Called into the pub for a pint with my disabled son , the lad behind the bar , was so helpful open fire door so my son could gain access, put down seat out side for us went over board , can’t remember his name it was 22/07 at 13.00 pm please pass on our thanks to him

Guy at the bar walked off and left 10 customers waiting while he stood there and had a chat to a a friend lol. Didn’t even know what a schooner was. Happy hour was false advertising it was only 2 beers on tap that were an apart of thag deal and one was a cider. Could find better place in London.

Been coming here on and off for the last few months now and it's always been a great experience. I was in last Wednesday for the comedy show which was amazing, what wasn't amazing is that i was at the bar waiting to be served and there was only 1 bartender at the time who was obviously busy bless them so waited a good 10 minutes which wasn't a problem at all but then one of their colleagues came behind the bar and asked who was next, which I was. Then I get pushed away by this random guy who I saw walk in that wanted to order before me. I didn't want to cause a scene out of respect for everyone there but the member of staff behind the bar handled the situation so professionally and went out of their way to not even charge me for it. So this is just an appreciation post for the 2 members of staff behind the bar on Wednesday evening, and to the owner, you've got a pair of awesome individuals working for you and I hope it doesn't go unnoticed!

Great lil pub right near Camden Town station. Geat atmosphere and decor and very good staff keeping the queues to a minimum in the bad area. Deffo is worth a visit when you are in Camden.

I think I was too long in the tooth for this pub. The music was loud, even at 6pm. Not really what I wanted after a 10 hour work shift. Still, it was good to see a place busy, the Amstel was good and cool and the clutch of regulars enjoyed the atmosphere. Camden has a lot of live music / stand up establishment's and the Eye has an extensive list of events, which is slso great to see. Xmas and Halloween have never stopped at the Eye. I'm probably not too old, just wasn't a good day for me.

There is a slightly strange waiter, always with a bad face ready. It's not normal in London. Also strange atmosphere at times. Bad music.

FEMALES BEWARE!!! I had to give this place one star to write the review. The door staff and manager in this pub are truly awful. I, and many others in the venue witnessed an absolute text book predator, walking around tables acting like he was a normal customer, minesweeping drinks and cornering females. I saw him freak the hell out of a woman at the bar, he then proceeded to touch me when I was standing waiting for a drink. I told him to get lost AND told the manager that the guy was dangerous. The manager rolled his eyes and said "oh yeah I know who you mean" but in the end we got kicked out for being difficult while the predator was permitted to stay inside. These guys are part of the reason why sexual assault happens and women feel unable to report it! I deeply regret going to the manager with my issue as they did nothing. What I should have done was throw my drink, or hand, in the face of the guy who deemed it acceptable to grope me and no doubt numerous other ladies in the pub

Waitresses unkind, we were greeted badly, table very dirty, customers who played football inside the restaurant, we never ever seen something like that, a true nightmare ! we decided to leave the restaurant out of desperation.

Popped in for a quick pint on our travels. Was busy for a Monday afternoon, lots of pubs around were empty. Really good atmosphere. We didn't have any food but lots in were eating. The food looked great (especially the fish and chips). Not sure how good it was but every plate was empty! Only gripe the Guinness wasn't the best but would definitely return to try the other drinks and some of the fish and chips

When Camden Market got too busy, we got a table in here next to the window with a couple of drinks and watched the crowds while listening to the awesome playlist.

Great pub with an amazing atmosphere. We visited here for a comedy night and drank something beforehand. Great selection on tap and friendly staff.

Another lovely pub sandwiched the underworld and Dev. Plays a plethora of different tracks by different artists of different genres. So in that regard its very inclusive. I only knocked this down by 1 star because not all the songs played appealed to me. Nout wrong with that. It's just like my opinion man. I was also missed my last train and still a wee bit salty about. The train companies need to seriously keep up.

I rather like this pub. It is a bit different what with the old fashioned wallpaper and the multitude of posters covering up said wallpaper. The bar is on two levels and they do host various events, from music to comedy. There is a food menu which I did not try. The service is warm and friendly. They do have various draft beers and ciders but only one cask beer (London Pride). They also have a good whisky selection, I settled on a double Monkey Shoulder for £10.

the AC in the middle of winter is unacceptable. The Roast chicken was awful and very salty. I recommend this place to people with a doberman palate.

Been there Sunday evening and got served by the beautiful Tara , she was so calm and charming , she recommended good beers with a big smily face , she made me feel comfortable, we had a chat about the Camden seen and all , Loveley pub , apart from the toilets , they were a hit nasty , I will go back again for sure , such a vibe .

The Sunday roast is absolutely delicious. I recommend the roast chicken which was perfectly cooked with a very generous portion of gravy. The staff is friendly. The music is great (Oasis, Arctic Monkeys). I’ll be back!

This place is a really good place to go in Camden if you like a good vibe and a mix of people, And the staff are really good people and friendly and the service I got from Dizz the other night was top notch.

first time in camden I choose this place cuz was the quickest one to the station , but I decide to stay for the great selection of beer amazing bar staff especially Dizz , I would definitely recommend and I will be back soon !

Loved the place and the atmosphere. The bar staff is very professional. Dan the bartender, recommended me a very good cyder. I will definitely visit again next time I'll be in Camden.

A basic pub right next to the metro station. No fiddling with furniture, eating and drinking. Everyone filled their place. The music played also suited this environment well. Small and intimate in the right way.

Very stingy on chicken (Sunday roast). More bones than meat. The gravy tasted like it was from a pack and it probably was. Also, we asked a waiter to clean our table and he just gave us a few napkins for self-cleaning. A bit underwhelming and disappointing overall. Sunday roast should be better.

We went there last Sunday, I honestly can’t rate this place enough, amazing food great atmosphere and super friendly staff ( Tara ) was particularly nice and very helpful she helped us choose the food and drinks from the menu and made us feel very comfortable and welcomed! Curious and apparently typical English place. There was a problem with the POS/Dataphone and it did not work. We went to the ATM to get money and when we returned they didn't serve us until we paid in advance, while other tables didn't. I don't know if it has to do with the fact that we were Spanish and the rest of the clients were not. It seems like they have prejudices. The food is strange. I attach a photo. It's the Roast Pork Belly although it looked like a torrezno from Soria with chimichurri sauce and kale. I couldn't finish it because it was all full of bacon. I wouldn't recommend it.

We have entered this place to have a beer and eat at midday. Our surprise has been that no one local or English speaking has been required to pay for drinks or food in advance, and in addition we have been literally required to pay in cash with the excuse of not going to the POS, which It was strange to see people pay with the card and see that it worked. He has forced us to go out to the bank that is right on the other side of the street to get money from the ATM so we can order. When we returned with the money, the waitress made sure that we had money by showing it to her and until we had paid, she did not serve us the beers or the food. Of course, if you want people to come to this place, this is not the most recommended place due to the terrible service they have for foreign or non-English speaking people.

The waiter took away our chairs with the half-full beers to give them to another table. It doesn't make sense because we didn't bother, there were free chairs at all times and no one else passed by where we were. It seems that it was when he saw that we were not English so he could give them to some friends of his or so that we could leave.

Customer service as it should be - We recently visited the Camden Eye and was beyond pleased with the service we received. I do not eat out very often to avoid crowded places, but our server Tara made the whole experience very enjoyable and put both me and my wife at ease right from the initial start, she seated us upstairs where there was a calming vibe. Our server Tara served me a roast beef dinner and my wife had the pork, it was really delicious, emphasis on the Yorkshire puddings! I will without a doubt be returning to the Camden Eye for lunch again knowing I will be well looked after. Thank you Tara!!

Massively disappointed as the bouncer denied us the entrance for supposedly being 'too busy' when there was obviously place inside and people were coming in all the time. Guess it's not that welcoming for everybody.

Recently visited The Camden Eye with couple of friends and it was such a great atmosphere. The girl behind the bar was so friendly and it has a real charm to it! Would highly recommend the food - not your typical pub dishes.

We visited Monday night, the three members of staff, Kamal, Hannah and Bronte were lovely. It was my birthday, we sat at the bar and just got lost in time by the friendly conversation and wicked cocktails. A* for service and just a really cool venue.

Having been to the Camden Eye a few times I've never been let down by the experience. The staff has always been helpful and the atmosphere is always energetic. Food has always been amazing the Sunday roast has never failed ! The prices are fair and competitive considering the location which is fantastic. If you want to have a great time without commiting to a crazy night out I'll always say the Camden Eye !!

What an amazing experience we had at the Camden Eye ! The food was spectacular and the staff where really top tier , Bronte & Kamal where so kind and helpful on our visit. We had had arrived for a friends birthday which was catered to amazingly by the kind and friendly staff , both of them also had great knowledge of the area and helped us greatly in furthering our London adventure ! Couldn’t recommend this place enough thank-you guys !
