Friendly, efficient service from Connie who was smiley and pleasant. Food was good although steak was perhaps under cooked but still very enjoyable.

The ribs and fries were good with the coleslaw. I had banoffee pie for dessert and it wasn't very nice, they should have gone for a regular biscuit base and not the crumbly sugary base. It was overpriced for a mouthful of sugar.

Very prompt and friendly service. Nothing was too much trouble for Alissa. This was a birthday celebration and Alissa made a huge contribution to making sure we all had fun without being intrusive or pushy but was always there when we wanted anything. A return visit is guaranteed.

I don’t think there’s anything to improve in as it’s a great place over the years we have taken people there and they as recommended it to friends and family

Resturant was so cold was placed near entrance moved was no better, only 1 waitress available had to wait ages to be served, asked for well done steak arrived pink, onion loaf was burnt inedible Wasn't even that busy tbh for the service available, and the way dinner was cooked, only good thing was the starter. Decided not to order desserts, couldn't wait to get in the car to warm up Won't be hurrying back

A) When entering the restaurant, obviously opening the door was difficult as I was holding a balloon, a clutch bag and birthday cake . I could see few staff standing by the bar and chatting not even one came to open the door and helping me.(even thought 2 of them saw me outside the door). B) the staff were not as welcoming as was expected and very slow and disorganised, it took them along time to clear out our table and when they did, either was half way so we had to call them again or they didn't know what to clear. C) they mixed up the birthday cake so we had to wait a while for the actual cake to arrive. (they didn't even ask the right questions). we could see the staff were all over the place and 2 staff were chatting in the middle of the restaurant. I don't blame the staff I blame the manager who did not organise the staff and didn't train them in the correct and official manner to make sure the night go smoothly so both staff and guest would be happy and satisfied. D) Our meal was alright but the menu was confusing. I paid about £200 for 4 person and I didn't have the experience I was expecting or hoping. Apart from the meal being alright, there was not even a back ground music.... It sounded like a sports bar with food rather then a restaurant who's asking for classy/casual dressup with no sport shoes. This restaurant needs alot improvements.

We took my elderly parents for a meal on Sunday, late afternoon, there were 6 of us plus an infant. We were pleasantly met and seated in the conservatory and our server was really pleasant. Starters were as described and our grandson offered his meal immediately. The mains of 5 rib eye steaks and lamb rump were good perfectly (always worry that steak will be tough) and were hot as was the sides. Dessert menu was nice (custard but no apple pie). All in all a good experience. I have been here before and it’s not been great, but c Reddit where credit is due to the staff and cooks.

Attentive staff - our waitress went out of her ways when she found out we had birthday girls in our party - Foodie of a high standard clean place - good at Sphere . Staff , listened and made us feel valued

Had a lovely meal here today to treat mum for Mother’s Day. We always go here for family occasions and today was as brilliant as always. All the team are friendly and today was no exception being served by Alissa and Adriana who made sure we were well looked after. Fantastic food, service…. Thank you

The steaks here are always spot on in both portion size and taste. I ordered te filet mignon and I was not disappointed. There were options for my children who also enjoyed their meals. We will definitely be returning again hopefully soon.

Had a fabulous evening on Sunday was served by Georgie. A* service provided. This restaurant never disappoints. The lamb rump was to die for.

Asked for steak to be well done (on the menu described as brown all the way through), this was not the case and was quite pink, especially in the middle of the steak. Also, the steak was very fatty around the edges, not just the marbling (which melts away), expected throughout a ribeye steak. No plates were provided with the breadboard starter that was shared between 2 people. I'm not sure that I would rush back.

Went for our anniversary on Thursday evening, firstly the service was really quite slow, secondly although the steak was cooked lovely , it was so over seasoned I found it hard to eat, the beef dripping sauce , what has happed to it?? Used to be absolutely amazing now is thick and tasted like bisto, also so salty so disappointing. The onion loaf was pretty good, but also quite greasy . Been so may times here before and always perfect. I wasn’t blown away last night unfortunately.

A double birthday celebration! A qick word with Tim before crown to outrctables ensured that he was aware of two birthday guests.. and that the bill was settled by me discreetly. Served by the fabulous Kelly ,excellent memory about who was having what. Brought side plates and extra cutlery and we had shared starters . Knew her menus and what each plate would consist of. Despite the restaurant getting busy later, she didn’t miss a beat. Forgot nothing , ensured we lacked for nothing . Was attentive not instrusive- the birthday girls had desserts complete with gold candles and a resounding chorus of ‘ happy Birthday - Kelly was out photographer also- in there no end to this ladies talent .. earn d M&C an ver happy 5 star review

Always enjoy coming here. Terry and June have been amazing from the moment we enter to the time we left. Thank you for the whole team on today including the kitchen team. My girls always love to share compliments with the chefs. We shall see you all again very soon.

A Keats the food and atmosphere were brilliant but the service wasn’t up to the usual standard they seem to have too few staff covering too many tables. Cost effective but not client friendly.

We waited 45 minits for our starters and an extra half hour for our table that was pre booked buy time we had our food it was way passed 10 and lost our appetite

The steak, thanks to Connie, was succulent, tender and mouth watering. The juices from both the meat and sauce, is worthy of a Michelin star born from the roots of the Essex loyal. The atmosphere, the women, the smell of sweet red vine - nothing can succumb to this experience.

We went on father's day it was very busy but not too as we couldn't hear each other .The menu had so many choices it took us all a while to choose. when the food came it looked delicious....and it was very.
