service kinda like end of life care which is always a good sign. (Unless you're being held by terrorists....) Food "looked" nice. Sadly it tasted like a frozen cabbage. Lilly, the waitress, made up for the sad food with a genuine lovely smile and easily the best of the staff 😊

i have been using this Beafeater for the last 5 years and never had a bad meal. i my expirance this is one of the best ( maybe the best) Beafeaters in the estate and i have tried many. i they have had challenges with supplys today but Charlie and Monika are absolute stars and provide an outstanding service tonight. Add Jen and Carla and you have a exceptional team Well done and have a great Christmas

Even though the menu was limited because of supply issues our meal was excellent. We had everything we wanted. The ribeye steak was best I’d had in a long time. Our waitress Jenny was excellent and could not apologise enough because of the menu situation. She had a lovely manner and made our dining experience all the better.

Arrived at restaurant after booking on line for my sons birthday. We were told when we sat at table that there was supplier issue&that a lot of items on menu were not available. No pre warning when booked. Very disappointing 😔 .ruined our whole evening!!

Fantastic staff, food good however whitbred not supplying ingredients due to shortage.

Had a breakfast here my second time now just got to say it’s amazing going again this Friday best in Redditch

We all went to Redditch Beefeater for a family birthday there was only two staff this is 5:00 in the evening there was loads of stuff missing on the menu the stuff said it was down to the food supplier which to be honest was not our fault I had a burger and chips I'm being honest here there must have been around 20 chips on the plate I'm just a burger no sides to go with it when we was paying the bill they asked if we wanted to leave a tip we've refused they looked at a strange I'm saying it was not their fault but it was no consolation to the food that we eat it look like a children's portion

Just had one of the best experiences at the Beefeater Redditch. We were served by Skye, she is the best waitress weve ever had here! She just didn't stop the whole time we were there. Thank you Skye 🥰

We had a very tasty meal at Redditch Beefeater. The restaurant had a lovely ambience. Nicely decorated. The service first class. Donna was excellent. Really friendly. Made us feel at home. No complaints whatsoever. Thank you.

Went for breakfast this morning breakfast was ok but nothing amazing. Alot of the continental ran out so had to ask to be toped up so waiting. Hot breakfast the scrambled egg and beans wasn't very hot.

Lovely food.(Compliments to the chef) Excellent waitress who always looks mega busy, but always has a smile for us. Atmosphere very relaxing. Our Favourite place to eat out right now

Fantastic meal. We go regularly and really enjoy the service. Matt is always a fantastic member of staff and goes above and beyond to make sure customers are happy.

Not very happy as I came in for a meal with my son. The kids menu is 8.50 and the lunch adults menu is 7.99 I asked if I could have the kids menu as I wanted a smaller portion and less calories for myself. I was told no not allowed the kids menu although it costs MORE money so I don’t see why the branch would say no to me when I wasn’t doing it for a deal I was asking for it and explained I wanted a smaller portion. Never mind. Won’t be returning. what happened to customers always right lol

Service was shocking, had to clear our own plates waiting over 40 minutes for food. When challenged the waitress was sent over to apologise but instead threw lots of reasons and basically said we made it up! Such a shame as we’ve had some super experiences here. And to add to this it wasn’t busy.

the service was very slow waited over an hour for the. meal and the waited was abrupt when we complained we have had a lot of meals here and never had to wait this long

I lost Whamageddon on 7 November. I can't forgive this. Friendly staff, acceptable food. Good service. But Whamageddon in early November? Why.

We were welcomed with a smile and showed to our table. Both drinks order & food order were taken in a timely fashion. The food was well presented and cooked to perfection using quality ingredients. Our waitress was Donna who made sure we were happy throughout our visit and especially during the meal. If you like good quality food without paying restaurant prices this is certainly worth a visit. My only thought is that they could do with more vegetarian options as my wife is one and said so.

Me and my loved ones attended here for a wake, and it got brought to my attention that the manager was asking a question for my cousin to reply only some are eating we think, this wasn’t the part that made me think people are so rude He replied with “how long you going to be then” we booked a table keeping in mind My cousin had to reply to this manager, saying “how long does a grieving mother need” Honestly it was such poor service for this situation people don’t understand.

I don't have happy memories of Beefeater's from decades age. So when I was invited here I wasn't over the moon but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Food was excellent and the service was very good. The place was really busy and it was a Wednesday evening. It would have been 5 stars if the toilets weren't so messy and dirty. Will definitely go again

Nachos - very spicy (nice) and covered in coriander (disgusting) Burger - something tasted like anti bac spray, maybe the lettuce. However the meat was very nice and not dry at all, could wolf it down without getting indigestion Kitkat Sundae - didn’t have the kitkat so was just a chocolate sundae still nice though Staff - wait staff were really lovely and very friendly, waited on every need even though they were super busy, made sure we had consistent drinks. Looks like they worked great as a team and not afraid to help each other out Toilets - messy but that’s to be expected in a pubs men’s toilet

Made the day for us,our dad who is 91 had nothing but praise for her,he could see just how busy she was but made him feel special. A massive thank you to all who made our day.From front of house to the back of house,cooks bar staff and all the waiting staff.The place was spotless and the facilities were extremely clean.Now looking forward to booking a big family meal,thank you all. charlie you are an absolute star,made the day.Big big thank you.

It was better I would say. The food was more juicy last time when we was here. The food is still tasty no complain, but it was different. For me it looks like the price is the same but the quantity was smaller. Don't think we will visit beefeater in the near future

We visited the Beefeater today for lunch and had a wonderful meal. We have been before for lunch and the steak was excellent as usual. The lunch time menu is excellent value. I would just like to thank Carol , our waitress for her wonderful service. She is always smiling and very helpful making sure everyone is satisfied with their meal. Good service, good food, a little pricey, but worth it.

Very good experience, the food was amazing steaks cooked perfectly and all food was hot and tasty, for dessert i had a biscoff sundae which was fabulous. Jen our server was fabulous and is a credit to the restaurant, she made sure everyone was happy and made by birthday amazing. Thank you very much definitely will be returning!

This is not our first time, but always a pleasurable visit, always friendly staff nothing is too much trouble but especially on Wednesday 16th October, we were served by karen Bryant who was absolutely lovely and very attentive couldn't do enough for myself and my husband. Would highly recommend the redditch beefeater, great food and friendly staff. Keep up the good work.

Excellent food, extremely friendly and inviting staff. We ate in for dinner on 2 nights and breakfast, couldn't fault the food.... WEWILL RETURN.

Had another really good meal. We ordered our Fillet Steaks rare and this is how they were cooked - just right! Good food good service and fair prices a So recommend.

Steak wasn’t what I asked for and also ordered and paid for peppercorn sauce which never came so had to re order and pay again and still waited 20 mins for it by this time my food was cold so didn’t eat my meal and wasn’t offered a refund or any apology

Gets very busy at weekends, and sometimes booking through the premier inn next door isn't communicated.

We turned up and was sat directly by the door. Wasn’t made to feel welcome and rushed. We left not long after

Went for a beer last night with my friends from America ..the bar lady was as miserable as sin .. back for breakfast this morning ..lovely guy running the place , food was really good.

If you're looking for a great breakfast this is the place to visit. Came here for a works meeting, staff very helpful and the food nice and hot. Plenty of selection from fruit and cereals to various pastries and not forgetting the fried breakfast, lovely

Come here often, good food nice atmosphere and some excellent staff. I always ask for Cara she is a highlight of an evening meal.

Couldn’t fault any of your services

Unfortunately have to eat at the place for a week, and it was not to bad until it was horrible, at one of the sittings I was waiting almost 2 hours for medium cooked steak as they simply couldn't cook it to the order, so I have to down grade my order to make it simple for the cook, by the time it arrived I wasn't even hungry any more just fed up.

Waitress was really helpful and friendly

This is a great place for a meal out. Lovely atmosphere, friendly and accommodating staff, really good with allergies and dietary requirements. My sister has Celiacs and Lactose intolerance and always has a lovely meal there.

A great mid week breakfast. Kids ate for free and me and my wife had an unlimited fry up, with coffee and then pastries etc They made fresh poached eggs for me, which was no bother for them. Great value at a tenner each (with two free kids!)

What a lovely afternoon we spent here. Our local Beefeaters (2 of them) have closed for whatever reason and realise just how much I miss them. It was as busy as ever but the food was excellent, service brilliant as always and the atmosphere very relaxing.

Me and boyfriend had a lovely and enjoyable meal out served by the wonderful and bubbly cara made us laugh smile and many more couldn't thank her enough for the lovely meal and drinks we were both served 😀

We visited yesterday with a group of 10! We were not disappointed, Corrine was our server, nothing was too much trouble. She was attentive, helpful and smiley! The food was spot on, piping hot and tasted fab! Normally a regular at Beefeaters, but noticed a decline since they have closed some, however this visit has taken it back up to the top spot for Sunday lunch!

Had a lovely meal at Beefeater Redditch really enjoyed the meal. What really made the difference was the service. Our waitress was called Cara, such a lovely bubbley lady. Cara really looked after us, made sure we had everything we needed, checked in with us throughout the meal. We would definitely visit again and hopefully have Cara look after us again.... The only disappointment was we couldn't give Cara the tip we wanted to because the card machines in the restaurant didn't work and the bar machines wouldn't pass on the tip to her...

Decided to come for a family meal, got sat down straight away. A brilliant waitress (Skye) came over near immediately to take our order, had a big smile and made us laugh. Food was great, steak cooked perfectly. Definitely coming again!

I have no idea how Corrine remembered everyone’s drink and food orders without stopping all night! Amazing service and food cooked exactly how we wanted. Look forward to coming back soon!

Great breakfast and good value for money

First visit here but very impressed with food friendliness and overall impression

fantastic meal for a double birthday celebration. we arrived slightly too early for our table which was no problem and were seated by Charlie who noticed our birthday badges and after we were seated she brought over a little sign for the table and a little card as well. food was served quickly as were the drinks which we loved the little extra touch curtesy of charlie of a birthday bow on each of our drinks. the steak was cooked perfect over all we will be back to this particular beefeater as we had fantastic service

Fantastic experience, the food was amazing , service was way above and beyond and the atmosphere was delightful
