Cracking joint, good beer and music, unfortunately didnt eat here but other tables food looked and smelled nice. Arrived from Australia this morning and the staff looked after me well. Would recommend people to go here if staying in the area. Super cosy, thanks!

Pub itself was fine but the male bartender with curly hair was extremely rude. He was leaning against the bar on his phone for a while before he finally came up to take my order (I was the only one waiting) he just stood in front of me saying nothing, no hello or asking what I’d like. He did shout over to some people sitting at the bar that he was hungover so maybe that’s why but expecting some better service from quite an expensive pub. He also didn’t ask about any allergies when taking our food order so I had to be sure to inform him of a severe food allergy I had.

Called in on way home as still open late. Very friendly chilled atmosphere with bar staff who really knew how to pour a good guinness for 2 thirsty Irish Men.

Honestly the staff are friendly but it didn't smell great and the venue is pretty small. The wallpaper art is pretty unique with thrifty aesthetics aka lots of stickers which gives the place personality. I don't mind pubs that have that local feel to it but it's not a night out type of place.

We had a private hire this evening at the eye and I could not rave about it more. Hannah our bartender was FAB, many people commented that she felt part of our party not staff - shout out to Hannah! Also the manager was attentive, gave us updates about stuff and also was just such a sweetheart. It couldn’t have been a better evening for our party - you’ll see us again! (The food selection was also AMAZING!) Thank you so much to all the team xxxx

We had a surprise 40th birthday party upstairs in the Camden Eye last night and it was truly amazing! From booking it to after the event the communication had been 5 star!! Everyone I had contact with were so kind and helpful, NOTHING was too much. The venue terms were the best I could find by a mile. The food was also AMAZING! Honestly they had such a wide range of vegan food and non vegan for the hire that everybody was happy. I had so many people say to me how good the food was and the non vegans couldn't tell the difference. If you want a cheap party venue hire with the most lovely staff, book here!! Thank you Bronte and all the staff at the Camden Eye!!!

Was excited to try this pub for the number of vegan options on offer. Had a table upstairs where it was empty other than one other table - went down to order food at the bar and my bad hadn’t noticed my table number. I politely tried to describe which table it was (as there was only 5 tables upstairs) ‘long table, by the window in the middle of the room’ and didn’t think there would be an issue as it was basically empty upstairs anyway. However, the person at the bar had so much attitude and just huffed and rudely instructed ‘just go upstairs and find out the number’ and walked off. If the table number was that important for an empty upstairs and they’d asked me nicely if I could double check the table number that would’ve been fine but this interaction was really poor customer service. I ended up going back upstairs getting my friend and leaving to go to a different food place. I’ve worked in customer service roles and know it can be rough but when the customer is being friendly and you just give them attitude and a rude response for no reason it really ruins the experience and loses you customers. Really disappointing experience to start my year of ‘trying new places’ as I would never return or recommend somewhere like this.

This is a lovely place with cute decorations and a good live DJ on Sunday night. Its a shame that the service guy was sarcastic when asked about food choices. Once ordered, the food was not good (fish and chips was dry, even though the pictures look ok, but there was almost no meat on the fish at all, Gravy on porkbelly with no flavor ……). Overall a lovely location for a beer, but lack of customer care, rude servers when told about bad bathroom cleanlines as well.

Hosted my birthday party in the private room upstairs and I can't tell you how accommodating the staff were. They really went out of their way to resolve an issue when we were missing part of our music set up. The space is fantastic, and open until 3 which is really rare for a pub - everyone was saying what a great venue it was. Highly recommend booking for a private party!

Very cool pub. delicious beer. The comedy show upstairs was very funny :) We didn't have any food.

Good late night pub. Drinks not too pricey. Has a casual atmosphere but more suited to a younger audience. Staff always great here and friendly. Toilets are downstairs. Very near all the local amenities here like the tube and many kebab and fast food joints. Draught and spirits range is pretty expansive.

I rather like this pub. It is a bit different what with the old fashioned wallpaper and the multitude of posters covering up said wallpaper. The bar is on two levels and they do host various events, from music to comedy. There is a food menu which I did not try. The service is warm and friendly. They do have various draft beers and ciders but only one cask beer (London Pride). They also have a good whisky selection, I settled on a double Monkey Shoulder for £10 and a rather expensive (for a 2.8% IPA) Satellite at £7.10. In summary a pub worth a visit.

What a joyous end spot for my first endeveauur into the famous Camden Town. A paletible mixture of punk energy and friendly service. I came for the aesthetic but will return for the atmosphere.

Great pub right opposite Camden Underground with a good mix of punk rock music and a nice atmosphere! The bar staff is very friendly and attentive and the crowd is usually quite mixed, which is great!

Very cool pub, with a cool punk atmosphere. Two correct original guys behind the counter! Good selection of beer and other drinks... when we were there a groovy djane was playing vinyl with subtle cool classics... very cool, I would stop by here more often! Just a good atmosphere! ✌🏻🍻

Mi compañero y yo llamamos el miércoles pasado para el evento Comedy in your eye que se celebrará arriba. Llegamos bastante temprano, así que tomamos una copa o dos abajo primero, y qué gran lugar! El personal era muy amable y servicial, con una gran selección de cervezas y absolutamente golpeando rock / metal tocando en el bar. . . siempre es agradable escuchar un poco de terapia? fuera y alrededor en público! Lo recomiendo encarecidamente. Y la comedia de arriba era *Beso de chefs*

Called into the pub for a pint with my disabled son , the lad behind the bar , was so helpful open fire door so my son could gain access, put down seat out side for us went over board , can’t remember his name it was 22/07 at 13.00 pm please pass on our thanks to him

Guy at the bar walked off and left 10 customers waiting while he stood there and had a chat to a a friend lol. Didn’t even know what a schooner was. Happy hour was false advertising it was only 2 beers on tap that were an apart of thag deal and one was a cider. Could find better place in London.

Been coming here on and off for the last few months now and it's always been a great experience. I was in last Wednesday for the comedy show which was amazing, what wasn't amazing is that i was at the bar waiting to be served and there was only 1 bartender at the time who was obviously busy bless them so waited a good 10 minutes which wasn't a problem at all but then one of their colleagues came behind the bar and asked who was next, which I was. Then I get pushed away by this random guy who I saw walk in that wanted to order before me. I didn't want to cause a scene out of respect for everyone there but the member of staff behind the bar handled the situation so professionally and went out of their way to not even charge me for it. So this is just an appreciation post for the 2 members of staff behind the bar on Wednesday evening, and to the owner, you've got a pair of awesome individuals working for you and I hope it doesn't go unnoticed!

Great lil pub right near Camden Town station. Geat atmosphere and decor and very good staff keeping the queues to a minimum in the bad area. Deffo is worth a visit when you are in Camden.

love the camden eye. super kind and helpful staff. great drinks, and i don’t even like drinking. the frozen strawberry watermelon margarita is bomb and the pokémon shots are so fun and yummy.

I think I was too long in the tooth for this pub. The music was loud, even at 6pm. Not really what I wanted after a 10 hour work shift. Still, it was good to see a place busy, the Amstel was good and cool and the clutch of regulars enjoyed the atmosphere. Camden has a lot of live music / stand up establishment's and the Eye has an extensive list of events, which is slso great to see. Xmas and Halloween have never stopped at the Eye. I'm probably not too old, just wasn't a good day for me.

There is a slightly strange waiter, always with a bad face ready. It's not normal in London. Also strange atmosphere at times. Bad music.

FEMALES BEWARE!!! I had to give this place one star to write the review. The door staff and manager in this pub are truly awful. I, and many others in the venue witnessed an absolute text book predator, walking around tables acting like he was a normal customer, minesweeping drinks and cornering females. I saw him freak the hell out of a woman at the bar, he then proceeded to touch me when I was standing waiting for a drink. I told him to get lost AND told the manager that the guy was dangerous. The manager rolled his eyes and said "oh yeah I know who you mean" but in the end we got kicked out for being difficult while the predator was permitted to stay inside. These guys are part of the reason why sexual assault happens and women feel unable to report it! I deeply regret going to the manager with my issue as they did nothing. What I should have done was throw my drink, or hand, in the face of the guy who deemed it acceptable to grope me and no doubt numerous other ladies in the pub

Waitresses unkind, we were greeted badly, table very dirty, customers who played football inside the restaurant, we never ever seen something like that, a true nightmare ! we decided to leave the restaurant out of desperation.

Popped in for a quick pint on our travels. Was busy for a Monday afternoon, lots of pubs around were empty. Really good atmosphere. We didn't have any food but lots in were eating. The food looked great (especially the fish and chips). Not sure how good it was but every plate was empty! Only gripe the Guinness wasn't the best but would definitely return to try the other drinks and some of the fish and chips

When Camden Market got too busy, we got a table in here next to the window with a couple of drinks and watched the crowds while listening to the awesome playlist.

I'd say we're not there for an hour for a burger. Great location though

Another lovely pub sandwiched the underworld and Dev. Plays a plethora of different tracks by different artists of different genres. So in that regard its very inclusive. I only knocked this down by 1 star because not all the songs played appealed to me. Nout wrong with that. It's just like my opinion man. I was also missed my last train and still a wee bit salty about. The train companies need to seriously keep up.

the AC in the middle of winter is unacceptable. The Roast chicken was awful and very salty. I recommend this place to people with a doberman palate.

Been there Sunday evening and got served by the beautiful Tara , she was so calm and charming , she recommended good beers with a big smily face , she made me feel comfortable, we had a chat about the Camden seen and all , Loveley pub , apart from the toilets , they were a hit nasty , I will go back again for sure , such a vibe .
