This is a great pub to either hang out in the early evening or party into the night. They have regular live music nights in the upstairs room where local up and coming bands showcase their music.

Do not come in here on a Saturday night if you are a woman! The whole pub was filled with intimidating men who just stand and stare at women, with only one bouncer on the door. I was assaulted by a stranger and had to get the bouncer to kick him out (who, to his credit, was very clear about not letting him back in once I explained what happened). My friends and I felt incredibly unsafe in here and will go elsewhere in future, which is a shame as during the day this pub is a great vibe with very friendly staff.

Alternative pub. I didn't eat but the people next door ordered fish & chips and it had a dark batter, made from very used oil. A poor man came in and sat at a table where there was a very unfriendly waitress who told him that with all the free seats there were, he had just sat at her table, very unpleasant. If I were that man I would have left the bar, but he changed tables without further ado.

Afternoon visit for a big day out pit stop. Had chips and chicken strips, all were absolutely delicious, fresh, hot, and the sauces were delish. The best part, great value for money, a proper portion of chips and fries. Dog friendly too 😃

Great little pub near Camden station… once you get in it looks small but does have a downstairs and extends out. We stopped here for a quick drink but i think they do live music. Highly recommended!!

h tal bizzare conjunto de personal de la puerta. Se sentía incómodo e incluso peligroso. Finalmente conseguimos que nuestras chaquetas compraran 25 libras malgastadas en bebidas que no podríamos tener. Hablé con otro miembro del personal que parecía ser mayor. Tranquila y tranquilamente le dije que este portero era irracional e inestable y no daba ninguna razón excepto que estaba tratando de fundir su poder y autoridad a capricho y no tenía base ni criterio para sus acciones. Les expliqué que si quieren tener a este hombre controlando quién entra al local entonces necesitan tener una persona inteligente y racional con algo de inteligencia humana. No un ego maníaco con una bandana actuando como un matón. Esta revisión se publica para una respuesta de la administración. A lo que puedo responder si es necesario. Dirijo restaurantes y cafés y llevo 35 años en la hostelería. Nunca he visto nada tan absurdo en todos estos años.

Ouma has been a legend and looked after us all night!

Such a great vibe! Sat for ages with a group and we’re happy as piggies in poo. Staff and service are great; shout out to Ouma who was so friendly and great help with friend who had allergies :D

A must for any pub lover in Camden! We're currently at the Camden Eye pub and absolutely love it! The authentic ambience is simply fantastic - you immediately feel at home and immerse yourself in the typical pub atmosphere. And of course the beer! Simply delicious and a great selection. Anyone who is ever near Camden should definitely take a look here. A real gem!

Called in Sunday evening just gone when visiting from Ireland for the weekend, absolutely loved the place ,the chap on the door was sound also,good vibes and friendly ,my first time there and will most certainly not be my last

My mum fell in a hole outside the pub in the street.... water was gushing and it was touch and go.. A member of staff called Mario, selflessly stripped to his briefs jumped in and saved her. For this I will always be grateful

Met some friends at 17:30 for drinks ahead of a gig at the underworld. All good until 18:00 when for some inexplicable reason, the music was cranked up to a level where conversation was impossible. Still, the bar staff seemed to be having a good time, which I guess is more important that the paying customer. Won't be back...

After having some food we approached the bar for a drink. On arrival we were told by the doorman that he didn't like the look of us and refused entry. We had been not been drinking as we watched a comedy show. When asking why we were not allowed entry we were met with insults.

Fun pub in Camden Town with a lot of personality.

Brought some of my friends to this lovely pub in the heart of Camden, the food was amazing and Karl loved the punk vibe it held. Staff were fun and accommodating, even played some of our song requests! Would definitely come again

The pricing for the drinks is decent for London and the staff are lovely, would definitely checkout if you are into comics and all that sort of stuff

Cracking joint, good beer and music, unfortunately didnt eat here but other tables food looked and smelled nice. Arrived from Australia this morning and the staff looked after me well. Would recommend people to go here if staying in the area. Super cosy, thanks!

Pub itself was fine but the male bartender with curly hair was extremely rude. He was leaning against the bar on his phone for a while before he finally came up to take my order (I was the only one waiting) he just stood in front of me saying nothing, no hello or asking what I’d like. He did shout over to some people sitting at the bar that he was hungover so maybe that’s why but expecting some better service from quite an expensive pub. He also didn’t ask about any allergies when taking our food order so I had to be sure to inform him of a severe food allergy I had.

Called in on way home as still open late. Very friendly chilled atmosphere with bar staff who really knew how to pour a good guinness for 2 thirsty Irish Men.

Honestly the staff are friendly but it didn't smell great and the venue is pretty small. The wallpaper art is pretty unique with thrifty aesthetics aka lots of stickers which gives the place personality. I don't mind pubs that have that local feel to it but it's not a night out type of place.

We had a surprise 40th birthday party upstairs in the Camden Eye last night and it was truly amazing! From booking it to after the event the communication had been 5 star!! Everyone I had contact with were so kind and helpful, NOTHING was too much. The venue terms were the best I could find by a mile. The food was also AMAZING! Honestly they had such a wide range of vegan food and non vegan for the hire that everybody was happy. I had so many people say to me how good the food was and the non vegans couldn't tell the difference. If you want a cheap party venue hire with the most lovely staff, book here!! Thank you Bronte and all the staff at the Camden Eye!!!

We had a private hire this evening at the eye and I could not rave about it more. Hannah our bartender was FAB, many people commented that she felt part of our party not staff - shout out to Hannah! Also the manager was attentive, gave us updates about stuff and also was just such a sweetheart. It couldn’t have been a better evening for our party - you’ll see us again! (The food selection was also AMAZING!) Thank you so much to all the team xxxx

Was excited to try this pub for the number of vegan options on offer. Had a table upstairs where it was empty other than one other table - went down to order food at the bar and my bad hadn’t noticed my table number. I politely tried to describe which table it was (as there was only 5 tables upstairs) ‘long table, by the window in the middle of the room’ and didn’t think there would be an issue as it was basically empty upstairs anyway. However, the person at the bar had so much attitude and just huffed and rudely instructed ‘just go upstairs and find out the number’ and walked off. If the table number was that important for an empty upstairs and they’d asked me nicely if I could double check the table number that would’ve been fine but this interaction was really poor customer service. I ended up going back upstairs getting my friend and leaving to go to a different food place. I’ve worked in customer service roles and know it can be rough but when the customer is being friendly and you just give them attitude and a rude response for no reason it really ruins the experience and loses you customers. Really disappointing experience to start my year of ‘trying new places’ as I would never return or recommend somewhere like this.

This is a lovely place with cute decorations and a good live DJ on Sunday night. Its a shame that the service guy was sarcastic when asked about food choices. Once ordered, the food was not good (fish and chips was dry, even though the pictures look ok, but there was almost no meat on the fish at all, Gravy on porkbelly with no flavor ……). Overall a lovely location for a beer, but lack of customer care, rude servers when told about bad bathroom cleanlines as well.

We came to visit the Camden district and had lunch in this pub. Super nice atmosphere, unusual decoration and super good food!

Hosted my birthday party in the private room upstairs and I can't tell you how accommodating the staff were. They really went out of their way to resolve an issue when we were missing part of our music set up. The space is fantastic, and open until 3 which is really rare for a pub - everyone was saying what a great venue it was. Highly recommend booking for a private party!

Good late night pub. Drinks not too pricey. Has a casual atmosphere but more suited to a younger audience. Staff always great here and friendly. Toilets are downstairs. Very near all the local amenities here like the tube and many kebab and fast food joints. Draught and spirits range is pretty expansive.

I rather like this pub. It is a bit different what with the old fashioned wallpaper and the multitude of posters covering up said wallpaper. The bar is on two levels and they do host various events, from music to comedy. There is a food menu which I did not try. The service is warm and friendly. They do have various draft beers and ciders but only one cask beer (London Pride). They also have a good whisky selection, I settled on a double Monkey Shoulder for £10 and a rather expensive (for a 2.8% IPA) Satellite at £7.10. In summary a pub worth a visit.

Mi compañero y yo llamamos el miércoles pasado para el evento Comedy in your eye que se celebrará arriba. Llegamos bastante temprano, así que tomamos una copa o dos abajo primero, y qué gran lugar! El personal era muy amable y servicial, con una gran selección de cervezas y absolutamente golpeando rock / metal tocando en el bar. . . siempre es agradable escuchar un poco de terapia? fuera y alrededor en público! Lo recomiendo encarecidamente. Y la comedia de arriba era *Beso de chefs*
