Great for what it is! Price point is just right, food can be elevated but nice for a date and business meeting!

Michael was by far one of the best waiters that I had when I came here. 10 out of 10 guy, would come again, especially for the food.

We came In last night for dinner which was delicious! We were served by Georgina who was lovely and friendly.

Had an amazing dining experience at Miller & Carter Woodford Green! From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed thru the evening. The steak was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavour. The sides were just as good, especially the stuffed bone marrow. You can really tell they take pride in their dishes. The ambiance was great for a relaxing and enjoyable meal, with a good balance of elegance and comfort. My only minor disappointment was the lack of parking, which made arriving a little tricky. However, once inside, the incredible food and service more than made up for it. Overall, a fantastic restaurant that I highly recommend to any steak lover.

Food and service were excellent. Michael even went that bit extra for our 18 year old son with a dessert for his birthday. We hadn't pre-booked so wasn't expecting such a nice, memorable gesture.

Michael was amazing. So upbeat, knowledgeable, tuned in and keen for us to enjoy our dinner. I have never known such enthusiasm from a waiter and assumed he was the Manager. He knows everything about meat and couldn’t have cared more. He is an asset to Miller and Carter and we would go back because of how welcoming he was. V helpful with our childrens’ allergies and reassuring. The venue was impressive and calming. Amazing evening. This was 10 April.

The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were generous — definitely the highlight of our visit. However, the service left a lot to be desired. The way our food was placed on the table felt careless, almost as if it were being tossed rather than served. Throughout the meal, the waitress repeatedly asked us to pass her items like empty bottles, making us feel like we were part of the staff rather than customers. To make things worse, when we received the bill, we were surprised to see that everything had been charged individually despite ordering the Sunday special set menu. When we pointed it out, the waitress asked if we mentioned the set menu when ordering — which we had — and she went to correct it. However, the revised bill had a new mistake: an extra starter had been added. We caught the error again and had to ask for another correction. It felt like they were hoping we wouldn’t notice. Great food, but unfortunately, the poor service and billing issues really tainted the experience.

Great evening with friends, there were 16 of us and not many restaurants would take that size group, but they did and the service was great all night. I had an 8oz sirloin which was so tender. The wine choice was pretty good and we had an enjoyable Argentinian Malbec that was just over £30 a bottle.

As a regular here I was not happy with my recent visit as I was left waiting for my food for an hour and all I got was excuses. Other customers who came after us were served their food as normal but my table was left in the corner forgotten waiting for our food. They kept telling us that it was coming. So after a further 15 mins of waiting we finally gave up and left with empty stomachs. WORST EXPERIENCE!!

I visit there today waited for over an hour for my food to not arrive, all we got was excuses apparently there was technical issues but everyone that arrived after us was still served. Due to the lack of communication and the poor service we received, we ultimately chose to leave without being served. This experience was quite frustrating and not what we expected as regular costumers.

Ordered from the set lunch menu which was excellent value for money, delicious food and generous portion sizes. Our waiter, Goncalo, was brilliant and made our visit extra special, even overhearing that it was my son's birthday and bringing his dessert with a candle! Would recommend and will definitely visit again.

Davina was very friendly and efficient in taking our orders and dealing with any queries we had, as this was our first visit. It was a lovely evening the food was delicious, the desserts were a bit of a let down and possibly need a change to keep up with the standard of the starter and mains. It was very quiet in there so maybe the music could be a bit louder as I could hear people eating. Otherwise a lovely visit.

I stopped by Miller & Carter around 9:00 PM with a serious craving for a Tomahawk steak. Michael greeted me warmly and let me know the kitchen was nearly closed, but he went above and beyond to speak with the wonderful chef and made sure I was seated and looked after. I ordered the Tomahawk, paired with mashed potatoes and red wine sauce — and wow, what a perfect combination! The steak was cooked to absolute perfection, full of flavor and beautifully presented. Everything was served with care and great attention to detail. Although they were out of tiramisu, which was a bit of a shame, Michael handled it like a true professional and kindly offered an alternative dessert that I took home and enjoyed just as much. Thank you, Michael, for another wonderful experience. Your dedication and service truly made my evening!

The food was amazing! We shared the Butcher’s Block ( Fillet, Ribeye, and Rump). We listened to Mike’s advice on how to cook the steak, and it was spot on! Amazing service from him, very friendly and helpful, not pushy as well! Great experience 10/10.

Fantastic steak as usual. our waiter was attentive , but not overly so, and good humored. we inadvertently stayed beyond their closing time but were never rushed to finish our conversation. When we did leave, I carelessly left my mobile behind on the table, realising only upon reaching home. we phoned the restaurant and the staff had already secured it. On our return, the manager was delaying his leaving pending our arrival. Great service, thumbs up all round.

We visited the restaurant to celebrate my partners 40th birthday. He had brought me here last year to celebrate my birthday and we had such amazing service I knew we had to return. Fortunately, we are lucky enough to have Mike as our server again. He is a creidt to the team and always delivers friendly and attentive service. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was lovely and Michael went above and beyond to make it a special evening. We will definitely be returning soon.

My family and I visited Miller and Carter in Woodford for our Mothers day meal. The ambiance is lovely, nice low background music, dimmed light in the evening and plenty of seat space. Considering how busy the restaurant was we didn't wait long for our food to arrive between courses. Our waiter Micheal was phenomenal, he gave us recommendations, was attentive during our service and extremely patient and kind, I could go on!The food was delicious and we all enjoyed the meals which I have shared in the photo's above. Thank you Miller and Carter for a great meal and thank you Micheal for making our family outting an enjoyable experience.

We came here as a Mother’s Day gift. Michael was our server and he was absolutely brilliant. Michael was very attentive and was constantly making sure we were ok with what we had and all of our food.
